We had a wonderful evening with excellent food and service that left nothing to be desired. We'll be back 👍🏻

Friendly service; we've been there several times and eaten everything from pasta to pizza, even the occasional schnitzel 😋 I just didn't like the tagliatelle de mare, it lacked seasoning. They also serve ice cream, teramizu, and coffee. With a view of the ships.

Very good food, great location but when the restaurant is full it gets a bit chaotic in terms of conditions

We were at Portifino today and celebrated my birthday with several people. First, there was a delicious platter, and we had to repeatedly tell ourselves: "No, I'm not eating anything else now, otherwise I won't be able to fit any more food in." It was simply delicious! The dishes we ordered from the menu only heightened this feeling. We ate everything, even though we were already full. Oh, and always a little something for the taste 🤣. The service also deserves special mention – always keeping an eye on the guests and very attentive. My wife and I have been there several times, and the food, the service, and the prices are absolutely amazing 🔝.

We were out late, but we still managed to get some delicious food there. The outdoor area is definitely worth a visit. They even provide wool blankets for chilly evenings.

Great atmosphere, delicious food, especially fish dishes

The waiters were unfriendly. The food was lacking in quality. The 4-cheese pizza and the mozzarella pizza were missing cheese and were burnt, while a little later, the same pizza at the next table looked very good.

Fresh Skrei, fried to perfection. Top-notch! The side dishes were good, except for the absolutely soggy and overcooked pointed cabbage.

I wouldn't want to eat there again. The waiter was nice, but I felt under pressure to order something to eat very quickly. When it came to the bill, it was really hard to get a waiter or waitress, even though the place was already relatively empty; both seemed quite overwhelmed. We had to move around at first, even though my father isn't very good at walking and the waiter could have simply moved a table there. The year before, it was tastier and nicer there, but unfortunately, it's gone downhill. About the food: when my tagliatelle with seafood arrived, my father (a Sassnitz native and an old sailor) said the food had an unpleasant smell. The seafood, which couldn't be identified, was very firm and tough, and squeaked between your teeth. The supposedly fresh pasta wasn't very tasty either, which was very disappointing given the prices. The toppings on the pizzas were greasy and just dribbled down. We come to Sassnitz every year, but unfortunately, we won't be eating at your place anymore.

We ate here as a family. Very fast and friendly service. The food is really good and plentiful for the price. In the summer, it's also very pleasant to eat outside on the terrace right by the harbor.

We visited the restaurant after a boat trip, as it's located right next to the pier. A lunch special was advertised until 3:00 p.m. Unfortunately, the two different dishes fell short of our expectations. Besides the small portion of fish, the fried potatoes were a disgrace. The pan had probably just been sitting in the sun while it was being prepared?!

We do NOT agree with the largely positive reviews we've received so far. Firstly, the waiter was visibly annoyed and overwhelmed, lacking in friendliness. This should be a basic requirement for guests to feel comfortable. The fried potatoes, as well as the pizza, were soggy. The waiter didn't know what aioli was; we tried to explain it to him. We wanted to convey our dissatisfaction that way, but it wasn't possible, as the waiter barely understood what we wanted. He told us to please speak English. The next waiter, to whom we tried to express our dissatisfaction, also barely spoke German. We're not fussy and don't have high expectations, but our visit to Portofino was by no means worthwhile.

The waiters walked past me for almost a quarter of an hour without paying any attention. The food was terrible (lasagna), the cheese felt like chewing gum. I ate half of it. Grossing. They even extort a tip when I pay (which I can't give out). Absolutely not recommended.

The best pizza I've ever eaten. The pasta is also absolutely delicious. The portions are generous, and you'll definitely be full. It's right on the harbor, so the view is beautiful. The service is top-notch, super friendly and attentive. I'm completely satisfied :)

We found a seat quickly without a reservation, and the food didn't take long either. Daily specials were served at reasonable prices. And it was delicious, too.

The seating is quite nice with a view of the harbor. The constant lounge music was too loud for me and disrupted the conversation. It easily took 10 minutes before we got our menus. It took even longer before we were allowed to order. The food arrived surprisingly quickly, was plentiful, and tasted great. The service wasn't unfriendly, but not particularly good either. I had to ask several times to pay, only to be told that the other lady at the counter would take my card. I then waited another 5 minutes for her. Overall, I'm not very impressed.

As always, it's delicious. The portions are generous, and the staff is very friendly. It's often crowded in the summer, and the wait for food can be longer.

We went for ice cream, and the iced coffee was delicious. Since our baby was hungry, we asked the staff to warm the jar. They did, albeit somewhat reluctantly. A high chair was not offered. In general, the server (a somewhat older lady, perhaps the owner?) was stressed and not particularly friendly. When we wanted to pay (by card; we had no cash), she was completely exasperated and didn't speak to us again. She said that such small amounts should surely be paid in cash. This made the visit end unpleasant and rounded off the overall impression.

We came spontaneously on Saturday evening and got one of the few remaining seats inside. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the staff very friendly, and the atmosphere was incredibly cozy. I definitely recommend it.

I ate the worst pizza of my life here yesterday! Paper-thin, undercooked base and completely burnt pizza crust. The taste was definitely not that great. I ordered a Hawaiian pizza and a Capricciosa pizza for my daughter, my wife, and me. If you want to experience these two pizzas perfectly prepared, go to Greifswald/Wieck. But yesterday's pizza was a total no-go. We also ordered two iced coffees, for which we had to specifically ask for straws because they were missing, even though they should be standard. No, sorry, I will definitely not be coming here again. Not only do I share this opinion, but my wife and daughter also agree. This is the absolute truth and not malicious defamation. I am curious to see how long honest experts will last here.

Super delicious pizza, and the cod with sauce was also very good. Friendly staff. The wait time was perfectly acceptable. If we're ever in the area again, we'd be happy to come back. Thank you very much and all the best!

The staff is friendly and helpful, and you feel welcome. There's a great view of the harbor. The food is also delicious and filling. There's a large selection of fish, meat, and pasta dishes. Definitely a recommendation if you're in the area.

The service was very incompetent and inflexible. Serving a cold coffee when it was warm and you'd already ordered an ice cream sundae was the only way to expect a cold coffee. So much for the customer being king. I didn't tip the lady because she was rude, unpleasant, and cheeky. She then spoke in her own language (Italian), which couldn't have been more cheeky. Never again.

We went to the SAIL GP, and it was very busy and well attended. Great food, a lovely atmosphere, and friendly staff. We'll definitely be back next time 🙂

We ate at Bella Vista every day for two weeks and were very, very spoiled by the quality there. Here – the pizza has a pitiful topping and the lasagna is very bland. Service: Smiling and friendly isn't their thing. Atmosphere: OK Conclusion: I'm looking forward to the other pizzeria reopening.

We were there today, but unfortunately, no one seemed to care. After 20 minutes, we left without a single server coming by. This affected not only us but also several other guests at different tables.

Unfortunately, one of the worst restaurant visits I've ever had. There were four of us there, and we all originally wanted pizza – but they were completely out of pizza. Two of us didn't order anything at all. I had the carbonara and my friend had the lasagna. Unfortunately, the meal was a complete disaster: The carbonara was completely tasteless, almost as if it had been diluted with water, and the lasagna was also disappointing. Very disappointing – next time we'll go for fish or another Italian restaurant.

€40 for four ice cream bars. Well, it's a vacation, but then you can't get the order right and then blame it on your colleagues. If I don't speak the local language and don't have a good grasp of English, I just can't work in service.

2 stars because overall it was so-so. The ice cream portions were quite small, but too expensive. The staff was nice until it came to paying and I didn't leave a tip (I paid with a card). I was asked if I wanted to tip. When I said no, the waiter was visibly annoyed. All I got was a rude goodbye.

The service was very friendly, the food was excellent, and our little ones were looked after very kindly. 🤗 The toilet seats could use replacing, but they were clean! That's really the only thing! Otherwise, it was very nice.

The portions were ample to generous and very tasty. There was a bit of confusion with the ordering, but special requests were no problem. It was a bit noisy inside, but conversation was just about possible. We would come again, but next time we'll reserve a table outside.

Unfortunately, you can't give 0 stars, so I'll give it 1 star. We sat there for half an hour without even being able to place our order. No attention, no eye contact, nothing. No response to signals or messages. Impossible, never going there again.

A 0.5-liter draft beer costs €5.90, and two other types, such as dark beer, cost €7.10. I find that quite expensive!

Great location by the harbor. Service is nice, fast, and friendly. Unfortunately, it's overpriced: a banana baker with two scoops of ice cream and cream and maybe six small pieces of banana for over €9. Bordering on rip-off. And then they're unfriendly when there's no tip. Not recommended, sorry.

Very good Italian! Friendly, attentive, and fast staff. Very good value for money. The restaurant was very busy. We didn't have a reservation, but we were still served courteously and quickly. The menu is relatively extensive. The food arrived after a reasonable wait. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food, considering the reasonable prices. We were there for coffee and cake... it was very good and good value for money. You also have to remember where you're sitting... this is right on the harbor and not just some backyard cafe/restaurant!

Unfortunately, I have to revise my 5-star review from 2019. The ice cream was really delicious back then. We were here again yesterday – and were unfortunately very disappointed. The hefty price of €2 per scoop is completely unjustified in our opinion. We had a total of six scoops, but each one tasted 90% watery. It's a shame that they're now clearly skimping on quality. We won't be coming back for ice cream. 2019: We treated ourselves to some delicious ice cream here. It was simply delicious, and the staff is very, very friendly. We'll be back. :)

After a friendly young lady showed us our seats, the waiter arrived, visibly in a bad mood! His gruff manner was rude! He constantly mixed up the food and drinks. The food was mediocre! What a shame. I actually love Italian cuisine. I was disappointed here. My digestive system tells me I'm right.

The food looked better than it tasted, very fatty and underseasoned (the fish). We didn't get any seasoning ☹️ The beer was also undrinkable because it tasted like runny nose. Instead of fish soup, I got frutti di mare. The service was rather unfriendly, except for the young waitresses. So, I honestly don't recommend it.

It's worth reading the review. The waiter, an Italian, actually tries to be ironic, but he fails. In Poland, he'd get paid... He's demanding tips!!! As soon as we sat down, I told my wife, after reading the reviews, that we'd be meeting an Italian. Bam! He has a tendency to be impertinent; in his opinion, it's supposedly professionalism, but only in his way of thinking. He's completely unsuccessful. He ruined the atmosphere. The food is so-so. Forcing tips is a disgrace. Rating: 1!!!! By the waiter! Avoid!!!

We had Margherita, four cheeses, and minestrone. The soup was okay, the pizzas were amazing! The crust was 100% delicious, delicious! A crust that couldn't be better. Super friendly and fast service despite the high season. Moderate prices, including a view of the harbor. Conclusion: Recommended! The ambiance is a bit dated, but okay.

We went to the restaurant today for lunch and I'm still angry. We ordered 5 drinks. All of them small. When we saw the large beer, I said we'd ordered a small beer. The waiter just laughed and didn't take it seriously. I only noticed afterwards that the other drinks were also large. Since they were only 0.4 and not 0.5, I thought they might have been small after all. So that's a way to improve your cash flow. In my opinion, that's completely unacceptable. Still water costs the same as Sprite there and is more expensive than beer. Since children often only drink water, I don't find it very child-friendly. The toilets aren't very pleasant. The food was okay to good.

The pizzas are absolutely fantastic and always more than satisfying. Highly recommended for taste, great products, and the service is always friendly and attentive. Only a few umbrellas outside could use a general overhaul here and there. But the delicious food is the main thing :)

Very, very bad food, never again. Not recommended. Better move on. I ordered cod with fried potatoes. The fish was very small but good. The fried potatoes were bad, not crispy, and swimming in fat. I ordered a shandy, and what came was something that wasn't mixed properly. The place is dingy and dirty, the tables weren't wiped down.

Unfortunately, my family and I had a bad experience at this restaurant. The food wasn't worth the price. Unfortunately, the food wasn't to our taste either! The wrong dishes were brought to our table, and the menus generally didn't look clean.

The pizzas were delicious, the salad was wonderful with ingredients like fresh fennel, balsamic pickled onions, and celery in addition to the standard vegetables, and the kids' dish (fish fingers with fries) was solid and well-prepared. Great service – fast, friendly, and special requests were no problem. The shop itself is kid-friendly. We followed a local's recommendation and were not disappointed. Thank you :)

We discovered this fantastic restaurant while on vacation there. It was so great that we ate there twice. Superb food, very friendly service, and right on the harbor. Highly recommended. Update: During our vacation this year (2025) on Rügen, a visit here was a must. And we were not disappointed. The food was once again delicious and the service was very friendly. We also know that when we vacation on Rügen again, we'll go/drive here to eat again 👌🤗

The fried potatoes seemed like convenience food and didn't really impress us in terms of flavor. Perhaps we should have just ordered pizza – at least other guests' pizza looked pretty good. We were there today. Two people and a dog...wait a minute...no problem, in 3 minutes. The food, including Italian-style rump steak, was top-notch, and the whole thing was very reasonably priced. We ate here 10 years ago, and it was perhaps even a bit better than it was then. If we sail east again, it will definitely be a destination.

I had dinner there with my husband last night. The service was very friendly and cheerful. The setting is right on the harbor, and you have a lovely view when you sit outside. The food: I had bruschetta and a Frutti di Mare pizza. The pizza was a normal size, the crust was just perfect—not too thin—and there was plenty of topping. The price was very reasonable for a tourist area. I will be back.
