The best Italian restaurant in the area. Super friendly and attentive staff. The food and quality are outstanding. It's very good value for money. I would recommend it to everyone and will definitely visit again.

To be honest, I haven't had such good spaghetti Bolognese and pizza Margherita in a while. I also had a small salad, which was just as impressive. The portions were really generous for the price and were quite filling. Ordering and picking up were very straightforward, and the service was authentically Italian and friendly. Definitely an insider tip in Ettlingen.

The Padellino in Ettlingen is actually a lovely restaurant, but our visit was unfortunately disappointing. On a Sunday evening during the holiday season, we were turned away shortly before 9 p.m. – even though the restaurant is officially open until 9 p.m. A pizza wasn't available, even though we arrived in good time. For an Italian restaurant that prides itself on hospitality and joie de vivre, this isn't particularly inviting. What's particularly striking is that the restaurants in Ettlingen generally close extremely early. Even on warm summer evenings, the town seems deserted after 9 p.m. It almost feels like a lifeless retirement town – even though Ettlingen is actually beautiful and has plenty of potential for a lively nightlife. It's unfortunately no wonder that the gastronomic scene here continues to decline. When guests are regularly turned away and have few opportunities to relax and unwind, the town loses its appeal – not only for tourists, but also for locals. A little more openness, flexibility, and genuine service are urgently needed.

Long-established pizzeria with a very good, authentic Italian menu. Very friendly staff. Large, shady terrace area. Reservations are recommended, as it's always busy. Parking is difficult.

This is where they understand gastronomy! Family-run restaurant with delicious Italian dishes prepared with love. Very attentive service staff who always take care of their guests in a friendly and helpful manner. Simply a perfect culinary experience!

Only the best can be said about the Padellino restaurant. The food is simply world-class and of very high quality, and you can taste it. All dishes are always freshly prepared and refined with love. Special requests are also accommodated. The service and all the waiters are always friendly and ask if everything is great and if you are satisfied. I've experienced this differently in other restaurants, so it's worth mentioning here. We really enjoy eating at Padellino because every dish here is truly delicious. I would like to express my special thanks for the organization of our wedding meal. Everything ran smoothly here as well. The food was delivered, picked up, and there were even appetizers at the church. We received numerous compliments, and there was something for everyone, and everyone enjoyed it. So, thank you again, Giacomo and the Padellino team!

The ambiance is cozy, the service is warm, and you feel completely at home. My conclusion: If you love good food and are looking for something special, this is the place for you. The Padellino is our absolute regular when it comes to Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is very well-kept, friendly, and homey. The menu ranges from pizza and pasta to meat and fish dishes, with specials that even change depending on the season. Of course, there's also a good selection of wines and desserts. We are always well looked after on every visit, and the food tastes excellent and authentic. Since the Padellino is known for its excellent cuisine, we recommend making a reservation. Ristorante Padellino. The Padellino is located in the heart of Ettlingen's town center. The food is delicious and good. The pasta and pizza are excellent. Once again in transit, this time we decided to have a nice dinner at “Padellino”. The decision was spot on! Luckily we had a reservation, then the restaurant was full (Thursday 7:30 p.m.) ... so it's worth making a reservation here, it would be a shame if you had to leave again because of "lack of space"! The staff were very attentive and friendly, the selected dishes were served quickly despite the restaurant being full. Everything was very appetizingly prepared and the taste and quality were perfect! We enjoyed it very much and we only have praise for the service! Conclusion: Absolutely recommended, we would love to come back!

We had a wonderful evening in Ristorante Padellino! The food was simply excellent - authentic, fresh and prepared with a lot of love. We were particularly impressed by the attentive service: despite the full restaurant, we were served quickly and friendly. The food came to the table quickly without the quality suffering. A real highlight was the nice conversation with the boss and his family, who run their restaurant with a lot of passion. You really feel welcome here as a guest! Good Italian, attentive service, pizza and pasta recommended. We didn't try any other dishes. Limited but good wine selection, pleasant atmosphere. We'd love to come back. It's particularly pleasant that the tables in the various guest rooms are not so close together and you have a lot of space and privacy.

Ich hatte am Mittag angerufen um eine Reservierung zu machen, 1 Person mit nettem Hund. Der Hund sei überhaupt kein Problem sagt man mir auf Anfrage. Als ich am Abend ankam brachte man mich zu meinem Tisch: an bester Lage und nicht wie manchmal bei Tischen für 1 Person üblich irgendwo, am besten neben der Küche oder der Toilette. Obwohl das Restaurant sehr gut besucht war und neben den Bestellungen der Gäste noch viele Take out Bestellungen raus gingen, wurde das Essen überraschend schnell serviert. Alles, vom Jogurtdressing am Salat über die Pizza bis zum Tartufo al Limoncello, hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Ich habe einen netten Abend im Padellino verbracht, würde jederzeit wieder dort essen gehen und empfehle es uneingeschränkt weiter.

Can only recommend it, always friendly, very nice staff, requests were always implemented, we were always very satisfied with the food. A table was always found for us so that our Bernese girl also had enough space.

Im Sommer sehr voll, viel Hektik, laut, viele Mücken, Fisch essen kaum machbar, Pizza klein, sehr geworden, viel Teig, wenig Auflage, meist aussen verbrannt, schade, sollte da besser aufpassen, schönes, neues Terrassendach zum auf-abrollen, nur, wenn es sehr warm iist, bekommt man Schweißausbrueche, Personal sehr nett, vor allem junger Kellner, weenn voll ist, merkt man den Streß, welchen das Personal hat

Frankly, I have a hard time understanding why this place is so popular... Although the quality of the food is not bad, there is nothing to exaggerate about its standard, both in terms of plating and taste. I have eaten better food at places with much more pleasant ambience. The service is definitely rude, far from polite and friendly… The atmosphere of the dining room is cold, I prefer the open garden hall. It's a preferred place where we usually go with friends, but if it were up to me, I wouldn't choose it, sorry.
