Wir waren absolut begeistert von diesem Abend im "Il POMODORO S-West". Zur Begrüßung wurde uns zur Feier ein Sekt eingeschenkt. Nach Empfehlung des Chefs bestellte ich die Pizza Portafoglio mit Rucola, Buffala, Bergtomaten und Pistaziencreme Pesto von der Wochenkarte. Die Pizza war sehr lecker, alles frisch zubereitet und die Pistaziencreme war ein Gedicht. Meine Frau aß die "Saltinbocca alla romana". Sie war auch sehr begeistert. Alle Bedienungen waren sehr nett und haben uns rundum sehr gut bedient. Wir können diese Pizzeria nur wärmstens empfehlen! Wir haben schon einige Pizzerien in vierzig Jahren in Stuttgart besucht, aber keine war so gut wie "Il POMODORO S-West. Wir kommen bestimmt bald wieder!

Leider kann ich absolut keine positive Bewertung für die Pizzeria Il Pomodoro West abgeben. Der Besuch war eine große Enttäuschung und der Service miserabel. Wir haben drei Pizzen bestellt und in zwei von ihnen Verpackungsmüll gefunden. Als wir das an der Kasse reklamierten, wurde unser Anliegen von der Küche ins Lächerliche gezogen. Der Chef der Pizzeria zeigte keinerlei Anzeichen von Bedauern oder Einsicht. Stattdessen wurden wir mit fragwürdigen Erklärungen abgespeist, wie „das passiert halt bei Schinken mit dem Plastik“ oder „ja bei Gorgonzola muss man das halt so aus der Verpackung kramen, ist halt so“. Solche Aussagen sind nicht nur unprofessionell, sondern auch absolut inakzeptabel (ich möchte nicht wissen, wie oft das noch passiert). Der Geschmack der Pizza war ebenfalls enttäuschend, sehr fad, weshalb wir keinen Ersatz wollten. Leider wurde keine anderweitige Lösung angeboten, und das Verhalten des Chefs verschlimmerte die Situation nur noch. Zum Schluss wurden wir mit einer unangebrachten Bemerkung verabschiedet: „andere Deutsche hätten das nicht zurück gegeben“. So zeugt von einem mangelnden Respekt gegenüber den Kunden. Insgesamt war das Essen enttäuschend und der Kundenservice eine Katastrophe. Ich kann diese Pizzeria definitiv nicht weiterempfehlen und rate jedem, sich eine andere Option zu suchen, wenn er einen angenehmen Restaurantbesuch erleben möchte.

A little corner of Italy in the city of Stuttgart. This restaurant, originally owned by Italians, brings together several qualities, from first-class service, fabulous food and very fair prices (much lower than those sold in tourist areas). Recommended for anyone staying in the surrounding area or willing to immerse themselves in Italian cuisine. I recommend it 💯.

We just ordered through Wolt and the “Italian salad” for!!! €10.50!! is an absolute disgrace. A small box of carelessly poured ingredients poured over with dressing. The highlight are the two slices of ham slapped on top. No tuna, no eggs, no peppers. Just a few chunks of parmesan, some brown lettuce, corn and tomato. We won't be ordering anymore. When you call back to the restaurant, you will be bluntly replied that you have never had a complaint, that you are arrogant and that it is more expensive in other restaurants. I'm sorry, but I'd rather leave my money with other Italians who can accept customer criticism objectively and don't fly off the handle with a southern temperament. Conclusion: Absolutely not recommended!

Prices are too high in my opinion... I have rarely seen pizzas for 17 euros even in Florence. I ate spaghetti with truffles. I wouldn't have noticed anything about the truffle if I hadn't seen it. Pasta was rolled in the parmesan wheel for too long, so there was too much cheese on the pasta. Partly clumped. It's a shame that a little truffle oil wasn't used with the thin slices of truffle...The service was definitely first class. Extremely friendly and accommodating. And very quickly. Thanks for that.

Everything was great, but unfortunately the tomatoes and chanterelles dominated the pasta.

The food was fresh and tasted good. The Montepulciano was moderate. However, the Pomodoro is not suitable for a cozy or even romantic evening because there is a constant in and out of walk-in customers and delivery services. What doesn't work at all is the male service. Touched my shoulder twice, even though I clearly said "Don't touch me" the first time. Supposedly touching something increases tips from waitresses, which I think is a rumor from touchy machos. Good contact between strangers is only possible without physical contact.

Quick preparation, great dough and really delicious pizza! Great for a relaxed Sunday evening :).

Hello, I ordered food there Pasta Napoli 6/10 Pizza 7/10 Bruschetta 0/10 Paid about 18 euros for 2x bruschetta; I think you could tell from the picture whether it was worth it, as the employees were even too lazy to chop the tomatoes.

Large menu, reasonable prices, very friendly service. The bruscetta was delicious with lots of parmesan, the pizza was huge with delicious dough from the wood-fired oven, and the pasta with salmon was also very good and plentiful. Absolutely recommended.

Beware of misleading. The large pizza was approximately 30% smaller in area than stated on the menu. Even the box was smaller than the pizza size specified. When I carefully asked whether this was correct, I was approached unfriendly by a lady on the phone. The pizza tasted good. The bruschetta was bland and loveless.

We chose this restaurant based on the good reviews here on Google and were initially a bit surprised by the exterior of the restaurant. Because: from the outside you would have no idea that this is a great, small, Italian restaurant that was really decorated with great attention to detail. If you love the Italian flair and are not put off by the somewhat limited space, this is the place for you. The owners are real full-blooded Italians and you can taste that in the dishes. The pizza was really delicious and is highly recommended. There were locals sitting next to us who also confirmed that the restaurant is run with a lot of passion. We were thrilled and will definitely come back. Above all because of the good price-performance ratio. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant!

A place in a small and cute home environment

Ordered four pizzas and all four were not good. The dough was very watered down by the tomatoes and all the toppings fell off the pizzas. The pizzas tasted very average. Salad was also forgotten. The pizza may be better if you eat locally, but unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this place to order.

Unreliable delivery service - not recommended! Delayed delivery of over 30 minutes or more. When asked, the response is rude and cheeky - that's not possible!!! Definitely the last order - just sad! ….At least the food was good, but that's not all these days.

Unfortunately, absolutely unreliable delivery service. After waiting for an hour and a half, I tried several times to reach the pizzeria by phone, unfortunately no one answered the phone. There was also no response via Whatsapp contact! After 2 1/4 hours still no delivery! Better order somewhere else.

The seafood is great! I can recommend the salmon and squid.

One of our favorite Italians. Very tasty starters, pasta and pizza. Always large portions, value for money is amazing, you really get a lot for your money. Family-run, the staff are all very friendly, we really enjoy spending our evenings here on weekends and during the week. If you like good, down-to-earth, authentic Italian cuisine, you've come to the right place :-) even delivery is always uncomplicated, even possible via WhatsApp. I love it

Edit: got pizza. 1 of them burned at the bottom. The others aren't much better. Very unfortunate. Actually a nice restaurant, but I won't visit again. Old rating: Pizza is like that sometimes. Sometimes really great. Sometimes rather mediocre. If quality were more consistent it would be a top address in the West.

Very nice gastronomy. Great, quick service. Pleasant prices. And the most important: Food was great. Pizza 🍕 Prosciutto funghi! Delicious. Panna cotta molto bene and the espresso anyway. I'd love to come neither.

We actually really enjoyed coming here, but the last few times it was very bad! I have never experienced such bad service. I understand when it's busier than usual, but when you've been waiting for your food for 1.5 hours and she's still not there and you get a cheeky answer about whether you're in a hurry?! Sorry, I no longer understand that! It was my favorite Italian restaurant and I have recommended it to many people, but as of today I will no longer be able to recommend it. A pity!!

Our regular pizzeria in the west of Stuttgart. We mostly eat pizza and salad here. The pizza is awesome. And the salads are always fresh and with different ingredients. Our highlight are the pizza rolls. The service is always attentive and friendly and the atmosphere is familiar. Unbeatable value for money for Stuttgart. At the beginning of February we were here with 20 people after our civil wedding and were thrilled. Everyone ate a la carte. We hardly had to wait, everyone got the right food and the service was great as usual! Many thanks to the whole team and see you soon :)

Small and welcoming pizzeria/restaurant near the hospital, nice atmosphere, even if not very spacious (but it is understandable in the center of Stuttgart). The pizza cooked in a wood oven is excellent, the service is very fast and efficient, the prices are fair . I will definitely go back as unfortunately I will have to stay in Germany for a while. Delicious pinsa and pizza Here is my current favorite Pinsa in Stuttgart. Airy base and always delicious toppings. There is a changing lunch menu every day. And before I forget: vegan dishes can also be found here. The service is always friendly and courteous The furnishings may be a bit old, but we feel comfortable. The restaurant and the toilets are tidy and clean. There is usually even hand cream available. Conclusion: I always like to come back

Absolute italienisches Perle im Westen von Stuttgart. Vom Service bis zur Präsentation und Geschmack einfach authentisch und ehrlich. Kein CHI CHI und so gastfreundlich und dolce Vita vom feinsten. Ich verstehe gar nicht warum ich heute zum ersten Male dort zum Essen war. Wir kommen sehr gerne und öfter wieder.

Das Lokal ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Finde sie könnten die WCs erneuern. Das essen war Okay. Nichts besonderes und danach hatte ich einwenig Magenschmerzen. Alles in allem eine Notfalllösung

Das Pomodoro ist unser Stamm-Italiener. Wir gehen regelmäßig zum Essen hin, ab und an bestellen wir auch unkompliziert via WhatsApp. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich, manchmal etwas eng, was aber nie problematisch ist. Auf jeden Fall reservieren! Das Essen ist überragend, insb. ein Blick auf die Wochenkarte lohnt sich. Service immer freundlich! Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch das Engagement der Besitzer wie bspw. Benefizaktionen für den Förderkreis krebskranker Kinder - super Sache!

Wenn ich in Stuttgart eine gute Pizza essen möchte komme ich hierher :) Sowohl Pizza als auch Pasta sind immer gut. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältniss ist sehr gut. Der Service ist sehr herzlich und freundlich. Denkt daran zu reservieren. Das Restaurant ist immer gut besetzt.

Einer meiner Lieblingsrestaurants der Stadt. Sehr gutes Preis-leistungsverhältnis (auch Studentenfreundlich!) und gemütlich zum sitzen. Empfehle es oft weiter. Probiert unbedingt die Pizza mit der Tomatensoße aus gelben Tomaten!

Abends zum Mitnehmen eine Pizza (Prosciutto e Funghi) bestellt, Preis absolut angemessen (9,50€ für eine große, ca. 33cm), es ging super schnell (ca. 10min warten) und die Pizza war sehr lecker! Knuspriger Boden und Rand!

Locale molto carino, proprietari molto gentili e simpatici, servizio impeccabile e cibo veramente gustoso e fresco. Menzione particolare alla cuoca per i suoi spaghetti al polpo!! Straordinari!!

Auch wenn wir gefühlt schon ewig nicht mehr hier einkehrten, das Wiederkommen lohnt sich, auch nach dem Wechsel des Eigentümer vor 6Jahren. Die Pizzen sind unschlagbar, die Weinkarte genial sortiert und die Atmosphäre ist einfach phantastisch. Nun dauert es nicht wieder länger, wir kommen nächsten Monat erneut und freuen uns schon sehr.
