We were there as a large group – the reservation went perfectly, so I definitely recommend it if you're planning to come with a group. The service was very friendly and attentive! The bruschetta was okay, but could have used a bit more flavor – the tomatoes were a little bland. The pizza was also okay, though rather mild in flavor. It was quite good with a little chili oil, though. The pasta, on the other hand, was really delicious – everything was perfect! Overall, a pleasant evening with good service, but there was room for improvement in terms of taste – especially with the appetizers and the pizza.

A very appealing restaurant with tasty dishes. We were there on October 26th looking for a restaurant with wheelchair access (unfortunately, I also fall into this category due to medical malpractice). Anyway, my wife and I were standing in front of the entrance when, presumably, the owner himself came and opened the door for us as a matter of course, holding the door until we were safely inside. He then showed us to an easily accessible table with plenty of space. The rest of the staff also displayed this friendliness and consideration. The Italian cuisine was excellent. The Penne Tartufo was particularly good.

Three of us were there last night! We got our drinks and food quickly! Two pasta dishes were delicious and filling! But the salmon lasagna was a solid 6!!!! A tiny portion with 3!!! lasagna sheets and only a little salmon and spinach! Our complaint to the waiter didn't go down well. He wanted to pass it on to the kitchen. We would have expected an apology, perhaps in the form of dessert or something similar!!!

We ordered via Lieferando, and the food arrived quickly... The bread for the bruschetta was rock hard. The gnocchi Napoli... I don't know, it tasted like over-seasoned tomato paste from a tube, inedible...the lasagna was "edible," and the salad was just salad...the only thing that was really tasty was the homemade dressing. For those prices, you really expected more!

During peak season, a table reservation is highly recommended, as the restaurant is very popular. Payment is easily accepted by debit card, Visa, or Mastercard. Conclusion: An excellent Italian restaurant with first-class food, very friendly service, and a lively atmosphere – ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy Mediterranean cuisine in beautiful surroundings. Only the noise level when the place is full slightly spoils the overall impression.

The price-performance ratio here is absolutely not right. It's a shame, as there are no other restaurants nearby. So cooking your own food makes more sense.

I don't understand the positive review. The pizza was good and had high-quality toppings, but the crust was very bland. The lasagna was lukewarm. For the price, you'd expect something different.

The atmosphere is great, of course, but it's also the only restaurant nearby. The food is so-so. I wouldn't recommend pizza; it tastes like cake batter. Pasta is okay. I find it extremely expensive. My conclusion: if you're vacationing here, it's better to cook for yourself.

I've eaten there three times. I missed a pinch of salt in the pizza dough. The pasta tastes great. Friendly and fast service.

We had lunch at your restaurant today. The ambiance is modern; we sat inside. Unfortunately, it was quite loud and hectic, which made the atmosphere a bit uneasy for us. I had the pasta with strips of beef fillet for €22. The portion was relatively small, and the meat was disappointing – there were only five very small, rather chewy pieces, which didn't seem to have much of a fillet texture. The taste was okay, but we expected more for the price. My husband had the burger. It tasted good, but at €17 without any side dish, it was quite expensive. We live on Sylt, are familiar with the price range, and are willing to pay for quality – but then it has to be right. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here.

About the ice cream parlor: The ice cream 🍨🍦 was amazing! Highly recommended 😋✌🏼 I wasn't entirely satisfied with the service...even though it was very empty this afternoon, the staff seemed a bit uncoordinated and unmotivated. What a shame! ☹️🥺

Unfortunately, I can't recommend the only restaurant in Olpenitz. The two of us ate inside yesterday. The noise level was far too loud. The super-fast bustling of the service staff is far too hectic for me and not conducive to relaxing and enjoying ourselves. The bruschetta had no onions, garlic, or basil. Where would that flavor come from? The guests at the very next table confirmed our opinion after they had their bruschetta. My penne with spinach and salmon was bitter. It's a shame I won't eat here again.

The pizza was very good. Nice and airy with good toppings. The burger was also a good portion. The kids' pizza was also nicely topped and airy. The pasta was unfortunately a bit too soft for our taste. But everyone has different tastes. Unfortunately, no one came to ask if we wanted anything else to drink, even though our glasses were empty. Comfortable seating. We didn't have to wait long for our food either. Clearing up took a very long time, and unfortunately, we weren't asked if we wanted anything else. It's a shame. They could have made more money this way, whether it was for drinks or dessert.

Nice Italian restaurant - the pizza was especially great!

The offer advertised as a "large breakfast buffet" was unfortunately a complete disappointment. For a hefty €25, we expected a varied selection. Essentially, there was just a large table with a few spreads and a very limited selection. Bitter coffee was included, while cappuccino and the like would have cost an extra charge. The freshly assembled omelets – actually a nice idea – were unfortunately prepared on a griddle on which all sorts of things had been fried beforehand without being cleaned in between. Therefore, completely unsuitable for people with food intolerances or vegetarians. The service was also poor: Even though there were hardly any guests, empty plates weren't cleared away, and you didn't get the feeling that anyone was really caring. The bottom line is that the value for money here isn't right at all.

The pizza was almost perfect, and we had a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. The service was very friendly and funny. Highly recommended.

We ate here three times with friends during our vacation, and each time we were given a table for eight without any problems, even without a reservation. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome. There are plenty of heaters and blankets, so no one had to freeze. The portions are generous and filling, and there's nothing to complain about in terms of taste either – it's truly delicious. The ambiance is very nice, with a view of the marina. The restrooms are also clean. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the region and what's on offer. Highly recommended, 5 out of 5 stars.

Ciao Bella is the only restaurant in the Baltic Sea resort of Olpenitz. Due to its monopoly position, it's always quite busy. Unfortunately, the impression quickly arises that the focus here is more on quickly raking in as many guests as possible, rather than providing them with a pleasant and relaxing evening. Everything happens in rapid succession. Sitting inside, you can experience the stress firsthand. Unfortunately, the food is nothing special either. The pizza is average. The tortellini was too salty. But they charge steep tourist prices for it. If you absolutely have to eat out in Olpenitz, you can't avoid this place. If you can do without, you're better off cooking for yourself.

We decided to eat here spontaneously. We waited out the rain showers. We actually wanted to go out for dinner. We reserved a table through OpenTable, or rather rebooked. There were plenty of free tables. The staff was nice and friendly. The three pizzas were quite large. One star was deducted for the music; it was a bit too loud for us. It was still acceptable, but too loud for us. That's a matter of opinion, though. But we would come back if we were here again. The pizzas tasted very good. The base wasn't burnt, like at some other restaurants.

The service was very friendly. We were there on a sunny evening; the place was packed, and we had to wait over an hour for our food. The pizza was delicious, the dough light and crispy. But we would never order pasta there again. It was overcooked, and the Bolognese had no flavor (except for a bit of burnt flavor). So, pizza: YES. Pasta: NO!

Generally speaking, the food and ice cream are super delicious. The wait staff is also very friendly. Unfortunately, the rather uncoordinated staff behind the ice cream counter deserves a deduction. This sometimes leads to very long waits (over 30 minutes), even when some tables are empty. It's a shame. Perhaps the focus should be refocused here.

Unfortunately, never again! The food was really good, but the service was absolutely terrible. No cutlery was brought, and our requests for help were met with unfriendly responses. The waiter with the braided hair, in particular, was extremely disrespectful and made us feel unwelcome. Such behavior is unacceptable, no matter how good the pizza was. Spaghetti aglio e olio is not worth the money in terms of taste.

It was extremely good until last year, but now they seem to be using a different, very poor pizza dough that simply doesn't taste good. Such a shame! This was one of the best pizzas we've ever eaten, but now it's not even average anymore...

What arrived was delicious! Unfortunately, all instructions were ignored. Requests for changes to the food (different pasta), arrived 40 minutes before the scheduled delivery time, and a completely different pizza was delivered. The vegan pasta is highly recommended.

The atmosphere is nice, but I have an allergy and asked if we could change the dressing, which they agreed to. The food arrived an hour later, along with a second drink. To my surprise, a different dressing was poured over the mustard dressing. After I emphasized again that I am allergic to mustard, the food was replaced again; this time the nuts were missing and the chicken strips were actual chicken cubes. Our second drink never arrived. The bill came an hour and a half later, and after I immediately said that it couldn't be right, the waiter didn't respond. I went to the manager with the bill, and at that moment the waiter came and said, "I've already noticed that I've made a mistake." The second bill that I was presented with included the drink that we never got. The third bill was correct, no apology, we're talking about a difference of 25 euros. I was served, and the next day I had a stomach ache.

We went there four times during our stay in Olpenitz. The staff are very friendly and easily accommodate special food requests. Both the pizzas and pastas are delicious. The cocktails were also very good. The ice cream in the attached ice cream parlor was also extremely tasty. Reservations at the restaurant are advisable on weekend evenings. If you want to relax on the beach promenade, this is the perfect place.

Ciao is never again on the agenda for us here. On the first day of our holiday at the resort, after arriving, we didn't feel like driving to Kappeln for dinner, so we decided to go to Ciao Bella. The place was quite busy and well-visited. The service was attentive and friendly, and the view was beautiful. Our order was taken and the drinks arrived quickly. A show kitchen has the advantage that guests can see what's going on. As soon as the starter was finished, my wife's tuna salad, which was to be the main course, was already on the warm counter. It sat there for another 30 minutes until we had finished the starter and my main course was ready. In the meantime, people were constantly reaching over the salad and fiddling around with it, and ideally, they kept putting receipts on it. Because of these incidents, we sent the salad back and got a new one. The chef preparing it wasn't wearing rubber gloves and was reaching into all sorts of things, wiping his hands on his T-shirt every now and then, which wasn't particularly appetizing, but whatever, the new salad arrived. Unfortunately, the tuna didn't taste very good, which is why my wife didn't even eat half the salad. The bill came that night, when my wife started feeling very ill. Even a day later, it didn't get any better. We then went to see a doctor in Kappeln, who diagnosed her with food poisoning. My wife felt ill for four days of our vacation, and we couldn't enjoy the first part of it at all. My main course, pizza, was okay but a bit dry. We will never go to this place again.

Unfriendly staff who make inappropriate comments and behave totally inappropriately towards small children. Service could be better if they didn't take their bad mood out on guests who couldn't help it.

We were on vacation there and had food delivered. The driver was very nice and arrived relatively quickly. Unfortunately, the order was incomplete, which we only realized later due to the number of dishes. We called, and the missing food was delivered, so far so good... Now for the not-so-good part. The food was unfortunately subpar... no fresh ingredients. It was all convenience foods, and way too expensive for what it was! Unfortunately, we can't recommend the place at all.

We were looking forward to making a reservation at Ciao Bella from the very first day because the menu was so easy to read, and we weren't disappointed. From appetizers to dessert, everything was truly delicious. And we also found the homemade lemonade and cocktails to be really good. The shop is chic and clean, and the wait times are very short. The only minor drawback for me was the abundance of artificial flowers. But that's really no reason not to go.

I got a pizza to go. A pizza margarita for €15! It's got to be something really special. And it came in the form of a pizza that was really bad. Soggy, greasy, and simply way too expensive. The pizza rolls were also extremely unsightly and bad. I can't recommend it at all!

Can I recommend this place?! Definitely not! We initially sat outside. There were six of us (four adults and two children in strollers). So we couldn't miss it... Anyway, we sat there, and it certainly wasn't busy at all, but the waiter seemed to prefer chatting with his colleague or someone else rather than serving us. I then politely asked if we could place our order. The waiter then arrived and immediately apologized. We thought, well, everything's fine, it can happen. He took our drink orders and left. They arrived promptly, and we thought that would be quick. To our initial disappointment, we were each served a large drink. They didn't ask if we wanted a small or a large, they just offered the maximum... Not the done thing... Well, then our food orders were taken. We ordered pasta for my daughter and bruschetta for us up front, and the four pizzas came afterward. Pasta and bruschetta arrived relatively quickly, and then we had to wait... wait... wait... After about 25 minutes, I went in and asked the chef behind the counter if he happened to have four pizzas in the oven? He said no, and with a grin, he pointed to the four pieces of dough in front of him. Our pizzas were just being prepared... They said four minutes, but the four minutes turned into 15 minutes. When the food arrived, I thought, "Did you forget about us?" There was a clear answer, not just a "sorry"... Aside from the "sorry," nothing else happened. His boss or supervisor had apparently noticed and even partially slapped him down in front of us, but then accepted it. The food was delicious, but the service was a complete disaster! We didn't receive a discount or anything like that, which would have been appropriate in this case. The tip was accordingly low. The name Ciao bella fits the store... Not again, thank you, ciao!

Beautifully located restaurant on the promenade. We sat outside and were there for lunch. I estimate the restaurant was 50% full (off-season). Good selection of dishes, unfortunately, the prices are typically high, as is typical for holiday destinations. The service only gets two stars from us... A waiter who irritably mentions at every table that he's far too busy, very long waits (about 45 minutes) for standard dishes (pizza and pasta), and then eye-rolling when you want to pay and he has to come back to the table – sorry, that's totally unacceptable. What happens there when the summer holidays are underway? Well, ultimately, we gave it four stars because the quality of the food and the ambiance are perfectly fine.

Hi, we went to this pizzeria today with friends. The place was fully booked and I was allowed to charge my wife's e-scooter. We chose a seat. Some of the waiters seemed overwhelmed. We had to wait about 20 minutes until someone came to take our order. The young man apologized and took our order. Our drinks arrived immediately. Our friends' appetizers were also brought promptly. After another 35 minutes, my wife asked what our food was, as four other people who had arrived about 15-20 minutes after us were almost finished with their food. Just to let you know, we didn't have an elaborate order, just spaghetti and two pizzas. After 1.5 hours, we left without eating. Unfortunately, we couldn't judge whether the food was really as good as described here. However, the service definitely needs to be improved. The staff handled our request to leave in a friendly and confident manner.

€6.90 for a beer? That's where the comfort level ends for me. The food was good, but nothing justifies these completely overpriced prices. Besides, I don't feel very relaxed when the waiters are constantly frantically shouting to each other across the restaurant; that could certainly be done more discreetly.

We ate here with five people over the Whitsun weekend. Luckily, we had reserved a table the day before, otherwise we would have had to go home with rumbling stomachs.
