Ristorante Pizzeria Salvatore in Oberhausen

Yes, this is the second time I've come here and the last time I never came in again. I said quite normally we wanted to eat. The gentleman showed me the place where we should sit. Then they spoke something in Italian that I didn't understand Luckily my Italian friend was with me and he told me everything Did I notice that they said... Of course you can eat here or do you think we are playing cards here, how can you be so rude and talk to the customers like that because of us you make money here? I'm really very disappointed...

And very good Italian restaurant where they like to sell pizza and pasta. The meat dishes are quite pricey, the pizza and pasta are cheap but very tasty. The pizza was cooked perfectly full of flavor and the cheese stringy. I can highly recommend this restaurant. Ps they prefer cash

Great hosts! We didn't expect that when we went in, we were warmly welcomed and served great, freshly prepared dishes. That was top quality!!! If we're in the Oberhausen area again, it's definitely worth a detour. Many thanks to the entire team!!!

Mega delicious food, great pizza. For me the best pizzeria in Oberhausen. The Italian owners are super friendly and always look after their guests and always have a kind word.

The pizza was very tasty again, the atmosphere was like decades ago, but very well attended. There is parking on the other side of the street... it says private in red on the ground, but there are parking spaces for the pizzeria with signs on the right.

We were with a group of seven women and had a delicious meal. We can only recommend it, the staff was super friendly and we will be back

A very friendly run family business with very warm people and great food. We have always had a great time at Salvatore's for 12 years. Especially in the summer in the beautiful beer garden.

We started eating pizza here 49 years ago. It's always nice to come back here. The pizza is still the tastiest and the atmosphere is cozy and the staff is nice, Italian and has been there for a long time. It's always special for us to eat there since we don't live nearby anymore.

My pizza was okay and well topped, although with a high crust; 1. The waiter was unfortunately not fluent in German and misunderstood two things and wrote them down; Salads stood open for a long time on the walkway in the middle of the restaurant; anyone could have coughed, spit or simply passed on viruses on them; A salad was supposed to come with French dressing, but it was vinegar/oil, after a complaint, French dressing was simply put on top without making a new salad, so vinegar/oil was still underneath Unfortunately, not an ideal restaurant visit

Spontaneously walked in to have some lunch. We were received very friendly and where we wanted to sit was entirely up to us. We ordered a prociutto pizza and a calzone with 2 cokes from the normal menu and what we paid was only €29 🤯 And we had a delicious meal!

We had lunch outside on the terrace. Seafood spaghetti and Napoli pizza. As always, the welcome was very warm and the drink order was taken straight away, which was really good given the summer weather. The menu offers something for everyone, definitely try it out. The food came after a short wait as there was a party and other guests there. So here's a better compliment to the kitchen. The food was good and plentiful.

After eating the tuna pizza, I had food poisoning. The tuna didn't look that appetizing on the pizza. Apparently the tuna was bad. I suddenly had swollen lips, as if I had had them injected. I also felt sick and had a headache. After I was in the hospital it was determined that it was histamine poisoning caused by the tuna. Unfortunately I don't recommend this store.

The best pizzeria in Oberhausen for decades!

I enjoyed going to this restaurant a few years ago. But what was offered to me this time can hardly be described in words! As a starter, 2 pizza rolls that were hard on the bones and could have been used better as projectiles. The pizza was no different. The same game and totally burned! I am extremely sad and disappointed!

I can't understand all the positive reviews about the "tasty" food. I like it a little saltier, but the pizza and the previous pizza bread were completely over salted. Plus the size! A pizza from a tray, which you can get at the BahnhofsImbiss for EUR 3, is definitely bigger. With the delivery service, something like this isn't even considered a "small" pizza. And for something like that just under 10 euros. An impudence!

When I was one year old, I moved with my parents from Oberhausen near Cologne and yet every time it feels like "coming home" again. My mother ate here during her training almost 3 decades ago and we come back every time we visit Oberhausen. The staff is loving and accommodating and the pizzas are unique :) Looking forward to many more visits!

On my birthday on March 23rd, 2024, the three of us had dinner in your house as a family. My husband's family has been coming for 30 years now (always very satisfied). Unfortunately this time it wasn't like that. The service was terrible, no one asked about drinks or whether the food was tasty. The pizza without any taste. The pizza rolls were cold and inedible (when we asked, we only got warmed ones, which didn't taste good either). We are very disappointed and wonder whether we will come again. Rather not. Not when the same waiter still works there.

What can we say about this place where we find ourselves projected into authenticity! The welcome as soon as we entered has already warmed us up, the waiter put Italy in his words and the cook in our taste buds! We had ordered sparkling water, almost never drinking alcohol, and it was champagne in our glasses with white bubbles that the cheerful waiter shouted! My darling's penne with boscaiola and my trio of pastas delighted us! A goodbye from our server and the pizza chef confirmed our good meal. Thank you thank you thank you 🙏 🙏 🙏 This evening we are going back, this time for takeaway pizzas! I'm eager to ! And you? Also try the authenticity that is so rare these days!

Cozy, familiar, delicious, fits!

An exceptionally good restaurant! We were there by chance on a Sunday around lunchtime. The food, especially the pizza, was excellent. We have raved about it several times and I maintain that I have never had such good pizza anywhere in Germany. The service was also very friendly and accommodating. We didn't wait long for the food and drinks. The price-performance ratio was also absolutely good. We found the atmosphere very comfortable. We had the feeling we were coming to a family restaurant in "the good old days". As if nothing has changed in decades (and that's a good thing). It was a very nice experience.

For a run-of-the-mill pizza. 12.90 euros quite expensive. You can get it better and cheaper elsewhere.

Delicious Italian food, lively atmosphere, you have to have a bit of patience, but it's still worth a visit.

Pizza and tiramisu very tasty. I have to advise against the pasta dishes. My tortellini were undercooked and the sauce tasted like it was packaged. At least my daughter's cannelloni were still edible. Lasagna is a gratinated mush. I expect Italians to be able to do that. I've known the restaurant for over 30 years and unfortunately the pasta dishes have always been a problem

First you get pizza rolls with herb butter. Both pasta dishes were incredibly delicious. We'd love to come back.

Food was nice but not really special however Many variety for menu selection & Dessert. What special is their service. My Husband and I came for lunch, the 2 waitress were very delightful and amiable. One of waitress were very patiently with me who still speak limited Deutsch. Lovely for couples, family with kids.

Pizza was really good, base was made fresh and could tell it was cooked authenticity. It was fairly busy and the service could have been a bit quicker, probably missed out on a extra round of drinks due to this.

Das Essen ist grundsätzlich gut. Leider ist der Service eher unaufmerksam. Wir hätten deutlich mehr Getränke bestellt, wenn der Kellner greifbar gewesen wäre.

Duurde erg lang eer we eten kregen en de rekening liet ook superlang op zich wachten. De pizza was lekker maar de belegging was erg zompig en nattig. De korst was nogal dik. Moesten betalen voor een grote bier, maar kregen een kleine. Trapje bij de ingang dus lastig met de rolstoel. Toilet is een lange trap af.

Unglaublich gute Pizzen. Sehr freundliches Personal und eine Chefin, die auch gerne mal mit den Gästen plaudert. Erwähnenswert ist auch der Außenbereich, in dem man gerne sitzt und seine Speisen genießen kann. Heute am 2. Weihnachtstag mit der Familie (13) Personen wieder mal sehr gut gegessen!

Die allerbeste Pizza der Welt. Könnte wirklich jeden Tag hier her kommen. Kann ich nur jedem empfehlen.

Wie ein Schnellimbiss....es wird gefragt wann man essen möchte da andere menschen schonauf den Tisch warten würden...und es ist zu teuer für dieses essen was serviert wird...eine Flasche wasser zum beispiel fast 7 euro
