Nettes Personal Nette Location Die Pizza , sorry aber eine der schlechtesten in meinem Leben. Der Teig ist geschmacklich fad und zäh . Auch der Belag konnte mich nicht überzeugen. Insgesamt nett , aber Pizza nein .

2025 haben wir hier ein Rumsteak gegessen. Das war sehr lecker. Dieses Jahr, 2026, war es leider nicht ganz so zart. Wir waren zu 8 Personen und es gab leider nur eine Gemüseplatte. Das war zu wenig. Auf den Bildern sieht man einmal die Gemüseplatte, die wir uns zu 8 Personen teilen mussten und einmal Kalbfleischscheiben mit Pfeffersauce. Auf jedem Teller gab es noch etwas Spargel. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wahrscheinlich wieder und hoffen, dass es so gut wieder ist wie 2026.

Das Restaurant ist schön gelegen im Zentrum von Krefeld Hüls. Der Außenbereich ist ansprechend, man kommt sich bei schönem Wetter vor wie im Urlaub. Innen ist es allerdings recht Altbacken. Wir wurden am Anfang fünfmal gefragt, was wir zu trinken möchten, die Organisation dort ist offensichtlich nicht so dolle. Gekommen sind die ersten Getränke dann auch echt spät. Ansonsten war der Service aber gut. Wir hatten Nudeln mit Gambas und Lasagne. Beides war sehr fade und einfachster Machart. Ein anderes Gewürz als Salz scheint man dort nicht zu kennen. Wir verstehen die guten Rezensionen zum Essen nicht.

Sehr gutes Essen und super freundliches Personal

Wir können das Essen nicht bewerten, da wir nur 2 Heißgetränke und Tiramisu hatten. Draußen sitzt man sehr schön mit Blick auf Kirche und Marktplatz. Sehr freundlicher Service und Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato und Tiramisu waren sehr gut und schön angerichtet. Ideal für eine Pause während unserer Radtour.

Leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung, die wir so nicht erwartet hätten. Wir hatten reserviert und wurden vom Kellner gebeten, uns einen Platz selbst auszusuchen, da viele Tische frei waren. Als ich darauf scherzhaft antwortete, dass wir dann “alle Tische” nehmen, entgegnete er mir wortwörtlich: Ich sehe nicht danach aus, als könnte ich 12.800 € für die Tische bezahlen. Das war umso unverständlicher, da ich angemessen gekleidet war und auch äußerlich gepflegt aufgetreten bin. Worauf genau er sein Urteil basiert hat, bleibt sein Geheimnis. Ein solcher Kommentar gegenüber einem zahlenden Gast, noch dazu vor der gesamten Gruppe, ist schlicht unprofessionell und verletzend. Wir haben uns dennoch hingesetzt, Wasser getrunken und die Situation erst mal verarbeitet. Als wir anschließend sagten, wir möchten bezahlen und gehen, war der Kellner plötzlich überrascht, als hätte er nicht verstanden, was sein Kommentar ausgelöst hatte. Auf seine Frage, was denn los sei, habe ich ihm klar gesagt: Er weiß nicht, wie viel Geld ich habe, und maßt sich trotzdem ein Urteil über mich an. Statt sich aufrichtig zu entschuldigen, diskutierte und versucht den Vorfall als Spaß darzustellen und mir zu erklären, ich hätte es falsch verstanden. Wir haben das Lokal verlassen, ohne zu essen. Der Chef zeigte zwar Gesprächsbereitschaft, doch der Schaden war angerichtet. Ein Gast sollte sich willkommen fühlen, unabhängig davon, wie er aussieht.Leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung, die wir so nicht erwartet hätten.

Absolut überbewerteter Italiener typisch Hüls.

Essen war soweit okay. Aber da wo wir saßen viel zu kalt. Es zog hier , da es in der Nähe des Eingangs war. Leider mussten wir dann mit Jacke weiter essen. Hat dem Personal auch nicht sonderlich interessiert. Schade, hier nicht wieder.

Essen war Okay,Ambiente soweit ging es , was aber ein No Go war für uns das wir in der Nähe der Tür gesessen haben wo es voll gezogen hat wenn die Tür aufging so das wir unsere Jacken angezogen haben das geht nartührlich nicht werden hier nicht wieder essen

Heute mit Glück noch einen Tisch telefonisch bekommen. Der Service der jungen Männer war freundlich bemüht wenn auch sie vermutlich wenig verstehen . Die Lasagne und die Rindfleisch Suppe war okay ! Das Lasagnitelle sah gut aus war völlig versalzen und Zuviel Pfeffer oder ähnliches Gewürz! Meine Bemerkung an eine jungen Kellner über das Essen wurde von der kassierenden Person nicht angesprochen. Verbesserungswürdig !

This is an upscale restaurant located in a historic building on a small but charming market square in Hüls. The Italian family who runs it are excellent hosts. As a regular customer who regularly visits with his family, he is always satisfied with both the food and the service. Value for money: Very good To those who moan and complain!!! If you can't or don't want to afford a restaurant with this ambiance for various reasons, perhaps it's better to stay at home and/or cook for yourself. Drinks, especially wine, are cheaper there, or the food is cheaper at a snack bar... For everyone else, this restaurant is a very good choice!

The best restaurant in all of North Rhine-Westphalia. Really good food, everything fresh and absolutely delicious, fine dining. The house is very old and full of soul. The staff are relaxed and very welcoming. The dishes are just right, the drinks are excellent, and the whole experience is an unforgettable one. This wasn't our first time there, and we were absolutely thrilled every time.

For years, Santa Lucia has been a destination for excellent Italian food. Whether pizza, pasta, or meat, everyone will find something they like here. The desserts are also delicious and highly recommended. The service is pleasant and friendly. The ambiance is cozy and quaint, and even a single person feels at home there. In summer, you can enjoy dining outside with a wonderful view of the church. The prices are comparable to other restaurants. Since the restaurant is very popular, reservations are definitely recommended.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. Pizza was below average. The rest of the dishes were also rather average. The atmosphere was okay. They weren't thrilled that we wanted to sit inside. Since the table offered inside wasn't an option for us due to a bee infestation, the atmosphere became somewhat awkward. The waiter talked a lot. It was funny at first, but over time, it became rather annoying. We ate, drank, paid quickly, and were actually quite glad to be out of there. It's a shame; it used to be the top spot in town. Now it's just average.

It's great that something like this still exists. Santa Lucia is a first-class Italian restaurant in a superb location. We sat outside and were immediately served very friendly. The food was delicious.

We met up with four former colleagues at Santa Lucia. The table we had reserved by phone days in advance couldn't be found under the name provided, so we were seated outside at one of several free tables. Our orders were taken promptly, and the waiter always served us with a (friendly) rhyming comment. Each of us had two drinks, and we had ordered three pasta dishes and one pizza (not just the cheapest one!). Except for one of the pasta dishes, the other two were rather bland and tasteless, and the pizza, unfortunately, was subpar. Presumably, an industrially produced dough was quickly topped with the ingredients and put in the oven... in any case, it wasn't fresh yeast dough! As the waiter was clearing the table, when only two more drinks were ordered, we were told, in a roundabout way but again in rhyme, that this probably wasn't enough to justify staying there any longer. When the drinks we had ordered weren't served, we asked for the bill. After paying the bill, we still didn't leave quickly enough because the waiter said he had to comment again, in rhyme, of course. My husband and I used to love eating there often – but this was the last time. I absolutely can't recommend the restaurant anymore!

We had dinner there for our birthday. Beautiful from the outside, rather old-fashioned inside mixed with Italian cuisine. The service was friendly, quick and accommodating. The main courses were not a highlight in terms of taste, especially for the price. The saddest part was the pizza, which wouldn't have been good even for a frozen pizza! The food was ready at the table after just 9 minutes. This also raises questions given the full restaurant. The truffle pasta didn't taste like truffles and was unfortunately reminiscent of stock powder. We cannot understand the good reviews on Google. On Tripadvisor it is 3.8 out of 5 stars. We can only explain the phenomenon with previously good cuisine and the “village phenomenon” (lack of alternatives). For us it was a unique visit.

Very cozy restaurant on the Hülser butter market. All dishes were excellently prepared and very tasty! Absolutely fair price. The service was attentive, quick and friendly!

A big recommendation! Great food, with very fair prices and nice, accommodating staff! The restaurant is run by a traditional Italian family, where you immediately feel welcome and comfortable ;) The decor is warm and underlines the charm of the house with typical Italian decor and pictures from home. You can tell that the food is prepared with love and skill! That's why we always like to go here ;)

Maybe an alternative to herb butter? I can also say that, at my request, dishes have always been able to be adapted using the ingredients available. For example, there is no official children's menu, but dishes can be ordered in children's portions.

When staying in rehab, it is highly advisable to reserve a table on Sundays! The first hall towards the market is already occupied, we are the first to occupy the next room, very nice old atmosphere with large, beautiful paintings on the wall, very impressive! Friendly, nice waiter, drinks came quickly! There was fresh baguette and herb butter from the house and we shared an antipasti platter for €20 it could have been a little more! The pizza that followed was a bit disappointing, the toppings were good, but the base was hard, you could hardly cut it, it wasn't burnt, it almost tasted like ready-made pizza! It's hard to believe that it always tastes like this - maybe we were unlucky - the pasta dishes at the neighboring tables looked much better! The service could be a little more attentive and ran past our empty glasses several times but all the tables were occupied and after a quick wave the refills came quite quickly! It was still a nice evening!

I ate a beef fillet with red wine jus for €38.50. The food was tasty, but the plate looked rather bland. This can be done more beautifully. According to my understanding, it is not enough to put five small potatoes on the plate and a few beans. That's a little too thin.

Even though Pizza Hawaii wasn't on the menu, I got one. However, I was full after eating half the pizza, but the other half was packed up and given to me. Very nice service. I found it positive that you can also sit outside. All in all recommended.

Mother's Day dinner with the whole family, ordered a table, ate deliciously and... Everything was great, that's why I've been in the rehabilitation clinic for 2 weeks! You can't go wrong going to Sant Lucia.

18 Personen waren lange genug angekündigt. Wir wollten eine Hochzeit feiern. Es fehlten die auf der Speisekarte beschriebenen Beilagen. Uns wurde mitgeteilt, es wären nicht mehr genug für alle übrig. Nur noch ein paar Reste, die auf den Tellern mehr oder weniger verteilt wurden. Anstatt vernünftige Beilagen zu servieren (pro Steak 38 Euro) , und alle weiteren Hauptgerichte, wurden uns 3 kleine Schüsselchen mit Kartoffelpüree hingestellt, mit der Aussage der Kellnerin " wir haben diese aus den restlichen Kartoffeln gemacht die übrig sind". Absolute Frechheit!!!!! Passte auch überhaupt nicht zu den bestellten Gerichten! Nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen, kamen dann, obwohl viel zu spät, alle hatten schon gegessen, endlich nach 30 Minuten 2 Schüsseln mit Pommes und auf Nachfrage, ob es Kroketten gäbe, wurde gar nicht reagiert . Obwohl vorab besprochen eine vegane Person dabei wäre, wurde ein liebloser Salat in einem kleinen Schüsselchen zusammengepackt, mit einer nicht veganen Soße. Nach erneutem nachfragen wurde der Salat dann etwas genervt auf einen größeren Teller gepackt mit gefühlten 5 Salatblättern mehr. Sie könne aber auch Barilla Nudeln mit Tomatensoße essen. Sorry die kann ich auch zu Hause Essen für weniger Geld. Wir waren ziemlich enttäuscht, und werden dieses Restaurant nicht mehr aufsuchen etc. empfehlen.

18 people were announced long enough. We wanted to have a wedding. The side dishes described on the menu were missing. We were told there weren't enough left for everyone. Just a few leftovers, which were more or less spread out on the plates. Instead of serving reasonable side dishes (38 euros per steak) and all other main courses, we were given 3 small bowls of mashed potatoes, with the waitress saying "we made these from the remaining potatoes that were left over". Absolute disgrace!!!!! Didn't go well with the dishes we ordered! After asking several times, they finally arrived after 30 minutes, although it was much too late, everyone had already eaten 2 bowls of fries and when asked if there were croquettes there was no response at all. Although it had been agreed in advance that a vegan person would be there, a bland salad was packed together in a small bowl with a non-vegan sauce. After asking again, the salad was put onto a larger plate with what felt like 5 more lettuce leaves, somewhat annoyed. You can also eat Barilla pasta with tomato sauce. Sorry, I can eat it at home for less money. We were quite disappointed and will no longer visit or recommend this restaurant.

We come here regularly and enjoy eating. One of the best Italian restaurants in Krefeld and the surrounding area and certainly one of the most beautiful shops.

Located in a 16th century inn that is over 400 years old, it offers a picturesque setting for a cozy meal with the family. When you enter you are greeted with a warm hospitality that makes you feel like you are part of the family. The lovingly designed interior, the super friendly service and the regular guests contribute to the beautiful atmosphere. The Paccheri or Scialatielli are highly recommended from the menu. Santa Lucia is a place where you can not only enjoy delicious food, but also feel the warmth and connection of a real Italian family. A real gem in Hüls and definitely worth a visit!

Unfortunately, the ambience and location cannot make up for everything. I had the worst pizza here with friends in ages. It was apparently baked in a mold and not on a stone. The dough was unreasonable and had the consistency of a ready-made dough from the supermarket - dry, compressed, rock hard on the edge and without any taste. You probably don't need a professional pizza maker here, because every Turkish snack bar can do it better, or even Dr. Oetker. Other dishes might be OK, but I won't try them.

Die Saltimbocca alla Romana – es waren zwei große, dicke Schnitzel – kamen in Bratensoße statt auf Marsala, die Pasta war in Ordnung, die Pizzas waren labberig und lagen von der Qualität der Zubereitung und der Zutaten eher im unteren Mittelfeld. Kurz: der Besuch des Santa Lucia war eine Zeitreise in die deutsche Gastronomie der 80er Jahre. Das Restaurant war jedoch trotz der unambitionierten Küche gut besucht – die Ansprüche an gutes Essen scheinen in der Region nicht groß zu sein. Oder es fehlt an guten Alternativen. Während der kurzen Wartezeit bekamen wir die Verse eines Kellners serviert, der die 80er Jahre Anschauungen über Fleischkonsum, kochende Mütter und Italiener-Stereotypen untermauern sollte. Anbiederung zum Fremdschämen! Es herrschte an unserem Tisch betretenes Schweigen - er dozierte weiter. Allerdings das Ambiente ist sehr schön – nur hat dazu das Team des Santa Lucia keinen Beitrag geleistet. Positiv bleibt – mit Ausnahme des Hobbypoeten – nur das Personal in Erinnerung.

Hier fühle ich mich immer gut aufgehoben. Alles sehr stimmig.

Super nettes Ambiente und Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend . Top ! Der Salat sehr sehr lecker aber die Portion war sehr klein für knapp 12€ . Pizza hatte eine super schönen dünnen Teig und war geschmacklich gut . Die Schnecken als Vorspeise haben uns überhaupt nicht geschmeckt sie hatten kein Geschmack . Die Soße dazu könnte ich mir persönlich mit etwas mehr Gewürzen vorstellen , war eher 08/15 Tomaten Soße . Im ganzen waren wir sehr zufrieden .

Eine tiefgefrorene Pizza schmeckt besser. Diese hier bei St Lucia erschien mir wie eine, der man nur noch Ersatzkäse und ein paar andere Zutaten hinzugefügt hätte. Völlig verfettet. Das Steak (innen roh) wurde ohne Sauce serviert und das wenige Gemüse und Kartoffeln waren sicherlich auch aus der Tiefkühltruhe. Bedienung und Ambiente hingegen waren top. Schade…, die Terrasse und Atmosphäre ist wirklich nett.

Waren schon ein paar mal hier und hatten zum Glück einen Tisch bestellt. Wir sitzen gerne im Sommer hier draußen mit dem Blick auf das Geschehen am Marktplatz. Wir bekamen sofort den üblichen Appetizer und auch beide Getränke, mussten dann aber um eine Karte bitten, da um uns herum schon alle bestellt hatten, auch die die später kamen. Das Essen war wie immer lecker, sogar meine 5 Scheiben Filet im Gericht, die sicher noch leckerer geschmeckt hätten, wenn ich noch den bestellten Pfeffer bekommen hätte... Und wenn ich dann noch ein zweites oder sogar drittes Getränk hätte ordern dürfen, wäre es auch besser gerutscht. So haben wir dann auf den Nachtisch verzichtet und uns in der Eisdiele ein köstliches Eis gegönnt.

Ich dachte sie könnten Carbonara besser als ich, mir gelingt sie nie. Nein, können sie nicht, Ei war gestockt, leider.

wir hatten Pasta und Pizza. Die Nudeln mit Gambas und Spinat. das hat sehr gut geschmeckt. und wer Hunger hat, ist die Pizza Calzone „Santa Lucia“

Wir haben hier sehr schön Draußen auf dem historischen Marktplatz gesessen und lecker gegessen. Das Ambiente ist hier sehr schön. Obwohl das Restaurant noch Pause hatte, sind wir sehr freundlich begrüßt worden und durften schon Platz nehmen. Das Essen schmeckte uns allen sehr gut. Da dort auch eine Feier war, wurde uns im Vorfeld mitgeteilt, daß es etwas dauern könnte, aber trotzdem war die Wartezeit angenehm und die Getränke kamen auch zügig. Vom Haus gab es ein super leckeres Brot mit Aufstrich. Alles hat hier super gepasst.
