I got a black pizza and the waiter simply dismissed my criticism of it.

Too expensive for the portion you get. The taste is okay but not anymore. The lunch menu is recommended, as the price/performance ratio is good

We sat somewhat awkwardly right on the aisle where the waiters had to walk back and forth. The salad and pasta with chanterelles were very tasty. The food at the neighboring tables looked good.

In the middle of the idyllic Oberstdorf, very tasty food that can hardly be beaten in terms of taste.

I want to be honest - this is my very personal opinion: It was ok, but really not a highlight. At a nearby table, when the waiter asked whether they liked it, customers complained that the food was completely over salted. Unfortunately, I discovered that my pizza had also been very generously salted; I was full, but I can't describe it as an enjoyable meal. The staff: one employee (with glasses and a beard) was very friendly and accommodating, another was a bit distant and a bit "0815"-like, I would like to put it. Not a must-have, but a must-have.

I've never seen a waiter so annoyed. The menus were literally thrown on the table. There was no eye contact with any guests. The food was ok, but the rest is what spoils you.

We were there at lunchtime and had pizza. It was tasty and well topped. When we dine in an Italian restaurant we expect the famous Italian hospitality. Unfortunately no. Just quick, quick....e.g. The service asked us something and was already on the way to the next customer.

We had dinner there 5 days ago. My friend had a pizza and I had the lasagna. The lasagne was terribly bad, completely soggy and didn't taste good at all. Went back and didn't have to pay. The pizza was ok, you could eat it but it wasn't good. The service seemed very demotivated and listless. After about 3 hours the receipt for the visit appeared. We had food poisoning. That was very bad, in the truest sense of the word. Here you definitely have to rethink your hygiene concept! Something like that shouldn't happen. We as guests give you restaurateurs trust when we eat at your place and then you can't even maintain hygiene. Absolute mess, that's all I can think of.

Good pizza 🍕 Again and again...

Food ok, hardly any waiting time. Staff extremely inattentive and unfriendly (no good appetite, no more, no desire to bring another card, no thank you, no goodbye). Instead, knock a lot of sayings and stare when a woman crosses your path!

Nice staff, tasty pizzas and salads, fine lunch menu

We stayed at Alberto's twice during our vacation. The service is attentive. The food is very tasty and the salad is varied. You don't get a ready-made sauce, but, as is usual in Italy, you use vinegar and oil. The menu is extensive.

It was super tasty and totally cheap during the lunch special!!! I'll definitely come back on my next vacation in Oberstdorf ☀️

Unfortunately the food is bad, small portions for a lot of money Service mediocre, but still a nice atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the pizzas are relatively small and the price-performance ratio is not right. Everything tastes great, but the size deducts points. I can't really complain about the service itself, but in my opinion the waiters seem clearly stressed given their usual busyness and are happy to walk past you until they take care of you.

We hadn't reserved a table and were seated at the 'cat table', but it was ok. Food very good, friendly service, didn't have to wait long for the food!

Excellent food, drinks too. but the service left a lot to be desired.. We didn't receive cutlery or napkins, things we took ourselves after we received the food, and we had to wait 20 minutes for the payment note..

The food was cold and the pizza was chewy. Definitely not recommended. The reaction felt by the workforce is just the way it is. Once never again. Pure disappointment. A pity. .

Mein Sohn und ich wollten einfach nur einen Tisch für abends auf der Terrasse reservieren. Man begegnete uns sehr unfreundlich und oberlehrerhaft. Wir sollten nur kommen und würden schon einen Platz bekommen. Wir haben uns dann für ein anderes italienisches Lokal entschieden, wo wir besser und willkommener behandelt wurden.

Despite the full house, we got a table straight away. The waiters were obviously very busy, but ordering was still very quick. The pizza was also very good.

They basically saved us from “starvation” twice! Both times (2021/2022) we misjudged the timing badly while hiking in the mountains and by the time we were in Oberstdorf there was no longer any hot food. But here they prepared two delicious pizzas and tiramisu for us 5 minutes before the end of the day. We then walked back towards the apartment with our delicious booty. We will be back!

Pleasant beer garden area, pasta and pizzas are available at lunchtime for €9.90. We were well served and our food was good too. Pizza tuna/onion and spaghetti. You can dress the side salad yourself according to your own taste. Price/performance fits...👍.

The food was very tasty! We had 2 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes, all very good! The homemade chilli oil also tasted great 😊 The only drawback was the warm and humid second room, but we were able to get around.

Sehr schnelle und freundliche Bedienung. Leider war das Risotto nur mittelmäßig und die Pizza Quattro Statione wirklich eher schlecht. Ich bin früher öfters bei Alberto‘s eingekehrt. Damals war es qualitativ gut. Vielleicht hab ich diesmal einen schlechten Tag erwischt, aber es war wirklich sehr enttäuschend.

Ein Restaurant, welches vermutlich ausschließlich von Touristen besucht wird, ohne jegliche persönliche Note. Man gibt sich in Bezug auf Freundlichkeit wenig Mühe, und alles muss schnell gehen, damit der Tisch auch zügig neu besetzt werden kann. Pizza ist wirklich sehr sparsam belegt, und auch nur „im mittleren Bereich“. Pizza und Lasagne mit einfachster Tomatensoße ohne Geschmack.

A few years ago this was our go-to place. Now everything has turned into a disadvantage. Cramped tables, dogs that are not warned by the owners and disturb other guests, the quality of the food suffered just as much as the friendliness of the waitresses. Nothing more for us.

For me it's definitely the best Italian restaurant in Oberstdorf. You can sit outside very nicely. Awnings protect against sun and rain. The staff is friendly, present but not intrusive. We had pasta and pizza with it. Both were very tasty. Particularly noteworthy is the lunch special, which is valid until 4:30 p.m. Pizza and pasta dishes for €9.90 each. The portion size of the lunch specials is also sufficient. Definitely coming back.

We only come to Oberstdorf every now and then. Every time we stopped at Alberto's because it was always good. This time it was a failure. When our food came, my wife was served the wrong dish. Instead of correcting the error, the orders of other guests were taken, who then of course received their food before my wife. I was almost finished with my meal when my wife's dish arrived. Nothing complicated, Spaghetti Aglio Olio, made in 5 minutes, but took 20 minutes. Things used to be better when it was a stylish Italian restaurant. The food was okay, but no longer comes close to the quality of previous years.

Terrible food, watered down pizza, not baked, watered down, the bathroom is a mess, not cleaned at all, rude service, the only positive thing is the beer 🍺

Pizza tasted good. The surface was clear. Asking whether there was garlic on the pizza cost me an extra 2 euros. So a pizza with 2 toppings cost me 17 euros.

Wow, one of the best pizzas ever. Topping of good standard, tastes great, but the floor is awesome. I ordered spicy and got spicy - really spicy. Each pizza at lunchtime is 8.90 euros, perfect, good, recommended!

War einen Versuch wert - aber wirklich auch nur das. Trotz eins überschaubarem Gästeaufkommen waren das Servicepersonal und die Küche völlig überfordert. Als wir ankamen, durften wir nicht in die Gaststätte, wegen unsers Hundes. Soweit okay. Also setzten wir uns auf die Terrasse, die kaum belegt war. Die Getränke kamen sehr schnell, aber auf das Essen ( Pizza und Spaghetti mit jeweils Beilagen-Salat) warteten wir letztendlich über eine Stunde. Zwischenfragen, wann wir mit dem Essen wohl rechnen können, blieben unbeantwortet, bzw. es wurde auf den großen Andrang (???) verwiesen. Also saßen wir eine Stunde bei strömenden Regen und 8 Grad Außentemperatur im Außenbereich. Zumindest die Bedachung war einigermaßen dicht. Das Essen kam dann endlich, aber von einem kulinarischen Genuss weit entfernt. Maximal durchschnittlich. Der Versuch einer Entschuldigung mit einem Obstbrand war dann zwar gut gemeint, aber auch nur noch eine Geste. Aber am ärgerlichsten war dann schlussendlich, das wir nicht einfach aufgestanden und gegangen sind. Aber dies ist vielleicht ein typisch deutsches Verhalten :-)

First of all: the food was great! Very spontaneously got a place. However, it was generally quite loud and hectic during our visit, so a deduction for the ambience.

Not recommendable! Pizza rather tasteless and very small. No children's pizza. Service suboptimal, food and drinks were picked up or delivered incorrectly several times, not really attentive. Feedback was also given directly in the restaurant, but seemed to be of only limited interest

Alberto is simply recommended. Despite the store being busy, we were assigned a nice table even without a reservation. The service, food and drinks were great! Very attentive waiter without being intrusive. Price-performance ratio is totally OK here. The ambience is more Bavarian than Italian, but at least we heard nice Italian songs throughout the evening. That's how it should be!😊👍

We were there for lunch. Every pizza, every pasta dish €9.90. The food was good. The ambience and the service are not at all. It was really cool yesterday and it rained - but we were there with our dog. We were only allowed to sit in the outdoor seating area. The waiter was just doing his job - friendliness looks different. There's no water for the dog! Sad. We won't go here again.

An Italian in a holiday area with ordinary food, nothing special in terms of taste if you just want to be full.

We ordered food to take away. Pick up time was good But what we packed in the holiday apartment????? It was a disgrace There wasn't a piece of meat in the pasta with turkey. The pizza was thinly topped or not at all and the base was partly burnt. But the price is high. Never again!!!! We were rushed to the restaurant.

The pizza from lunch tasted good, but there was a little bit of toppings. When a large group arrived, the tables were put together. We were horrified by the pile of dirt that appeared on the floor. Unfortunately, the staff walked past without sweeping away the dirt that was visible to everyone. At least while we were there. Not nice .

Price and performance are top notch here. There were three of us for lunch and we ate from the lunch menu. All dishes from there were available for under 10 euros. We had pizza once and pasta twice. We had a very short wait and received great food. Everything was very tasty and prepared to perfection. Cutlery, glasses, plates and ambience were all very clean and tidy. Beautiful house inside and out. Service very attentive. Really top value for money, we would love to come back when we are in Obersdorf. Keep it up.

Exceptionally good restaurant. We had a large fish soup and spaghetti con cozze. We last ate this so well in Ischia. We are always happy when there are restaurants that offer authentic cuisine. So if you don't just want to eat good pizza at an Italian restaurant, you should definitely try the other dishes on the menu, it's worth it. The price/performance ratio is okay.
