Super nice restaurant and super friendly staff... The food is always very well prepared... and tastes great... Today I ordered a steak with mushrooms and fried potatoes. The meat was impossible to swallow... tendons and adhesions. Even chewing was difficult... with steaks like these and a price tag of almost €30, you'd expect more... just point this out to the seller when you're shopping... I'd still love to come back with my family... the chef can't see inside the meat...

We were guests at Ritter again after a long absence. There were nine of us, including four children. The service was very attentive and prompt. A wrongly delivered drink was noticed before we could, and a replacement was brought immediately. We ordered various dishes from the menu, and all were consistently delicious. Small adjustments or requests for changes to ordered dishes were happily accommodated. We would be happy to return and thank you for a wonderful stay.

Delicious food, just like in a brewery. Hearty, savory, and delicious. Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere round out a positive visit. You'll be happy to come back here. 👍

Friendly staff, delicious food, and tasty beer (Ritterbier). Wednesdays are schnitzel day, so reservations are recommended. We love it there and will definitely be back.

Whenever I'm in Langenfeld, I have to stop at Ritter. They have good beer and good food.

I was here again for Schnitzel Day and treated myself to the Hawaiian schnitzel with fried potatoes on the terrace. It was good. The staff was friendly and, given the stress, no wonder on a special offer day.

A fixture in Langenfeld's city center, it's impossible to imagine life without it. You can go to Ritter for almost any occasion, and the food and drinks are excellent, and the prices are excellent. The waiters are very friendly and know their job. We love coming here, whether with family or friends.

Depending on the season, like the asparagus menu recently, we've been there several times and have never had to wait for it. The staff is also very friendly.

100% satisfied was only 3 out of 10, the hamburger was very good and the schnitzel. The rest wasn't such a hit. Had asparagus with potatoes and Schmitz. The potato looked like an asparagus that was too thick and tasted to be left alone. In another dish, the fried potatoes had more of the warmth of a potato salad. The turkey salad was much better. The menu was reduced because of Corona. But then you should give 100%. We didn't complain, grandma invited us for her birthday

Die Atmosphäre war sehr gut, aber das Essen eine Katastrophe. Das Fleisch des Sauerbratens war schwarz verbrannt und die Souce zum Salat war vollkommen geschmacklos.

Very friendly and professional waiters are rare these days. Very honest German cuisine! Food came quickly even though we ordered different dishes. Big compliments to the kitchen and the service there. Good selection of beer. Here you can get the Alt aufm Kölschdevkel, which is appropriate for the “beer limit”. Is and remains a traditional Langenfeld restaurant! Always here again 🫡

Leckerer vielfältiger Mittagstisch. Bedienung freundlich und zuvorkommend. Jederzeit gerne wieder. Für in der Woche mittags sehr gut besucht.

We were captivated by the view from outside. A touch of rustic, chivalrous and different. We really wanted to eat there. Ultimately, the view of the front area was the only special thing. Because the service really left a lot to be desired. Very distant posture and hardly able to make eye contact. There was no “thank you” for the tip either. When we then think about food, all we are left with is disappointment. Dry, bland and rather tasteless: you can eat it, but you can also leave it alone. It was definitely not for us.

On Saturdays after shopping, go to Ritter in Langenfeld and pick out a delicious dish from the lunch menu. Plus a delicious little fox. All in a nice atmosphere and friendly staff

I can't understand the good reviews. Anyone who sells a pork knuckle as a knuckle can't be a chef. Underground. The one star is for the nice waiter. We won't be coming back.

Just awesome. Great lunch menu. It starts at €9.90, including meat, side dish and salad. Fantastic ambience, inside and out. The service (men only) was really top. Attentive, fast, seamless replenishment of drinks guaranteed. The food itself, brutal. Like mother, really. Nothing out of a can or bag. Prices vary greatly between lunch and the classic menu. Really a really great place. We have been there several times with 2-6 people and the food has always been very good. The menu is not overloaded and still has something for every taste. The service was always very friendly and quick. The lunch specials are also great and for a small price. Absolutely top value for money. It's wonderful to sit outside. Today I had a brief circulatory problem and so I asked for the toilet. The gentleman from the staff was very attentive and asked directly if we needed help. Everything was fine again quickly, but we found it very attentive that the staff immediately offered help. In general, the gentleman with the glasses was very friendly. We will be back!

I now order the same dish several times. Unfortunately, it doesn't always taste equally good and the portions, especially when it comes to meat or fish, are not always the same size. Of course you always pay the same🤣 But the staff is super friendly and it's also nice and clean.

In my opinion, clearly not recommended. The burgers were very dry and the patties were burnt. We can't talk about Angus meat here, it's more like something from a discounter. Everything on the grill plate was bone dry and well cooked. The steak was inedible in taste. Overall a disappointing experience. 1/10 I can't recommend it.

Habe schon des öfteren hier zu Mittag gegessen, und bin bisher nicht enttäuscht worden. Die Mittagskarte bietet sehr viel Spielraum für Hunger, Geschmack und Geldbeutel. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Lokal ist auch gut besucht. Saubere Toiletten gibt es auch noch. Empfehlung. Gerne wieder.

Der Service ist klasse, Preise sind auch ok. Leider war mein Nackensteak mit Pfefferrahmsoße und Pommes total durchgebraten und sehr zäh. Die Pfefferrahmsoße hatte drei Pfefferkörnerbund und schmeckte überhaupt nicht nach Pfeffersoße. Die Pommes lagen in der Soße waren teilweise alt und matschig dadurch, dass sie in dieser lagen. Das Fleisch war so über den Punkt.... Sehr schade.... Die vegetarischen Bandnudeln waren laff und schwammen in Öl. Paprika war sehr bitter....Wir waren sehr enttäuscht, weil man überhaupt nicht auf unsere Kritik einging....

Was sollen wir sagen, einfach perfekt!!Spontan eine halbe Stunde vor Küchenschluss eingekehrt,super netter Kellner.Wir könnten uns kaum entscheiden was wir von all den leckeren Gerichten nehmen sollten.Als wir gewählt und bestellt hatten, dauerte es keine 30min und wir hatten unser Essen auf dem Tisch. Es war super lecker und sollten wir wieder in der Gegend sein kommen wir definitiv wieder.
