We had a stone-baked pizza. All fresh ingredients. No jarred vegetables. The staff was super friendly. We didn't have to wait long. The restrooms were clean. Nothing to complain about.

One of the best pizzas my wife and I have ever eaten. Furthermore, we received very friendly service from Ahmad and his colleagues. We can only warmly recommend this pizzeria and will definitely visit it again on our next vacation.

We went to Alberto's again, and I have to say that of all our restaurant visits in Oberstdorf, Alberto's was our favorite. Super friendly service. Nice atmosphere, and truly delicious food. Very friendly service. The seating is comfortable. Even in the rain, you can sit outside. I had the vegetarian pizza. It was really delicious. I'd definitely go back.

The Princess salad was unfortunately not good. A lot of green salad, four slices of tomato and cucumber, and a few carrot shavings. The feta was a shepherd's lettuce, and the olives unfortunately tasted of nothing. For €15... what a pity.

We're always happy to come back. Very good value for money. Lunch for €9.90. Excellent food. Very attentive service. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, who are always cheerful and funny, despite the heat. Thank you very much, and we'll be back—as we have been for many years.

A few years ago, this was our go-to place. Since then, everything has deteriorated. Tables are far too close together, dogs aren't reprimanded by their owners and are disturbing other guests, and the quality of the food has suffered, as has the friendliness of the service. It's no longer for us. There are nicer options here in Oberstdorf.

We've been to Alberto's several times in the last few weeks, and the "Spaghetti Frutti di Mare" was simply unbeatable! We only have one problem: We'd love to come to you as a family – but our daughters have to follow a gluten-free diet, and it would be great if you could offer gluten-free pasta in the future (for an additional charge, of course). A typical Italian restaurant in the center of Oberstdorf. They serve a reasonably priced lunch menu from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (August 2025). Otherwise, the prices are reasonable for the location. Our pasta was good and the portions were generous. The service was friendly, and we didn't have to wait long for either the food or the bill.

Ordered pizza for lunch. For €9.90 per pizza, you really can't go wrong here. The pizzas were really good for the price. We would definitely come back for the lunch special.

So we went yesterday for the first and also the last time. I'll start with our waiter. Our waiter came and greeted us politely but when he wanted to order our food he asked what would you like to drink. In those 5 minutes he forgot that we had ordered something to drink. That's not a problem but it happened again later and we were often overlooked. The food that one of us ordered (there were 3 of us) was spaghetti aliolio with olive oil but there was far too much olive oil and the person didn't eat any more. Another person from us had a pizza with: mushrooms, salami, ham. The pizza was tasty but the person went to the bathroom later on and it wasn't funny and we hadn't eaten anything else that day. I had the spaghetti Bolognese, it was tasty but in the evening I often had to let off steam and earlier it wasn't funny in the bathroom either, so I can't recommend it to anyone. There are better restaurants in Oberstdorf and better Italians, we will definitely not come back!!!

A twenty-year-old apprentice with little culinary experience. I went to this restaurant with my friend three days in a row, and we ordered pizza every day, so we can only report on that. We both have to honestly say that the pizza was at least a 9/10 for us in terms of taste. The price is definitely not something to complain about, especially as an apprentice with a relatively low income for Oberstdorf residents or tourists. The servers were all friendly and courteous, and we only had to wait a very short time. All in all, we are extremely satisfied! Best regards from Brandenburg.

During our visit, the restaurant was very busy and the wait staff was very busy. Nevertheless, they were friendly. The food was okay, but I've actually had better Italian food. The mixed appetizer selection is solid. In general, though, I can recommend the restaurant.

For a tourist town like Oberstdorf, you can get a really good and inexpensive lunch here.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed. We had read on the website about the long fermentation process for the pizza dough and had seen pizzas in passing. When we ordered this afternoon, the pizza was unfortunately far from a good, airy Neapolitan pizza. The heat was far too low (the dough was much too light, the cheese lacked color...), the crust was not airy, but rather compact (was it the dough or incorrectly prepared?!), and they apparently used regular mozzarella instead of fior di latte, so "water" was floating on top of the pizza and the dough was soggy. Also, only one pizza actually uses mozzarella, while the rest uses regular cheese. The spaghetti carbonara was quite okay. According to the website, the pasta is "homemade." Apparently, the pasta dough isn't: When you go to the restroom, there's a large (open) shelf with regular store-bought pasta (including tortelloni). Conclusion: The average Oberstdorf tourist will love it! If you're trying to make your own pizza and pasta, you're unlikely to be satisfied.

We visited today for the second time during our vacation – and both times we were more than thrilled! Despite being very busy, getting a table was no problem. The waiters greeted all guests very warmly and quickly freed up a table. The sun protection on the terrace is fantastic. About two-thirds of the tables are protected by a clever awning system, and the remaining third gets shade, at least in the evenings, from the restaurant. This is a beautiful older building that really makes a statement. The service is top-notch! The waiters are all very friendly and quick, so you never have to wait long. Food and drinks arrive very quickly after ordering, but are of outstanding quality! The pizza was top-notch and perfectly "ripe," the pasta was a dream, as were the desserts we had (tiramisu and tartufo ice cream). Despite only being on vacation for a week, we will definitely return here a third time, because everything here completely won us over!

In particular, the waiter, Dino, was always very friendly, even when the pressure was high! Thank you for the lovely evenings.

I have to deduct two stars for the food – we ordered medium/rare and got it cooked well – a no-go. I deduct two stars for the service because the waitresses weren't interested. If you're going to ask the guests, it's stupid not to respond to criticism. And I can only give the ambiance three stars. It was okay, but nothing more.

Unfortunately, the waitress didn't ask how you wanted your steak, and it was served well-done, so it didn't taste good. You can't go wrong with French fries. The steak wasn't worth a picture. For the price, I don't recommend it. However, the pizza served across from me was okay and very tasty.

My pizza was really good. We received friendly service, and it was pretty quick. The only downside was the amount of mosquitoes, but that's not the pizzeria's fault. I'll definitely go again.

We originally wanted to go to another pizzeria. Since it was completely full and very loud, we decided to go to Pizzeria Alberto and we weren't disappointed. The ambience is very nice and pleasant, it wasn't too loud, just right. The service was extremely good. After a few moments we received our drinks and the food we ordered. The pizzas were really fantastic and nice and big. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Is this an insider tip? We initially wanted to go somewhere else, but it was completely crowded, loud, and stuffy. It was meant to be, because we weren't disappointed at Alberto's Pizzeria Restaurant. :) Very delicious food. We had a pizza and a mixed salad with tuna, olives, and feta. The salad was really large and, above all, fresh! It was served with delicious ciabatta. The pizza was very tasty, not greasy, and had a thin crust. We would definitely come back if we were in the area again.

Sumptuous, authentic and a very diverse number of choices of pizzas are available on the menu. The service is fast, genuine and very friendly.

Waiter (we presume is the manager) was unkind which, honestly, made the experience not very pleasant. I understand that sometimes a person has not his best day, but customer facing jobs requires more professioanalism and a minimum smile.

Everything is great - and even pizza and pasta are cheaper until late in the afternoon

Food was very tasty. But “the boss” wanted €9.90 for some pasta with butter for our toddler. So the same price as a large pizza would have cost at lunch. So the waiter at least talked himself out of it that the boss had decided that way. There was no children's menu and a good service person would probably have said BEFORE that you have to pay the same for less than 80g of pasta as you would for a main meal. You feel completely ripped off.

Lasagna which I would compare most to the one from the supermarket. Average taste and no meat in it. the staff doesn't speak any languages.

My visit to "at Alberto's" was entirely positive. The “Italiano Antipasti” as a starter were fresh and tasty, a good introduction to the following menu. The “Tortellini Rustico” as the main course impressed with its authentic taste and perfect preparation. The pasta was just right and the filling was tasty. The tiramisu for dessert was a pleasant end to the meal, light and not too sweet. The accompanying **white wine** went perfectly with the food and the **mild grappa** at the end rounded off the meal. The service was courteous and attentive, which made the stay very pleasant. Overall, "at Alberto's" offered a very good dining experience, which I am happy to rate here with 5 stars.

Unfortunately it was nothing. Pizza base soft like a sponge, pasta with seafood (pasta was the best) seafood like rubber, very expensive, a shame to expect something like that from the customer. And the staff should work a lot on being friendly.

We have eaten at the pizzeria “bei Alberto” once again and this time, in addition to the very good food, we particularly noticed the service and friendliness of Eon. Thank you for the lovely late afternoon.

We were there yesterday... Once for lunch, the baked penne was dry with almost no sauce. Once I ordered spaghetti with mussels in Tomsten sauce, what came was lukewarm, overcooked spaghetti in garlic oil. It doesn't work at all!!! Gnocci's Sorrentino was fine. We don't have to go there again.

Anyone visiting Obersdorf should take the time to visit this restaurant. The restaurant is cozy, the staff is friendly and the food is very wholesome. We can recommend this restaurant.

The pizza was actually good. The dough is nice and thin. But... there was far too much surface on it so that it was muddy in the middle. Also a bit overpriced. Stop in the middle of Oberstdorf. In any case not necessarily recommended but ok

Absolute joke even though there were several service people walking around there, collecting money next door, setting tables and the shop was only moderately busy. Service completely inattentive, no greeting whatsoever, no attempt to make eye contact, etc. Even after 15 minutes. no card was handed out. Got up and then had a very good meal at Wilde Männle. Immediately after choosing a seat, the card was handed out and the shop was full. So it works! This pizza place won't see me again.
