Authentic Italian cuisine, homemade, fresh... Simply amazing!

The restaurant was recommended to me by friends—and my Italian hairdresser. So, on Christmas Day, our group of six went there for the first time. And it was wonderful! The service was incredibly friendly, the courses served in a relaxed atmosphere, the cocktails were excellent, and the wine was a delight. Every single dish was absolutely fantastic. 7 out of 5 stars :-)

We visited on November 1st, 2025, because the reviews and pictures had convinced us. We are frequent visitors to Italy, and the small, charming shop immediately felt very inviting. A small, authentic menu, a warm atmosphere, and the feeling of truly being in Italy—that's exactly what we love. The owners were incredibly welcoming and gave us thoughtful advice. The wine they recommended was excellent. We felt completely at ease.

A small, modern restaurant in the old fire station tower with just four tables inside, run by such wonderful, thoughtful, and dedicated staff that words can hardly describe it. My daughter was immediately given a booster seat. They also made her some fantastic, gluten-free linguine with authentic Italian carbonara, which was off-menu. I had sea bass with a potato crust and vegetables – also gluten-free. Both were truly delicious. To top it all off, there was panacotta with a "little spectacle." We are blown away. Thank you for this wonderful and warm evening with you!!!!

Definitely the best part of our vacation. Super friendly service, and the food is truly special and so good. We went there two days in a row and were still surprised by the quality of the food on the second day. If we're ever on Rügen again, this is the place to be ☺️

Incredibly good food!! The best panna cotta I've ever eaten. Spaghetti aglio e olio with a twist: the garlic was cooked with milk and left to marinate overnight. Heavenly. Warm and attentive service.

The pesto pasta we had was absolutely delicious. The space is small and intimate (4 or 5 tables max, so do make a reservation!) with welcoming lighting and atmosphere. Our waitress was very kind, and the chef came by himself to ask how our food tasted. If we return to Sassnitz, we will certainly be returning here. Definitely recommend it for a special evening out on the harbor

Friendly service, the chef cooks everything fresh himself. The slightly longer wait is worth it. We'd be happy to return. Reservations are recommended.

Four years ago, we had lasagna here and absolutely loved the taste. After that, we searched everywhere for a better-tasting lasagna and couldn't find anything better. Now we've planned our vacation here to try it again. And once again, we were absolutely thrilled with the taste. 🤗 It really couldn't be better. Kudos to the chef 👌

We went there for dinner on Saturday evening. It's not for those in a hurry. We sat comfortably by the harbor for about three hours and enjoyed a great view. We had an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert. We also had good drinks. Don't let the prices put you off, they're worth every cent. Highly recommended. The service was very friendly.

A small, rather unassuming restaurant from the outside, it was our highlight in Sassnitz. Our food was absolutely delicious (burgers, risotto, baguette, pasta). And the service was super friendly and child-friendly. We've never seen the floating high chair for the bar tables inside the restaurant before, and our little one loved it.

We went out to eat last night. It was packed, but we still got a seat. The food took a while, but everything is freshly prepared and the wait was definitely worth it. The chef brought us a delicious dessert. We were truly blown away and can only recommend the restaurant. Simply fantastic. Many thanks to the chef and the staff, and a huge thank you to the kitchen. 5 stars simply aren't enough 👍

Real, exceptional, Italian cuisine, very tasty, each dish is a little composition.

This was pretty much the best experience I've had in a long time. Everything was perfect – it's a bit more expensive, but it's worth every cent. The ravioli were divine! You can't go without a reservation – especially if you're traveling with a group.

As sailing enthusiasts, we often dock in Sassnitz. A key factor in this is Osteria La Torre, which has saved us from starvation on several occasions. A family atmosphere, unobtrusive music, a view of the harbor, truly good food, and the owners are always attentive to their guests and don't let stress build up (including with their staff). So, if you're craving crunchy Mediterranean cuisine after weeks of wonderful Scandinavian herring specialties, this is the place for you. Make a reservation during peak times!

I ate a delicious burger and said I didn't want the cheese and tomatoes. Everything worked out great. The service was really good and it was fun. Unfortunately, there are no backrests for the chairs inside, but there are benches along the wall.

It's a very small and cute restaurant, and it's best to make a reservation. The food might not be for everyone, as it's not your standard Italian fare. The food here is delicious and unique, and special requests for children are no problem either.

When I asked for a vegan option, I received a delicious risotto. The service, food, and ambiance were excellent.

Real Italians cook here! My request for the tagliatelle to be vegetarian, without shrimp, was easily accommodated. The combination with homemade arugula pesto was interesting. For dessert, I had the tiramisu, the last time I'd eaten this quality was in Italy. Overall, the food was excellent!

After the Hanomag tour, we enjoyed a great meal here with friends. The first participants/teams of the Catamaran World Championship also arrived. A wonderful end to this fantastic day.

The food there is really good. It costs a bit more, but it's worth it. We went there twice while on vacation, and it was a real treat. They're very knowledgeable about gluten-free food, for all those people with allergies.

We sat outside, with a beautiful view of the harbor. We only had coffee, which was very good from an Italian machine. People were eating around us, and it seemed like everyone was very happy. I highly recommend it and will be back.

We were absolutely thrilled with the food; it tasted absolutely top-notch. Unfortunately, we had to wait about 1.5 hours for our food, even though the other table had already been eating for an hour. All the other tables were taken after that, so I can't understand why we waited so long. Hence my deduction.

Wow, I haven't had this much food in a long time. The tagliata so pollo is truly a must-try. The lasagna is also highly recommended. So go ahead and get there!

The food is incredibly delicious. You can sit with a beautiful view of the harbor. We were in Sassnitz and discovered this restaurant by chance. We were vacationing on Rügen for a few days and drove back to Sassnitz to eat at this restaurant again. The second time was just as great as the first. It was a true gourmet experience.

Great hosts, impeccable service, and a fantastic menu with something for everyone. On top of that, the child even got a Bolognese, which wasn't on the menu. We'd definitely go back!

Not for those who need something quick. We just wanted a drink in the evening, and even though we were moderately full, it took 45 minutes for the drinks to arrive. We can't comment on the food yet.

Delicious food. We had to wait a long time but it was the end of the day, a lot of customers and unfortunately a very cold windy day. It's good that they have baskets and a lot of blankets. I recommend it because the food is delicious and the atmosphere is also nice.

Sehr freundliches Team. Ohne Reservierung einen schönen Platz erhalten. Die Bedienung hat alles im Griff. Wir bekamen einen Platz der ab 18:00 Uhr reserviert war. Somit hatten wir genug Zeit, zu Essen ohne Stess und Uhr im Auge behalten. Alle Speisen waren sehr lecker und optimal zubereitet. Immer wieder gerne👍⭐️.

Man wird schon mal sehr freundlich begrüsst und freut sich schon durch das schöne Ambiente auf das kommende Essen, welches hervorragend war. Es wird schön angerichtet, duftet super gut und schmeckt hervorragend. Es ist lange her, seit ich so gute Garnelen gegessen habe.

Super Lage: Wir konnten den Besuch gut mit anderen Aktivitäten verbinden. Sehr freundliches Personal. Hervorragendes Essen. Auch gut geeignet für einen kleinen Stopp am Hafen. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet - das dauert etwas. Und nicht zu vergessen: Saubere Toiletten.

Excellent and friendly service from the moment we greeted you to the moment we left, very attentive and helpful, but never intrusive. The food is delicious, with generous portion sizes. In addition to the à la carte dishes, there are also daily specials to choose from. The wines are excellent. The small room is tastefully decorated, but unfortunately, it's small. Therefore, a reservation is definitely recommended. We had a lovely and delicious evening!

The atmosphere is quiet and mellow, but with the tennis-themed TV inside, it feels a bit like a sports bar. However, the female waitress who guided us through the evening was, in my opinion, destined for greater success than she would be at a restaurant up north. She should apply to Ramsey or Melzer. All in all, an interesting evening.

Well, luckily, tastes differ. Unfortunately, our taste wasn't to our liking. However, a steak was supposed to be prepared as ordered, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. However, the ambiance is very nice, and the waitress was very friendly, despite the stress that prevailed...

We went there as a family to eat because of the positive reviews. The owner greeted us warmly at the door, and our jackets were immediately taken away. She was super friendly with our kids as she assembled the burgers, and her husband brought us the food from the kitchen and told us what he had cooked. The atmosphere was great, but above all, you can tell the owners are passionate about running a restaurant.

The restaurant has a great setting looking at the Baltic Sea sunsets. Went with friends here for a day outing and was surprised by the high rating and recommendations. Ordered for both the Grilled Fish dishes and a Pasta Carbonara along with a drinks like Red Fanta. Everything was great, the flavours were on point and we got a complementary serve of Bruschetta as well. The only reason I am reducing a star here is serving time. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food to arrive. It would have been kind to let us know that it will take that long. Not that it had a lot of seating too. At 45 minutes we enquired about the food and were told 5-6 minutes but it took almost 25 minutes after that. If not for the brilliant taste this could have been a bad experience.
