Today we were out and about again near Genthin. If the weather is nice, a round of geocaching in the woods. After we were finished, we went to the Fienerode restaurant as a reward. Were warmly welcomed by the nice lady. Really nice atmosphere, fair prices. The schnitzel with fried potatoes tasted wonderful, really good home cooking. We'd love to come back. Wish you all the best.

We thought we would get a quick meal but we struck gold. They have lunch buffet every Sunday and holidays. Limited options but all the food being served are delicious and fresh. The atmosphere is ok but who cares when the price is so cheap and the food is so good.

Brandenburger Str. 96Unfortunately, my "veal medallion" was thinly sliced, dry-fried, sometimes tough slices of meat, the garlic potatoes were without garlic, everything was lightly seasoned, the mushroom sauce was, in my opinion, not homemade, and overall there was very little on the plate. The value for money wasn't right.

Lindenstraße 10The positive reviews piqued my interest, and expectations were even exceeded: - the beef roulade was excellent, just like my mother's, - the service was exceptionally hospitable, - the ambiance was rustic, simple, and unpretentious in the best sense of the word, and - the price was very reasonable. Conclusion: If I ever pass through Genthin again, a stop there is a must.
