Delicious food, incredibly friendly service, lovely atmosphere. Because it was very busy, it was quite noisy.

The pasta was too al dente, and the squid was too rubbery and burnt. Otherwise, the service was OK.

Unfriendly restaurant owner. Boss! Sunday lunch, very little to do! Without a greeting, a menu was placed on our table after 10 minutes. My question: Can we order our drinks now? Short answer: Come right back. After another 10 minutes: What would you like to drink? They've already chosen something. We told them our drinks and our meal preferences. 5 minutes later, our drinks arrived 👍. After another 15 minutes of preparation, our two dishes were brought. Again, without a word, and the FRIENDLY boss was gone! A dirty water glass was reported to the neighboring table for San Pelegrino. .

For excellent food in a family-friendly Italian atmosphere, prepared personally and according to the original recipe by "La Piccola-Mama," you should definitely stop here! Whether pasta or pizza, we've enjoyed everything so far! The portions are very generous: if you want to enjoy the homemade tiramisu for dessert, you should hold back on the freshly baked pizza rolls...even if it's difficult! The service staff are extremely attentive and friendly. We really like the humor of "Neustadt-Berlusconi." A table reservation is recommended!

Super authentic Italian restaurant with the owner from Puglia.

Generally recommended. Unfortunately, the service was poor. Something was forgotten, and there was no apology afterward. We ended up sitting around waiting for quite a while, even though we wanted to order something. Unfortunately, it also took a long time before we could pay.

Full marks! We had a great evening with delicious food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. The salad was crisp and fresh, the lasagna was delicious and plentiful, the tortellini was delicious and plentiful, and the pizza was well-topped and very tasty. Reasonable value for money. Pizza with a drink was under €20. A bit more with salad. The food is worth every cent.

Unfortunately, I have to give it one star to be able to write a review. When I asked if the spaghetti contained egg, the waitress replied that she had to look at the package. Where is the authenticity of their online advertisement for fresh, handmade pasta? In my opinion, this isn't a real Italian restaurant, even though they call themselves that.

Not recommended. Unfriendly service. As a guest, you're called dirty just because you have a tattoo. That's unacceptable. The pizza was rubbery; I only ate it because it was too expensive for my standards. I'd rather continue going to my Greek restaurant, Eleon, right across the street!

I'd love to give no stars at all, but unfortunately, you have to give at least one to even write a review. I ordered a calzone. It looked okay on the outside, but it was only slightly warmed up, so the mozzarella hadn't melted. The little rolls in a basket were completely inedible; they tasted like yeast. It didn't feel like a real Italian restaurant at all. I can't recommend this restaurant at all! However, I can recommend the Eleon restaurant directly across the street, as they serve much better food.

Four of us were there last night and had made a reservation. We were shown an outside table without even asking where we wanted to sit, and we had to walk around the building to get there. When we wanted to use the restrooms after dinner, we were told, in what I considered an inappropriate tone, that guests need to move around after eating, so we'd have to walk around the building again. The restrooms are very narrow, and if you're not careful, you'll end up getting hit by the door of the other restroom. Both doors also have to be closed to enter or exit the restrooms. My spaghetti was undercooked, and unfortunately, all the dishes had already cooled down to the point where they were ready to eat. When one of us was insulted while paying, it was clear to us that we would never go there again!

All in all, highly recommended!! Delicious Italian restaurant with good value for money, right next to Neustädter Markt. The restaurant itself is very small and cramped (including the restrooms), but there's a nice, large, covered outdoor seating area in the backyard. Unfortunately, you can't get to the restrooms from there; you have to go back through the gate and into the restaurant from the front. We were served by an older, shorter gentleman (possibly the boss) and a younger gentleman with blond hair. Both were very nice and accommodating, and the possibly boss had a funny manner and always a joke ready! Top-👍🏽! My pizza had a very crispy and delicious crust, and overall, the rest of the pizza was also very tasty, but a bit watery, which made the crust very soggy in the middle.🤷🏽‍♂️

We were spontaneous guests. Without a reservation, there was no room in the rather small dining room. Luckily, because in the warmer weather, it was much nicer on the terrace. Unfortunately, you have to walk all the way around the outside of the building to reach the restaurant. The advantage of the terrace is that it's also wheelchair accessible. The food, pizza and antipasti, completely won us over.

The “sliding door” is now my regular Italian restaurant. I like to drive from Grömitz to Neustadt The food is always delicious, the service is top, special requests are no problem. And been there again and of course super satisfied again 🍕🍺🍝🍷😋😋😋

I've been coming to Neustadt every now and then for over 20 years and have tried many Italian restaurants. La Piccola is authentic and genuinely good. For me, the best in town.

A small Italian restaurant with a garden terrace that is actually family-run (Italian). There will be typical Italian dishes at a high level. We eat here regularly and are consistently satisfied with the food and the courteous service. A reservation is urgently required. Not all dishes are prepared according to the original Italian recipes (spaghetti carbonara, no guanciale with cream). But this is also evident from the menu.

Food ok, as it's not that cheap either. Real Italian food for sure. The pictures of Bud Spencer on the walls were nice.

On February 9th I celebrated my birthday at the La Piccola restaurant in Neustadt in Holstein and would like to share my positive impressions.  The ambience of the restaurant is charming and cozy, which contributes to a relaxed atmosphere.  The service was outstanding; the staff was attentive and friendly, which made the evening particularly pleasant. The steak I ordered was excellently prepared and of high quality. The menu offers a diverse selection of Italian dishes, all fresh and tasty.  Overall, our visit to La Piccola was a complete success. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who values ​​good food, excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere.

We were there on a Saturday evening. The online reservation worked well. I found it a bit strange that the time at the table was limited to 90 minutes. When we arrived at the restaurant we were greeted warmly and taken to our table after a short wait. Personally, the tables were too far together for me. So that man had no privacy. The food came quickly after ordering. We had pizza. The ingredients were fresh. Unfortunately the pizza dough was also too fresh. I would have expected more from an Italian restaurant here. The prices are rather high. If you want to eat something acceptable quickly and are prepared to dig a little deeper into your pockets, you're in good hands here. If you want to enjoy good Italian cuisine in a cozy atmosphere, you should perhaps look for another restaurant. (This is my personal opinion. Others may have had different experiences)

We ate in the pizzeria for the first time today and both of our pizzas and the wine were really delicious! The senior boss then gives the whole thing that special Italian charm. Absolutely recommended :-)

I reserved a table for 4 people over two weeks ago and received a reservation confirmation immediately. Today the restaurant called me and canceled my reservation because there was a private party that day; Apparently the colleague only noticed my reservation in the system today. From my point of view, there are two options here: 1) The employee is telling the truth, i.e. no guest can be sure that a reservation two weeks before the appointment will not be canceled 2) The restaurant has a request for a closed party at short notice got and therefore canceled for us 4 unimportant guests. Both variants are absolute no-gos. Very annoying for us, because I have been to this restaurant every time I have been to Neustadt and this time I invited my sister for my birthday and came all the way from Buxtehude. For the rest of my life, neither I nor my circle of friends will appear at your company again.

Even the order was great: very warm, very empathetic, and then I was really looking forward to the food. Very fast delivery! The food itself was excellent. Nicely prepared, very rich and extremely tasty. The tiramisu is really recommended, rarely so delicious. Thank you very much for this culinary highlight in the emergency service.

A small, inconspicuous pizzeria. When we visited at lunchtime, there were a lot of locals here, probably on their lunch break... The selection of food and drinks was great and the prices were reasonable. We each ordered a “Pizza Bruschetta”. This was special because it wasn't gratinated with cheese. Super tasty...plenty of toppings...a real taste experience. If we are in Neustadt again, we will definitely come back.

Delicious Italian! The pasta is highly recommended - contrary to the small portions of pasta that are usually served at Italian restaurants, here you fill up very well, almost 2 portions. Service is nice but sometimes not so attentive (no salt/pepper at the table, no cutlery at the table - both taken from the neighboring table. Parmesan was brought "not so happily" when asked) Winter garden is recommended, good air and heat radiators and blankets would be available.

Apparently a lot of regulars here. It smelled so temptingly good that we went in here as a small family of three, even though there is no dedicated lunch menu. Our little daughter got her beloved pasta (penne) with butter and (a lot of) cheese, mom and dad decided on pizza margarita. Everything was very tasty, freshly prepared and fairly priced. We found the situation with the advertised winter garden a bit strange. This is basically a kind of marquee in the courtyard, which you can NOT reach from the restaurant; Rather, you have to go out of it, walk about 25 meters along the street and then go into a busy driveway, past residents' parking spaces and then you have arrived. If you then have to go to the toilet, the whole game, this little trip, goes back accordingly. We then decided to sit in the restaurant, even though it was actually too warm for us there. Nevertheless, the bottom line is a successful visit and a good decision for this restaurant.

The lasagna was tasty and sufficient. The pasta dish for children was sufficient and tasty. Upon request, the ham and mushrooms were left out. The margarita pizza was also fresh and delicious. The ambience is well thought out. The restaurant is easy to reach, unfortunately you have to walk 20m further across a courtyard to get to the winter garden. The winter garden is well kept and inviting. Unfortunately, you can only go to the toilet again if you go back across the courtyard to the main entrance. Very unsuitable for people with disabilities. The toilets very small and narrow. Instead, a funny saying above the toilet door. See photo. We were allowed to take the leftover food with us without any problem and because we liked the pizza rolls so much, we even got some for free. We'll be back, thank you very much. 🍀

In short, there were three of us and two of us vomited several times during the night

I ate at La Piccola twice last week. On the first evening I ordered Saltimbocca all Romana. A dish whose main ingredient is veal. It is served with a white wine sauce. At La Piccola you get this dish with turkey schnitzel and a sauce that has absolutely nothing to do with a white wine sauce. You can do it that way, but you should then give the dish a different name. On the second evening I ordered pasta with squid. Aside from the fact that the food was cold when it was served, it was completely bland and tasteless. It should actually be spicy. Plus a completely overflowing plate that makes you feel hungry just by looking at it. I let the food go back and didn't have to pay for it. The second glass of the very good Primitivo that is served there was not brought to the table despite repeated requests. I came across La Piccola after asking in another restaurant because my daughter wanted to eat fresh pasta. However, I was already told there that there had probably been a change of ownership and that unfortunately the quality has suffered since then. Anyone who likes large plates and places more value on quantity rather than class will probably be satisfied there. I cannot recommend the restaurant for lovers of good Italian cuisine.

Very nice Italian. The terrace in particular is highly recommended. We all had pizza. And it was super delicious! All fresh ingredients and perfectly crafted.

Unfortunately, more stars are not possible. The food is quite good even if the seafood pizza came more like a pizza tonno and homeopathically distributed mussels and Italian beer, which was on the menu, wasn't there. We were only asked about drinks once and a final dessert or hot drink was never an issue, which I have never experienced from an original Italian restaurant.
