Drinks came quickly, food took over an hour. Very cold in the restaurant, this was said to the boss and his answer was original: "Then think warmly." Such audacity can hardly be surpassed. Never again

Today we were at the ice cream stand, which is also part of the restaurant. The children were already looking forward to their ice cream and we waited about 5 minutes. The window at the ice cream counter was open. So also for the sale of ice cream scoops, sundaes, etc. Suddenly a woman, probably the operator, shouted from inside that she wasn't selling ice cream today due to a lack of staff. That too in English. She also seemed completely overwhelmed and a bit annoyed. If there is no staff there, you should limit yourself to what can be done or done. Since it was my first time there, I obviously had a negative impression. Too bad. So we went to the ice cream shop opposite, who served us promptly and courteously.

Service (by the boss) took his time. Ice cream was carelessly prepared and served that way. Payment also took a long time. We observed that some guests left early after a long wait (good decision). Conclusion: 1 x - not again The only thing that saves the place is the beautiful location

No food received, the shop was too full... then not.

The location saves this restaurant from bankruptcy because the food is definitely not a reason to come back. The spaghetti carbonara has a consistency that I have never experienced before. The pizza is okay with a lot of goodwill. In general, every food drowns in fat and oil, even salad (Insalata Mista). With slight nausea and stomach pains, we regretted eating here for the rest of the day. NEVER AGAIN

NOT RECOMMENDED! We went to the restaurant for dinner around 7 p.m. We received a menu fairly quickly and then our ordered drinks fairly quickly. Now it's 8:30 p.m. and we're still waiting for the food we ordered. Many other guests feel the same way. We have heard the question about how long it takes to eat several times. Despite frequent visits from the waitress, no one asked for another drink. In my opinion, the shop can only survive through "one-time visitors" because tourists are lured by the many free tables. Edit: You definitely have to give them credit for the fact that the food, even if only 2 out of 3 dishes were right, was definitely tasty.

Never again. I can only advise against eating here. After about 10 minutes of waiting we received the card, and the drinks arrived quite quickly. That was it then. After 2 hours (!) we left and hadn't received any food by then. When we asked if the food would be coming soon, we only got the rude answer from the service: "How should I know? I'm not the pizza maker". Incredible. This has really never happened to us before. That's just extremely unprofessional. Save your valuable time on vacation and stop next door.

Facility dingy and unclean. Pizza to go is available in ten minutes, we waited at the table for an hour. Service slightly annoyed and overwhelmed. No recommendation.

First of all, it took forever for anyone to come. Ordered food/drinks and then waited an hour for food. If there weren't any children there who were hungry, it wouldn't have been so bad. Meanwhile, I observed people who were waiting for the pizzas they had ordered (to be picked up) for just as long as we had been waiting for our food (and they had ordered by phone), and were accordingly excited. The pizza was OK, not good but not bad either. The best was saved for last because only the boss, who is completely overwhelmed, does the collecting because he doesn't seem to trust anyone, at least none of the women were allowed to collect. You can imagine the mood among the staff. When we later wanted some ice cream from the street vendor, we were turned away with “no more ice cream sales,” even though everything was still open and available (7:50 p.m.). Apparently no one has any need to make sales there. I suspect the shop only exists because it's a tourist spot where 90% never come back, otherwise it would have been closed long ago.

When we arrived, the staff already seemed stressed and overwhelmed. No view of who has just sat down and where still needs to be cleared away. We had to explicitly request the card after a quarter of an hour. We had to wait more than 90 minutes for the pizzas with our hungry children. An initial friendly inquiry was only reassured and the capacity utilization was pointed out. Instead we had to continue to wait for a long time. When asked again, the boss responded rudely. As it turned out in conversation with other guests, we were not the only ones with this fate - both that evening and in previous years. The food itself was okay, but not a culinary masterpiece. The reviews so far suggest that this is not a one-off situation. The shortage of skilled workers can only be used as an explanation to a limited extent, meaning that personnel measures could have been taken long ago. A word of apology for such long waiting times or a reference to it or a gesture of acknowledgment - especially with families - would actually have been the least. It's a shame, especially for young families, Italian restaurants are a guarantee for successfully eating out with the children on vacation. Unfortunately, this location does not make a positive contribution to Pelzer Haken's family-friendly calling card.

We had 2x lasagne, 1x spaghetti with tomato sauce and 1x rigatoni bolognese. Everything was very tasty (including the spicy tomato sauce, which wasn't actually ordered spicy). We were served quickly and friendly. The furnishings were a bit older, but that didn't bother us. I can't say anything about the toilets, we didn't use them.

Dear holidaymakers, Don't make the same mistake and order takeaway here and eat on site. Reasons for the assessment include: - veryrrrr long waiting time at least 1.5 hours. We didn't receive any food after TWO hours and, like other guests, left. - Very unfriendly service - ... Have a nice vacation

And enjoyed it! The best wine on site, a Gavi de Gavi, which is very conservatively priced at €33 a bottle. Seafood salad top, pizza top. Best quality on Strandallee. The boss is an old school Italian warrior, very nice.

Service, disaster, you wait about 2 hours for the food. Apart from a reasonably nice waitress, no one can speak German. The pizza maker prefers to talk to other people instead of worrying about the food. I definitely advise against going out to eat here, as you can invest the 2 wasted hours somewhere else. It's a shame it doesn't get less than 1 star...

I don't recommend going with small children because the wait at this restaurant is so long that the kids will probably have to go to bed by the time you get your food. The waiters are always busy with something else. Unfortunately you can't rate it below one star.

This is our third year in Pelzerhaken. The first year we were put off by the negative reviews and stayed away from this pizzeria. In the second year we wanted to try it and regretted not having eaten pizza there the first year. This year it was once again a culinary delight. Well prepared and also highly recommended in terms of taste. Nothing wrong with the price either. We can't judge what it's like to eat there because we always order take-away. But absolutely great from ordering to collection. Finished at the specified time. Hardly any waiting time. So we can't say anything negative about ToGo. Always my pleasure. We've been hearing for years that the owner wants to give up his business. It would be a big loss for us.

We were here in the evening and ordered for three people (although the waitress took 10 minutes to come to us) The drinks arrived after 15 minutes, OK We waited over 2 hours for the food (two pizzas and pasta), despite asking. The quality was also not satisfactory. A juice shop, never again!!

We arrived at about 5:30 p.m. The seat cushion on the chair was dirty and the menu was also dirty. Overall, the store made a somewhat dingy impression. The order was taken and we only received the drinks. At 6:30 p.m. we asked if we had been forgotten. The waitress just said “no, no”. We were ignored. At 7:00 p.m. the waitress came and admitted that we had been forgotten. You could have noticed it when we asked. We paid for the drinks and ate elsewhere. So I can't rate the food, but the service is below all... A pity!!!

Today I had dinner there with my husband. The next table was already in a really bad mood. The children had finished the pasta for half an hour and the others were still waiting for the pizza. The visitors were in a bad mood and the staff was super stressed and in a bad mood. It wasn't packed though. After 45 minutes of waiting I asked where our pizza was!?! Then it was prepared. Others who came after us had their dishes quicker. Then after an hour our pizzas arrived. They looked and tasted great until we discovered the hair. Unfortunately we lost our appetite and showed it to the waitress. She said sorry and asked if we wanted to pay. Yes! We were charged full price. I don't normally write reviews, but that wasn't possible!

Ate here today outside on the terrace with my wife. Rarely eaten so well!!! Service, young lady, very friendly and accommodating!!! I can't understand the negative reviews because she doesn't speak perfect German. I was able to talk to her very well. No issue!!! Top service!

Very fine pizza. We cannot understand the negative reviews. The pizzeria brings Italian flair to the north. Not everything is perfect in Italy either, but that's what makes it likeable. The boss bakes the pizzas himself, the service was nice and the decor was Italian ;-)

We were in the restaurant with two people on Sunday evening. We ordered 2 pizzas and drinks. The drinks came after 5 minutes and the pizzas after another 10 minutes and they were delicious 😋😋😋. We have never had such delicious pizzas and are both over 50 years old. The quality of the food is at the top, even if the furnishings are getting old and the staff has difficulties with the German language, the food is really lonely Great. We would love to come back 😉

We once again had a fantastic meal (Scaloppine ai funghi) and can't understand the sometimes very negative reviews. The outdoor area with a view of the Baltic Sea is great and the boss can be very warm... maybe it's because of how you meet the people yourself. In any case, we would love to come back!

Very good, loving cuisine with typical Italian dishes. The boss makes the pizza himself. The decor takes you back to 20-30 years ago. The service and ambience are friendly, almost warm. I can highly recommend it.

Great food and service and reasonable prices

The waitress doesn't speak a word of German. Doesn't even understand the word lunch. The canteen style mentioned previously in the reviews fits. The furnishings are wildly put together. Mostly super dirty and just disgusting. You don't even want to sit down. The employees sit in the middle and play on their cell phones instead of serving. The chef lets you know that you want something. The supposed owner is loudly watching cell phone videos - when you point this out to him he gets snotty and says it wasn't loud at all. Food was quite ok. Unfortunately, the mushrooms actually came from a can. The toilet facilities are partly defective, partly completely dirty - like the whole shop. The table runners on the tables were also completely dirty. We could have taken so many more photos.

Pizza ok, rather average. Meat was tender, the side dishes were fine except for the canned mushrooms. Service was a disaster. Child-friendly for sure, because children are allowed to do anything there. Noise level like in the school yard. Not with us again.

Were there with the family. Staff very child friendly. We had Pizza Fruty de Mare which was very tasty. Special small portions were offered for the children, which were also very plentiful. The other dishes were also delicious.

The store has nothing worth coming back for. The service slurps on the floor, the food tastes bland and the ambience has the character of a canteen. Sorry, but that was nothing at all.

Very, very tasty. First of all, bruschetta, main courses two pizzas, made by hand and so delicious! We were there at 4 p.m. and it gets busier from 6 p.m.

We ordered 2 pizzas to take away. After 10 minutes the pizzas were ready. They were very friendly to us (after initially being taciturn) and we liked the pizzas, fresh mushrooms and a wonderfully crispy edge.

We from the North Sea always come to this restaurant when we are nearby because we know the landlord from our hometown of Bremerhaven It's always a pleasure to eat there I hope it will last for some time.

We waited 30 minutes to be served even though we were the only ones in the store. We ordered a hot chocolate, it arrived cold. We were served the wrong food and the minced meat in the lasagne was often undercooked. Finally we wanted to get some ice cream. The ice cream tasted like rubber and like it had been thawed and refrozen 5 times. All four of us had stomach upsets afterwards. The staff was also very unfriendly. That's why I only give it a one star rating.

We found this ristorante in PELZERHAKEN yesterday in the storm and rain and are absolutely thrilled!! We cannot understand the negative reviews!! Good service and the food PERFECT!! Everything is fresh and really, really generous portions!! Since we are often at Timmendorfer Strand, we will definitely come back!!

The first thing we were greeted with was unfriendly. The drinks came on a dirty tray. The salad, salami pizza and pizza Italia were still okay (although my son thought his salami pizza was terrible) but the Quattro Formagi pizza and the Quatro Formagi pasta were not edible: the cheese had a consistency like the sole of a shoe and the taste was terrible. We also had to wait a long time for the bill. I can only advise everyone to avoid this place. I've never eaten so badly in my life.

Also so schlecht wie es fast alle hier schreiben ist es definitiv nicht. Das Essen war sehr lecker (ich war überrascht aufgrund der Bewertungen). Gut gewürzt, heiß und geschmacklich gut abgerundet. Die Portionen waren sehr groß, was super ist. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und aber es waren nur er und ein weiterer Mitarbeiter. Ich kann mir vorstellen, wenn sehr viel los ist, dass es dementsprechend lange dauert.

Durch Zufall ausprobiert, aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Das Essen wurde frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich gab es nichts auszusetzen. Das Restaurant wird gerne von jungen Leuten aufgesucht, kinderfreundliche lockere Atmosphäre.

Die tollste Pizza mit dem berühmten italienischen Pizzaboden (Pizza Italiano) und authentisch italienischem Kellner. Sehr herzlich und locker. Lieben wir. Grazie ! Wir kommen wieder :)) <3

Im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist Italia völlig ok. Das Essen war durchweg wirklich gut, frisch und reichlich. Tatsächlich dauert es etwas länger, aber das kann man einplanen. Die Preise sind sehr moderat.

Im Gegensatz zu den anderen Bewertungen, kann ich mich nur positiv äußern. Das Essen war super lecker und für die Preise gab es sehr ordentlich Portionen. Der Service war für mich perfekt und klar gab es eine Wartezeit aber erstens ich bin im Urlaub, da ist es mir nicht wichtig auf die Uhr zu schauen und zweitens hat der Service ( leider weiß ich den Namen nicht aber eine super nette blonde Dame) trotz fehlenden Personal versucht alle wünsche aller Gäste zeitnah zu erfüllen. Danke an euer Team für zwei leckere Abende die ich bei euch war:-)

Als wir dort waren, gab es nur Pizza (angeblich war der Koch krank). Daher können wir nur die Pizza beurteilen - die war auf jeden Fall in Ordnung. Bis wir unsere Bestellung aufgeben konnten, verging schon ordentlich Zeit. Nun ja...das mag dem fehlenden Personal geschuldet sein. Ansonsten aber freundlich und nen Lolli fürs Kind gab es auch. 😊👍🏻 Dringend ausbaufähig ist hingegen das Ambiente: keine einheitlichen Tische/Stühle, verblichene/durchgesessene Auflagen. Keinerlei Deko auf dem Tisch. Die Tische wurden zwischendrin NIE gewischt. 2 der 3 Damentoiletten waren nicht benutzbar. Keine Hintergrundmusik o.ä. Da ist sicher mehr möglich, wenn man ein bisschen investiert.

Meine Freundin und ich speisten hier zu Abend. Wir hatte eine Pizza Calzone und eine Pizza Quattro Formagi. Essen war hoch Qualitativ und wir mussten auch gar nicht lange warten. Service sehr freundlich. Preise angemessen. Ich würde sogar sechs Sterne geben. Ganz klare Empfehlung. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir wussten um die schlechten Bewertungen (die nicht erst seit gestern existieren 😬), dennoch wollten wir italienisch essen. Getränke und Essen wurde schnell aufgenommen (wir waren ja auch die Einzigen im Innenraum) und serviert von einer eher unfreundlich wirkenden älteren Frau. Die Wartezeit auf das Essen war nicht lange, wahrscheinlich weil wir mit die einzigen Gäste waren. Das Essen war leider geschmacklich durchwachsen: die Salami Pizza war das einzige was geschmacklich gut war. Die Tomatensuppe hat nach nichts geschmeckt und war recht wässrig; wenigstens war sie warm. Die Spaghetti Alio e olio waren total fad: die Nudeln geschmacklos, der Knoblauch sehr spärlich vorhanden, dafür mehr Peperoni… trotz Nachwürzen mit Salz und Pfeffer war da nichts zu holen. Schade. Dann doch lieber zu einen der anderen Restaurants in direkter Nachbarschaft. Erschreckt habe ich mich auch über den Preis für ein 0,5 Liter Bier mit über 6 Euro! Zum Ambiente: im Innenraum der Scharm eines Jugendherberg-Speiseraum, zT sind die Polster verschmutzt. Wenigstens die Toiletten waren sauber. Ich wundere mich bis heute wie es das Restaurant schafft, sich an der guten Stelle in Pelzerhaken zu halten… wir gehen da nicht mehr hin.

Restaurant eigentlich in Top-Lage und mit durchaus leckerem Essen. Allerdings war die Wartezeit teilweise eine Zumutung, ebenso wie das sehr unfreundliche Auftreten unserer Bedienung (dunkelhaarige ältere Dame). Schade.

MEGA Solch klasse Pizza bekommt man selten. Nicht 3x3 cm Rand ohne Belag sondern flach und prima belegt. Allein der Teig ist schon viel schmackhafter als bei Konkurenz und Dr Oetker. War wirklich Klasse. Nur: der arme Wirt turnt da ganz allein rum.... Möchte dem denn keiner zur Seite stehen?

Leider waren unsere Erfahrungen hier nicht gut. Das Ambiente ähnelt stark eines Speisesaals einer Jugendherberge. Der Service war dürftig, bin zum Zahlen nach einiger Zeit aufgestanden, wer weiß, wie lange ich noch hätte warten müssen. Der Service bedient nebenbei noch den Eis Verkauf zur Straße hin. Die Pizza Fungi von mir war in Ordnung. Sie hatte wenigstens frische Champignons, allerdings auch nicht viel Geschmack, dafür war sie sättigend. Die Pizza Calzone meiner Frau hingegen war ein Desaster. Der Boden war angebrannt, der Rand war viel zu breit und trocken und die Füllung bestand unter anderem aus gefühlten vier bis fünf Scheiben Schinken, die einfach lieblos zusammengerollt reingequetscht wurden. Preislich war es sehr günstig, allerdings auch mit wenig Qualität. So kommen wir nicht wieder. Schade, da wir sonst gerne italienisch Essen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, sowohl Pizza, als auch Salate und Pastagerichte. Bestellung für außer Haus ging relativ flott und zuverlässig, nette Leute und original Italiener.

Mussten lange warten bis wir bedient wurden trotz wenigem Betrieb,falsche Pizza bekommen,wurde dann nachträglich mir ganzen kl.Tomaten,viel zu dick geschnittenen Parmaschinken und Rucola der dicke harte Stiele hatte belegt.Keine Bedienung vor Ort,Chef pendelte zwischen Teig kneten und Geld kassieren,die Lasagne meines Mannes war in Ordnung.

Wir wollten eigentlich bereits am Vortag hier essen, jedoch hatte der Italiener außerplanmäßig geschlossen. Haben es dann am nächsten Abend ein weiteres Mal versucht. Die Wartezeit von ca. 30 Minuten bei vier Pizzen war in Ordnung. Die Servicekraft war stehts bemüht, jedoch standen andere Servicekräfte in der Gegend herum. Das Ambiente im Lokal wirkt ziemlich dunkel und überfüllt. Der Gastraum wirkt ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Die Pizzen haben gut geschmeckt. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist eine relativ offene Küche.

Das Essen ist gut. Der Service ist es nicht. Mittags, bei nur drei besetzten Tischen, wird man erstmal ignoriert. Bei Aufnahme der Bestellung vermittelt sich der Eindruck, dass man eigentlich stört. Kleine Sonderwünsche wie 0,1l Wein „gibt es nicht“. Nächstes mal halt nach Neustadt, da findet sich bestimmt was Nettes.

Wir haben hier Pizza gegessen und die war sehr lecker. Die anderen Gerichte kann ich nicht beurteilen aber sahen bei den anderen Gästen auch sehr appetitlich aus!

Ja was soll ich sagen... Ich muss mich leider den schlechten Bewertungen anschließen. Wir hatten Pizza die nicht gut war. Personal war auch nicht besonders freundlich. Wartezeit war okay aber es war auch nicht voll. Wir können sie leider nicht weiter empfehlen.

Langes Warten auf das Essen, dann noch falsches Gericht bekommen und angeschnauzt worden von der (dunkelhaarigen) Bedienung, weil ich ihr den Besteckteller nicht abgenommen habe. Der Koch war wohl alleine in der Küche und überfordert. Viele Gäste sind ohne zu bestellen wieder gegangen, nachdem aus dem Inneren des Restaurant lautes Gemecker auf Italienisch nach draußen auf die Terrasse schallte. 😂 Echt schräg. Und das war erst zum Anfang der Saison. Ist meine erste negative Rezension überhaupt, weil ich so etwas normalerweise nicht mache. Aber so was geht gar nicht. Zwei Sterne sind für die freundliche Bedienung mit den blonden Haaren.

Pizza OK, aber Weizenbier alkoholfrei für 6,40 Eur ist dann doch jenseits der Schmerzgrenze. Keine Wiederholung.

Abschlussessen vor der Abreise. Der Chef sehr nett und freundlich. Allerdings herrschte auf der Toilette das reinste Chaos. Danach las ich vor dem Bestellen die Rezensionen und wollte eigentlich wieder gehen. Allerdings wurde das Essen immer sehr gut beschrieben. Also blieben wir. Mein überbackenes Gemüse war komplett hart und nicht wirklich essbar. Die Lasagne teilweise nur lauwarm. Brot zum Dippen gab es nicht. Ich habe das Ganze etwas beobachtet, Personal sprach kein Deutsch und Englisch, demnach haben sie nur das Essen verteilt, ist ja auch nicht schlimm, aber der Chef hatte genau wie beschrieben viel zu tun, am Nachbartisch sein Bierchen mit Gästen zu trinken, zu telefonieren, am Handy zu googlen. Auf Nachfrage ging das Bezahlen schnell, aber man muss hingehen und ihn ansprechen. 2 Sterne trotzdem für die Nettigkeit und ich habe gehört, die Pizza soll da gut sein. Also vielleicht dann einfach nur die Pizza bestellen und mitnehmen. Für anderes ist da wenig Kapazität.

Wir waren zu viert dort essen . Bruschetta mit gerade so noch essbaren Tomaten und das Brot war alt . 3 Gerichte waren okay , Arrabiata mit sehr viel altem Knoblauch zubereitet, ging garnicht . Lieblos eingerichtet , aber die Toiletten waren die Krönung, völlig verdreckt , alle drei übrigens , kein Toilettenpapier , Boden , Mülleimer alles eklig 🤢
