Ristorante – Pizzeria San Daniele im Regensburger Hof in Landshut

I've never had worse anywhere. Karmelo's was a great place, and I wouldn't recommend it.

We ate there last year. The prices were quite high, but the pizza, pasta, etc. were adequate and good. BUT two weeks ago, we ordered two pizzas and a curry to pick up. The price was around €15 per pizza, and the vegetarian curry was €13. The pizzas were so small that I thought the box size was a mistake. I've had a quarter of a larger pizza packed at other pizzerias. Not recommended for pick-up; the price/performance ratio is ridiculous. I don't know if the pizzas there are as big as they used to be. We don't go there anymore, or order anything. For €43, I expect more.

You definitely have the worst schnitzel with a muddy coating...

Today, four of us were guests at the Regensburger Hof. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening with excellent food, and reasonably priced in the truest sense of the word. The pizzas were completely homemade, as was the vegetarian Indian dish. Everything was homemade, right down to the spice blends for the various dishes. So if you like it a little spicier—or the exact opposite—just specify it when ordering. The staff, including the chef, who is also active in the restaurant, did a wonderful job. Unfortunately, we had to leave the restaurant at some point, completely satisfied—but we'll definitely be back!

Very good food and friendly owner

Update 7.25 Highly recommended. Reasonable portions where you'll feel full. Lovely restaurant with a winter garden. Relatively busy on a Friday evening. Reservations are recommended. The servers are very attentive. However, there's a slight point deduction because our two meals were served five minutes apart. The pizza oven is in the middle of the restaurant and is freshly made in a stone oven. The tagliatelle with salmon was exceptionally good!!!

We went there again for pizza and were appalled at how poor the service has become. The wait times to order were long, and both pizzas were tomato-heavy, meaning they only tasted of tomato sauce. I had ordered a bottle of still water and asked for the bottle to be closed to ensure that what was advertised on the label was actually in the bottle! Unfortunately, the water bottle arrived with a broken ring. The waiter claimed the bottle was closed and brought a photo of three bottles with the same broken plastic ring. Since they deliberately tried to defraud us as customers, we will no longer visit this restaurant with this owner. Unfortunately, in a relatively short time, about two years, the service and product quality have deteriorated so much! The following review was our last review before this new experience: PIZZAS taste very good. The service we received from a lady was also very good. Prices were a bit high, but still OK. The dining room wasn't heated enough; it was a bit cold.

We arrived and were greeted very warmly. It was hot, but the beer garden was still shaded at lunchtime. There were five of us and we had pizzas, rigatoni, and Wiener schnitzel. Everything tasted great, and the portions were generous. They kept asking if we needed anything and if everything was okay. We'll be back.

We ordered earlier, and everything arrived as requested, still piping hot, and tasted fantastic! Regensburger Hof has once again proven that it's truly the best delivery service in all of Landshut! The balsamic dressing is a dream, the spaghetti arrabiata is fruity and fiery, and the pizzas are absolutely top-notch. We'd love to come back again, thank you so much 👏🏼

Great restaurant, delicious food and beautiful winter garden

I've never seen a pizza coated in corn flour before—the pizza dough was disappointing, and what a pity about the oven.

We went there for dinner on my birthday. The food was of the highest quality and everything was freshly prepared. It was very good value for money. Our thanks go to the entire team at the Regensburger Hof for their hospitality; you just feel at home here.

Totally unreliable delivery service. Ordered through Lieferando. Delivery times kept changing. Once and never again! Stay away from this delivery service!

Delivery driver doesn't understand German and doesn't have any change, despite being told to. He rings the doorbell despite repeated requests to call, and I have to drive to the gas station, etc., to get change. Another delivery driver embezzled €10 from the change and didn't see it despite repeated recalculations. I'm disappointed.

I have ordered pizza there twice and each time the delivery was super fast, the food was still warm and very tasty.

Good atmosphere and delicious food

Die Pasta von meiner Frau war OK … mehr aber auch nicht. Den Preis dafür find ich persönlich überzogen. Eine absolute Frechheit fand ich die angebliche Pizza. Wenn man die Soße nicht mitzählt, waren darauf nur 2 Zutaten und keins davon war Käse. Das war nicht mehr als ein Pizzabrot für rund 15€. Das war das letzte Mal das sie an uns verdient haben.

We had different dishes that came almost at the same time. The pasta was matchy, the pizzas tasted bland and the base had something like cardboard. The other pasta dish was too salty. The wines tasted okay. Relatively long waiting times. We currently do not think the restaurant is recommended.

The food was super good. We had pizza, fish and Indian food. Everything tasted good. In terms of price it was completely okay. We'd love to come back

Tagliatelle with salmon, the salmon was spoiled!!!

Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was disappointing. After waiting for 70 minutes, I finally received my steak. Although it was prepared “English” as requested, it was ice cold – as were the side dishes. The potatoes seemed carelessly prepared, and the herb butter was so cold that it didn't even melt on the meat. The entire plate looked unappealing, with no attention to detail whatsoever. Overall, a disappointing experience that I cannot recommend.

Super delicious food, we had noodles, tikka masala, pizza and a tiramisu for dessert. Service was also very friendly. Would love to come back here.

Reserved at midday for evening. Luckily there wasn't much going on in the evening and we got a table, but there wasn't a reservation. The restaurant is clean and makes a good impression. We sat in the winter garden and really thought about whether we should put our jackets back on because it was really cold. After about 5 minutes we were able to order the drinks, which were served quickly. We waited a total of 30 minutes to place our food order. The preparation then took another 25 minutes. We ordered: grill plate, salmon fillet and scampi. So much for the facts. Now to the actual impression. The service is overwhelmed and reorganized. The lady obviously had no interest in service. Everything was a problem for her. No smile and unfriendly. The food was a disaster: everything on the grill plate was burnt or tough. The rice and chips were edible, but nothing more. The scampies were shrimp - a disgrace. Also frozen and thrown into the pan frozen. The plate was also cold, so the shell didn't come off properly after the 3 shrimp. The potatoes were boiled and then burned in the pan. The salmon fillet was drowned in butter. I prefer to buy the fillet itself at the supermarket next door. The sauce congealed and was not edible. The consistency of the risotto was good, but completely greasy and, since very cheap cheese was used, it was unfortunately no longer edible. For the prices I can't understand the otherwise good reviews here. Many of the other tables also had their dishes returned. We'll never come here again.

We were in this restaurant for the first time today – and definitely for the last time. The reception was already unfriendly: no greeting, we were only noticed after our own intervention. The waitress seemed overwhelmed and didn't know the menu. The waiting times were far too long: 20 minutes to order drinks, 30 minutes to order food. The quality of the food was an absolute disappointment. My husband had a salmon plate for €22.90 - a huge portion of greasy rice with cheap cheese plus 2 pieces of salmon (LIDL) and clotted sauce. Inedible! My scampi plate for €25.90 turned out to be a shrimp plate - six pieces, obviously frozen, with mini potatoes. My son's grill plate (€23.90) consisted of a burnt sausage, a meat skewer, paper-thin chicken and pork bacon - all tough and also burnt. Plus some fries and rice. Obviously, cheap finished products from discounters are being sold here as high-quality goods - and at completely exorbitant prices. The waitress “couldn’t explain what was going on in the kitchen today.” But we weren't the only ones with this experience: several guests sent their food back. Conclusion: Inferior products, poor preparation and completely overpriced. Savings are made wherever possible – at the expense of the guests. Absolutely not recommended!

Very warm, super tasty, great atmosphere. Totally child friendly :)

Even though we were there on Valentine's Day without a reservation, an effort was made to find a spot for the two of us. That worked. We were given 1 1/2 hours because they were otherwise fully booked. That was true because it was completely full when we were done. The food was served quickly and we were ready in plenty of time to have another cappuccino. We spent 48 euros for a chicken masala and a pizza tikka with two white beers. Not crazy at all. The pizza was visibly freshly made in the brick oven It is striking that the restaurant pretends to be Mediterranean, but a full page of the menu is also Indian. And we thought we saw some of the staff too. All in all, served quickly and the food was very good for the price.

Spontaneously went in at Cambridge without a reservation. They did have room, but we had to be ready on time or come back later. The time given was more than enough and we set off. The pizza was freshly made in the brick oven in front of us.

Chicken Tikka Masala was very tasty. My colleagues’ pizzas are also recommended.

A great restaurant in the heart of Regensburg, the cuisine is excellent! Custom changes are made when requested and the service is great too. Can only be warmly recommended, great!

Unfortunately a disappointment. Despite lots of positive reviews, I am disappointed with my pizza order. The quality of the ingredients is below average. The pizza was swimming in fat, there was dough but there was hardly any flavor in any way. I had the order delivered, on time, but in the end the product wasn't convincing. If you want a high quality pizza, I advise against this.

Food was good, Mediterranean and Indian cuisine. Service was very friendly and parking spaces were also available, in an emergency at Lidl.

We reserved a table here for dinner on Saturday evening, which I would recommend, as it was very busy at the end. The menu leaves nothing to be desired. The waitress is very friendly and accommodating. I'm deducting one star from the 5 stars because, unfortunately, we didn't get our food at the same time, and two people were almost finished while the last meal arrived. Otherwise, highly recommended, even for children.

Selten so schlecht gegessen! Sämtliche Pizzen und Bruschette waren angekokelt. Weinschorle billigster Fusel! Fleisch war total zäh. Dafür horrende Preise. Nicht empfehlenswert. Nie wieder! Ein Stern ist noch zuviel.

We were there for dinner. We had to wait over an hour for our food. No one asked for a second drink. When our food finally arrived, I wanted salt, pepper, and garlic oil. I got the salt and pepper myself, and I'm still waiting for the garlic oil today!!!!!! It seemed like a friendly deal to us; everyone who came after us who wasn't of our nationality got their food first!!!!! The staff were extremely overwhelmed and had no idea about the restaurant industry. Paid without getting a bill!!!!! Sorry, this place is a no-go!!!!!!

This restaurant was fantastic. We all ordered something different from the Bolognese to Rigatoni and all the plates were great. Very fresh and great flavors. They also have Indian food and pizza. It’s very cozy inside and service was good. We would definitely go again!

Service with exquisite courtesy and attentiveness. Pizzas were great, dough and toppings were absolutely top in terms of quantity and consistency, even by Italian standards. Kudos to the pizzaiolo! Since the operator is of Indian descent, you can also get dishes from the local cuisine (level of spiciness adapted to European palates). The menu is sensibly kept smaller, but the quality of the food is high, which you can tell from the taste. The furnishings are simple and beautiful and everything is super clean!

Ordered from Regensburger Hof for the first time today (Sunday) at lunchtime. Wood-fired pizza sounded very interesting. Delivery took a little longer than stated, but as expected, the pizza was no longer very hot. With a journey time of around 20 minutes, we didn't expect it to be any different. Pizza tastes really first class. The dough and the ingredients are really great. Nice and thin, well topped, the edge a little bigger but really tasty. Gladly again!

Ordered something online this week and it only took 15 minutes from door to door. Food is super delicious!! Today we were there to pick up, everyone is very friendly and once again it went very quickly. Thank you!!

We have been here several times and the food and service have always been very good. The mix of Indian and Italian food is great. One of our favorite places.

Ordered there for the first time today, I have to say we were very dissatisfied 😕 the food tasted bland and there were things in the food that didn't belong there, for example in my husband's butter chicken there were woody shavings in the sauce and some solid brown piece ( could be a bone splinter). I also think it is very expensive Conclusion: I wouldn't order there again

The outside area could be spruced up a bit, e.g. through plants, palm trees 🌴 flowers. This would separate the terrace somewhat from the street. The food was excellent and the portions were large. The scampi was plentiful with delicious small potatoes. A little dip would be nice with it. Spaghetti very good. Finally, a thank you from the house. Will come again

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal hier beim Essen .Das erste mal im kleinen Kreis . Nachdem wir sehr überzeugt waren, habe ich mein Geburtstagsessen mit der ganzen Familie dort verbracht . Alle acht Personen waren 100% zufrieden. Der Service, das Essen alles super! Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Der Chef ist sehr sympathisch ! Interessant ist die sehr umfangreiche ,internationale Speisekarte. So findet jeder etwas nach seinem Geschmack ! Wir kommen wieder , und werden das Lokal weiter empfehlen.

Today there were eight of us (family celebration) having dinner at the Regensburger Hof. The atmosphere is very modern, chic and yet cozy, which you wouldn't expect from the outside. The menu is very varied, from Indian to Italian and good bourgeois, there is everything. This means there is something for every taste and every age group. The boss is very nice and accommodating. Service was great, very quick but not hectic either. We had food from all different areas and everything was excellent. The restaurant is really highly recommended

Always worth a visit. Delicious food, be it wood-fired pizza, pasta or Indian. Great portafilter, which is becoming increasingly rare... The host Guapal is very service-oriented. In terms of space, the best has been brought out of the "old courtyard", especially the separet is modern and elegant. I'm looking forward to the terraces in summer. Processes work well, even after such a short startup. Wittmann Spezi on tap is highly recommended. Parking spaces available opposite the discounter.

Friendly service. There has probably been a change of ownership but the man at the pizza oven is probably still the same.

Ordered something to pick up. The carpaccio would simply be placed on top of the hot dishes, so it would be partially cooked. A portion that was far too small for the price, the meat had a strange taste and the quality left a lot to be desired. There was also something small blue slimy in there that looked like a worm. unfortunately my partner saw this too late and we hope he doesn't get food poisoning. Half of them were thrown away after noticing. We also ordered shrimp for 25 euros and there were no vegetables, just potatoes that tasted like they had been pre-cooked days before. The noodles just taste boring and we wanted to try the mother mushroom. Bread was placed on the rice (of course it was soggy afterwards) and next to it there was actually just sauce with a few mushrooms. Are disappointed, never again!

A heartfelt recommendation! Lovingly run business with very attentive service. We celebrated a family celebration in the winter garden, but there is also a very nice side room with its own small terrace. The prices are more than fair for Landshut, we have eaten there before and will definitely come back.

Here you will find the best pizza and food cooked with love in Landshut. I have known the owner for 1.5 years and he is a very friendly person and takes great care of his guests. I can recommend this restaurant!! My tip: Try the zander fillet here, it tastes sooooo good.

I can't understand the good reviews. The food is mediocre at best, often a disaster. 3/4 people had food poisoning immediately after the visit. The waiters' knowledge of German or English was so poor that it was sometimes impossible to order. What came to the table wasn't what we ordered, but it didn't matter as long as the food was good. But it didn't fit. Overall, the tone was very unpleasant, the food wasn't good, but the price was already high. I won't come anymore. The decor is pretty though!

But anyone in the catering industry who has such a great wood-fired oven and then uses ready-made (pre-baked) pizza bases is simply not doing themselves any favors. Really a shame! I hope the boss changes the subject; a reason not to visit this restaurant anymore.

I found my pizza very tasty. However, I had a small special order. The service was very competent, humorous and fast. He accepted our many special orders and implemented them correctly. The feedback on the food at the table was entirely positive except for one. Pizza Mexicana was probably not very tasty in terms of taste for the person who chose it. My converted vegetarian burrata pizza was delicious. Unfortunately some savings were made on the ruccola, otherwise good. I also found the wine chories mixed well. Ambiance is cozy and nicely decorated.

Sieht schön aus aber ansonsten kein gutes Restaurant. Sehr schlechte Bedienung, Extrawünsche werden ignoriert, manche nicht scharfe Gerichte sind viel zu scharf (nicht auf Karte als scharf gekennzeichnet) und die Pizza war schwarz und trocken. Nachdem wir es gemeldet haben, wurde sich auch nicht entschuldigt. 30 Minuten warten für Getränke und beim bestellen des zweiten Getränkes brauchten wir drei Versuche. Am Nachbartisch kam eine Beschwerde, weil sie schon das fünfte Mal danach gefragt haben zu bezahlen. Für die schlechte Parksituation kann der Betreiber natürlich nichts, ist allerdings noch ein Grund mehr nicht dort hinzugehen.

Die Pizza ist sehr gut & der Steinofen trägt natürlich wesentlich dazu bei! Der neue Inhaber ist ein sehr sympathischer, netter & ehrlicher Mann (wollte ihm bei Abholung "zu viel" Trinkgeld geben, weil ich einen anderen Preis im Kopf hatte & er hat mich darauf aufmerksam gemacht, anstatt das Geld einzustecken. Heutzutage nicht mehr selbstverständlich. Komme wieder :)
