Super leckeres Restaurant, die Pizzen sind einfach unglaublich lecker. Wir nehmen immer wieder die Ilaria Pizza und die Trüffelpizza. Wirklich wärmstens zu empfehlen. Ich würde empfehlen zu reservieren. Das Restaurant ist oft sehr voll, deswegen ist die Atmosphäre auch nicht perfekt. Die Sitze sind alle sehr eng und es ist laut durch die vielen Gäste. Aber geschmacklich und vom Service her einfach super! Mega empfehlenswert!

Am Samstagabend wollten wir hier eine Kleinigkeit essen. Die leeren Tische im Schatten waren angeblich alle reserviert, und da wir nicht in der Sonne sitzen wollten sind wir wieder gegangen. Von der Terasse nebenan konnten wir beobachten, dass die Tische im Schatten über eine Stunde leer geblieben sind. Schade, dass man hier kein Geschäft machen will.

Wir waren am Wochenende im Sorrento und ich muss sagen: Als Italiener habe ich bei italienischen Restaurants meist einen recht hohen Anspruch – hier wurde ich aber keineswegs enttäuscht. Wir hatten vorab reserviert, was ich definitiv empfehlen würde. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht, trotzdem wurden gerade ein bis zwei Tische frei, sodass wir sogar früher als geplant Platz nehmen konnten. Getränke und Speisekarte kamen schnell, ebenso die Vorspeisen. Besonders positiv aufgefallen ist mir, dass nach der Vorspeise gefragt wurde, ob der Hauptgang bereits serviert werden darf. So etwas erlebt man leider nicht überall. Man merkt, dass hier Wert auf guten Service gelegt wird und die Gäste nicht einfach „durchgeschleust“ werden. Als Hauptgang hatten wir die Trüffelpasta auf Carpaccio – absolut Weltklasse! Geschmacklich wirklich hervorragend und qualitativ auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Für einen Nachtisch waren wir aufgrund der großzügigen Portionen leider zu satt. Die Auswahl auf der Dessertkarte sah allerdings ebenfalls sehr vielversprechend aus. Fazit: Tolles Restaurant, hervorragendes Essen und ein aufmerksamer Service. Perfekt für einen schönen Abend zu zweit oder mit Freunden. Hinweis: Die Preise liegen etwas über dem Durchschnitt, sind aber der Qualität, dem Ambiente und dem Service absolut angemessen. Wer eine klassische Pizzeria sucht, ist hier vielleicht falsch – wer gutes italienisches Essen in gehobenem Ambiente genießen möchte, sollte dem Sorrento definitiv eine Chance geben.

Ich war jetzt zum wiederholten male bei Sorrento. Erstmalig mit meiner Familie und Letztmalig mit einer Freundin, wobei wir, wie jedesmal, sehr freundlich empfangen wurden. Service war sehr gut und auch sehr aufmerksam. Meine konstruktive Kritik wurde ebenfalls gut angenommen. Preisleistung finde ich völlig ok. Zum Abschluss wurde uns noch ein selbstgemachter Digestif ( Verdauungsgetränk, hier mit Honigmelone) gebracht, der einfach fantastisch schmeckte.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr sehr gut. Man hat viel Auswahl und da ist definitiv was für jeden dabei. Die Servicekraft war auch super aufmerksam & freundlich, obwohl viel los war. In Krefeld mit Abstand das beste italienische Restaurant! Wir werden öfter kommen ☺️

Top Pizzeria. Meine Empfehlung 👌

Sehr leckeres Essen, einziges Problem war die Wartezeit für das Essen, gut war Samstags deswegen kann man da nicht so viel erwarten. Dennoch ist bischen mehr als eine Stunde ordentlich. Sehr nette Bedienung und netter Chef. Ambiente im inneren 5 sterne, draußen 4.

Geburtstag, nix geplant. Geht man halt Mal mit 7 Personen durch die Stadt am Donnerstag Abend und schaut wo man einen Platz bekommt... Und verzweifelt, zurecht. Steht die Dame des Hauses an der Tür, fragt ob der Herr der gerade raucht auch zu unserer kleinen Trümmertruppe gehört. Dreht sich um, marschiert durch den Laden, 2 Minuten später sitzen wir am runden Tisch und bestellen die Vorspeisenteller, gefolgt von 7 verschiedenen Pizzen, die wir quer probieren und ein riesen Gemetzel veranstalten... Tolle Zutaten, frisch aufgeschnitter Schinken, Burrata in Mengen, Klasse Teig, krosser Boden, vegetarische Variante leckerer als erlaubt... Passt! In Krefeld!...

Grazie Mille Sorrento....... Die Pizza ist für mich ein absoluter Genuß, ob es die BESTE ist, müsst ihr selbst entscheiden. Jedoch solltet ihr mal die "nicht Standard-Varianten" probieren... AMICI, MORTAZZA oder BUD SPENCER, einfach nur WOW anders aber unglaublich lecker. Über den Rand mag ich gar nichts schreiben.....probieren und das Lächeln wird automatisch kommen. Auch die Vorspreisenplatte für 2 oder ab 4 Personen ist nicht Standard und man bekommt schon einen kleinen Vorgeschmack, um was es hier geht: GESCHMACK!

Es war ein toller Abend! Sehr authentisch, neapolitanisch! Man hört italienisch, bemerkt den Charme. Guter & total netter Service, obwohl das Restaurant (unter der Woche) permanent voll war. Man sollte unbedingt reservieren!!

Sensationelle Pasta & echte neapolitanische Pizza! Ich war mit der Familie im Piazza Sorrento in Krefeld essen und sind absolut begeistert. Wer auf der Suche nach authentischer italienischer Küche ist, wird hier fündig. Das Essen: • Die Pasta-Gerichte: Wir hatten zwei verschiedene Nudelgerichte (eines davon wurde sogar spektakulär direkt im Käselaib zubereitet). Geschmacklich einfach hervorragend – cremig, frisch und perfekt gewürzt. • Die Pizza: Eine echte neapolitanische Pizza, wie sie sein muss! Der Teig war luftig mit dem typischen Rand, die Zutaten hochwertig und frisch. Man schmeckt die Qualität in jedem Bissen.

Für mich die beste Pizza weit und breit.

Wir sind regelmäßig dort – sowohl privat als auch mit dem gesamten Team – und es ist jedes Mal aufs Neue wunderbar. Das Essen ist immer frisch und sehr lecker. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm und einladend, und das Personal bzw. die Kellner sind stets freundlich und kompetent. Wir freuen uns jedes Mal darauf, wiederzukommen!

Der 1 Stern bezieht nur auf mein Steak. Ich bin regelmäßig hier essen, und habe schon vieles ausprobiert. Bisher war ich immer begeistert. Die Steaks waren immer sehr gut. Nun wurden die Preise massiv erhöht. Knapp 39€ für ein US Rumpsteak finde ich eine Ansage. Für einen Salat als Beilage kamen 5€ dazu. Für einen Fertigsalat. Bei dem Preisniveau darf man erwarten, dass man tatsächlich ein US Steak bekommt. Und nicht eine alte Milchkuh aus Europa. US Steaks sind zart und saftig, und zeichnen sich durch eine gute Marmorierung aus. Mein Steak war so zäh, dass ich es nicht mal mit dem Steakmesser richtig schneiden konnte. Es war total zäh, überhaupt nicht saftig und hatte 0 Marmorierung. Habe mich natürlich beim Service gemeldet. Die Reaktion war unprofessionell und er bestand da drauf, dass es US Rind sei. Dass es zäh war, hat ihn überhaupt nicht interessiert. Pizzen und Pasta können die sehr gut! Aber in Zukunft werde ich definitiv kein Steak mehr hier bestellen. Es hatte nicht mal eine Fettader. Für den Preis kriegt man in z.B. Düsseldorf deutlich bessere Qualität geboten. Oder bei anderen Italienern in Krefeld. Sogar der ein oder andere Grieche bietet bessere Steaks an. Das Steak war nicht mal 15€ Wert.

Mama Mia, die beste Pizza die ihr jemals gegessen habt. Nicht umsonst Pizzaweltmeister!! Wir fahren jedesmal von Düsseldorf extra nach Krefeld nur für die Pizza :)

Ich war jetzt bereits zweimal mit meiner Frau hier. Das Personal ist freundlich und schnell. Und das Essen ist richtig gut. Für mich das Restaurant in Krefeld, zu dem ich am liebsten gehe! :-)

Sehr lecker kommen schon seit Jahren immer wieder gerne

Wir haben vor fünf Wochen reserviert und den schlechtesten Tisch bekommen, was ich echt unfair finde. Wir saßen direkt neben dem Eingang, wo uns den ganzen Abend die kalte Luft in den Nacken blies. Wir haben mehrmals um einen anderen Tisch gebeten, als wir sahen, wie Gäste gingen, aber sie wollten angeblich nicht zwei Tische putzen müssen. Die Pizzen sind gut, das will ich nicht bestreiten, aber sie scheinen einfach nur Kunden am Fließband abzufertigen, und die Servicequalität leidet darunter. Es fühlte sich an wie am Fließband, und wir hatten einfach keinen schönen Abend.

Ein Stern ist noch zu viel. Wir waren gestern im Sorrento Krefeld essen. Schon wie man empfangen wird, ist unterirdisch. Auch die Bedienung ist frei von allen netten Gesten. Es ist im grundgenommen nur ein Abfertigen in einer großen Halle. Die Pizza war überhaupt nicht gut - matschig und fettig. Meine Nudeln mit Garnelen war eine Frechheit - die Nudeln fast kalt, die Garnelen nicht mal richtig angebraten und agil e olio war mehr oder weniger eine Brühe. Außerdem wurde der Parmesan vergessen. Und der stolze Preis von 19 Euro ein Zumutung. Zum Schluss wurde nicht einmal gefragt: Hat es geschmeckt:)) Nie wieder werden wir dorthin gehen.

Meine Mutter wollte heute mit meiner 79-jährigen Oma dort essen gehen. Uns wurde gesagt, dass angeblich erst in drei Wochen wieder ein Tisch frei sei. Im Restaurant waren jedoch mehrere Tische frei zu sehen. Das empfanden wir als sehr respektlos. Für uns wirkt dieses Verhalten wie eine klare Diskriminierung. Eine solche Behandlung von Gästen ist wirklich eine Unverschämtheit und absolut enttäuschend.

Einfach nur verdammt Lecker, egal ob Vorspeise Hauptspeise oder Dessert. Abgerundet von einem super Service und einem tollen Ambiente

Wir waren zum Abendessen mit Freunden am Freitagabend und es war brechend voll. Zum Glück hatten wir rechtzeitig reserviert. Die Pizzen waren hervorragend und sind wirklich zu empfehlen. Bei dem gemischten Vorspeisenteller fehlte es irgendwie am besonderen. Bier vom Fass u.a. auch Duckstein. Ansonsten das Personal war sehr freundlich und schnell. Waren nach längerer Zeit wieder da. Es war proppen voll, gut das wir online resiert hatten. Essen war weiterhin sehr gut und der Vorspeisenteller war gut und Abwechslungsreich.

Das Piazza Sorrento war bei unserem Besuch extrem voll, wodurch es im Gastraum sehr eng und entsprechend laut war. Eine entspannte Atmosphäre kam dadurch leider kaum auf. Die Pizza selbst war geschmacklich gut und qualitativ solide. Angesichts des Preisniveaus ist das jedoch auch das, was man erwarten darf, ohne dass es besonders heraussticht. Insgesamt also gutes Essen, aber das Ambiente und der Geräuschpegel haben das Erlebnis deutlich beeinträchtigt.

Diese Pizzeria ist wirklich empfehlenswert. Wir haben kurzfristig online einen Tisch reservieren können und auch pünktlich erhalten. Nach einem gemischten Vorspeisenteller hatten wir frische Tagliatelle mit Steinpilzen in Sahnesoße und die Pizza "Sophia Loren". Diese Pizza ist eine Pizza Bianca, also ohne die obligatorische Tomatensoße und einfach mega lecker. Das Personal ist sehr nett, flott und aufmerksam. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht und es war schon fast typisch italienisch laut. Allerdings sind die Preise schon ziemlich hoch, aber das war es diesmal wert.

Ich habe heute Abend him Piazza Sorrento gegessen. Eines vorweg: die Pizza war wirklich sehr, sehr lecker und genauso so wie ich sie aus Neapel in Erinnerung habe. Wirklich exzellent….der Service war ebenfalls sehr gut, schnell, freundlich, aufmerksam….das Dessert ( Ananassorbet ) war leider nicht gut…für zuviel Geld eine zu kleine Portion und das Sorbet hatte zu wenig Geschmack ( ich hätte wohl besser das Zitronensorbet nehmen sollen 😉 ).das Ambiente etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig mit kleinen Tischen und laut….was mir aber wirklich gefehlt hat: italienische Musik ! Alles in allem ein schöner Abend ! Natürlich komme ich wieder.

Das italienische Restaurant hat uns mit seiner abwechslungsreichen Speisekarte überzeugt.

Leider war unser Besuch in der Pizzeria Sorrento sehr enttäuschend. Wir waren mit mehreren Personen dort, aber das Timing der Küche war katastrophal. Mein Essen kam erst an den Tisch, als alle anderen Begleiter ihre Mahlzeit bereits komplett beendet hatten – gemeinsames Essen war somit nicht möglich. ​Zu allem Überfluss war die Lieferung dann auch noch falsch: Statt der bestellten Tagliatelle wurden Penne serviert. Bei einem Gruppenbesuch erwarte ich, dass die Speisen zeitnah zusammen serviert werden und die Bestellung korrekt aufgenommen wird. Ein sehr frustrierendes Erlebnis, leider nicht zu empfehlen."

Sehr gute Pizza, guter Service, angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Tische stehen für meinen Geschmack etwas zu eng beieinander, aber für andere mag das ein Vorteil sein.

Sehr gutes Restaurant mit nettem Ambiente. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und es gibt eine große Auswahl an leckeren Gerichten.

Piazza Sorrento ist wirklich einer der besten Orte für Pasta und Pizza. Die Atmosphäre ist warm und einladend, das Ambiente lädt zum Verweilen, Entspannen und Genießen ein. Das Essen ist absolut hervorragend – authentische italienische Küche vom Feinsten. Ich hatte eine Pizza nach neapolitanischer Art, direkt aus Neapel, und Meeresfrüchte-Pasta, und beides war unglaublich lecker. Die Aromen waren frisch, perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt und eindeutig mit hochwertigen Zutaten zubereitet. Jeder Bissen erinnerte mich an Italien.

Sehr leckere Pizza, freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Insgesamt sehr gut.

Wir hatten Vitello tonnato und zwei verschiedene Pizzen mit Weißwein. Alles war köstlich. Allerdings dauerte es fast eine Stunde, bis die Pizzen kamen. Anschließend wollten wir noch ein Dessert essen, wurden aber gebeten zu gehen, da unsere Reservierungszeit bereits abgelaufen war. Angesichts der langen Wartezeit auf unsere Hauptgerichte fand ich das nicht fair.

Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber die Wartezeit war viel zu lang. Leider keine Information oder Entschuldigung vom Personal. Insgesamt enttäuschend.

Die beste neapolitanische Pizza außerhalb Neapels, da lege ich mich fest! Wir werden demnächst häufiger vorbeischauen. Weltklasse!

Super leckere Pizza. Sehr schneller und freundlicher Service. Es war nur etwas laut, weil es gut besucht war.

Tolle Pizzen, Nudeln waren lecker aber etwas wenig für den hohen Preis

Die Weltmeisterpizza lässt das Geschäft boomen. Selbst wochentags muss man Glück haben, einen Tisch zu bekommen. Hat man Platz genommen, kommen auch schon bald Brot, Oliven und Kräutercreme auf den Tisch. Lecker. Den kleinen Snack braucht man aber auch, denn die Wartezeit aufs Hauptgericht betrug in unserem Fall eine gute Stunde. In dieser Zeit wurden wir zwei weitere Male gefragt, ob wir Essen bestellen wollen. Von zwei verschiedenen Mitarbeitern. Es gibt reichlich Personal im Laden und davor, allerdings wirken die Abläufe sehr improvisiert. Man braucht Geduld und etwas Hartnäckigkeit, um zum Beispiel ein zweites Glas Wein zu erhalten. Die Pizza war mit sehr leckeren, ausgesuchten Zutaten belegt, der Teig weich und dünn mit dickem Rand. Hat uns gut geschmeckt. Auch das Fleischgericht war gut zubereitet, so dass man den Laden insgesamt empfehlen kann, wenn man ein wenig Zeit mitbringt. Und Geld, denn für eine Pizzeria sind die Preise eher im oberen mittleren Bereich angesiedelt. Update zwei Jahre später. Auch wenn du beim Italiener normalerweise nie eine Pizza bestellst - hier solltest du es tun. Wenn du einen Platz bekommst. Auch nach zwei Jahren boomt der Laden. Zu Recht. Wir probierten diesmal den Antipastiteller, die schwarzen Tortellini mit Trüffel, Rind, alles in ordentlichen Größen. Und himmlisch lecker. Wir sind noch nicht durch mit der Karte. Wir kommen wieder. Noch ein Update: Größer, schneller, lauter. Der Laden ist weiter auf Expansionskurs, nimmt jetzt noch das Nachbarlokal dazu und will jetzt auch mit Club Atmosphäre punkten. Ob es reicht, dafür ein paar Laute Boxen in die Ecke zu hängen? Viel Glück.

Die beste Pizza in Krefeld! Ach was, eher in ganz Deutschland. Super netter Service, auch eine super Nudelauswahl (Tipp: Fagott Nudeln mit Gorgonzola)

Pizzen Pizzen einfach excellent freundliches Personal leider sind die Pizzen etwas teuer, aber gut man bezahlt halt für Qualität und die Qualität ist wirklich sehr sehr gut.

Die Nudeln mit der Trüffelcreme und die Pizza war sehr lecker. Der Service ist Top die Kellner sind aufmerksam und alle Wünsche wurden sofort umgesetzt. Ich empfehle das Restaurant jedem der gerne gut isst, Wert auf Wohlfühlatmosphäre legt und einen besonderen Genussmoment erleben möchte.

We were at the restaurant on Friday evening. The antipasti were good and varied, however, there were no serving utensils, so we had to use our own, which wasn't very hygienic. The main course was so-so; the salmon was plentiful, but some of it was undercooked. The restaurant itself is very loud, the seating is far too close together, and the service could be more attentive. Used plates weren't cleared away until very late.

This is the first time I've ever left a review on Google. And it's a perfect 5-star rating across the board! I'm from Naples myself, and what I experienced here was first-class. I sat right next to the kitchen so I could watch everything. The work, the loud Italian shouts—everything was perfect. I ordered a classic spaghetti carbonara, and it was a dream, not the rubbish you get in most restaurants. The price-performance ratio is definitely acceptable given the quality. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back. 👍🏻💪

We've been there three times now, and it's been great every time. The food is delicious, you don't have to wait long, and the service is super attentive. You should make a reservation in advance, though. We're always happy to come back.

This restaurant was chosen with great care for my 40th birthday. Everyone was happy, which isn't always easy with 14 people, but this restaurant managed it. The service was funny and prompt. Every request was fulfilled. The quality of the food is nowhere else as Italian, i.e., as close to authentic, good Italian food. Last but not least, the restaurant. Although it's small, every seat is taken, which speaks for itself: everyone feels comfortable here. Even though the food is prepared in front of your eyes, my clothes don't smell of it :) We were there a year ago and they spruced up the place again, which they didn't need to, since the service was good and the food was outstanding. I'd be happy to go back and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The food wasn't hot, but lukewarm; there was a hair in the food; the pasta didn't taste as advertised, but rather bland. The pizzas were okay.

The food here is excellent. I recommend making a reservation in advance. It's great for a date. The service is excellent. I paid €110, but I got one pizza, three pasta dishes, and an extra shrimp, plus a bottle of water and a few drinks. You can't complain about the price. I'd be happy to come back.

Simply a great restaurant. Delicious Italian cuisine! Huge selection. Unfortunately, the menu is overcrowded with advertisements. In my opinion, it's completely unnecessary. Far too distracting. Restrooms are quite clean. Great drinks.

The service there is a disaster. We waited at our table for 30 minutes. When we called a waiter, he said, "The kitchen is closed. Do you have a reservation?" When we said no, he said, in a totally rude way, "We don't allocate tables." Perhaps they could have said that beforehand.

Supposedly the best pizzas in Europe, but unfortunately, the pizza tasted average, with a thick crust and not crispy. The tables are so close together that you can barely move or have a conversation. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

I'm absolutely thrilled with the Sorrento. Top-notch service, a wonderful atmosphere, and the pizza is outstanding. A fluffy, thick crust, great toppings, and top-notch flavor. There's nothing to complain about.

The food there is usually really delicious, and one Saturday evening we were really looking forward to it and arrived there very hungry. In some restaurants, regardless of whether you have a reservation or not, you have to register at the front and then be shown to your table. (But in some, you don't!!!) We weren't sure, and since there were a lot of people sitting outside, there were only two of us, and the entrance area is always quite busy, we decided to be cheeky and sit down without registering and then maybe ask the next server who walked by if it was okay that we were sitting down or if the table was reserved. But that didn't happen, because we were more or less immediately asked, aghast and a bit shocked, whether we hadn't registered at the front, and that that's not how it works here; we have to register at the front, not just sit down. From the information, everything was fine. But the tone could have been much nicer. Here are a few examples of how to greet your guests: -Hello, good evening, have you already registered at the front? -Good evening, you're new here, would you like something to eat? Then I'll bring you the menu and set the table, because normally you have to register at the front, but no problem, then you'll know for next time. ;-) It doesn't matter. Anyway, the mood was somehow immediately at rock bottom. Of course, we immediately apologized and said we didn't know, but the first impression was immediately gone... I don't know if it was because of our not-so-smart clothes or the caps, but we're well-groomed, friendly people and actually have manners, we weren't there in flip-flops, etc., but the greeting itself was really rude, and we didn't feel welcome at all, more like we were just a burden. We drank a shandy, while the table was being set, we decided to pay for it and then leave (sorry for setting the table for nothing). The waitress, very surprised, then asked if she could ask why she'd changed her mind, and we honestly told her why we didn't feel comfortable. She actually behaved very professionally and apologized, offering us another five minutes to think about it. But I was sure that this feeling, and also the miscommunication, would have persisted throughout the evening... Conclusion: We then treated ourselves to a first-class burger at the BURGERSTUBE and had a really nice rest of the evening. I would still go to Sorrento again sometime... Maybe.

For me the best pizza I have ever eaten.

The two of us were there on a Saturday evening and were lucky to get a table without a reservation. Reservations are therefore recommended, especially on weekends. The pizzas were delicious. The pizza dough was nice and fluffy and crispy around the edges. The menu is in newspaper format and a little different and creative. We would come back for dinner :)

After we'd been sitting for about two minutes, the next server came over just to ask if we had sat there ourselves or if the seat had been assigned to us. If the others in our group hadn't wanted to stay, I would have already gotten up and gone to Mama's. After another five minutes, the cards arrived. We ordered drinks. Another server brought them and left without eating. A few minutes later, the first server returned and took our orders. We each ordered two pasta dishes and two pizzas. Then, after another five minutes, the appetizers arrived. Shortly afterward, the food arrived. The summary of the meal (we as a group go to a different restaurant every Wednesday and can distinguish good food from less good): The pizza was nicely crispy on the edges and had a high dome, but also covered in black spots. Good toppings, except for the canned mushrooms, which were also mentioned on the menu. As for the pricing, others do it with fresh mushrooms. What wasn't to our taste at all was the karpacho-like crust. It was so thin that you couldn't distinguish it from the topping, nor was its consistency particularly delicious. 3-4 mm more dough would have made it firmer. The pasta dishes tasted normal, but were priced as if they were special. Summary: Eaten, paid, and we'll keep looking for good restaurants.

Simply delicious, authentic food in a very homely atmosphere. Whether it was pasta, pizza, or dessert, everything was perfect and made with love. The only criticism was that orders took a while to be received after a certain time. However, the food arrived extremely quickly. And a small suggestion for improvement: with the extremely good dough, pizza rolls or fresh bread to start with would be an improvement over the current bread with olives. But we would definitely come back again!

We walked in by chance. The place was packed. We ordered pizza, pasta, and salad. Everything was delicious! Quick service. Very friendly staff who spoke Italian. We felt at home!

I've been here several times; the pizzas are really delicious! I'd like to give it more stars, but the waitress who serves the outside area is anything but friendly. When I said I had a reservation for the outside area, she simply replied that I could see that everything was full. At that point, however, there were definitely several tables free, just not set up. We had to wait a bit longer before finally being served. She brought the appetizers so late that the pizza arrived a minute later. She didn't feel responsible for us at all. We then had to wait a long time before we could pay, and the leftover pizza was simply surly taken back to the kitchen to be wrapped up. When we finally paid, we weren't even looked at; they just took the money, and that was that. Would I come back? Definitely, the food is great! But I would never sit outside again, which is the area the lady is responsible for.

We'd been there once before and had fond memories, so we arrived with high expectations. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. After our order was taken, our appetizer plate for two was served immediately, which unfortunately didn't blow us away. The portions were much smaller than before, and the flavor wasn't particularly impressive. But after that, we were forgotten. The table wasn't cleared, and we had to wait. We watched as neighboring tables received their main courses before us, even though they arrived after us. We asked the first employee about our appetizer 70 minutes after arriving. Only then was a plate taken away, and the response was, "It's busy." Another 10 minutes passed, and we asked the next employee, who told us, "It's busy, I can't be everywhere—I'm out a lot." We understand that, and with proper communication, it's not a problem: a statement like, "I'm sorry for the delay, it'll be ready soon," would have been nice. But there was a discussion, and I said we'd been waiting for over 30 minutes - "that's not much." We didn't feel comfortable and just wanted to leave. We had the rest of the pizza, which was roughly thrown onto our table, packed up. The pizza tasted okay, but unfortunately, some parts were so burnt that you could still taste it despite the prosciutto (see picture). The Mango Spritz and Passion Fruit Spritz were delicious! By the way, we also had to wait again for the bill. We were ignored several times, and after two different people said "Yeah, right," we were then able to pay the third person. We're just sad that we didn't get an apology until the end. Even if it sounds mean, it's not our fault that it's busy. When I go to a restaurant, I want to be served, not chase after the waiters. Especially not when I'm leaving so much money.

It's essential to make a reservation before visiting the restaurant. The quality of the food wasn't bad. The food was ready 20 minutes after ordering. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and friendly, but it was very busy. The prices were a bit higher than usual.

The pizzeria has won several awards in the past. The quality of the pizza and antipasti is very good. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality. The service is friendly and attentive. The restrooms are very clean.

It was pleasantly busy. Everything was full. We hadn't booked, but they did their best to find us a table. We got a nice spot on the condition that we finished our meal within two hours. A great deal, and no problem for us. We were served calmly and without any rush. Excellent service. The food was delicious. Definitely recommended!

Piazza Sorrento – A piece of Naples in the heart of Krefeld 🇮🇹🍕 A truly lovely business lunch with my friend and business partner Mario. We had a pleasant time – accompanied by excellent food and a fantastic team. I was particularly impressed by the pizza – it tasted amazing, and with every bite, I felt a little closer to my "home" Italy. An all-around successful evening – highly recommended! My girlfriend and I wanted to try something new and went to Piazza Sorrento. When we arrived, it was quite full. There were plenty of staff, and they were all very friendly and attentive. For my starter, I ordered the carpaccio with burrata. It was a very tasty and well-balanced dish. My girlfriend, who isn't normally a fan of carpaccio, joined us and also enjoyed it. For our main course, we ordered two pizzas: a tuna pizza and a truffle pizza from the daily menu. We both thought the pizzas were delicious and couldn't resist finishing them all. For dessert, we had a panna cotta and a dessert whose name I've forgotten. The panna cotta was a bit too sweet in the sauce. My dish was very tasty. The staff was very friendly all evening and came by frequently to ask how the food was and if we needed any drinks. All in all, we went home extremely satisfied and will definitely return.

The service was a disaster. We were there for two hours and weren't even asked if we wanted anything else to drink. We wanted our pizzas for starters, but unfortunately they never arrived. After asking if we could cancel the pizza order, we were told they were already being prepared. 25 minutes later, the pizzas still hadn't arrived. We took them away. The food is good, the service is a disaster.

I had a very nice evening here with good friends. The food was good. The service was good too. I felt the tables were too close together. Instead, there was Duckstein on tap.

We drove there all the way from Leverkusen and Bochum to try the place out and were somewhat disappointed. The appetizer platter for two was okay. The pizzas were tasty, but we've had much better pizzas. The service was abysmal; it was very busy, which I certainly take into account, but it was still pretty bad. I'm still waiting for the bottle of water we ordered. The service was completely lacking, and we weren't even asked if we wanted anything else to drink or dessert. Our wives spent half the evening sitting in front of empty glasses, and if we hadn't said anything ourselves, it would have stayed that way. The Limoncello Spritz tasted like dish soap, but they easily replaced it with an Aperol Spritz, and that definitely gets a big thumbs up. The tiramisu at the end was okay, but nothing earth-shattering. So, for someone who boasts of being European champions in pizza making and baking, the surroundings unfortunately leave a lot to be desired. The ambiance inside the place is quite nice, but outside it's less so. My conclusion: Unfortunately, for me personally, this isn't a place I'd want to visit again, as there are much better shops.
