Ambience very nice. We waited about 1 hour for our main course. Service not really friendly. The taste of the food was good but the portions were much too small.

Were there in a group. Basically you can say that the food is okay. It doesn't taste bad, but there's nothing sophisticated or compelling about the products. Pasta filletto consists of cheap supermarket noodles, some sauce and a few cubes of meat for €16. Two pieces of salmon with fried potatoes without anything for €30. In my opinion, price-performance is rather poor. The food is optimized for throughput. More craftsmanship would be good for the food.

The ambience and design of the rooms are quite appealing. Unfortunately, this is clearly diminished by the repeatedly mediocre service and the mediocre quality of the food - a shame, because it could be a really good Italian restaurant. The Rusticone pizza tasted absolutely bland (no seasoning, no sauce and the ingredients described on the menu were simply left out) and a cruet (oil and vinegar) was only served after the table had been cleared and we were paying. When we pointed out the above-mentioned deficiencies, we were simply dismissed with a terse “So?” A bottomless impudence - it could have been solved much more gallantly with little effort and a little tact (and I don't mean grabbing free drinks). The rest of the food was ok - not bad, but nothing exceptional either. Never again - unfortunately!

The best Italian restaurant in Stuttgart. Attention, it is not a pizzeria although there are also a small number of pizzas. If desired, one starter can also be reduced in order to try a second one.

At the top level for me for almost 20 years. In Wangen already and now. Always world class. World's best warm octopus and panna cotta. Always been a master of pasta, fish or meat. I actually don't think I've ever tried pizza. But it has to be good because of the pizza bread.

Went there on the recommendation of a Cannstatt family and were disappointed. Price/performance is not right in our opinion. Mixed salad unimaginative. The Pizza Calabria minimal toppings, pasta with watery tomato sauce. It wasn't worth visiting.

Unfortunately, the pizza here didn't really impress me. The taste was okay, but to be honest I think the pizza from the kebab shop around the corner is even better. I just expected more for a pizzeria. The ingredients were fresh, but that certain something was missing. It's a shame because I was hoping for more!

Pizza with salami, mushrooms and rocket for €14. The pizza seems smaller than the usual pizzas. You have to look for cheese on the surface and unfortunately the bottom gets completely burnt. You shouldn't give it out to the customer if the pizza has been in the oven for too long. Sorry, second but last time ordered here

I was speechless about my dish. For just under €28 I got two wafer-thin slices of veal medallions served lifelessly in an over-salted sauce. When asked “whether that would be all?” No comment... too bad. It wasn't Italian at all

The vegan salami pizza was delicious!

I was very pleasantly surprised that there are several vegan dishes on the menu. Even a vegan pizza that tasted very good. Nice ambience and good service.

They always say that the first impression counts and this shop has definitely forgotten how to be friendly to customers, especially we weren't even greeted. We sat down at the table, no hello, nothing, people walked past us 3 times. The table was dirty, no one came to clean it. And not even a card was brought. The boss was asked why we were walking past us and didn't bring a card or greet us and we were initially insulted and instead of apologizing there was only a confrontation from the boss and that wasn't professional at all. I didn't order there, I immediately got up and left. Because you don't have to put up with something like that as a customer. I will never recommend this store to anyone.

Service 10/10. The staff were extremely friendly and especially warm towards our little ones. They even baked a special half/half pizza for the two little ones. Simply great and customer friendly. The atmosphere is great and you feel very comfortable. The pizza was excellent and very Italian. Gladly again

Service is substandard, super unfriendly, always angry, no matter what you ask, it doesn't fit. Simply not a recommendation or only if someone wants to be insulted by the waiter.

Unfreundlich und sehr lange Wartezeiten, kein Service. An anderen Tischen wurden die Gäste auch lange warten lassen, haben aber beispielsweise Brot mit Öl und Salz/Pfeffer erhalten. Wir erhielten leider nur sehr kleine Portionen. Keine Nachfrage, ob alles okay war oder wir vielleicht noch etwas trinken wollen. Wir waren elf Personen zwischen 10 und 84 Jahren und sind alle hungrig nach Hause gegangen.

I had ordered a table with a lot of anticipation. After arriving, I was ignored by the staff, then the boss rolled his eyes because they didn't want to sit outside. For this we were placed in the farthest corner of the restaurant. The waiter rarely came by and we waited almost an hour for food, even though it was only 6 p.m. and the restaurant was only 1/3 full. The food was okay...nothing special. All in all there are many better and friendlier Italians. So I have no reason to visit this restaurant again.

The Italian classic? No, it's no! A great Italian classic! Personally one of the best carpaccios I have ever tasted. The cooking of the first courses was perfect, the seasoning and the balance of the dishes are special. I know some won't believe me but only at home does an Italian eat so well. I hope to come back soon. A big shame that I live 2 hours away..

The three of us were guests at Ristorante Rusticone that evening. We really enjoyed the food and were just as impressed with it as was the service. Very nice and friendly. We'd love to come back.

A nice Italian restaurant with various delicious specialties on the menu that are really fun. Unfortunately, due to the size of the room, it was very loud. Lots of guests, loud conversations. Unfortunately, a cozy and quiet dinner for two with a bit of romance was not possible. The service was always very friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable for the quality. It's definitely more fun in larger groups, for example at a family celebration or something similar. If you're looking for romance, you should eat somewhere else.

We were there with a larger group. After more than half an hour we were allowed to order drinks. The table next to us, who came after us, already had their food. The pizzas were a disgrace. Looked like Dr Oetker, partly burned. The pasta was definitely not homemade but tasted OK, even if it was pretty inspired. When asked, nothing could be done apart from the menu, which was somewhat one-sided for vegetarians. The ravioli were a small portion and didn't even fill a child. The children's meals came quickly, but it took well over an hour for the others to arrive. The female service staff were consistently friendly, the man (boss?) was almost rude. We ended up being there for over 3 hours because there were always terribly long waiting times. All that with a big bill. We will no longer dine here.

Salat und Nudeln sehr schmackhaft. Zum Abschluss gab es noch einen köstlichen Cappuccino. Personal sehr schnell und freundlich. Preise waren absolut angemessen.

Ich war gestern hier zum Abendessen. Sehr spontan für dieses Restaurant entschieden und zum Glück trotz aktuell vieler Weihnachtsfeiern etc. einen Tisch bekommen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Egal ob die Essen als auch die Getränke waren wirklich perfekt. Gerne wieder!

Sehr guter Service, das Essen war auch top das Stake auf den Punkt gebraten Soße super leider war das Gemüse nicht heiß genug. Die Auswahl an Getränken kann sich sehen lassen.Nettes Ambiente ausreichend Parkplätze.

Tagliatelle Gorgonzola Spinacci war wenig Gorgonzola. Kellner hatte keine gute Laune. Pizza sah gut aus.

Das Lokal liegt in der Römer Kaserne im Eck. Praktisch sind die vielen Parkplätze ( kostenlos) in der Nähe. Obwohl der Gastraum recht groß ist, war es erstaunlich leise. Das Essen war lecker. Nur der Service war sparsam. Als wir nochmal die Karte für einen Nachtisch anfragten bekamen wir zu Zweit nur eine. Wir saßen gegenüber. Ansonsten war der Service gut. Der Koch kam persönlich vorbei und hat sich nach der Zufriedenheit erkundigt.

Nudeln mit Tomatensoße waren okay. Die Spaghetti waren al dente und die Soße hatte eine leichte Schärfe.

Rusticone hat nicht nur köstliches Essen, sondern auch unglaublich freundliche und herzliche Inhaber. Sie begrüßen dich immer mit einem Lächeln und sorgen dafür, dass du dich wie zu Hause fühlst. Ihre Gastfreundschaft macht den Besuch zu einem besonderen Erlebnis Die hausgemachte Pizza ist ein absolutes Highlight und die Pasta ist einfach perfekt. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Super italienische Küche mit besten Zutaten….ich empfehle den Meeresfrüchtesalat, Vitello Tonato, Hummer mit Nudeln, frischer Fisch, Lammfilet oder Lammlachse usw.

Sobald Ihr die Türen von Restaurant Rusticone öffnet, empfangen euch die herzlichen Mitarbeiter und ein verlockender Duft von frisch gebackener Pizza und hausgemachten Saucen. Die rustikale Einrichtung mit warmen Holztönen und gedämpftem Licht lädt die Gäste ein, Platz zu nehmen und sich wie in einem kleinen Stück Italien zu fühlen. Wir empfehlen euch das Rinderfilet Charolais mit grüner Pfeffersauce und frischem Gemüse. Probiert es aus und lasst uns wissen, wie es euch geschmeckt hat. Buon appetito!

Das Ambiente sowohl Innen und Außen ist sehr schön. Das Essen ist insgesamt gut - Preislich normal. Leider war einer der Kellner nur zu Stammgästen freundlich - daher eine teas schlechtere Bewertung.

Hier gibt es den besten Meeresfrüchtesalat. Fleisch -und Fischgerichte sind genial, die Gemüsebeilagen unglaublich lecker. Tiramisu ist traumhaft..

Preis Leistung stimmt leider nicht, Blechpizza!

Unfreundlicher Empfang. Reservierung hatte man "verlegt". Man wird von oben herab behandelt. Gerichte absolut austauschbar und Preise zu hoch. Stammgäste werden offensichtlich anders und bevorzugt behandelt.

Sehr schönes Lokal im Römerkastell, super freundliches und lustiges Personal, sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen war ein Gedicht, hier isst man gerne. Die Toiletten extrem sauber, das sieht man selten.

Wir waren hier schon öfters zum Essen und es hat immer gepasst und super geschmeckt.. es gibt immer frischen Fisch und sehr feine Gerichte außerhalb der Karte... Preis-Leistung absolut in Ordnung auch mit der Auswahl der Weine befindet man sich dort den besten Händen.. Ein sehr schönes italienisches Restaurant in dem man einfach nur eine Pizza oder Nudeln essen kann oder eben Fisch oder Fleisch... schönes Ambiente gemütlicher Atmosphäre

Sehr nett eingerichtetes Lokal in einer Ecke des großen Innenhofes des Römer-Kastells. Bedienung aufmerksam und freundlich, besonders zu unseren Kleinen . Da wir uns einig waren, aßen alle Pizza. Jeder lobte den guten Geschmack seiner jeweiligen Pizza und die Konsistenz des Teiges. Die Pasta, Fleisch- und Gerichte sind recht teuer. Ebenso der Wein... für offenen Weiß/Roséwein (itl. Hauswein?) bei 0,2 l 7,50€ aufwärts zu verlangen... Oh ha, wächst ihr italienischer Wein jetzt in der Ukraine 😅

Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen, gute Auswahl an Weine und super Essen.
