A place where you feel at home is simply beautiful.

Unfortunately, my "veal medallion" was thinly sliced, dry-fried, sometimes tough slices of meat, the garlic potatoes were without garlic, everything was lightly seasoned, the mushroom sauce was, in my opinion, not homemade, and overall there was very little on the plate. The value for money wasn't right.

We thought we would get a quick meal but we struck gold. They have lunch buffet every Sunday and holidays. Limited options but all the food being served are delicious and fresh. The atmosphere is ok but who cares when the price is so cheap and the food is so good.

Discovered by chance, now always a stopover on the way through. Absolutely retro!

The positive reviews piqued my interest, and expectations were even exceeded: - the beef roulade was excellent, just like my mother's, - the service was exceptionally hospitable, - the ambiance was rustic, simple, and unpretentious in the best sense of the word, and - the price was very reasonable. Conclusion: If I ever pass through Genthin again, a stop there is a must.
