We were out and about near Genthin again today. A round of geocaching in the woods was nice weather. After we were done, we rewarded ourselves with a stop at the Fienerode Restaurant. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly lady. A really nice atmosphere, fair prices. The schnitzel with fried potatoes was delicious, truly good home cooking. We'd love to come back. Wishing you all the best.

We thought we would get a quick meal but we struck gold. They have lunch buffet every Sunday and holidays. Limited options but all the food being served are delicious and fresh. The atmosphere is ok but who cares when the price is so cheap and the food is so good.

Lindenstraße 10The positive reviews piqued my interest, and expectations were even exceeded: - the beef roulade was excellent, just like my mother's, - the service was exceptionally hospitable, - the ambiance was rustic, simple, and unpretentious in the best sense of the word, and - the price was very reasonable. Conclusion: If I ever pass through Genthin again, a stop there is a must.
