We've been to you many times and eaten something. Today we picked up something to eat for the third time. The third time a complete disaster. Unfortunately, you won't see us again for a while.

That was a great restaurant but now the prices are beyond outrageous. 🤢😱 Never again. And then at 10:30 p.m. - on Friday - we had to leave the restaurant because they wanted to close even though there were other tables there. I'm speechless.

The food is OK. Unfortunately, the waiters seem very overwhelmed and take their bad mood out on the guests. Too bad :/

As always, the food, conditions and ambience have been at a consistently high level for 40 years. As a guest, you simply can't go wrong here if you eat at Guido's. 😀👍

One of the best gluten-free pizzas and the best gluten-free pizza in Regensburg. Have been there several times. Very friendly and fast staff. No long waiting times for the food. Nice atmosphere inside and outside on the terrace in summer. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends! Also very tasty “normal” pizzas and pasta. Definitely always happy to come back!

We were there again today after a long time and were massively disappointed. There were hardly any tables occupied for a Friday evening. When we first looked at the map we were already thinking about going somewhere else. The prices are more like big city prices!! The service was very nice and the free panini as an appetizer were very tasty. We ordered two pizzas and were shocked at the size when they arrived. The size corresponds to a children's pizza in other Italian restaurants! The taste was okay, but not the yellow of the egg. All in all, a clear no-go when you consider the price-performance ratio. The prices are so exorbitant for the mini portions. The restaurant has a lot of potential but nothing is being done about it. Sorry, but we're not coming anymore!

Da wir in der Gegend zu tun hatten, wollten wir schnell in der Sport- / Tennisgaststätte "Taormina" in Regensburg Dürerstrasse essen. Bedienung / Empfang sehr nett, Ausstattung des Lokals Sportgaststätte. Ich habe vorher noch niemals Spaghetti Bolognese zu EUR 15,70 gegessen. Es waren kein Original Ragout wie in Bologna üblich, es war reines Schweinehack, das verarbeitet wurde. Grundkosten des Gerichts 100 gr Schweinehack, ein paar Nudeln, etwas Gewürz und Hugo = EUR 2,00 Einstandskosten. Warum der Eigentümer vom Taormina mit dem 7,5 fachen Kalkulationssatz arbeiten muss bei einem Grot- und Buttergericht wie Spaghetti al Rau erschliesst sich nicht. Eine 24 cm Pizza Napoli kostet EUR 14,00. Die Gerichte sind nicht schlecht, aber irgendwie hat der Eigentümer die Postleitzahl und die Hausnummer in die Preise der Gerichte mit eingerechnet.

We had pizza, pasta and a small salad. The base of the pizza was nice and thin and really crispy with a lot of toppings and flavor 👌🏼 The pasta was hot al forno and with the right amount of cheese. The only drawback from our point of view is the location, as it is located in the tennis club's sports hall. Otherwise really recommended 👍🏻

It is incredible that a restaurant of excellent quality has a waitress who does not show empathy towards customers. Maybe because they are foreigners? We were a group of 3 people and this lady offered us a table for 2. By the way, the day before I tried to make a reservation and they told me that it was not necessary. Finally the boss gives us a table for 4 and she showed her discontent. The restaurant offers some appetizers of pizza dough balls with tomato sauce, delicious. We asked another waitress if we could have more of this entree. The not at all pleasant waitress comes with an exorbitant amount of this entree, I told her, we didn't order this, she takes the plate and later comes back saying that they wouldn't charge us for this. Restaurant has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, this is not fully exploited. Food was very tasty and also sufficient. Prices are also on the higher side, but the quality is there. Unfortunately, some little things are missing, such as lemon in the water, a glass straw instead of a paper straw in an iced coffee, etc. Unfortunately I have to mention the gentleman from the service negatively: we waited at least 10 minutes before we were even allowed to order, even though there wasn't too much going on. It should also be noted that we were the last to be charged, even though we were the first to say that we wanted to pay. The other table was even surprised that the bill was brought even though they wanted to stay! You really noticed that you were being thrown out! Therefore an overall rating of 3 stars. Definitely upside in service potential!

Now Taormina is becoming megalomaniacal…..the prices are no longer relevant…..and the food is just mediocre……no longer recommended.

You can also exaggerate the price increases: Pasta with pork fillet strips recently €14 - now €18 for a smaller quantity. Salad with tuna, egg, artichoke and panini €16. This definitely means: We only come on special occasions and no longer once a month. Update 5/2024: Became even more expensive :-(

Plenty of selection of wonderfully delicious Italian dishes! Pasta and pizza are very good. Cozy atmosphere, service extremely friendly and understandable👍 Great value for money!

I was there on April 15th. with my family there for dinner. The outside of the building wasn't particularly inviting, but the restaurant can't help it. That's why I don't rate it. Inside the restaurant is very nicely decorated. You can see that the operators and staff make an effort to create a pleasant atmosphere. It is modern but at the same time elegantly furnished. Our waitress was always friendly and had a smile on her face, and changes to the (children's) menu were no problem. I think it's particularly worth mentioning that the child's drink wasn't served ice cold. But it was just slightly cool. Of course it could have been a coincidence, but given the way the service staff behaved, I assume they were paying attention. It's not cheap anywhere anymore, but the portion sizes are appropriate for the price and absolutely delicious. We had the gnocchi gorgonzola, rigatoni? and a small heart-shaped pizza for the child. As a bonus, we got a scoop of ice cream on the house. It was a really nice evening.

Thank you for this nice gluten-free, lactose free pizza! Food and service were worth. Our dog was welcome as well. Strong smell from cooking in the restaurant which was noticeable at the beginning.

I lost my breath when I saw the prices!!! In some cases up to 10 euros more expensive. Sorry, but in my opinion it's too expensive for an Italian who cooks normally and only uses a lot of cream and oil! For higher prices you also have to offer more. That doesn't work. Price performance is not right. Just usury! I'm not going in there anymore! But I've heard from many others that they don't go in anymore because of the prices.

The establishment looks very good and modern. We arrived without prior reservation on a Sunday around 6 pm and we got a table and service quickly. It is the first Italian restaurant where I order extra pineapple and I get a maximum of 5 pieces of pineapple but without any flavor. The waitress explained to me that they didn't taste like anything since they come in cans, I still ended up paying for that extra even though I had to remove the pineapple from the pizza and leave it all aside. What is the point of asking for an extra ingredient and that ingredient has no flavor whatsoever? After my little observation we ordered a dessert but it took a long time and it was just ice cream, I hope it wasn't because of the observation I made. Anyway, the overall experience was good and the pizza was delicious.

The food has been very good for many years, the prices have always been high, but that's what people wanted to afford. Now you can't afford it anymore. Before the corona pandemic, for example, Linguine Rossini cost €12.50, now it costs €20.20. The salmon with vegetables cost €24.90, now €34.90. The prices are no longer proportional! You lost me as a guest.

Very simple but nice Italian restaurant on or in a sports club. You can also get a table without a reservation or we went there just by chance. We were fed extremely well. Service was always on site, so you never had to wait long for a drink or food. Prices are completely humane.

Pizza, pasta, seafood and mozzarella with tomatoes were eaten at our table. Everything tasted good. The waitresses were friendly. But the prices are shockingly high.

Really tasty food, huge portions. You can ask for kid's portions of normal food. The normal portion is basically double of what you get in other places. Kid's friendly - there are toys for kids. Playground outside. Although we had a language barrier, the staff managed with us and were really friendly.

I've been going to Taormina for several years: The fact that the ambience is nothing special is nothing new. Nevertheless, it is bright and nicely decorated inside. The service was good, there were about 5 waiters available, which was a bit too much... now to the most important thing, the food. Since I usually always eat rigatoni or tortellini, I decided to try a pizza. This was the size of a cookie and was quite disappointing. As described, the pizza was very small, but the price was even higher. The price increases in Taormina are bordering on outrageous. We paid €46 (€50 with tip) for two pizzas, a cheap bottle of wine and two espressos. This is definitely too much!!

We have been going to this restaurant for meals with the family for many years, but the last time we were there in February/24 I was struck by how the prices had been raised. I lost all of my appetite and I was happy when we were able to leave again so that I didn't have to sell another kidney so that I could still order something. Therefore, unfortunately we will have to look for another favorite Italian.

We used to be guests several times. The prices gradually increased so much that we decided to eat somewhere else in the future. Today we tried again with a to-go order. What can I say, the prices are now far from reality. A normal salad €18, a pizza the size of a frozen pizza €14, rigatoni €19 (!). The taste is good but totally average, tastes like a normal Italian, nothing exclusive/gourmet. The atmosphere there is so-so because the restaurant is in a tennis hall, toilets outside in the public area, like school toilets. For these prices you can eat in completely different restaurants. Price-performance ratio absolutely does not match. As a customer you feel left out.

I have been a guest at Taormina off and on for about 30 years. I have eaten the same salad many times and can therefore compare the quality and quantity quite well. My favorite salad Fantasia now costs 19 euros!!! The majority of it is now cheap iceberg lettuce and, among other things, one! whole olive. For me and some friends I spoke to, it's just outrageous. Poorer quality for higher prices. No thanks! Never again! A pity...

I've been there several times, mostly by invitation. The Italian is in the building of a sports facility, but the inside is beautifully designed. Taormina is definitely a good choice for pizza. The other dishes are of good quality and taste. In terms of price, the restaurant is in the upper midfield. Unfortunately, something is always wrong with my food and I'm not talking about special requests here. One time I ate a risotto with mussels. 2/3 of the mussels came closed. In my opinion, they shouldn't end up on the plate at all. On the other visit I ordered pasta from the current special menu. My companion had almost finished her pizza when my dish finally arrived. The wrong. I was asked if I would still eat it. Certainly a sustainable idea, since I eat a mainly vegetarian, occasionally pescatarian diet, pasta filled with meat was not for me. Too bad. The actual dish was lukewarm and was a bit too empty for my taste. Pasta with sauce and a few pieces of zucchini for 15 euros. There were a lot of waitresses on the way, but unfortunately we were left stranded for quite a long time. Only after we pointed it out again after about 30 minutes did we get new drinks. Most of the time it is quite loud, warm and stuffy in Taormina. During the last visit it also smelled burnt for a long time.

Unfortunately it has become incredibly expensive. For lunch, a really small, simple portion of pasta with an absolutely unspectacular side salad (€6.70!) and a little water for just €25. Not again.

The latest price increase is absolutely outrageous (sometimes 3-4€ more per dish!!). Yes, the VAT was increased again and everything became more expensive, but the prices were not adjusted downwards when it was reduced, but were already increased. Please someone calculate 19€ for a salad for me first. This will be our last visit for now. It's a shame actually...

With all my love, increasing the price of the Fantasia salad from €16 to €19 isn't possible. When the VAT was reduced, the price was not adjusted, but rather increased. And when the VAT was increased, it was immediately increased again. I have been a guest here for years with many friends and acquaintances. Not like that, there are other pizzerias that haven't raised their prices so outrageously. For me this was it.

We liked going to Taormina, but the prices are now outrageous. When a pasta dish costs over €20, grilled calamari, saltimbocca "dizzying" prices... and that in a restaurant that is affiliated with a club and certainly has a manageable rent; VERY Pity!

We have always enjoyed ordering from Taormina for a long time and so far we have actually been very satisfied, even though it has always been expensive as a pick-up price. But now it's just almost outrageous. For 2 portions of penne al forno and a portion of pizza rolls, which by the way has shrunk to half the portion and is more expensive, we now pay €40! I actually wonder where the proportionality is. It's a shame, but we will have to significantly reduce our orders here in the future...

Hier werden Sie garantiert abgezockt. Die Preise des "echten Italiener " sind eine Frechheit. Für einen Insalata Calamaretti 21,30 Euro oder Rigattinoi Speciali für 20,20 Euro zum mitnehmen mit 7 Prozent Mehrwertsteuer sind nicht nachvollziehbar, da im Lokal die gleichen Gerichte mit 19 % zum selben Preis angeboten werden. Die Preise wurden 2023 mehrfach erhöht, die Qualität hat im gleichen Umfang nachgelassen. Die Mehrwertsteuersenkung wurde nicht weitergegeben, aber die Erhöhung wurde sofort aufgeschlagen. Wir werden dieses Lokal nicht mehr besuchen.

Lange Wartezeit, Essen war nicht fertig zubereitet

Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren immer wieder gerne mit der Familie zum Essen in dieses Restaurant. Das Produkt ist von guter Qualität, der Service und das Ambiente sind in Ordnung. Die aktuellen Preiserhöhungen sind eine absolute Frechheit. Jeder versteht, dass sich auch in der Gastronomie die Kosten erhöht haben und deshalb Preise angepasst werden. Dabei müssen trotzdem Preis und Leistung weiterhin im Gleichgewicht bleiben. Es ist am Ende ein ganz normales italienisches Restaurant und keine Sterne Küche. Die aktuell aufgerufenen Preise sind absolut überzogen. Für das gleiche Geld bekommt man auch heute noch in anderen Lokalen eine um Klassen bessere Küche. Unter diesen Bedingungen sind wir das letzte Mal zu Gast in diesem Restaurant gewesen. Sehr schade.

Aperol Spritz für 9,90 Euro in einem nicht all zu großen Glas und nur halbvoll eingeschenkt, Muscheln für 20 Euro in kaum gewürzter einfacher Tomatensoße, Spagetti in Tomatensauce mit Rucola für 17,40 Euro.... da hat für uns das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr gepasst und geschmacklich war es auch nicht der Hit. Werden als langjährige Kunden wahrscheinlich so schnell nicht mehr kommen. Sehr schade.

Seit Jahren waren wir Gäste im Taormina, schon als es bei der Bowling Bahn war. Der Besuch vor zwei Wochen mit Freunden hat uns allerdings den Rest gegeben. Nicht allein, dass die Pizza den kleineren Tellern angepasst wurden, sogar die Auflaufform der Rigatoni Speziali ist nun kleiner und wirkt verloren auf der nun zu großen Servierplatte. Dass sich die Preise verdoppelt haben im Gegensatz dazu, scheint ja normal zu werden 😏. Sehr schade, Regensburger wissen anscheinend längst Bescheid und gaben uns interessante alternative Tipps

Das beste italienische Restaurant! Sehr leckere Lasagne, schöne Ambiente und nette weihnachtliche Geschenke

Dieser Betrieb arbeitet einfach vollkommen professionell. Das Essen ist hervorragend gut. Ich habe das Taormina schon viele Male besucht und war mit dem Service immer zufrieden. Alles geschieht reibungslos. Selbst wenn viel los ist und das kommt oft vor... In letzter Zeit ist mir aufgefallen, dass es bei der Abholung Fertiggerichte zu kaufen gibt. Ich persönlich bin eigentlich kein Fan von Fertigkost. Aber an dieser Ware kann man nichts aussetzen. Es handelt sich um einfache und gute Gerichte, die unter einer Schutzhülle lange haltbar sind. Schmeckt wie in der Gastronomie. Keine Konservierungsstoffe... Zu erwähnen ist jedoch auch, das Taormina ist hochpreisig.

Wir bestellen regelmäßig zum Abholen und es ist jedesmal sehr lecker. Die Abholung am separaten Fenster ist bequem. Essen immer gut verpackt und daheim noch schön warm. Heute war der Chef persönlich da. Ein echter Italiener mit Charme. Als Mitgabe haben wir 2 Alla Mama Fertiggerichte bekommen. Die sind richtig lecker für daheim wenn’s schnell gehen soll. Wir kommen wieder weil ihr einfach gut seit.

Alles war gut: Pizza, Nudeln, Fleisch, Salat, usw. – außer ein paar Fliegen, die den ganzen Abend über um unser Essen geflogen sind. Trotz des Winters waren sie gesund und hartnäckig darin, uns zu stören.

Top Essen und Top Ambiente, schade das es in einem Tennishalle versteckt wird.

Wir waren heute das erste mal an einem Sonntag hier essen. Eine tolle und reichhaltige Speisekarte für jeden Geschmack. Wir hatten überbackene Rigatoni und Saltimbocca. Das Essen ist richtig lecker und der Service ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Der einzige Makel war, die unerträgliche Hitze in dem Raum. Dadurch konnten wir auch für kein Dessert bleiben.

Essen war dort sehr lecker. Wir hatten zur Vorspeise pizzabrötchen mit Knoblauch und Tomatensoße, mega lecker! Als Hauptspeise hatte ich saltimbocca Alla Romana, was sehr lecker war. Dazu kann man die Beilagen frei wählen aus Pommes, gebratenes Gemüse, Spaghetti usw. Ich hatte das gebratene Gemüse, was noch knackig aber gut gebraten war. Dazu gab es noch einen Beilagensalat und nochmal Brötchen, also sehr reichliches Essen. Im Restaurant ist es sehr warm und voll, spontan wird man dort vermutlich keinen Platz finden.

Hatte gestern Weihnachtsfeier und es war alles top Essen wirklich auf sehr hohem Niveau. Der Service muss sagen unsere Bedienung ,Selina ist da Wahnsinn sie liebt ihren Job denke ich denn die wusste bei der Nachbestellung was wir für einen Wein hatten.

Wir waren zu dritt abends zum essen da. Schönes Lokal, ein wenig hellhörig und leider bei vollem Betrieb ziemlich stickig. Das Essen war gut, aber weiß Gott kein Schnäppchen! Bei allem Wohlwollen, Tischwäsche rechtfertigt keine Preise wie 42 Euro für Wolfsbarsch (kein Wildfang!) oder Rumpsteaks mit kleiner Beilage für 38.- Euro. Pizza und Pasta ebenfalls ein Ticken zu teuer. Reservierungen werden leider nicht angenommen, sodas ein Besuch immer ein Glücksspiel ist. Ist insgesamt okay, hat aber deutlich Luft nach oben.

Ein bisschen versteckt bzw. unscheinbar in einem Industriegebiet bei einer Tennishalle. Heute mit dem kleinen Junior als Bedienung - alle sehr nett und zuvorkommend! Die Pizzabrötchen als Willkommensgruß sind ausgesprochen lecker. Zur Pizza könnten allerdings passendere Sägemesser gereicht werden.

Stark besuchtes Lokal. Viele Mitarbeiter im Service. Sehr aufmerksam, schnell und nett. Pizza ist okay, Teig sehr gut, Geschmack irgendwie ausbaufähig. Besuch empfehlenswert. Vielleicht auch einfach mal Cozze probieren, es gibt eine reichliche Auswahl und Tagesangebote.

Das Essen ist gut, aber die Preise sind völlig überzogen. Preis Leistung leider nur ausreichend.

Diese Lokalität wirkt von außen etwas unspektakulär, entpuppt sich dann jedoch als wirklich gutes italienisches Restaurant. Schön eingerichteter Gastraum mit bequemen Bänken und Stühlen, nur etwas hoher Geräuschpegel. Die Bedienung war richtig liebenswert und sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, echt klasse. Die Speisekarte bietet eine richtig große Auswahl an verschiedensten Gerichten, neben den typischen Klassikern auch ein paar Besonderheit wie zum Beispiel Fusilli mit Rinderfiletspitzen, Lammcarree vom Grill oder Salsiccia al forno. Sehr angenehm ist der Gruß aus der Küche, aber das Preisniveau ist schon relativ hoch und am oberen Ende der Preisspanne angesiedelt. Auf dem etwas unspektakulären Foto sind Tortellini Chef zu sehen. Die haben echt gut geschmeckt, aber 17 Euro sind ehrlich gesagt schon etwas grenzwertig dafür.

Sehr leckeres Essen, und extrem gastfreundliche Mitarbeiter. Es gab eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit und zum Ende noch ein Eis aufs Haus für die Kleinen. Die Pizza war nichts spezielles, aber dafür schon etwas gehoben im Preis. Alles in einem zu empfehlen.

Wir waren vier Erwachsene und vier Kinder und haben ohne Reservierung im Innenbereich einen großen Tisch zugewiesen bekommen. Der Service war toll - unaufdringlich, ungezwungen, ein paar lustige Sprüche und sehr herzlich zu den Kindern! Das Essen hat uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt! Pizza, Pasta, Pommes...alles war wirklich sehr fein! Zum Abschluss gab's noch ne Kugel Eis für die Kids aufs Haus...was will man mehr! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Ich war schon oft zum Mittagessen mit meiner Tochter im Taormina. Wir sind immer wieder begeistert vom entspannte Ambiente, leckerem Essen und dem aufmerksamen Service! Macht weiter so!

Seit über 30 Jahren gleichbleibend gute Qualität und hervorragende Küche. Freundlicher, schneller Service. Wenn der Chef im Haus ist, gleich noch eine Spur aufmerksamer. Parkplätze vorm Haus! Was will man mehr?

Maria, eine sehr höfliche, zuvorkommende Mitarbeiterin im Service, hat uns kulinarisch verzaubert! Fusilli vento und Pizza Fiamma! Sehr lecker! Vielen Dank für den hervorragenden Service Maria!

9,90€ für ein Glas Aperol…? In Summe 60€ für ein ganz normales Abendessen von zwei Personen….? Puuuuh 🙈

Hidden Gem Absolut eine super Pizzaria. - Service ist super, wir haben nur eine Pizza abgeholt und mussten noch 5 Min warten..da wurde und ein Getränk unserer Wahl aufs Haus angeboten. Top! -Die Pizzen schmecken hervorragend - Es wird sogar glutenfreier Pizzateig angeboten Vielen Dank und gerne wieder! *Hinweis* Eine Pizza Hawaii ist hier mit Pilzen ^^

Guter Service, gutes Essen,sehr empfehlenswert

Es war trotz Montag ein volles Lokal. Das Essen (Pizza) war sehr gut. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich trotz möglichem Stress mit den vielen Gästen. Die Getränke hatten ein wenig gedauert, aber das war eigentlich klar. Schaut von außen sehr unscheinbar ist, dürfte aber ein kleiner Geheimtipp sein. Kartenauswahl sehr gut.

Guido und sein Restaurant gibt es ja schon gefühlte Ewigkeit ;) Auch die alten bekannten a la Chef Pasta Gerichte - lecker wie eh und je :) Aber dass es dort auch echt richtig leckere Glutenfreie Pizzen gibt, ist absolut klasse!!!! So als Sportgaststätte neben Tennishalle nicht der optische Überflieger, aber super Service und sehr gut gegessen!

Als geschäftlich Alleinreisender nicht zu empfehlen. Es wurde vom Hotel aus angerufen ob Platz ist für eine Einzelperson ist, dies wurde zugesagt. Nach längerer Wartezeit im Restaurant wurde einem mitgeteilt es kann noch länger dauern -andere Gäste die nach mir kamen haben eher einen Tisch bekommen- Fazit geh da nie allein hin wird wohl nicht gewünscht
