Based on a recommendation, we booked a table for dinner at the restaurant "Mamma Mia" online. After a long drive, we were looking forward to a relaxing evening in a pleasant atmosphere with excellent food. Given the high ratings on the relevant websites, we certainly expected as much. The reception was rather hectic; no wonder, the restaurant was obviously very busy that evening. We were assigned a very small table, and the neighboring table was practically right next to it. So much for privacy! After this initial disappointment, the ordering process with the waitstaff unfortunately didn't improve things either. This led us to wonder how this restaurant achieves such high ratings. At that point, anything higher than a 2 out of 5 was out of the question. Fortunately, the quality of the food we ordered didn't completely ruin the evening. Ultimately, we'd give it a 3 out of 5.

It's best to make a reservation; the place is nice, but the tables are a bit cramped. We went in November, and it was cold outside and extremely hot inside. It's an Italian restaurant, but they don't offer pizza. They mainly serve pasta, but also have starters, lasagna, etc. It was a very tasty pasta. The portions are quite large.

The staff were incredibly friendly. Even though the restaurant was fully booked and we hadn't made a reservation, they still went out of their way to find us a table. The pasta was the best I've ever had, and the restaurant is very cozy and has a homey feel!

The entire team provided excellent service and were very friendly. The food, both the appetizer and main course, was very well-rounded. For our first course, we had beef carpaccio, which I unfortunately found to be pale in color and quite watery. The second appetizer, a vitello tonnato, was absolutely delicious and, in our opinion, perfect. For our main course, we had spaghetti with squid and shrimp. There was a small mango among the squid rings, which were a bit rubbery in places. However, not all of them were like that; the majority were very good! Overall, we can highly recommend this restaurant.

This was my first time at Mamma Mia in Dresden, and I was absolutely thrilled. We started with a delicious vitello tonnato, followed by excellent pasta dishes. The wine was superb, the service attentive and warm – simply everything was fantastic. We will definitely be back. Until next time!

A wonderful, very cozy restaurant. We ordered the "mamma mia" and "buffalo" pasta. They were delicious. We also ordered a bottle of wine—the lambruso grasparossa was very tasty and light.

Since I couldn't find the restaurant on the Wolt delivery platform, we went there. The food was delicious. Unfortunately, we had a table right at the back, which could have been a bit more comfortable. It would be a great service if you could have the food delivered to your home, as the dishes are perfect for that.

Our hotel desk clerk, Majd, recommended this place and it was an excellent recommendation. We didn’t have a reservation and we arrived at 20:00. We had to wait about 15 minutes but they were able to accommodate the two of us. The atmosphere is really nice and the service was really good. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Ravioli “Pure Sünde” (ravioli in a cream and truffle sauce) and my girlfriend had the Giro D Italia (pasta in a tomato sauce). The ravioli was sinfully good 😈 and my lady enjoyed her dish immensely. I also had a glass of primitivo, which was also very good. I would love to return to this restaurant, this time with a reservation so we can be seated promptly.

I stumbled upon Mama Mia on Monday evening while looking for a late dinner. The pasta with spicy tomato sauce and salsiccia was excellent – ​​the waiter's wine recommendation was also superb. The dessert, "Cassata Siciliana," was delicious and a perfect end to the evening. I felt very comfortable here, even dining alone in the lively atmosphere, which was still lively even in the evening.

We spontaneously decided to have dinner. We got a table for a 1.5-hour time slot without a reservation. We were warmly welcomed and well looked after. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. A definite recommendation if you're looking for really good pasta in Dresden's city center.

A very good restaurant if you love Italian food. Known for its many pasta dishes, which are truly delicious. Our food arrived very quickly, and the waiters and waitresses were extremely friendly and efficient. A small, illuminated cube serves as the ordering and payment system on the table. They also offer a pasta-making workshop for children on Sundays, where they can make their own pasta. The seating is very comfortable. The only downside I could find was that it was sometimes a little noisy, but it wasn't a major issue. It was still possible to have a conversation at a comfortable volume.

I spontaneously went to this restaurant on Tuesday evening. Unexpectedly, it was full. Nevertheless, the guests were very well looked after. I was offered an aperitif while I waited and was seated after 10 minutes, which was perfectly fine. As mentioned above, the service was excellent. They were very busy, yet everything was handled quickly, and the waiters were in great spirits. The food was outstanding.

The food arrived incredibly quickly despite the restaurant being full. The waiters are friendly and have a great sense of humor. You can taste the fresh pasta and the creative spirit of the kitchen.

Today, after a long time, we went to Mamma Mia again. The restaurant was very busy. The waiters' uniforms were wonderful. A little bit of Italy. The food didn't take long to arrive. It was, as expected, delicious. The service was unobtrusive but always friendly and attentive. The only thing we found particularly disturbing was the volume of the music. As a result, the noise level in the restaurant was high, and ultimately, it was just stressful for me. A shame. But we can still recommend the restaurant. Thank you, Mamma Mia.

The ambiance invites you to linger and cuddle – simply wonderfully cozy. The service is attentive, friendly, and dressed in uniform Italian work attire, which gives the whole place an authentic touch. If you want to eat well and, above all, value homemade dishes, you shouldn't pass by here – you should definitely stop in!
