Restaurant mamma's in Krefeld

Today, we ate at Mamma's as a family for the first time. We sat inside by the window. The food was top-notch! The waitress was top-notch! We were served by a young lady named Olah. A big compliment to her, super friendly and very pretty. The atmosphere was lovely! We'd love to come again.

Delicious food, large portions. The service is professional but a bit "too Italian"—they talk a lot and loudly, but that's certainly part of the concept. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Very disappointing...With the great summer weather, I wanted to sit outside with a friend and enjoy a drink, my friend wanted to eat a little something..My choice fell on a non-alcoholic cocktail; A colorless drink was brought, garnished with a tired slice of pineapple, rarely seen anything so unappetizing. I really had to force myself to try the drink, unfortunately in vain because the taste was nothing. I've never left my food or drink in a restaurant in my life, I had to do it here. When I asked if there was anything I could do and exchange the drink, I was unfortunately told no... My friend's meal, a starter, was OK, but nothing special.

5 stars – A culinary experience! Mamma's restaurant absolutely thrilled me! As soon as you enter you can feel the warm, inviting atmosphere - and this is also reflected in the food. I would particularly like to highlight the tomato soup: simply heavenly! Fresh, aromatic and perfectly seasoned – I have rarely had such a good soup. The other dishes were also delicious and lovingly prepared. The service was warm and attentive, you felt like you were staying with friends. An absolute favorite restaurant – I’ll definitely be back!

Starting with the positive, it's nice to sit there in a cozy atmosphere. We were there with colleagues and had different dishes. The portions were okay, the pizza was too dry in taste, the Caesar salad had croutons that were not edible. They were oversalted, overly peppered and had a rubbery consistency. Same verdict from 3 people. Since no one from the service came to ask whether it was tasty during the meal, nor did anyone ask when it was being cleared away, we were only able to give our feedback when we paid.

Fantastic experience we ate a nice Deluxe starter based on veal with tuna, a.o.p prawns carpaccio and caprese then a nice saltimbocca as it should be and then we concluded with a good extraordinary pistachio truffle I will return, fantastic professional and kind service, many greetings and huge congratulations

We ate (vegetable) pizza at Mamma's. The taste of the food was medium and extremely salty. I don't usually drink much in the evening, but after this pizza I drank two bottles of mineral water. Although I liked the ambience, this is clearly a reason for me not to visit the restaurant again. The service was very friendly. However, we asked to pay five times in the course of 40 minutes.

We were here at lunchtime and ordered a pizza with shrimps and arugula and a salad with grilled vegetables. The lady in service was friendly and the food came very quickly. The salad was nicely presented and a nice portion for a main meal. Both the salad and the pizza tasted good, although it should be noted that the grilled vegetables were served cold (that's not "everyone's cup of tea"). The two seasoning oils (one must have been garlic and the second pepperoni oil), which are served with grated Parmesan with a pizza, are highly recommended. The ambience is well coordinated and creates a warm atmosphere thanks to lots of wood. Another plus point: neat and clean toilets! The price-performance ratio is okay. Addendum: on a second visit we were also served very friendly and politely and the food was good so far (saltimbocca was very tasty and pasta with deer ragout was okay).

Unfortunately, the whole thing has nothing to do with that anymore...

Das Ambiente mag Geschmacksache sein. Das Essen leider nicht (wortwörtlich). Die Speisen hatten kaum Geschmack und die Konsistenz der Sauce zum Hirschragout legte nahe, dass diese evtl. aufgetaut worden war. Und die Bedienung: Freundlichkeit = mixed, je nach Kellner, von muffelig bis zuvorkommend war alles zu haben. Doch wie kommt man auf die glorreiche Idee, es sei gewünscht, die Vorspeise gleichzeitig mit seinem Hauptgericht serviert zu bekommen?!? Es war eh nur eine Verlegenheitslösung, hier zu essen. Doch selbst das wird nicht wieder passieren. Ach ja, wen es noch interessiert: Toiletten - keine Seife und nichts zum Abtrocknen der Hände.

Cozy restaurant with a nice ambience, not too loud even when it's busy. Food and drinks very good, service friendly and attentive. The visit was Friday in the early evening with 6 people, despite a reservation - I've never had a time-limited visit to a restaurant, reservation until 7 p.m., then the in-house usher had to make room for the next ones - actually there was enough space in the restaurant. Therefore, I deducted 1 star

It was our first time there and we had to wait a long time for service, even though there wasn't that much to do. The starter came quite quickly. It tasted good too. Unfortunately we couldn't order any drinks in the meantime because the service didn't come. Main courses were quite okay. With the pasta with the beef fillet strips, the meat was very dry and unfortunately there was only a minimal amount of sauce.

I haven't been to this restaurant for a long time and was very surprised at how wonderfully it has been remodeled, it still has the slight feel of an industrial hall (look/furniture) very pleasant and quiet. The staff were super nice and friendly. Unfortunately, the menu cards don't say what size pizzas are, so you have to be hungry because they are bigger than the plate 🥰 I ate bruchetta and didn't make it, so I was able to have the rest packed up. My girlfriend was also able to take her pizza with her. All in all super satisfied. Will definitely eat there again.

I ordered through uber there, it was an absolute disaster, everything was cold, the lasagna felt like it was thrown across the store, maybe the restaurant can't do anything for it, but for €13.90 the portion was an absolute disgrace, not even a 6 year old would have been satisfied with the small piece. The pizza I got was also there The pizza I ordered arrived without garlic or spicy and was also cold, so if I had taken one with toppings and paid the full 18 euros for this crappy pizza I would have shown up at your store that same evening and would have gotten my money back from such a would-be store, I'm sorry for the language but that's not possible 5 star restaurant prices but food on wheels quality

The restaurant is very pretty the waitress was very polite however even though I mentioned it several times. My steak is supposed to be well done because I'm pregnant, but an English steak still came to the table and when I said they should either fry it again or bring me one that was well done, they said that wasn't possible. The food in general was very bad and didn't taste good at all. The antipasti platter was just any canned vegetables, nothing special. The breaded chicken was so hard and tasted like used oil. My potatoes that came with the steak were really hard. My mother's Caesar salad was a real disaster. They didn't even get a salad exactly right. The croutons were old and sticky. The chicken was like it had been thrown in the kettle. The pizzas haven't tasted good there for a long time. That's why we didn't order any but this time the food tasted catastrophic.

Was once a really good restaurant, based on what it was! Ordered a salad, a Caesar salad. Disaster: lettuce was soggy, chicken was dried out, rock hard on the edge and streaked with tendons, disgusting. The sauce was from the supermarket in a tetra pack and was inedible. It was a shame to serve something like that, so I went back to the kitchen but was allowed to pay in full. The store was completely empty, now I know why. Never again, the good times are over!

It took a while until you could order your first drink. Otherwise delicious food and nice facilities. A drink on the house to say goodbye is not the order of the day here.

The staff is really very friendly and attentive. From the house there was bread with olives and aioli. In terms of price, it is a bit higher here. Unfortunately the food was just OK. Finding parking spaces is a disaster, even in the evening.

Am Montag 23.9. 24 waren wir mit 3 Mädels um 17 Uhr essen ! Es war nicht voll , wir saßen draußen ! Der Kellner lief mehrmals vorbei , ignorierte uns. Auf unsere Frage , ob wie etwas bestellen dürfen ( nach gut 15-20min) „ gesellte „ sich dann jemand zu uns ! Die Freundlichkeit war 3-4 Wir hatten Nudel / Lasgne Selten so eine kleine & schlechte Lasagne gegessen ! Nudeln waren auch nicht so , wie man es kannte ! Als unsere Getränke zu Ende waren und keiner kam , ist eine von uns rein ! Hat gefragt ob es möglich wäre , noch etwas zu trinken zu bekommen ! Dann kam ein Kellner zum Tisch ! Kurz danach ein weiterer , der fragte ob alles ok sei ….. Nein , es ist nichts ok !!!! Vor dem bezahlen bekamen wir einen Limoncelli aufs Haus ! Dies konnte es auch nicht rausreissen ! Sehr schade …. Es gab einmal sehr nettes Personal , aber die Herren die draußen waren Montag , gehören leider nicht dazu ! Wir werden in diesem Lokal kein Geld mehr lassen ! Werde es auch nicht weiter empfehlen !

The food is super tasty and the portions are really filling. Unfortunately I have to say that I have been disappointed several times in the store. One time we wanted to use the garlic oil, there was a small fruit fly in it. I had to get up and ask for another jar of garlic oil, the new jar the waiter gave me also had a few flies in it. Unfortunately, when I brought this up again, it was more unpleasant for me than for the store itself.

Echt Italiaans restaurant in het centrum van de stad; er is een gezellig terras aanwezig. Menukaart met overwegend pizza en pasta gerechten. Kwalitatief prima; goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Nice service. Even special requests were taken into account and implemented 100%, because the restaurant does not have a children's menu or classic dishes that are always popular with children. The food tastes delicious, my pizza personally tasted good but not great, the dough was just too hard for me and even with the special dough knife it was still an effort to cut the pizza. The topping could also be more generous, it feels like 10 shrimps on a large pizza looks and tastes lean. The store is chic and modern. We sat at the front of the window and there were two televisions right behind us. In other words, getting up was difficult and it's not nice to look at. There were also unnecessary items lying around at the front counter like old chairs or something similar. It doesn't have to be that way for the eye. The sanitary facilities are top and generally it is very clean there. The service pulled it out for us.

I had dinner there with the company. Ordered a calzone. It was dry on top and on the sides too, because it was just dough. And in the middle of the pile with ham cheese and mushrooms. Unfortunately it wasn't baked properly and just tasted watery. Too bad. But the staff was great, very friendly and I really liked the atmosphere.
