Der Service war unterirdisch. Am Nebentisch wurden Gäste von der Bedienung beleidigt. So etwas habe ich wirklich noch nie gesehen

Leider gibt es hier nur 2 Gesamtpunkte. Essen ist okay, sehr Salzarm, Spaghetti überhaupt nicht gesalzen🥴. Pizza war Qualitativ sehr gut und hat geschmeckt nur die Größe der Pizza hat mich an eine Kinderpizza erinnert😅. Service wäre top nur leider wurde die vorab getätigte Reservierung ignoriert🫣, Gäste die nicht reserviert hatten wurden ordentlich platziert, für uns gab es dann einenTisch direkt am Eingang und hinter der Werbung (siehe Foto).

War dreimal dort gewesen und drinnen sowie draußen einen Tisch gehabt, beides sehr schön. Tolle Lasagne und die Pizza hat einen "für mich" einmaligen Teig/Boden. Das Restaurant ist wirklich empfehlenswert.

Ein Restaurant mit einer guten Auswahl an Gerichten und nettem Personal. Man hat zudem auch einen wirklich schönen Blick auf die Schlei! Die Bruschetta-Pizza ist meine persönliche Empfehlung.

Leckeres Essen und super freundlicher Kellner!

Wir haben die Fischplatte für 2 Personen gegessen dazu Bratkartoffeln und Salzkartoffeln. Es war genau die richtige Entscheidung und hat super geschmeckt. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Weiter so 👍

Perfekter Zwischenstopp nach der Radtour! Wir haben hier nach einer ausgiebigen Radtour Halt gemacht, um uns mit einem Eis zu erfrischen. Die Kugel kostet 2 €, was für die Qualität absolut fair ist. Wir hatten jeweils zwei Kugeln und die Portionen waren wirklich riesig! Das Eis war total lecker und super erfrischend. Das Restaurant liegt ideal, um eine Pause einzulegen und sich von der Tour zu erholen. Eine klare Empfehlung – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren zum Kaffee Kuchen hier, die Speisen und Getränke waren OK, der Service darf gerne motivierter und eine Tick freundlicher sein.

Essen sehr gut, Eine Pizza war am Boden verbrannt. Wurde ohne Aufhebens ersetzt. Sehr gutes Restaurant und sehr gute Bedienung

Wir waren hier, um wieder mal ein leckeres Eis zu essen. Göttlich würde der Teufel sagen. 😃 Wer Eis liebt, sollte hier unbedingt sein Eis essen. Wir werden wieder hier einkehren, wenn wir in der Nähe sind.

Nach dem Lauf zwischen den Meeren haben wir hier gegessen. Sehr freundliches Personal hat uns sehr leckeres Essen serviert. Der Innenraum war leer und es lief das Champions League Finale. Das war unverhofft super! Es hat die richtige Mannschaft gewonnen (PSG). Das Restaurant kann ich absolut empfehlen! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir sind vorzüglich vom Servicepersonal versorgt worden. Sehr freundlich und auch humorvoll das Personal. Wir sind begeistert.

A restaurant at the harbor, the food was average.

We ordered a Baileys sundae but without whipped cream. Twice we were served the sundae with whipped cream. The third time we got a plain sundae with chocolate balls and vanilla (no ice cream advertised in the Baileys sundae, hazelnut and coffee), and no Baileys. The service was simply disappointing. And you should pay €10.50 for that?

The reservation was neither confirmed nor canceled. The delivery order was canceled after 20 minutes. Definitely not a good fit and not recommended.

The service was very friendly, and the food and drinks were served quickly. My lasagna was delicious. The tortellini alle panna, on the other hand, was subpar. There's definitely room for improvement with the tortellini. The ingredients should be reconsidered, and the sauce should be tastier. The price/performance ratio is OK.

One star is still too many! Ordered and paid for delivery on Sunday evening. Waited quite a while and then simply canceled the order! It couldn't be more unprofessional!

Unfortunately, the fried herring wasn't properly cleaned or washed, but only roughly gutted. There seems to be a certain systematic approach. Furthermore, the bill is based on at least two menu items, and when paying, it is cheekily claimed that the order was from the more expensive menu. Conclusion: Don't go there or check the bill first.

The food was generally good. However, the fried potatoes lacked flavor. Service was very friendly. The location was directly overlooking the harbor. Tables and passageways outside were quite narrow.

We had fish sandwiches, which are unfortunately only sold at the window counter. The service there should be improved. Since we also wanted to drink beer there, we were able to enjoy the sandwiches at our table. The fish was fresh and appetizingly presented. We'll see you again.

Very delicious homemade ice cream!

The staff were charming, witty, and welcoming. Not as uptight as you might expect. We felt very comfortable. The menu offers a bit of everything. The food more than exceeded our expectations. We haven't eaten this well in a long time.

My appetite for "Spaghetti Aglio Olio e Peperoncino with Shrimp" with garlic, cherry tomatoes, arugula, Parmesan, oil, and chili prompted me to order this dish. Since I could barely detect any Parmesan in the pasta, and everything, although spicy, tasted rather bland—except for the shrimp—I ordered some Parmesan and salt. The result was moderate. However, I had to pay an extra €1.50 for a small bowl of Parmesan. Just as my meal fell short of the standard Italian cuisine, the prices of €8.50 for the still mineral water (0.75 l) and €7.50 for a glass of Montepuciano (0.2 l) were just as out of step with this average restaurant. It's a good thing I wasn't charged for the salt as well...

We won't repeat the experiment. My seafood pasta was okay. My wife's fried plaice was subpar. The color of the plaice suggested it had been frozen for too long, which, on top of that, was dry, stringy, and overcooked. Furthermore, instead of the boiled potatoes we ordered, we got fried potatoes. No one cared. The full plate wasn't even questioned.

We had arranged to meet there at 6 p.m., sat outside, the drinks came quickly, and the service was very friendly. I ordered cannelloni. I hadn't had that in ages. It was nicely baked, with spinach on the side, absolutely delicious. The others were also thrilled with their calzone. We had a lovely evening, and since our vacation is just beginning, we'll definitely be back.

Riva de Mare offers fish sandwiches, ice cream, and hot fish dishes. Unfortunately, the overall impression was rather disappointing. The interior didn't seem particularly clean, which somewhat dampened one's appetite. The service was also lacking: I only received a receipt upon request – and it didn't list the fish sandwiches I ordered, but only various drinks. Furthermore, card payments aren't accepted, which might be inconvenient for many guests. The bottom line: The offering sounds good, but the execution and cleanliness leave a lot to be desired.

Located right on the water, under umbrellas on the promenade. The tagliatelle with spinach, prawns, broccoli, arugula, and garlic is fantastic. The entire team has a smile on their faces and looks after guests as if they were visiting friends. Highly recommended!

How this restaurant got its good reviews is a mystery to me. The service was attentive, but nothing more. The young man was very friendly, but also obviously very inexperienced. To begin with, the cutlery was missing; salt and pepper didn't even come to the table. The bruschetta I ordered was okay. The fish platter was okay too, but nothing was fried, everything was deep-fried. The rump steak in Gorgonzola sauce was unfortunately beyond description. Medium rare was more like almost cooked, the dish was tough, and the Gorgonzola sauce was some kind of ready-made stuff that had never seen real Gorgonzola. I returned it immediately, and at least I didn't get charged for it.

The pizza was really not good. I had the impression that the dough was pre-made convenience food. Tomato and mozzarella were placed on top and briefly baked. My companions' salami pizza and cannelloni were both drowning in cheese. Unfortunately, they didn't inform us from the start that only cash payments were accepted. When it came to the cashier, they reacted rudely.

We had lunch there today (8/25/2025). About an hour after eating a tuna salad, my mother experienced the typical symptoms of histamine shock, including flushing and nausea. This is typically the result of tuna being stored for too long or improperly. A report to the local health department will follow!

We received a friendly welcome and the menu was served right away. Drinks arrived quickly, and the wait for the food was normal. The food was delicious and plentiful. So if you're not necessarily looking to eat fish in Kappeln, you'll be well served here.

Furthermore, an ordered iced chocolate was initially forgotten and then brought upon request. Overall, the restaurant is okay, but there are much better restaurants. The fact that card payments aren't accepted is a complete no-go for me, given the location and the prices.

Nice, front-row location on the Schlei, but the food wasn't good at all. Lasagna was okay, but Tagliatelle di Manzo was unfortunately clearly made with canned mushrooms – you can tell – nicely evenly sliced ​​/ "rubbery in taste", not really great!! No card payments. Not an advantage these days. We won't be going back.

Unfortunately, the Riva del Mare in Kappeln didn't impress me. The tortellini alla panna definitely tasted like frozen food – bland in taste and lacking a freshness. They also had pieces of fried ham for visual appeal. I would have expected much more from an Italian restaurant, especially from the classics. Overall, the food lacked authenticity and quality, in my opinion. We've been here several times, but no dish has truly impressed us. In conclusion: Perhaps okay for a quick meal, but those who value fresh Italian cuisine will probably be disappointed.

By far the best pizza in the entire harbor

You can eat there; the food is good but very greasy. The waitress wasn't exactly the friendliest, and you shouldn't be yelling at employees right next to guests. 🤷 The ambiance was very nice.

The restaurant is lovely, located right on the harbor. The staff is attentive and friendly. The pizza was very good, albeit a bit expensive, but that's okay considering the location and the rent. The salmon was okay, but unfortunately a bit dry, and the fried potatoes were very greasy. It's better to opt for the Italian dishes; you can't go wrong with them.

You sit near the water. But that's the only positive thing. The service was neither intentional nor competent, and the food was almost inedible. The highlight, at almost 30°C: "Could we have a bowl of water for the dog?" "No, they'd all steal it..."

For ice cream to go, it's better to walk a little further to the galley. €2 for cheap supermarket ice cream, opened straight from the plastic container by the window, is simply too much.

After a boat tour, we stopped here for a bite to eat. The food was delicious, but we wanted to take our food with us afterward because our son, who is autistic, didn't have the energy to stay there due to sensory overload. The waiter said taking the food with us was no problem. However, they only packed up two dishes. The noodles were simply thrown away. Another waiter told me this and offered me more noodles, but I politely declined. I wasn't sure what kind of noodles I would have gotten. That really annoyed me. I had already paid and left quite a tip. But that was really outrageous! (To put it nicely)

The appetizer platter was absolutely delicious! The main courses weren't our cup of tea. The fried potatoes and the fish were very oily. The meat dish, however, was delicious.

We went to Riva del Mar in the evening without a reservation and managed to get a table. The food was good and plentiful! We had a variety of dishes (steak, pasta, fish), and everything was delicious. The service was attentive, and they were really busy that evening. The ambiance, however, could be improved: The benches/chairs aren't very comfortable, and the faux leather makes you sweat, even though it's rather chilly right now. The much-praised great view ends at the roof of the outer tents, so it's practically nonexistent. And while it's obviously quite loud when it's full, there's also some music playing in the background along with a flickering fire on the screen. That's unnecessary, in my opinion. But for the delicious food and friendly service, I would still go back, despite the not-so-nice ambiance.

There were 13 of us there at peak lunchtime. The restaurant was completely empty, yet they didn't allow us all to sit together, even though there was plenty of room. What's also not okay: children order a Fanta and, without asking, get the 0.4 liter instead of the 0.2 liter! That's not service, sorry. And the food? Well... We prefer to eat somewhere we really enjoy it and where you can pay by card.

Very friendly staff, great service, fast service, reasonable prices, and really good food! We spontaneously stopped by to eat here and didn't regret it. And like any good Italian restaurant, cash only. The ATM is only a few minutes away, though. Thank you. We'll eat with you again next time.

Almost five stars. The food is truly delicious, but the pizzas could still be improved. Oh yeah... I'm fine with raising the prices for pasta, but for heaven's sake, don't charge €1.50 for a contact lens covered in Parmesan cheese!!!

Again and again, everything is great

We ordered three fried fish with a bread roll to go. We waited quite a while, and the place was quiet. It was a shame. The fish was good, and the remoulade was delicious. It tasted like homemade.
