My colleagues and I are huge fans of Peperoncino! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff is always extremely friendly and attentive. We always love coming back!

An Italian restaurant with an upscale atmosphere, a great view of the Rhine, and a cozy wood-burning stove on the first floor in winter. The service was warm and child-friendly. We'll be back!

Visited at lunchtime! Fast service, perfectly chilled wheat beer! Small dip: bread 🍞 and a creamy dip from the kitchen. Fantastic Stella Rosso pizza 🍕, the Capriciossa with artichokes, hot and delicious! The open Primitivo was worth every penny! Offered espresso - perfect 💯✨ The upstairs dining room is also very chic, with a piano 🎹, fireplace, and a view of the Rhine! See you soon!

We were lucky enough to win a voucher for a meal at Peperoncini at the 'Leben in Hitdorf' Christmas market. We redeemed it this evening and had a wonderful meal. The appetizer à la Toni was phenomenal as always, the main courses of lamb and pasta Bolognese were very tasty, and the pistachio tiramisu dessert was also delicious. We'll gladly come again, thank you so much!

Peperoncino is a real hidden gem in Leverkusen! We come from Frankfurt and only became aware of the restaurant through the many positive reviews – and it was absolutely worth it. The freshly prepared pasta and pizza dishes taste fantastic, and you can tell that they cook with a lot of love. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is attentive and friendly. A modern, welcoming restaurant that we'd happily recommend.

Delicious pizza and a beautiful view of the Rhine.

Good Italian food, a bit pricey, but good. Very good pizzas. The Pizza Frutti di Mare was quite large, but unfortunately rather dry around the edges; perhaps a little oil or an oil sachet would be a good idea. The chef and owner, as well as the staff, are very friendly and attentive. Overall very good, would gladly return. I recommend the tomato soup as a starter!

First of all, the staff is very friendly when you order! The appetizer was good, but unfortunately, the main course was not up to par. It was far too acidic. I've never eaten such a bad Bolognese in a restaurant. Oh well, maybe I was just unlucky. But when my full plate was returned and I told the server that it hadn't tasted good, all I got was a dismissive, "Oh, okay." At that point, the friendliness was gone. Of course, I was charged for the Bolognese. The other dishes at our table were good. Therefore, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

We've eaten here several times and love the pizza (best in Leverkusen). We also recently held our wedding reception for 50 people here on the upper floor, and it was an excellent celebration. The management is professional, the service is perfect, and the kitchen conjured up a variety of delicacies. So, this is the perfect all-in-one package for your celebration, with a homey feel and a view of the Rhine. 10/10!

Overall, our visit was okay, as I eat out quite often and my expectations are correspondingly high. For me, the food was good, but nothing special. However, this review is only based on my initial impression and the meal I had that day. If I were to go there again, I would definitely try different dishes. I found the price a bit too high for what I was getting.

Great restaurant, ordered through Lieferando. They prepared the food, but thanks to Lieferando, there was no driver. There were problems with the delivery. The restaurant took care of the issue with the Lieferando order; I just had to pick it up myself. The ambiance was excellent, the staff friendly, and they apologized even though the mistake wasn't theirs. I enjoyed the top-notch food at home. Next time, I'll order directly from the restaurant and pick it up, or eat in.

The pizza was good, the burrata okay. I found the restaurant's interior appealing, but the service was a bit unenthusiastic that day.

When paying by card, we were reminded about the tip… The waiter stayed right next to us the whole time to see what we clicked… The options were 10, 15, 20 percent… It was our first time there. The food and service were good. But this whole thing at the checkout is unacceptable.

The location is quite nice, and the seating is comfortable. Unfortunately, it was dark, so we couldn't see the Rhine. It must be lovely during the day. The service was good, unobtrusive, and everything was quite quick. The food was definitely okay, but nothing special. It's certainly worth a visit. Would I wholeheartedly recommend it? Perhaps not, but I wouldn't advise against it either.

Beautiful ambience right on the Rhine.

The timing could have been better, but everything else was great!

We went there for the first time to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and didn't regret it. We got a table downstairs, right by the window, and had a perfect view of the Rhine. It couldn't be better, and we were very happy about it. The food was wonderful, even if the way the risotto was presented was a bit of a quibble. Everything tasted very good, though. The tiramisu, in particular, was fantastic! Even though the room was getting more crowded later on, we were able to have a conversation without any problems and didn't have to shout. The waiters were super friendly and attentive. We didn't lack for anything, and we will definitely be back again. Thank you for the lovely evening!

This evening we dined at this restaurant and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere is refined, welcoming, and familiar. The upstairs dining room has a beautiful view of the Rhine, and in the evening, accompanied by the sounds of the piano, it becomes magical and very evocative. Everyone here is very attentive to service and to their customers. The pumpkin cream soup with shrimp was delicious, as was the roast beef in a spicy sauce with roast vegetables. Nasty pricing with a great ambiance, satisfactory service, and mediocre food. Be careful with the tips! The ambiance is great, the view of the Rhine is great, and the service is generally good. The BUT lies in two things. First, I find it deliberately misleading that every price is marked with a 90, which is as small as a "high number." So, each dish is one euro more expensive than it first appears. But it gets cheeky when it comes to tips. As a customer, you have the choice of tipping between 10, 15, and 20 percent when paying with an EC card. Considering that 5% - 10% is the standard, I personally find it incredibly cheeky to even put 15% and 20% on the machine, suggesting to the customer that you're not being generous by giving 10%, which I'm happy to do if I'm completely satisfied. The new terminals conceal the fact that you can, of course, choose your own amount, but the huge tip buttons immediately catch your eye. I find this an unnecessary gimmick with the customer's perception, something a good restaurant with solid quality and a good reputation shouldn't need. The ambiance is only great if you manage to snag a window seat, which seems to be reserved for regular customers on weekends. I hope, dear team, you change your pricing tricks and return to a normal and respectable relationship between customers and the restaurant.

A very pleasant and friendly visit. The "compulsion" to tip when paying by card (you can also choose not to) undermines, in my opinion, the spirit and purpose of the principle of rewarding excellence with tips.

We went there for dinner yesterday. The ambiance on the first floor is bright and pleasant, with a view of the Rhine depending on where you sit. The server was friendly, and we didn't have to wait long. Unfortunately, the food wasn't what we expected, given the many excellent reviews. The appetizers were good or very good, but the main courses, two pasta dishes, were both completely overseasoned. This was very disappointing and spoiled the overall impression.

We celebrated our daughter's first day of school today and were very pleased. The food was fantastic; we all enjoyed it immensely. The service was very attentive and friendly, and our requests were well-received. The highlight was that the children who were starting school received a small school cone filled with sweets. I highly recommend this restaurant. As always on Wednesdays, they had prawns all you can eat. Toni makes such delicious prawns that it's a pleasure to peel them. The service is also super attentive and friendly. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Great atmosphere with a view of the Rhine on the upper floor, and a lovely terrace in the summer. The pizza was huge and delicious. Excellent value for money. We were there for Pizza Thursday. However, the service forgot our drink order twice, but they were charmingly apologetic. We'd be happy to come back.

We celebrated our wedding at Peperoncino after the civil ceremony, and it was simply perfect! The team lovingly executed our decorations, and all our guests were thrilled with the delicious buffet. The upstairs room offers a stunning view, and with the beautiful weather, we were also able to enjoy the cozy little terrace – a wonderful atmosphere! We especially appreciated the warm welcome our external musician received. The entire Peperoncino team contributed to an unforgettable evening. We highly recommend the restaurant for special occasions and are already looking forward to our next visit as regular guests. Thank you so much for everything!

The ambiance outside was great in the sunshine. Food - no idea where the good reviews come from. I can't confirm that. Service: Depends heavily on the server. Tipping: 10, 15, or 20% is the default for card payments. Not my thing.

The pizza has a fantastic base and is otherwise very tasty. For appetizers, there's cornbread with garlic dip, also very tasty! The house wine is also great, fruity, and light. The selection is large, but not too large. And it's a departure from the pizzerias you're used to. The only downside: the place is sparsely decorated and feels a bit sterile, and it's very loud, as there are almost no sound-absorbing materials. But the chairs are super comfortable! We'd love to come back!

It was my first time there, and it won't be my last. :) The food was delicious (spaghetti frutti di mare), although a bit too squid-heavy for me. The service was very friendly and quick. I also liked the ambiance, but in warm weather, I recommend choosing an outdoor table when booking. We sat inside, and it was too hot and oppressive. Even with the doors open, the air was very stuffy. Perhaps a ceiling fan would help. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my stay.
