Osteria La Torre in Sassnitz

We sat outside, with a beautiful view of the harbor. We only had coffee, which was very good from an Italian machine. People were eating around us, and it seemed like everyone was very happy. I highly recommend it and will be back.

The food there is really good. It costs a bit more, but it's worth it. We went there twice while on vacation, and it was a real treat. They're very knowledgeable about gluten-free food, for all those people with allergies.

We were absolutely thrilled with the food; it tasted absolutely top-notch. Unfortunately, we had to wait about 1.5 hours for our food, even though the other table had already been eating for an hour. All the other tables were taken after that, so I can't understand why we waited so long. Hence my deduction.

Very good food and attentive service

The food is incredibly delicious. You can sit with a beautiful view of the harbor. We were in Sassnitz and discovered this restaurant by chance. We were vacationing on Rügen for a few days and drove back to Sassnitz to eat at this restaurant again. The second time was just as great as the first. It was a true gourmet experience.

Wow, I haven't had this much food in a long time. The tagliata so pollo is truly a must-try. The lasagna is also highly recommended. So go ahead and get there!

Great hosts, impeccable service, and a fantastic menu with something for everyone. On top of that, the child even got a Bolognese, which wasn't on the menu. We'd definitely go back!

Not for those who need something quick. We just wanted a drink in the evening, and even though we were moderately full, it took 45 minutes for the drinks to arrive. We can't comment on the food yet.

Delicious food. We had to wait a long time but it was the end of the day, a lot of customers and unfortunately a very cold windy day. It's good that they have baskets and a lot of blankets. I recommend it because the food is delicious and the atmosphere is also nice.

Sehr freundliches Team. Ohne Reservierung einen schönen Platz erhalten. Die Bedienung hat alles im Griff. Wir bekamen einen Platz der ab 18:00 Uhr reserviert war. Somit hatten wir genug Zeit, zu Essen ohne Stess und Uhr im Auge behalten. Alle Speisen waren sehr lecker und optimal zubereitet. Immer wieder gerne👍⭐️.

Man wird schon mal sehr freundlich begrüsst und freut sich schon durch das schöne Ambiente auf das kommende Essen, welches hervorragend war. Es wird schön angerichtet, duftet super gut und schmeckt hervorragend. Es ist lange her, seit ich so gute Garnelen gegessen habe.

Super Lage: Wir konnten den Besuch gut mit anderen Aktivitäten verbinden. Sehr freundliches Personal. Hervorragendes Essen. Auch gut geeignet für einen kleinen Stopp am Hafen. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet - das dauert etwas. Und nicht zu vergessen: Saubere Toiletten.

Excellent and friendly service from the moment we greeted you to the moment we left, very attentive and helpful, but never intrusive. The food is delicious, with generous portion sizes. In addition to the à la carte dishes, there are also daily specials to choose from. The wines are excellent. The small room is tastefully decorated, but unfortunately, it's small. Therefore, a reservation is definitely recommended. We had a lovely and delicious evening!

A beautiful Italian restaurant in the harbor, especially the outdoor seating in a beach chair with a blanket and a view of the water offers a special setting. The service and food are also highly recommended.

The atmosphere is quiet and mellow, but with the tennis-themed TV inside, it feels a bit like a sports bar. However, the female waitress who guided us through the evening was, in my opinion, destined for greater success than she would be at a restaurant up north. She should apply to Ramsey or Melzer. All in all, an interesting evening.

Well, luckily, tastes differ. Unfortunately, our taste wasn't to our liking. However, a steak was supposed to be prepared as ordered, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. However, the ambiance is very nice, and the waitress was very friendly, despite the stress that prevailed...

We went there as a family to eat because of the positive reviews. The owner greeted us warmly at the door, and our jackets were immediately taken away. She was super friendly with our kids as she assembled the burgers, and her husband brought us the food from the kitchen and told us what he had cooked. The atmosphere was great, but above all, you can tell the owners are passionate about running a restaurant.

An absolutely wonderful little restaurant. The food was fantastic and beautifully presented. The service was also excellent, and the cocktails are served with a sense of adventure 😉 Since there are only a few seats, you'll need a bit of luck or a reservation if possible.

The restaurant has a great setting looking at the Baltic Sea sunsets. Went with friends here for a day outing and was surprised by the high rating and recommendations. Ordered for both the Grilled Fish dishes and a Pasta Carbonara along with a drinks like Red Fanta. Everything was great, the flavours were on point and we got a complementary serve of Bruschetta as well. The only reason I am reducing a star here is serving time. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food to arrive. It would have been kind to let us know that it will take that long. Not that it had a lot of seating too. At 45 minutes we enquired about the food and were told 5-6 minutes but it took almost 25 minutes after that. If not for the brilliant taste this could have been a bad experience.

We were at the Osteria today and were very impressed by the lovely ambiance. The food was incredibly delicious. I highly recommend the Osteria. We went there twice this weekend.

Ambiance, very good. Food, delicious. Service, unfortunately, is not right. I was there with my family. Unfortunately the wrong food was brought to me. No problem, mistakes can happen. But it depends on how the error is dealt with. It goes without saying that my food is prepared from scratch, but that I only get it after my family has almost finished their meal is not right. I would have expected a better solution here. As an apology, we were then served a dessert, unfortunately without agreeing with us in advance. We would therefore have to reject this for various reasons. At least we were accommodated with the bill - a serious thank you for that. We will definitely come back again, everything else was ok and you learn from mistakes.

A real little gem! This tiny, almost pub-like restaurant completely wowed us with its authentic, incredibly delicious Italian food. Every dish was a hit – fresh, prepared with love and simply outstanding in taste. The selection is great, the quality is top, and the prices are absolutely fair. But what really made the evening special was the atmosphere: the service was incredibly warm and individual - every guest is valued. Even the boss personally took the time to greet us and asked about our well-being. The best thing: Our dog was not only allowed, but warmly welcome! There was his own blanket for him and he was lovingly greeted and cuddled by everyone – staff and guests alike. It's rare to experience so much love for animals! Conclusion: A place with soul, taste and heart. We'll definitely be back!

Wonderful ambience, very friendly staff and the food (spigola in crosta and pannacotta) was a dream! Arrived there late on a Wednesday evening and was seated straight away. Definitely my first choice for further visits to the island of Rügen!

We zaten buiten aan de haven, het was mistig boven het water maar de zon scheen ook, en de gaswarmers waren aan. Prettig zitten en de mensen kuieren aan je voorbij. De bediening was vriendelijk (vonden wij een verademing op Rügen). We aten een Linguine Carbonara di Mare en een Penne Arrabiata. Vooraf een tomatensoep en bruschetta. Alles was heerlijk. De arrabiata was flink pittig maar net goed. We hadden helaas geen ruimte meer voor een dessert ;) . De cappuccino was ok.

Excellent food, beautifully located little restaurant with a lovely waitress/owner (?)! The small restaurant only has a few tables (make sure to reserve) and when we walked past everything was full for the evening. But the nice lady in service offered that we could sit outside and she would turn on the patio heater (forgot about climate protection for a moment 😉). It was wonderful, eating with the sound of the sea. An Amuse Gueule came from the kitchen as a greeting, homemade breadsticks with a ricotta tomato dip. The burrata with tomato confit was so good, the little rolls that went with it were freshly baked. It was difficult for us to decide on a main course because everything on the small, fine menu sounded promising. Both the risotto with green asparagus and mushrooms and the savoy cabbage rolls with rosemary potatoes and mustard sauce were of excellent quality, the kind you would never expect in a seaside resort. The service is charming, quick and very personable. There are also non-alcoholic aperitif and cocktail options, which we really liked. The fact that the dessert, a small shortcrust cake with orange cream and Amarena cherries, was shared for us in the kitchen because we were actually too full for dessert, matched the wonderful overall impression! A recommendation for anyone who appreciates fresh, delicate food with the best ingredients and the charm of Italian restaurateurs. Mille grazie! We'd love to come back! Two days later I stopped by here for lunch and it was just as good as dinner. The boss is funny, quick and charming even when there is a lot of crowd and the boss sings along with the Italian songs. Here you can watch two people who love their restaurant and their work. A wonderful place to eat well and enjoy Italian hospitality.

Finding such a culinary gem in a tourist town is a real joy. The service is attentive, reserved and very friendly, and the atmosphere is stylish. The menu is small but well put together. The cocktails were worth seeing. Here the boss serves with joy and ingenuity. Then came the extremely delicious greeting from the kitchen. All dishes ordered were stylishly prepared and tasted extremely delicious. The dessert as the crowning finale was to die for. It is advisable to reserve a table if you want to sit inside. Otherwise, you can sit outside with a wool blanket under the patio heater, warm and cozy, and marvel at the hustle and bustle at the harbor. We'll be back. Thank you for this perfect evening.

Lors de notre demande si on avait été oublié, on nous a répondu que "la bonne cuisine italienne demandait du temps" Cuisine : fade, sans le goût qu'on connaît de la vraie cuisine italienne Conclusion : il s'agit d'une cuisine italo-albanaise où la part italienne est de façade. After we happened to be there the first time, we had to go straight to the cafe for a drink and come back again for dinner. Not only is the food fantastic, the service is too. We felt really comfortable. A little insider tip for all visitors. There is also a lot for vegetarians :) We will definitely come back again.

We had a wonderful time here with a view of the harbor. A worthwhile excursion destination, we can only recommend it.
