Ein Stück mediterraner Urlaub in Orscholz! Wir hatten einen rundum wunderschönen Abend im Porta Romana in Orscholz. Schon die herzliche und persönliche Atmosphäre hat uns begeistert. Der Chef und die Chefin haben sich sogar zu uns an den Tisch gesetzt – wir haben viel gelacht, uns toll unterhalten und uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. ❤️ Auch draußen auf der Terrasse sitzt man wirklich wunderschön. Das Ambiente lädt dazu ein, einfach mal abzuschalten und den Abend zu genießen – fast wie ein kleiner Urlaub im Süden. ☀️🇮🇹 Und das Essen war einfach fantastisch! Angefangen bei der leckeren Bruschetta bis hin zum Rucola-Salat mit Erdbeeren und Parmesan – eine Kombination, die wir so vorher noch nie gegessen hatten und die uns wirklich begeistert hat. 🍓🥗 Ein besonderes Highlight war die Fischplatte: wunderschön angerichtet, reichhaltig und unglaublich lecker. Dazu das mediterrane Ambiente – da kam echtes Urlaubsfeeling auf. 🐟🍤🍋 Und natürlich durfte zum Abschluss auch etwas Süßes nicht fehlen. 😍 Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für den herzlichen Service, die tolle Gastfreundschaft und das superleckere Essen. Wir haben uns bei euch wirklich wohlgefühlt und kommen definitiv wieder! Absolute Empfehlung für das Porta Romana in Orscholz! ❤️

Ich hatte ein köstliches Pastagericht.

Hier kocht kein italiener! Saltimbocca nicht aus Kalbfleisch! Salat nicht mit Essig und Öl! Pasta nicht aldente und Soße...für die hab ich gar keine Worte. Getränkebestellung falsch aufgenommen. Rechnung reklamiert und das Geld für die falsche Bestellung zurück bekommen. Hab schon lange nicht mehr so schlecht italienisch gegessen.

In unseren Augen für die Leistung zu teuer. Essen ist gut, aber man macht sich unseren Augen zufolge die Nähe der Cloef und der Reha Klinik zu gute. Preise sind zu hoch, Pizza Tonno 15,50 € z.b. Weiterhin könnte das Personal auch saubere Kleidung tragen.

Rohes Essen, nicht richtig durchgegart. Schrecklich! Ich würde kein zweites Mal wiederkommen!

Ich habe dieses Restaurant besucht und eine Portion Pasta mit Meeresfrüchten bestellt. Leider wurde das Erlebnis durch die Zubereitung des Essens und die Reaktion des Personals komplett ruiniert. Das Gericht wurde mit drei Garnelen serviert, die – ohne jede Übertreibung – noch komplett roh waren. Sie wurden vermutlich weniger als zwei Minuten in der Pfanne gelassen; das Fleisch war noch glasig, feucht und hatte die typische Textur von ungegartem Fisch. Ich verstehe durchaus, dass Meeresfrüchte nicht übergart werden sollten, damit sie nicht zäh werden, aber das hier war schlichtweg Küchenfährlassigkeit und ein gesundheitliches Risiko. Der unangenehmste Teil war jedoch die Reaktion des Kellners. Als ich ihn darauf ansprach, versuchte er, anstatt den Fehler der Küche zuzugeben, mich für dumm zu verkaufen. Er behauptete dreist, dass dies „die italienische Art“ und der „Standard“ sei. Das ist eine Beleidigung für die echte italienische Küche, in der Garnelen in Nudelgerichten korrekt gegart (nämlich glasig-opak und fest) und nicht roh auf die Pasta geworfen werden, nur um es als fiktiven Gastronomie-Stil zu verkaufen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant absolut nicht empfehlen, wenn Sie korrekt zubereitetes Essen oder einen Kundenservice erwarten, der auf Respekt und Ehrlichkeit basiert.

Ein schönes Lokal zu einem fairen Preis. Der große Orscholzsalat ist so üppig, dass er als Hauptgericht durchgeht. Die Bedienung war schnell und freundlich. Und es liegt direkt gegenüber vom Park.

Wir waren leider sehr enttäuscht. Es fing mit Kommunikationsproblemen an (Spaghetti Diavolo anstatt Spaghetti Bolognese) - die Spaghetti Bolognese kamen dann innerhalb 1-2 Minuten… da sollte man schon stutzig werden. 2 andere Nudelgerichte waren so unterirdisch das wir es stehen ließen… Die Pizza und die Bruschetta waren okay! Service leider eine Vollkatastrophe - lag vermutlich an dem Kommunikationsproblem. Tut mir leid das so sagen zu müssen, aber im Service sollte deutsch gesprochen und verstanden werden. Da wir eh im Urlaub hier sind besteht keine Gefahr einer Wiederholung!

Ich habe mir heute Essen nach Hause liefern lassen , Super schnell wurde es geliefert und das Essen war sehr lecker 😋 Alles Top 👍👍

Ich war absolut begeistert von diesem Restaurant! Das Essen war hervorragend und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Besonders die Bruschetta ist ein echtes Highlight – unglaublich frisch, perfekt gewürzt und einfach unglaublich lecker. Man merkt sofort, dass hier hochwertige Zutaten verwendet werden. Auch der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, und die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist gemütlich und einladend. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wirklich jedem empfehlen – vor allem, wenn man richtig gute Bruschetta genießen möchte. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Einfach schlecht! Wir waren heute mit 4 Personen essen. Erster Eindruck, Tischdecke noch dreckig vom Vorgänger. Dann wurde uns ein Körbchen mit Brot gebracht aber Teller mit Oliven, Fehlanzeige. Als ich dann beobachten konnte, dass die Brotkörbchen vom Vorgänger wieder in dem großen Korb gelandet sind und später wieder an andere Tische verteilt, einfach widerlich. Schnitzel und Pommes sowie Pasta für die Preise ein Witz. Pizza war scheinbar ganz in Ordnung. Aber wir kommen nicht wieder.

Die Carbonara, Aglio Olio und Diavola Pizza waren köstlich. Obwohl ich an einem Sonntag dort war, war es voll, aber die Bedienung war freundlich. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend und ich würde gerne wiederkommen.

Pizza … kann man essen … am Service nichts auszusetzen, aber für 5 kleine Sardellen extra - 4,00 Euro zu verlangen - das ist grenzwertig. (Sind ja Meeresfrüchte.!)

Das Essen war furchtbar, von einem italienischen Restaurant kann man da nicht viel halten, die Pizza war völlig geschmacklos. Der Kellner hingegen war sehr freundlich.

Die Pizza Marinara roch unangenehm und war wenig appetitlich.

Das Essen wird in den Rezissionen 50 Prozent gut und 50 Prozent schlecht bewertet. Mir gefiel es auch überhaupt nicht, Salat war hart und mit der Soße zu einer matschigen Geschichte. Die Pizza meines Mannes war oben verbrannt, meine war in der Mitte kalt. Ich glaube richtige Italiener würden sowas niemal essen!! Also sorry, vielleicht hatte die andere Hälfte der Gäste einfach Glück, eine gute Pizza serviert zu bekommen.

Das war definitiv das Erste und letzte Mal dass wir hier bestellt haben. Unser Essen kam 1,5 Std zu früh ( Uhrzeit wurde von mir richtig auf 19:30 Uhr angeben) unser Essen kam dann auch um 19:30 Uhr, allerdings war es dass, was sie uns auch schon um 18 Uhr bringen wollten. Es wurde 1,5 Std gewärmt. Die Pizza war Knochenhart und furztrocken. Absolut ungenießbar. Eine absolute Frechheit so ein Essen zu liefern. 😡

Bad service. The waiters were completely unfriendly. They didn't even ask if everything was okay. Our waiter brought the bill without asking if we wanted anything else, even though the restaurant wasn't exactly crowded. Glasses were dirty. No soap in the restroom. Unfortunately, we can't recommend it at all.

Absolutely not recommended. We arrived for dinner at 2:40 PM and were told we only had 20 minutes to eat and drink, then we had to leave, even though the website says it's open until 10:30 PM. Absolutely unfriendly staff. We decided to skip the meal due to the time pressure and won't be coming back.

It's a real shame the pizza was too greasy and the base was very bad. Then the Indian food was super spicy, the rice was inedible, €41 for the whole thing, so incredibly disappointed. ...😞

The two of us ate there tonight. The appetizers were delicious, so we were really looking forward to the main courses. My husband had the steak, which was perfectly cooked, but like the pasta, it had little to no seasoning. So the ham and cream sauce was essentially just ham and cream. I ate little to nothing of the dish, which the staff didn't even notice, so we didn't even get a chance to ask for salt and pepper. When I was asked if I wanted something else instead, I said no and asked for it to be taken off the bill, which, mind you, also included the incorrectly charged wheat beer (should have been a malt beer). It only cost €4.50, but I saw on the bill that it was still on the bill. So I spent €15 there for 6 pasta dishes. Had I known, I would have taken the stuff with me and at least seasoned it properly at home. A completely terrible experience for me, and thus the first and last time at this restaurant.

The pizzas are truly amazing, handmade with fresh ingredients and baked in a stone oven. The service is very friendly and attentive.

The food was okay. If the waitresses were willing to work and tried to be friendly, a tip would be a given.

I don't understand why this pizzeria gets such a low rating. We had a nice table outside, and the pizzas were excellent and reasonably priced. Perhaps the service could have been a bit friendlier, but otherwise: A definite recommendation 👍

My mom invited us (6 people) to her birthday party yesterday – and it was absolutely wonderful! We received a very warm welcome, and the table was lovingly decorated with blossoms and fresh flowers – a wonderful first impression. As a welcome gift from the kitchen, there was a small token of appreciation, which we greatly appreciated. The grilled fish with fresh herbs and crisp vegetables was delicious and beautifully presented. The recommended wine paired perfectly. The price-performance ratio was absolutely perfect. At the end, we received a warm farewell from the chef, which rounded off the experience wonderfully. A clear recommendation – we'd love to come back. Thank you for the lovely afternoon!

The service rips you off if you "only" tip them 5 euros. Side salad: Sorry, but when I have to cut my salad, they stop. It cost 55 euros, I put down 70, and they told me to make it 60. The service puts down a 5-euro note. I point out that 5 euros are still missing. Instead, he brings me a schnapps that I didn't want to distract me. The food is, well, standard, just nothing special... Please go somewhere else to eat where the money is worth it!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ate the worst flammekueche of my life with huge pieces of onion (the photo speaks for itself. Never seen anything like it). The service is so poor and the waitress did not want to accept our comments and is in total denial. Just avoid stopping there. Disappointment guaranteed.

Deplorable! The waitress is as friendly as a prison door... we ordered a schnitzel and a flammenkusche. The flame is just disgusting; the onions are almost not cut whole. When I comment on this, the lady doesn't appreciate it and tells me the onions are fresh... so what? Luckily! I point out again that they're too big, she shows me that three people have ordered them, it's a hit, and they've been doing it this way for 11 years. At the next table, the customer overhears and points out that he also has large onions, but she doesn't listen, and when I tell her that feedback helps improve, she leaves while I'm talking to her. Cheeky, rude, and not very open to feedback... In short, avoid! No questioning, disastrous food, and catastrophic service!!!!!! I wasted 30 minutes of my life and wasted money being treated like dirt. Honestly, don't set foot in there.

We had a really good meal! Stone-baked pizza was a must for me when I saw they had one! Everyone gets olives as a welcome gift! The beer garden, or rather the outdoor area, is located on the busy street, which can be a bit annoying. Otherwise, it's great!

We always enjoy eating at Lucky, no matter what we order; it always tastes good. The staff is very friendly; what more could you want?

All the pizzas were delicious. Unfortunately, the salad dressing wasn't very flavorful and was watery. The onions on the tarte flambée were too rustically sliced. But I'd gladly come back for the pizzas.

Hmmmm... It was so mixed. The waiter was fake friendly. The table was still dirty. When I brushed the crumbs off the table, it didn't encourage him to clean it. The food arrived quickly. The pasta was cooked through, the sauce and pizza were delicious... No kids' meals!!!

We went to this pizzeria at Easter and it was simply fantastic! Despite the holiday, the service was super friendly, attentive and warm. The food came quickly and was incredibly tasty - the pizza was perfectly baked, with fresh ingredients and a wonderfully crispy base. The pleasant atmosphere made the visit even more special. Thank you for the great Easter dinner – we will definitely be back!

Nice location, friendly waiter but the Pizza was simply put: not good, ingredients barely any and badly scattered, doe was thin and too crunchy, sauce was too sour, close to no cheese. For a 12-18 price range I expected better.

Wir waren nach einem Cleufbesuch mit sechs Personen zum Mittagessen hier, es war unterirdisch schlecht. Von Gnocchi mit Steinpilzen ( 2 Ministückchen), Lasagne ( innen nicht durchgegart ), Saltimboca mit dicker Sahnesoße, Spaghetti mit Tomatenmark, einfach alles ungenießbar. Bei sechs verschiedenen Gerichten war nur der Flammkuchen gut. Riesige Portionen, völlig geschmacklos und nur auf die Teller geklatscht. Nie wieder!

We have never been served so unfriendly. Once the waiter was still on the phone while he brought the appetizer. I was halfway through my soup when the waiter wanted to bring the main course. When he saw this, he placed the plate on the counter and later in the kitchen, on the kitchen table that could be seen through the open crack in the door. From there back to our table. The food was still okay. But we felt very unwanted. That doesn't work at all.

Extremely friendly boss. We arrived with a group of 10 soaking wet teenagers and were warmly welcomed and served. The food was also delicious. We were very satisfied.

Essen wäre einigermaßen okay gewesen, aber in meinem Aperol Spritz war ein gebrauchter, angebissener Plastik Strohhalm. Als ich die Bedienung darauf ansprach, meinte er nur: "mein Gott ich kann nicht überall sein.....fand ich nicht prickelnd und mich hat's geeckelt.....

The schnitzels were soft because they were swimming in the cream sauce, the fries were okay, the mushrooms were countable. The salad was okay. The lasagne worked the same way. The service was even worse. When asked, people's eyes were rolled (older people, after all, who don't always understand everything straight away) and the answer wasn't exactly friendly, rather annoyed. They didn't even ask if you wanted something else to drink. The plates were only cleared after asking twice.

Disappointing meal. The owner was chatting quietly on the phone in a foreign language while clearing our table.

We were on a weekend bike tour in Orscholz and stopped at the pizzeria. Since we could sit outside there when the weather was nice, it was the place to go due to its proximity to our accommodation. The menu is more than varied. We chose Pizza Margherita and Tonno with anchovies. Green olives and white bread arrived from the house. The pizza still worked when it was hot, but the more it cooled, the greasier the topping became and the dough became extremely dry. The service was friendly. Price-performance doesn't invite us to come back. It should be noted that there are several pizzerias in Orscholz apart from the fairly priced Hotel Restaurant. A bit of variety would do the place good.

Wir hatten einen Ausflug zur Saarschleife unternommen und sind am Parkplatz auf das Ristorante aufmerksam geworden. Zur Mittagszeit bestellen wir uns Pizza. Der Kellner brachte uns das Mineralwasser und knallte die Flasche auf den Tisch. Er hat die ganze Zeit einen schlecht gelaunten Eindruck erweckt. Als die Pizza gebracht wurde , stellte er sie nur auf die Tischkante. Nicht vor uns als Gast. Da es sehr warm war an diesemTag wollten wir die Reste der Pizza mitnehmen. Leider brachte er nur einen Karton und hat sie mit den Fingern angefaßt und den Deckel mit einem unfreundlichen Grinsen geschlossen. Uns ist noch nie ein so unfreundlichen und herablassender Kellnern wie dort begegnet. Die Pizza war ja lecker aber den Rest mußten wir entsorgen , fanden er zu ecklig. Da werden wir nie wieder essen gehen.

We had delicious pizza & flammkuchen with our family. It is within walking distance of (the parking lot of) the Saarschleife treetop path, so ideal for a snack and a drink before or after.

Scalopine milanese was served with orange slices instead of lemons, which probably came from the last Aperol Spritz I drank. Fries hard and dry and a maximum of 3 cm long - i.e. leftovers from packages. Outdoor tables weren't wiped down and there weren't even paper sets for eating. It's okay that you had to add your own salt and pepper. Better like this than a dilapidated dish.

In contrast to all the other tables, we sat there like stepchildren... the only table that had no bread, no olives and no candlelight. The boss"? wished the guests at the next table bon appetit...apparently acquaintances...but walked past our table without a word. Pizza was good so far, but there was no oil either.. the forks that were missing from the table weren't a bad thing.. more like this.. "we're just tolerated" feeling. And it's not the first time that things didn't work there. So missed all chances! Adios goodbye🥴🥴🥴!!!

Pizza was good! Unfortunately, the seal eggs wouldn't have been possible. But delicious, good dough 👍 and crispy on the outside. Salad less... See photos. However, the espresso can be like in Italia 🇮🇹 although I don't think they were Italian at all. 😜 The espresso ☕ was hot and delicious...😋 It's rare.

Arrived with 3 families and ordered pizzas and pastas. The food was super tasty and the service was fast and friendly! And what the children didn't eat, we were allowed to take boxes with us.

We were there at the clinic for the health week and tried out both Italians during that time. I have to say I liked this one better, the food wasn't as greasy as next door and the taste was great 👍🏼 the pizza as well as the carbonara on the terrace is a bit tight but that didn't bother us even though it was very full we got our food quickly and the staff was always friendly despite the stress

We don't order there anymore. Something was always forgotten on the pizza. Often given opportunities, repeatedly disappointed.

Basically the pizza was delicious, unfortunately it was almost cold when I picked it up. Even though it was pre-ordered and picked up on time. And the specified size of 36cm was not achieved. On average only 32-33 cm.

Last night there were 3 of us there, I had ordered a salad with schnitzel, when I started to eat my salad moved, there was a big moth under the salad, I almost threw up and I immediately called the waiter and showed him He took the plate with him and asked me if I wanted a new salad, but I had lost my appetite. The waiter immediately said that it wasn't the kitchen's fault, but that the moth had come in from outside, just for information Is that what happened? She started eating straight away! No apology from her My husband had ordered a pizza with scampi and wanted it without salmon, but with olives instead. When the bill came, the entire salad was on it and we had to pay extra for the olives, which is a shame because salmon is more expensive than 5 olives ! They could have at least been more accommodating with the price, since the salad and mozte were all gone back, so that was the last time we were there, even though we went there often, but you don't have to put up with that! The restaurant has been extremely dismantled I thought the negative recessions were just a lie, but I've now been taught better!
