Simply great! Excellent food, super friendly service and a great atmosphere. Absolutely recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The restaurant is in a great location, in the middle of Vaihingen, next to the town hall. Wanted something to eat after shopping. Unfortunately, none of us took into account that the restaurant could be full on a Friday evening. We didn't make a reservation because we spontaneously wanted something to eat. There was no table left, but the waiter had an eye on everything. He knew who would pay soon. We were asked to order a drink at the bar, and 15 minutes later a table was ready for us. Top organization and overview. We would probably have been sent away anywhere else. The food was unbeatable value for money. I often find the pasta portions too small, but at Marcellino they are decent plates. All in all, we left satisfied.

Was at Marcellino yesterday and it was delicious. Plus super nice service and a really cozy atmosphere. If you love good Italian food, you definitely have to stop by!

The food was outstanding. You can taste that they cook with fresh ingredients. There is something for everyone on the menu. The service is very courteous and friendly. Nice and family atmosphere. Would be happy to come back at any time and can recommend it with a clear conscience!

Super authentic Italian. After a short time you really feel like a member of the Italian host family. Very friendly service. The bruschetta and our two pasta dishes were very tasty and inexpensive. However, I would leave out the strawberry sauce on the pistachio tartufo because the tartufo is absolutely delicious and I found the strawberry sauce very annoying. But that is a matter of taste. We can highly recommend the restaurant to anyone who loves delicious Italian food and the Italian way of life!

A piece of Italy on site! I have rarely visited an Italian restaurant as authentic as this one! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff incredibly friendly and attentive. The homemade pizza in particular was an absolute highlight – fresh, tasty and perfectly prepared. The wine list also offers a great selection of Italian wines. You can tell how much love and passion is put into every detail here. Absolutely recommended!

Good pizza, but the quality has declined over the years. Just having a stone oven isn't everything ;-). Hadn't ordered here for a while because the service was so-so. It was confirmed again today. The delivery person puts the pizza in my hand in a bad mood and says: Next time please order earlier and not at the last second. I ordered at 9:35 p.m., the restaurant closes at 10:00 p.m. Next time you don't feel like it, just decline your order?!

Unfortunately it was better. The food was tasteless, the ambience was now a bit run down and after slight criticism of the food we were ignored. I hope it gets better again.

Very tasty pasta and fish dishes. Very nice advice regarding the always good red wine. The starters are also very tasty (bruschetta)! We come back regularly. It's especially nice if you can sit outside, because the rather dark ambience inside is a matter of taste.

I am a regular guest at Ristorante Marcellino, be it with family, friends or work colleagues and it is always a pleasure. The ambience inside is stylish and cozy, but it's especially nice to sit outside in summer. The pasta dishes are absolutely excellent for my taste, although the pizza will of course also find its fans. I particularly recommend the grilled tuna, which is cooked to perfection. An all-round great restaurant that I can recommend.

I ordered something for home. The taste was okay, but after I almost ate a small sticker, I unfortunately lost my appetite. I hope that the vegetables there are washed thoroughly before cooking with them.

We were there with a group and all the dishes were extremely tasty. Great risotto as well as dish with saffron sauce. The starter was also very good. Everyone was excited. Only the sanitary area needs to be improved, hence only 3 stars

It was really tasty food. We had pizza, and pasta and it was all tasty for a good price. We thought the service was really below par. It seemed that the staff was frustrated. In addition, I didn't always find the way people talked to you hospitable. 3 ordered drinks are placed on the corner of the table, just like the plates with food and you grab it yourself. I don't think that's a good service. Then when paying it seemed as if they did not want card payment, it had to be cash and then the way in which. It was just not threatening. Nice restaurant with Italian flair... The pizza comes from the stone oven... The mussels are great even if they are quite salty. The Spaghetti Marina is highly recommended, according to my wife. The Saltimboca is definitely not enough for the price, especially the side dish is not for the hungry.

Average food at best, the mushrooms on the pizza were simply thrown in a heap in the middle, for example... The boss was quite hectic, orders were forgotten, etc. There are certainly much better Italian restaurants in the Stuttgart area.

The service was very unfriendly. Ignored us multiple times when we wanted to pay, even tho they weren't that busy.

Service was good and quick (as was the food: perhaps a little too quick for so much homemade food), although the guy also spoke a little too much Italian. But that's not meant in a negative way. Food was good, not really great, but price/performance was OK.

The food and service are great, and the ambience still has room for improvement. The price-performance ratio is also more than gigantic for the quality!

Well, I went to dinner today. I was greeted at the entrance by a waiter who unfortunately only spoke Italian. Too bad. I quickly dug out my knowledge of Italian and then it worked. Thanks to my knowledge, the order was problem-free. The small mixed salad was okay, as was the dressing. Only the pizza, it was anything but crispy. When you lifted it, the ground had almost no color and was still far too soft. The pizza could have easily used another 2 minutes. Toppings and taste were ok. The service was also good if you knew Italian. An Asian couple at the next table also had a big problem. But it was done with “hands and feet”. But that's not good for the ristorante. Therefore only a “merciful” 3 stars at the moment. I will come back at some point, maybe it was the day and time. 1st Update: We were there for lunch with 6 people. At lunchtime you automatically get a salad with it. I ordered a salad with shrimp and fresh mushrooms and extra bread. Here's the answer right away, bread is included. My friends had pasta dishes. Well the salads came and I also got a salad with my salad, but no bread. There were just 4 pieces of bread in the basket. Just shaking my head. 2nd update: Today (Saturday) I was there again for lunch, spaghetti marinara. The spaghetti may be homemade, but then with the thick spaetzle press. Much to you. Too soft on the outside, almost raw on the inside. Dear Ganni, I don't think it will work. For “My Local – Your Local” that would be a very generous 6 points. I therefore stick with my very gracious 3 stars. There is still a lot of room for improvement.

During my visit to Marcellino, I sampled three dishes: mussels with tomato sauce, homemade pasta, and a sausage pizza. The mussels with tomato sauce were superb. The sauce had a rich, flavorful profile that complemented the fresh mussels perfectly. This dish was definitely a highlight of the meal. The homemade pasta was evident in its texture and quality. However, it lacked seasoning, particularly salt, which made it taste a bit bland. With a bit more attention to seasoning, this dish could be exceptional. The pizza was good overall, with a well-cooked crust and a tasty tomato base. However, the salsiccia (sausage) slices were not aesthetically pleasing, which detracted from the visual appeal of the pizza. Overall, I would rate my experience at Marcellino a 4 out of 5. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the flavors were generally good, though there were minor areas for improvement.

The price is ESSGER. A piece of plain spaghetti for my daughter (as a second course) because the little girl can't eat anything else without anything I paid €11.80 and it's shameful

I did not get a good food here so i dont think i would go back.

Unfortunately I didn't like it at all. My review refers to lunchtime. Maybe it's different in the evening. 1. There was no minestrone, even though it was on the menu 2. bruschetta was served cold 3. the drinks only came when asked, after the meal. 4. I didn't have the pizza myself, but it didn't look good to my colleagues. The floor didn't seem to be through.

I had pizza with extra cheese and champignon, it was very delicious and satisfactory and the service was ok, atmosphere was very good and private for our grup of 8 person :)

Visited again after three years, unfortunately not like it used to be. The Prosecco is also only recommended to a limited extent, although that is always a matter of taste, but the price/quality is not right here. Unfortunately, the cutlery/dishes weren't really clean either.

Very nice Italian place in the town. The staff are very friendly and the service is quite good and prompt. We ordered the seafood risotto which was quite good, and the spaghetti carbonara, which was only average. For drinks we had the Hugo and Aperol spritz, both of which were quite good. The ambience is nice and prices are also quite reasonable. Will definitely go back!

We came to lunch, my son (9 years old) and I. At the door I asked if there was a place for the two of us. The Lord: for her yes, for him no. He looks at my son and says, ha, how stupid he looks. That was extremely rude because my son didn't understand the joke and was then insulted by a complete stranger (the gentleman who works there). If my son hadn't insisted on the pizza, I would have gone back. There was hardly any dressing on the side salad and the pizza was completely bland. When we swept the next table, the crumbs flew onto our table. The cutlery was not polished but ended up on the table stained and tarnished. I often go out to eat and know what a good restaurant is, but I can't understand how this can be called the best in Vaihingen. How are the other restaurants then please? I've never written a review like this before, but it wasn't a nice experience.

Authentic Italian with great service and very tasty food. We had pasta and pizza. Even special requests (spicy oil) were implemented in a friendly manner. I highly recommend it. Prices were reasonable.

If you turn “Wolt” on again, it simply won’t work reliably with your drivers. I can rarely have it delivered and if there is a driver there, it just takes far too long... so please just turn it back on, thank you

Waren das erste mal da. Essen sehr fein Kellner auch super einfach ehrlich nett.Waren zu acht. Pizzen und Nudelgerichte und Salat und Vorspeisen und Nachtisch. Alles lecker.Als Abschluss gab es noch einen Schnaps aufs Haus. Wir waren sehr zufrieden Preis Leistung super. Kommen sicher wieder.

Pizza direkt aus dem Steinofen. Lecker und knusprig. Der Pizza-Tomatensoße hat allerdings Würze gefehlt. Personal war freundlich. Beim Mittagstisch war bei den Pizzen auch ein gemischter Salat inklusive. All das Essen kam schnell.

Bedienung hatte kein Auge dafür, ob wir bereit waren zu bestellen. Meine Tochter wurde überrumpelt und bestellte etwas unter Druck, was sie sonst nicht bestellt hätte. Die Tischdecke war ziemlich schmuddelig, es lagen Haare und Essensreste darauf, ebenso auf den Sitzbänken. Meinen Platz musste ich erstmal von Käseresten befreien, um mich nicht draufzusetzen. Das Essen war okay, aber nicht besonders schmackhaft. Ich kann Marcellino nicht empfehlen.

Wow, was soll ich sagen? Das Restaurant verdient definitiv 5 Sterne! Genauer gesagt, verdient dies die großartige Kellnerin, die uns an jenem Abend bedient hat. Wir waren an einem Samstag zu viert dort essen, und es war offensichtlich, dass das Restaurant sehr beliebt ist. Daher ist eine Reservierung unbedingt zu empfehlen. Das Essen war schlichtweg hervorragend. Wir genossen eine perfekte Pizza, einen äußerst frischen Fisch und zwei köstliche originale Spaghetti Carbonara. Das Restaurant ist ein Familienbetrieb, und die Kellnerin, die uns bediente, war die Tochter des Chefs. Sie erwies sich als äußerst professionell und charmant. Sie konnte uns jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ablesen und war dazu noch äußerst freundlich. Als Krönung erhielten wir nach dem Essen sogar einen kostenlosen italienischen Limoncello, serviert vom Haus. Die Preise entsprachen definitiv der gebotenen Qualität, und meine Gäste und ich fühlten uns, als wären wir im Italienurlaub. Ein herzliches Dankeschön geht an das Restaurant Marcellino und die liebenswerte Kellnerin für diesen unvergesslichen Abend. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Super Essen dort. Bin sehr positiv überrascht. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann draußen Essen. Bestellen vor Ort und mitnehmen ist auch kein Problem. Leider ist die Pizza aber nicht geschnitten gewesen. Parkmöglichkeiten sind leider nicht vorhanden. Kann ich nur empfehlen komme gerne wieder her. Aus Gründen der besseren Lesbarkeit wird bei Personenbezeichnungen und personenbezogenen Hauptwörtern in dieser Rezension die männliche Form verwendet. Entsprechende Begriffe gelten im Sinne der Gleichbehandlung grundsätzlich für alle Geschlechter. Die verkürzte Sprachform hat nur redaktionelle Gründe und beinhaltet keine Wertung.

Einer der besten, wenn nicht sogar der beste Italiener in Vaihingen. Etwas gehobenes Ambiente, wenn auch für meinen Geschmack etwas zu beengt. Dennoch würde ich das Restaurant empfehlen.

Das Essen war sehr gut, jedoch mussten wir lange auf unser Hauptgericht warten. Trotzdem kamen die Vorspeisen sehr schnell. Geschmacklich waren die Gerichte sehr gut. Vom Kellner hätte ich erwartet, dass er öfter an den Tisch kommt, daher nur vier Sterne. Es lag wahrscheinlich daran, dass ziemlich viel los war.

Ein wirklich sehr tolles Restaurant… Empfehlen kann man dieses Restaurant zu 100%.

Wir waren vor einem Monat im Restaurant Marcellino. Wir bestellten ein Meeresfrüchte-Risotto mit einem fantastischen Geschmack, perfekt zubereiteten und zarten Thunfisch, wie er sein sollte. So etwas habe ich noch nie gegessen. Kompliment an den Chefkoch AbdulAziz. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen Zeit.

Die Raumakustik sorgt für eine unangenehm laute Atmosphäre.

Ich war zum 2 Mal da gewesen hatte mir eine Pizza bestellt geschmacklich war ok aber der Pizzaboden war nicht richtig durch sprich nicht knusprig dachte es wäre nur bei mir so aber bei jeder Pizza von meinen Begleitungen auch Matsch. Sehr schade

Das Essen ist sehr Lecker und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und nett.

Vorab waren mein Mann und ich dort um etwas zu trinken. Haben uns gedacht am nächsten Tag dort zu Essen da uns die Karte sehr gut gefallen hat. Am nächsten Abend kamen wir dort an und sie haben uns wieder erkannt, fragten nach den gleichen Getränken die wir am Vortag genossen haben. Speisen waren frisch zubereitet und sehr köstlich. Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und die Preise moderat. Sollten wir uns nochmal in der Gegend befinden, besuchen wir das Restaurant gerne wieder. Hierfür gibt es von uns volle Punktzahl.
