Great place to have authentic Italian pizza. We order pizza today and the experience was great. Its recommended to place order upfront through call. Only cash payment.

This is what you imagine a traditional-style pizzeria to be. A family-run establishment with a true entertainer as the chef, in a small, cozy dining room. "By the way," it should be mentioned that all five of our dishes were delicious and plentiful, without exception! The brisk to-go pizza sales speak for themselves. Highly recommended! Don't forget to reserve a table!

I've eaten pizza everywhere in Waldkraiburg. This one is the best. What's more, the pizza was ready very quickly, apparently not fast enough for the man who served me, as he didn't want to accept my tip. Or maybe because I didn't use the space. Who cares? I will definitely be back.

No offense intended, but it would have been nice to mention somewhere that a small pizza is about a piccolini. Sincerely, the friendly neighborhood spider

Incredible service and food. I'm originally from Italy, but I can't get pizza and pesce misto like this, even in the south of Italy. You can tell an experienced Italian lady is behind the stove. The owner is great and up for a laugh. I'd be happy to go back anytime. I recommend this pizzeria to anyone who wants to try authentic Italian food at a reasonable price. Especially the panna cotta with caramel... I still dream about it today...

At Donato and Maria's restaurant I not only ate exceptionally and fantastically, I also found a world of friendliness and affection that made me feel at home!! The restaurant has a wide choice of dishes, first courses, second courses, pizzas, with the addition of the wonderful vegetables at the counter as an appetizer or side dish, just like in trattorias in Italy. I shared a tray of generous and excellent appetizers and a focaccia with two friends, and then ate a "fancy" pasta, invented on the spot for me! We were returning to Munich from a trip to the Czech Republic and arrived at the restaurant at 8.45pm, very hungry. When we left we were not only full in body, but also refreshed in spirit by the affection and sweetness of Donato and Maria. It's the best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten in Germany, it's not far from Munich and it's worth a trip to Waldkaiburg just to visit it. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Normally a very tasty restaurant but has gone down a lot! I've often had pasta served half raw. Nevertheless, a very friendly team with a lot of fun at work.

Super tasty! I had lasagna and my husband, a pepperoni pizza. Both were great! Service is exceptional! They are very kind and welcoming. Only complaint is that you can only pay with cash, no card accepted.

The SECRET TIP for a restaurant in Waldkraiburg! Delicious Italian pizzas and warm, humorous service a la Italia - we had to negotiate whether we were allowed to tip or not... :D I hope I can go there again soon!

Were there for the first time since the pandemic, before that everything was very good and everything was fine. However, a lot has apparently changed there since the pandemic. Dirty dishes, whether fork or beer glass. There were also canned mushrooms and tasteless tomato sauce on the pizzas. So for a price of 9€ a pizza, you would expect fresh mushrooms and at least a seasoned tetra pack of pureed tomatoes. Being fobbed off with a Ferrero kiss is a bit laughable. Plus 2 waiters on 6 tables walking around like skewered hens? I've never seen anything like that before. A pity. Otherwise I had only heard good things. But I'll never go there again.
