Very good service, even though it was fully booked. Quality good and prices still reasonable.

A cozy, small inn in the churchyard near the large St. Mary's Church from 1265, which is really inspiring! The kitchen is great and serves delicious, especially traditional dishes, as well as great freshly tapped Rostock beers. The staff is very attentive and customer focused. The price/performance ratio is also okay. We'd love to come back!

A very nice shop with extremely courteous service and delicious, traditional food. We were very satisfied. The restaurant was very busy and therefore it was a bit noisy, but all in all we can only recommend it.

Everything was great, I felt very comfortable with you recently. Cozy, chic, nice, clean, food delicious! In my opinion, the food was just too little in relation to the price. It felt like I had been given a children's or senior citizen's plate.

So I found it very comfortable. As a true insider I can recommend it. So we had the knight pan and I was very satisfied. We even got a good table for the fact that we spontaneously attended the light week with 4 of us.

Today I went to the liqueur factory in Rostock to eat a delicious Hamburger schnitzel and was so disappointed (the schnitzel was completely overcooked and fried black and the fried potatoes had no taste and were partly raw). But I was in the mood for schnitzel so I stopped in here! Great service - delicious tap beer and a Hamburger schnitzel with fried potatoes which was really excellent. The schnitzel was very tender and the fried potatoes were fried very well and seasoned well - really great!!! I will definitely stop by here again

We were there spontaneously in the evening and were very lucky to get our own table, which had just become available. Reservations are therefore recommended. The food was great and friendly service. If we are in Rostock again we will come back.

We came here spontaneously for lunch and absolutely loved it. Ambience is very well thought out, service is quick and courteous and food was also very tasty, large portions and hot. The food may need to be seasoned a bit, but for me that is a positive point as tastes are different. Can only recommend a visit here.

Ritter Runkel is somewhat hidden in a very beautiful backyard that can be reached via a side street. The restaurant is beautifully and very comfortably furnished, modern with knight accessories. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful staff. You should visit Ritter Runkel if you want to eat out in Rostock.

Fandt stedet ved søgning på nettet. Ejer og tjener ubehagelig person virker frastødende. Lægger selv procenter i drikkepenge på regning. Maden middelmådig. Vi fik ikke drikkevarer som bestil og gjorde opmærksom på fejlen, men blev afvist at det var det vi havde sagt. Lokalet tilholdsted for beboere.

The food, schnitzel, wasn't that great. But very dry. Fried potatoes and sweet potatoes have almost no salt. What didn't work for me at all was to charge another 1 euro for mayonnaise. For me, that's part of a dish that costs almost 20 euros.

Today we were tempted by a sign in the main shopping street and the good reviews to go out to eat in the restaurant at 8 p.m. The courtyard looks cozy and due to a brief downpour, half of the tables were empty. There were also two empty tables inside. After the first waitress completely ignored us, after a while we were able to ask the second waitress for a table after she had brought the menus to a table. The flippant answer was that there was nothing left to eat here today and that the kitchen was at capacity (noticeably, the restaurant was half empty and there was apparently still a menu at one table before). It may well be that the kitchen no longer delivers, but on a Friday almost 3 hours before closing and in the tone of voice that suggests that you as a customer are not necessarily welcome here and, after some thought, leads us to come to the conclusion: I would not recommend this restaurant.

Friendly, courteous and attentive staff. Very pleasant atmosphere in a small courtyard remote from the hectic city center, beautiful decoration that matches the name. Portion size completely sufficient. We had fried fish and the Hamburger Schnitzel. The breading on the fried fish was a bit too crispy for us. The breading on the schnitzel could have been seasoned a bit more to our liking. The remoulade for the fried fish and the seasoned meat were very tasty. We'd love to come back :-)

The Ritter Runkel Reiner Stüwe is a real pleasure! The food is not only delicious, but is served by friendly staff who always have a joke on their faces. The ambience is beautiful and invites you to enjoy a quiet break in a historic courtyard. The small but fine menu contains many delicious surprises. All in all, it is a place where you like to take your time and just linger.

I barely sat down because the seats were almost full. I had Schwein (pork) steak in mushroom sauce and beef cream stew, which was like an appetizer, and it was really delicious. The pork is not dry, the juices come out when you chew it, and the taste is similar even when it cools down. The mushroom sauce was a little too salty for me, but it comes separately so you can adjust the seasoning. I chose roasted potatoes as a side, and the potatoes were delicious too. The beef tasted like braised cream, but it was delicious. The Rostocker beer was delicious and the owner was friendly, so it was an enjoyable meal.

Super tasty food, good prices (especially for the drinks), a very nice atmosphere and the service is first class. Once again a big thank you to the great service today and huge praise to the chef. It's been a long time since I've had such good German cuisine. ♥️🫶🏻 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have never experienced anything like this! Reserved for 2 people on April 1st, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. and everything went well. Service was very friendly, order was taken (schnitzel with fried potatoes), a beer and a wine. Drinks were brought really promptly, everything was good up to this point! Then the big thing, the food was brought to the table in less than 10 minutes, less than 10 minutes!!!!!!!!!! The fried potatoes were totally over salted, the schnitzels were dry, so not freshly prepared! Very very worrying!! We had to do it all evening! The hygiene should really be checked here, because something like that doesn't work at all!!!!!! Never again, thank you very much!!!!!

I had dinner there with my fiancée, brother and husband. There is a large selection of dishes, the service was very good and the food came after about 15 minutes despite the restaurant being full.

Waren am 01.04.2024 hier, hatten einen Tisch für 2 Personen zu 19.00 Uhr reserviert. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und die Getränke wurden sehr schnell serviert. Dann, nach gefühlten 10 Minuten kamen unsere Schnitzel! So etwas haben wir noch nicht erlebt! Das Fleisch total trocken, die Bratkartoffeln total versalzen und verbrannt! Das hat mit Küche nichts mehr zu tun! Nie nie wieder, selbst die Webseite hat falsche Preise, nie wieder!!!!!!!!

Very nicely decorated, cozy shop. The only service person who worked in the store was very nice and had everything well under control. The food was delicious. We had Grandma's Knight and the Burg Schnitzel. As a side dish we each had fried potatoes, which were great. The schnitzel wasn't one of the best I've ever eaten, but it was solid and tasty. Next time I would try fish. It looked very good and the guests at the next table seemed very happy with it. We parked in the Lange Straße city car park. Very good, large and cheap parking garage, which was quickly reached on foot. I would recommend making a reservation because the store was very full and, according to my local companion, it is the same at other times.

This restaurant is named after a character from the GDR comic series Mosaik. But you can only find out about this if you ask about the history of the store. Nowhere do you see any excerpts from the comic that depicts the knight. Nope, just the knight's silhouette can be seen everywhere without any reference. We only drank one beer, found the waitress really friendly and the atmosphere cold and squat.

First of all, the food came very quickly and quickly, but not hot but warm, probably because the plate was cold. The food in the pan was piled on top of each other, making it difficult to eat and cut the meat, broccoli was overcooked and the fried potatoes were partly black while the onions were partly still raw. However, it was flavorful yet edible. The staff was actually quite friendly - but the smile was fake and only available when close to the customer... After the smoking break, both service employees didn't wash their hands before continuing to work. The ambience is beautifully furnished in a knightly manner to match the name, but when the dining area, which is quite small, is full, it gets very loud.

Very friendly and courteous service - food very appealing and consistently very good. Quiet outdoor area and already designed interior. It's best to reserve in advance - especially on cold days when the outside area is not accessible. Toilet always clean and well maintained.

Everything here is 100% right for me... from the incredibly tasty drinks and food, to the excellent, friendly and courteous service from the two innkeepers, to the ambience... Due to the good reviews on the Internet, we wanted to take our guests from Bonn today, December 28th. Have lunch at the “Ritter Runkel” restaurant around 2:10 p.m. We entered the restaurant and asked for a table for 4 people and were very rudely shrugged off by the lady at the counter, saying that everything was full. When we asked if we could come back a little later, we were told no, orders for the evening were already starting! Mind you, it was just after 2 p.m., so probably some time before the evening business began. There's nothing to be said against a full restaurant, but there is something to be said against rude staff who clearly don't want any guests. That's not the way to go and we were ashamed in front of our guests because nothing like that had ever happened to us in Bonn. Luckily we were able to eat very well in the “Hopfenkeller” at the hop market. Dettmann family

I have been to this restaurant several times and have always been satisfied. But this time I got ripped off with a friend. We were charged €60 for 10 x 4cl Ramazzotti. According to the menu, a Jägermeister 2cl costs €2. The Ramazzotti isn't even on the menu. And so that it is not noticeable, 20x2cl Ramazzotti €3 was written on the bill. If this is your new business model, the lights will soon be out for you. I hope that's not the case.

Ich fand es super... Klein und fein und urgemütlich... Meiner Oma(86) hat es auch sehr gut gefallen!!! Ideal auch der Tisch für 6 Personen, der weit genug weg war, um andere nicht zu stören-aber doch zentral... und für Oma war die Toilette auch noch erreichbar... Und auch viel zu sehen 👀deko top!! Ich war zum ersten Mal beim Ritter Runkel, der Service war wirklich hervorragend.. So etwas bekommt man in Rostock wirklich selten geboten.. Sehr zuvorkommend.. Das Ambiente war dem Namen entsprechend.. Auch ganz angenehm.. Das Essen war auch sehr gut .. Alles perfekte… Ein veganes Essen auf der Karte habe ich vermisst.. alles andere war perfekt.. vor allem der sehr zuvorkommende Service

Die Qualität des Bieres trägt definitiv zur Gesamterfahrung bei und verleiht dem Mahl einen angenehmen Begleiter. Ein Highlight des Restaurants ist zweifelsohne der wunderschöne und entspannte Innenhof. Dieser lädt dazu ein, sich zurückzulehnen, zu genießen und die Atmosphäre zu genießen. Wir lieben dieses Restaurant und essen dort fast immer ,wenn wir in Rostock sind. Sowohl im Biergarten in dem wunderschönen Innenhof, als auch im Restaurant ist ein tolles Ambiente. Die Gaststätte wird ihrem Namen gerecht, Ritterdeko sogar bis zum stillen Örtchen.Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt.Der Service ist super, man wird schnell und freundlich bedient. Die Preise sind angemessen, außerhalb der Saison gibt es eine Mittagskarte zum kleinen Preis. Das Essen ist sehr lecker alles in allem ein echter Geheimtipp.

Kehren immer wieder bei einem Rostockbesuch dort ein. Nette Bedienung und Preis-Leistung stimmt auch.
