Ristorante Pizzeria OK - Bei Maria in Heppenheim (Bergstraße)

Ordered spaghetti with meat sauce, delivery service. You can forget that, spaghetti okay, salt and spices were missing for the flavor. The most important thing is almost no minced meat and tomato sauce. Therefore points deducted for my rating. I would like to post pictures for credibility.

I don't like making a negative entry, but I ordered "pizza, salad, etc" there yesterday because of the "many" positive entries and I was super disappointed. Pizza wasn't really cooked through, so to speak, or it could have been in the oven for a good 5 minutes longer and it tasted super salty. Salad had very little dressing on it so I had to add my own dressing. Sorry but for me it was a one-time order!

Oh, we came across Maria more by chance than planned. But we are over the moon and have found a new favorite in Pizza Olymp. The pizza is beyond any doubt.

We've been there twice now, on the first visit we ate grilled pepperoni, which were just swimming in oil and were nothing special, and they were burnt completely black. On the second visit the restaurant was very full. I had spaghetti carbonara which was very tasty. My partner had ordered Argentine rump steak, which was supposed to be medium rare and was extremely well done and tasted like fart-dry shoe soles and a lot of garlic. I passed it on when paying, she said she would let us know in the kitchen, which unfortunately was of no use to us after the meal. Unfortunately there was no apology. We waited almost 1 1/2 hours for the food. Unfortunately we won't be coming back, even though the staff was friendly and the place was clean.

I had dinner with my husband today. The terrace is a nice setting for dinner. And the restaurant is very clean. The pizza and salad were very tasty. My husband was also very happy with the rump steak. The service was very friendly. We will visit the restaurant again at any time.

My wife and I went to the Pizzeria OK / Maria today. We ordered a wheat beer, a wine spritzer and two pizzas. The drinks came relatively quickly. The service was nice. After 55 minutes had passed and our pizzas still weren't on the table, I told the waitress that it couldn't be done that way. After another 5 minutes of waiting, we went into the restaurant and told Maria how long we had been waiting. Not a word of apology was returned. We left the place of horror, hungry and without food. 08/05/2024 Reply!!!! It is a baseless and lying statement. Just shamelessly lying so boldly! Do the facts again: Yesterday, around 6 p.m., we came to an almost empty restaurant in a good mood and hungry. There were 3 tables occupied outside and 3 tables inside. We asked the waitress for a table. The nice answer was: "With the exception of the reserved table (1), you can sit anywhere. Nobody informed us about longer waiting times. Nobody mentioned anything about a staff shortage. It is an outrage to make customers wait 1 hour. After After waiting a little more than an hour, I went to the restaurant and said my opinion. We left the restaurant without food. I didn't pay for the two almost empty drinks. Now this lying Maria also complains about it If you counted against time, it would have been expensive for this shop. A little tip at the end: dear Maria, just stick to the truth!!!!

Update 5/25/24 Ordered something again, food came and schnitzel 1.50 more expensive than in the menu and also online menu. Side salad 1 euro more expensive plus 1 euro delivery surcharge. Side salad was tiny and the schnitzel was only half the size. That was the last time we ordered something there Not like it used to be, sorry, but the prices are high. Food is alright but the timings are ridiculous. My friend and I went when they were open but they said they’re closes because they don’t have enough people to serve. The same happened again 3 days ago when they closed an hour earlier and my friends had to get a Döner

We were 4 people. Ate schnitzel Gorgonzola, pizzas and OK salads. It tasted incredibly good. The portions were large for the price. Service very friendly. I can only recommend. We will always be happy to come.

Update to our original review: After a long time we were back in the pizzeria OK. The pizza is still very good, although the pizzas in the neighborhood are 10% cheaper. What we think is completely overpriced is the Pils 0.3 for a whopping €4.20. That's 30% more than in the neighborhood. So we feel compelled to venture there next time. A PITY !!! But this price development is not understandable.

We chose this Italian restaurant based on the positive reviews. Unfortunately, our expectations were ultimately not met. The ambience was appealing and seemed modern. However, the noise level in the dining room was very high, especially because of two very loud small children who were using the restaurant as a playground. This was very disturbing. In addition, the chairs and tables were placed so closely that there was hardly any space and the neighbors sat too close. Regarding the food: It was OK but not exceptional. Due to a lactose intolerance, we asked if the carbonara was made with cream or traditionally with bacon and egg. We were told it was without cream, but then we received the typical German version with cream and cooked ham. It's a mystery to me why some Italian restaurants still serve it this way. This was disappointing. The other pasta dishes were also just okay, but had to be seasoned because they tasted quite bland. The tiramisu was okay, but seemed more store-bought than homemade. In summary, a visit is okay at best, but not absolutely necessary. There are much better Italian restaurants and we will not be returning. The service was friendly and there were two people working in service. However, they could hardly give us any information about the contents of the dishes because they had not yet tried the pasta dish they wanted.

A delivery time of 2 hours was announced, which was also understandable due to carnival events. 20 minutes after the announced delivery date, we were put off on the phone for 5-10 minutes. “There would be so much going on.” The time was also not kept. Wir waren heute das erste Mal " Bei Maria" und fanden es sehr angenehm. Das Lokal war zur Mittagszeit sehr gut besucht und wir hatten das Essen, 3x Pizza und 1 x Rigatoni, recht zügig und schnell . Das Essen war frisch und lecker, mit einem sehr guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und auch der Service war sehr angenehm. Für leckere Pizza und Pasta eine klare Empfehlung. Wir kommen wieder.

Ich kann die guten Bewertungen nicht verstehen !!! Das einzige was i.O war, war die Bedienung. Pizza höchstens 3 Sterne, Aglio Olio nicht mal 1 Stern Beilagensalat i.O aber viel zu teuer. Ambiente 0 Sterne, in der Bahnofshalle ist es noch gemütlicher.

Schöne Terrasse, nettes Personal und leckere Pizza! Eher unglücklich ist, dass Aperol in verschieden grossen Gläsern /versch. Menge serviert und zum gleichen Preis verkauft wird, was nicht gut ankam... Wofür es bestimmt eine Lösung geben könnte

Ich war mit dem Essen hier immer sehr zu Frieden. Update: Wenn man nicht in der Lage ist die Onlinepreise aktuell zu halten, sollte man dann wenigstens dem Kunden entgegen kommen wenn vor Ort bei Abholung dann etwas anderes berechnet wird. Leider ists auch nicht mehr so gut wie es mal war.

Unser Stammlokal in Heppenheim. Super Essen, nette und aufmerksame Bedienung und schöne Terrasse! Lokal wurde kürzlich neu renoviert. Weiter so!

Für meine Geburtstagsfeier im Garten haben wir 8 Familienpizzen und Salate zum Liefern bestellt. Mengentechnisch ließen wir uns von der Inhaberin beraten - und es hat wirklich sehr gut gepasst! Damit wir während der Feier nicht selbst Pizza abholen müssen, haben wir mit der Pizzeria abgestimmt, dass die Pizzen auf unser Weinberg-Grundstück angeliefert werden. Das hat ebenso perfekt funktioniert. Der Lieferant war super nett und hat uns noch geholfen die Pizzen hochzutragen und zu verteilen. Jetzt zum Wichtigsten: Die Pizzen waren superlecker, so dass wir mehrfach angesprochen wurden, wo wir denn die Pizzen bestellt haben! Der Salat war frisch und knackig, die Salatsauce kam in getrennten Behältnissen, so dass der Salat erst vor Ort angerichtet wurde. Alles in allem hat es super funktioniert und sehr lecker geschmeckt, so dass ich als Ausrichter der Feier keinen Stress mit dem Vorbereiten von Essen hatte. Auch war es quasi auf die Minute pünktlich. Am Ende war jeder satt und happy, von daher jederzeit wieder, vielen Dank! Vielleicht noch ein paar Worte zu der Pizzeria selbst: Sie befindet sich in einem Wohngebiet und ist - insbesondere nach dem Umbau 2023 - sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Im Sommer lädt die vorgelagerte Terrasse zum verweilen und genießen ein, so dass wir auch dort immer gerne vorbeischauen. Manchmal dauert es etwas länger als erhofft, dafür entschädigt das gute Essen immer für eine etwaige Wartezeit! Das Personal ist höflich und aufmerksam. Wir gehen dort sehr gerne essen! Auch bietet die nahegelegene Eisdiele "Monteleone" eine gute Möglichkeit, das leckere Essen mit einer ebenso kulinarischen Kugel Eis "abzurunden" :-)
