Thanks to Google we found this place, luckily we pre-ordered well in advance and were able to spend a wonderful evening here. The place really looks fantastic - very authentic and with a feel-good factor. The boss greeted us warmly and the selection of dishes sounded perfect. We chose a Quattro Formaggi pizza and a tiramisu for dessert. Both were extremely tasty! The food was Italian in style and after paying we even got a nice chat with the boss and a shot of our choice on the house. We'll definitely be back when we're on the Moselle. Please make sure that you can only pay in cash :)

Dolce Vita on the Moselle... we discovered this restaurant by chance... and were speechless... the pizza is really world class... you definitely have to try it! The ambience is loving and cozy... and a very nice boss despite the Easter stress... we will definitely come back to the beautiful Moselle and then definitely back to this place with the delicious Italian cuisine...

Very cozy pizzeria in an old half-timbered house. Very friendly and fast service. We were lucky that Francesco himself did the magic in the kitchen and what can I say: the best pizza I have ever eaten. It was so good that we went back to see Francesco the next day. The pizza, No. 27 Cappricciosa, was the top hit. Thin floor which, despite having more than enough covering, was not soggy. The edge was crispy but not dry. The pizza was a lot bigger than the plate that came with it, so it filled you up very well. The price is completely ok considering the quality, size and the Bela🤷🏽🤷🏽🤷🏽 Any time.

A real italian place with fabulous italian food in a great location on the Moselle Valley. If you're in Cochem and if you wanna avoid tourist traps, this is the place for you, just drive 15 minutes and you'll thank me later!

Great Italian, a bit hidden. But worth it for very authentic food and staff. Ambiance very rustic (it was probably something else before). Only the music was a bit loud if you sit directly under the speaker like we did. And cash only, if friends hadn't had any money, I would have turned around straight away.

A total of five were there at a relatively late time. Nevertheless, we were served very nicely and the pizza was more than delicious 😋 ...we didn't expect it in this beautiful little place. So if you're in the area and want pizza, you've come to the right place!

A very friendly host! Despite the effort, we spontaneously got a table for 12 people. It was very tasty. Our children were welcome. The wine really suited our taste! We'll be back!!

What can you say: Very rustic and cozy atmosphere - almost unique for an Italian restaurant! A place where locals and tourists like to come together. Attentive, fast and friendly service. Great value for money for the food. Had a really delicious pizza with a side salad and was more than satisfied. I would be happy to recommend it.

It is a very attractive place with a very nice guy. He is very sweet and has a nice atmosphere. The food is terribly tasty. So definitely recommended if you are in Cochem.

The owner was super kind and sweet, the food was really really amazing and the vibe was also very chill. Its like a mix of old Italian and german architecture. Absolutely deserves the 5 stars!

Nice little restaurant with a little Italian flair. The service tonight was subpar. We had to wait a long time.

A nice little pizzeria hidden in the narrow streets. Very authentically decorated guest room. Beautiful gallery. great atmosphere. Were served by the boss, very accommodating, friendly person. Can really be highly recommended.

Very nice restaurant with a good selection. Dogs are allowed. The pizzas are very good value for money, although some of the pasta dishes are a bit small (e.g. cannelloni). Unfortunately, the mood in the restaurant was up and down because someone from the staff decided to keep skipping through his 2010 pop playlist.

We were there again last night. The food is always super tasty and super fresh. The tomato soup and pasta are delicious. The schnitzel was also great. The boss (?) is very attentive and friendly. We'll be back ☺️

The food is delicious and freshly prepared. The boss is very friendly and knows his craft. You should reserve seats during peak times. Lovingly furnished both inside and on the terrace. If you are in Ediger and want Italian food, then the only way is through Francesco!!!

Nice pizzeria with a wide selection, service friendly but "monosyllabic". The ambience is characterized by the rather antique tables and chairs, nice wall decorations. The food tastes good, but is not a taste explosion either. We were satisfied with the price-performance ratio.

Such a good Italian restaurant, with such good food and ambience, simply deserves 5 stars. We were here for the first time. Were vacationers in the region and can only warmly recommend this restaurant. If we vacation in the area again, we'll stop by again.

We had a delicious meal but still want to complain about the service. The waitress doesn't ask if we would like another drink, she looks sullen and grumpy. She looks and acts like she doesn't want to be here. The food was good but the service could be better. Nobody comes and asks us if we would like dessert or if we would like to drink anything at all. There is complete disinterest from the owner and staff.

We actually wanted to eat. Despite empty tables and an unfriendly note about using the toilet without being asked, we were escorted out. The request for a table for two was also denied because of the "unasked use of the toilet facilities". Whoever has it, great. The following guests, who also didn't have a reservation, didn't have a chance because of the empty tables.

Always good! The boss is a real Italian! And that's a good thing!!!

What a cozy restaurant, very customer friendly! Fast service, delicious food. And last but not least, good price-quality ratio. Definitely recommended. And even though it was full and we had not made a reservation, we still had a delicious meal. Very hospitable

Very good Italian cuisine with a lot of flair

Delicious food and you can sit beautifully inside and outside. In warm weather, indoors are more pleasant than outdoors at this restaurant. We had a minor misunderstanding which was resolved pleasantly by the owner. Positive experience.

I ate a chef salad to take away. That was an absolute disgrace. A small portion the size of a side salad with 7 small shrimps and not even a forkful of tuna. The whole thing costs €17! This was the worst salad I have ever eaten and it doesn't even deserve one star.

We had reserved a table in advance with the boss for 9 p.m. When we arrived, the table had already been taken elsewhere. Should wait again....NO! Boss very unfriendly and irritable. He didn't offer an apology. This location is therefore not recommended.

A great Italian restaurant with really tasty food. There were 4 of us and we all ordered pizza (33 cm diameter). Previously there was Bruscetta from the restaurant. Both the bruscetta and the pizza were simply delicious. It's better to call and reserve in advance. The restaurant was very busy, but in my opinion the boss and staff managed to serve the guests quickly. We also liked the outdoor ambience. I think the prices are very fair when I compare the food with, for example, quickly conjured up "tourist fare". We paid just under €87 for 4 pizzas, which will definitely fill you up, and 6 drinks. It was worth every penny. We will definitely visit “Ristorante Francesco” again on our next vacation near Cochem. Absolute recommendation 🇮🇹👍

So, hosting a group of 11 people almost at the same time deserves respect. If no one of the 11 people has anything to complain about, that speaks for the kitchen. It goes without saying that you have to reserve a table to eat. Conclusion: We would be happy to come back, thank you for your hospitality.

Very tasty pizza. Nice service, the boss himself works here. The ambience (we sat in the inner courtyard) could be made more loving. Various winemakers offer wines, but unfortunately not all of them that are on the menu are there. Tip: Reduce the wine list and then put it in stock

One of the best four cheese pizzas I've eaten in my life. The pizzas are Italian style, so they are huge in diameter and relatively thin. There is also a great rustic ambience in the 16th century style that characterizes the entire place. An excellent experience, of course a large selection of wines. Completely satisfied.

The pizza was so watery that the toppings just ran off, Wagner's pizza is 100% better and it still has the wrong toppings on it.
