Rita’s Restaurant & Bar in Nürtingen

We had a delicious meal and a wonderful bottle of wine. The price/quality ratio and quantity were excellent (inexpensive and generous portions). It's just strange that there were no other guests. They're missing out, unfortunately...

Update: The memory card has shrunk considerably, and you can now also order via Lieferando. Unfortunately, the service has deteriorated significantly over the past year, or rather, it's completely gone. I ordered a shawarma to go in person, and they told me it would be ready in 5 minutes. After 10 minutes, the spit wasn't even turned on, and the server hadn't moved towards the kitchen to take the order. Not even when I asked. They were just playing on their phones. When I still hadn't received my food after 20 minutes (of course!), I told them they could keep it and left. They hadn't even started! 😡 It's also incredibly convenient that the server speaks (almost) no German. I'm furious. It's not like this is my first time here. Unfortunately, I can't rate the food... I didn't order any. My previous review is completely irrelevant and only serves as a comparison to how things used to be. Wonderful, authentic Syrian food. Finally, freekeh and kubbe are back! The atmosphere is a bit chilly, but the warmth of the staff and the cook more than makes up for it. The dining room is completely renovated; everything is new and clean. For a starter, I had tabbouleh (parsley salad), and my boyfriend had deep-fried, filled puff pastry (I've forgotten the name, sorry). Afterwards, we each ordered mansaf (rice, lamb, freekeh). How reckless! The food was fantastic, but the portions were huge. And so delicious! I had half packed up to take home, and it was even better the next day. I'm deducting one point for the exterior. No menu board, no opening hours listed... That's a real shame, because this restaurant more than deserves a long life. But how are they supposed to attract walk-up customers like that? When my boyfriend and I go back (as soon as possible), we'll work our way through the rest of the menu. I'm already looking forward to the fattoush.

An absolutely fantastic restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious and prepared with love; every dish was a delight. The service was first-class; extremely friendly, attentive, and professional. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. The quality of the food is particularly noteworthy; it's simply fantastic! There's really nothing that needs improvement. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Very delicious and authentic cuisine. The hummus and beetroot salad were fresh and well-seasoned. The main course, shawarma, was very tasty – the meat was very juicy. The price/performance ratio was excellent. Our friends were also very satisfied. We'd be happy to go again!

I arrived outside of business hours and was still served great food. It tastes absolutely delicious and is perfectly seasoned. Definitely give it a try—it's worth it and has a great atmosphere! Incredibly friendly owners!

Our food was freshly prepared. That's why we had to wait a little longer, but the food was fresh and not prepared and stale. All of our dishes were delicious and arrived still nice and hot. We particularly liked the rice. When we asked, we were given a large portion of curry ketchup and mayo. Later we got a passion fruit mojito and an Oreo milkshake on the house. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Nice music plays in the background at a comfortable volume.

Very nice employees. However, the reviews on the Internet have nothing to do with my impressions during the visit. I had a mixed plate to take away. Fast food, I personally didn't like any of the components. A friend didn't think the food was good either. Unfortunately we threw the rest in the trash. I find it difficult to offer such low quality food after such positive advertising. Even though everyone was really nice.

Those who already know Rita's restaurant must say it's a good place, because I wasn't here, but at a resident next door.

Enjoyed a delicious meal in the evening sun on the terrace next to a small stream, the sound of which, together with the sound of the birds, calms you down. In short, a nice restaurant with a varied menu! Thanks for the delicious food! 😃🤤

The food was pretty good, but never order any of the hummus!!! Taste quite smokey and mushy. The waiters couldn't speak a word of German and never understood what we wanted. The atmosphere was really good, a bit cold, everyone was sick the next day. The toilets were on the 2nd floor, where it was very dark and smelled of smoke.🤮 If you understand the language (in this case Syrian) be free and go, to all the Germans out there, stay at home!

Finally there is a place in Nürtingen to eat Syrian food. We tried our way across the map. Everything was super tasty and tasted like home. We will be back definitely.

Don't be received by this restaurant as you pass by; This Syrian cuisine establishment is truly exceptional. The flavors of the food are amazing, and the service strives to make you feel welcome. While the interior space could be improved, you can feel the dedication of the hardworking staff. This restaurant deserves much love from both Nürtingen residents and visitors. I'm thoroughly impressed by the delicious food and eagerly anticipate my next visit. What a scam when you pass by this restaurant; This Syrian food restaurant is truly outstanding. The food tastes great, and the service goes out of its way to make you feel welcome. While the interior space could be improved, you can feel how hard they are working. This restaurant needs a lot of love from people who live here in Nürtingen and others. I am absolutely blown away by the delicious taste of the food and can't wait to go back soon.

Het eten was echt lekker. De personeel was erg vriendelijk en gaven goed service. We kregen de eten heerlijk vers en warm geserveerd, na de tijd konden we genieten van een lekker cocktail. De sfeer in het restaurant was erg gezellig. Ik kom zeker weer terug! Echt een aanrader.

Ich würde gerne empfehlen. Essen war sehr lecker. Bedienung ist schnell und freundlich.
