Ristorante Peperoncino in Leverkusen

Really good food in a nice atmosphere. What I didn't like at all on my last visit was the topic of tipping. When paying by card, you are given the card reader in your hand and can choose a tip directly there. The screen is divided into four large buttons (10%, 15%, 20% and 25%). Very small and hard to hit with your finger, there is a message at the bottom of the screen that says “no tip” and “enter your own value”. There's really nothing wrong with tipping, which can be 10-20% if the service is good, but this way is a real no-go for me.

Everything is perfect here, the food is delicious and the service is very attentive and friendly. We will certainly come back.

The Ristorante Peperoncino is located in Leverkusen Hitdorf. Despite the location on the Rhine, there are enough parking spaces here. The food was very good, the service was nice.

We've been to this ristorante twice for the Christmas party and I've always been very satisfied, whether it's pasta or pizza and dessert, the restaurant stands out from other ristorantes and has a really good selection.

It's a shame, we had dinner with several people last night, unfortunately the food for two of them wasn't good. The soup was totally watery and the salad consisted entirely of arugula. The fillet tips were so cross-fried that you could no longer recognize the meat. The prices were very high. We've eaten here several times, but it was really unpleasant. We won't come anymore.

We became aware of the restaurant through the region's gourmet block. And this first visit will definitely not be the last. The restaurant impresses with many aspects. It doesn't matter whether you want to rate the outstanding service (remarkably attentive, friendly and fast), the chic, modern atmosphere or the extremely good cuisine: all you can say about everything is --> Bravo, that's how it should be! I was happy about an excellent spaghetti carbonara and the really nice thing about it was that it was a real classic Italian carbonara and not this Germanized version with cream and bacon. Thanks again to Toni, who not only cooks well but also took the time to talk about the good Italian cuisine. We will come here more often. Thanks !

I've been here several times and have never been disappointed. The food is great, the service is friendly without being intrusive and the location right on the Rhine is unbeatable. Live piano music is currently being played, which makes the upper floor a little louder but also nicer. Special requests, such as vegan alternatives, are also fulfilled reliably and very flexibly. I always enjoy coming here and am already looking forward to the next visit :)
