Since I have a great love for Italian food, this restaurant has become my favorite in Dresden. The pasta is perfectly cooked al dente and superbly seasoned. The ambiance invites you to linger and cuddle – simply wonderfully cozy. The service is attentive, friendly, and dressed in uniform Italian work attire, which gives the whole place an authentic touch. If you want to eat well and, above all, value homemade dishes, you shouldn't pass by here – you should definitely stop in!

Today, after a long time, we went to Mamma Mia again. The restaurant was very busy. The waiters' uniforms were wonderful. A little bit of Italy. The food didn't take long to arrive. It was, as expected, delicious. The service was unobtrusive but always friendly and attentive. The only thing we found particularly disturbing was the volume of the music. As a result, the noise level in the restaurant was high, and ultimately, it was just stressful for me. A shame. But we can still recommend the restaurant. Thank you, Mamma Mia.

We spontaneously made a reservation for the evening and received a warm, family-like welcome. Dino's service was very attentive and caring 😊! The pasta is prepared with love—and you can taste it. All special requests were immediately and just as lovingly implemented! Definitely recommend it! Thanks a million for the beautiful evening and the excellent food.

We had such a delicious meal here. Mammone XXL tortellini and the ravioli "Pure Sin." The food was divine. The service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and rustic, like at Mom's in Italy. I'd love to go back.

Good service with short wait times. The servers are friendly and serve you quickly. There's a small dice on the table that you can use to signal when service is needed. There's nothing wrong with the food itself, but the portions might be a bit small for a big eater.

Coming without a reservation is a gamble. We waited about 30 minutes. To tide us over, they offered a drink to tide us over. The menu isn't extensive, and everything sounds very appealing. Was it? Well, not quite. We had cheese soup, Giro di Italia, and the unusual lasagna. The cheese soup was quite good, but with too much cream. Giro di Italia was okay, the burrata was very fluffy inside, but the pasta was too al dente. The lasagna consisted of many, many sheets of pasta and very little meat sauce. It wasn't that great. The service is good; the waitresses are friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the noise level is extremely disturbing—not the customers, but the music. It's much too loud.

Everything was good, the staff were friendly, the pasta was delicious, but (1) the music was very loud. (2) You could feel the wind blowing past you as you walked past the window. So even after eating, I was still cold. Not a good experience in October.

This place is totally overrated. The pasta is nothing special. Far too expensive. Overcrowded and way too loud. The lasagna had meat. It was full of pasta.

On our short trip to Dresden this was a spontaneous choice and it was just what we needed. A small menu but with good variety and everything was fresh and super delicious. Wonderful, slightly rustic decor with super friendly staff. Definitely recommend this place and saved it to our favorites!

The welcome at the restaurant was very warm, and we were immediately seated at a great table. The staff is exceptionally friendly and exudes the Italian way of life. After placing our order, the food arrived shortly after, with the final preparation at our table. The restaurant really impressed me, and I'd be happy to come back.

The service and atmosphere were good. However, the squid ink pasta was overcooked. It would have been delicious if it had been al dente, so it's a shame.

We're from Berlin and found the restaurant on Google. All in all, it was a great visit and we would come back anytime :)!

Delicious homemade pasta specialties. Note: No pizza. The atmosphere is OK, depending on where you sit. Very busy. Service is friendly and courteous. Card payments accepted. I had lasagna, which was plentiful, very hot, and delicious.

The food was very tasty, but unfortunately some of it was a bit cold. Nevertheless, the evening was really great, and I highly recommend this restaurant! The service is excellent, and the drinks are also great.

The homemade noodles are delicious! There are many special dishes and a monthly recommended menu, which tastes very good! There is also a set meal for 2 people every Wednesday, including a bottle of red wine, which is suitable for a date to get tipsy.

Unfortunately, the pasta didn't live up to my expectations. The presentation was interesting, but I didn't like the taste. I had the impression that the sauces were mixed or prepared in the same pan as my previous order. Why did I get that impression? My neighbor ordered the same thing, but with the light sauce, while I got the red one. I don't understand why biscuits were served with the pasta; they would have been better with Parmesan or pistachios.

A very disappointing experience today at this restaurant, which I had previously appreciated as a regular. My companion, a wheelchair user, and I were looking for a seat at one of the outside tables. Instead of a welcome, we were immediately informed that the table was reserved from 5 p.m. As an alternative, we were offered only two completely unsuitable seats: 1. A table inside the restaurant, accessible only via steps and without a ramp. 2. Another free table outside – but without any offer of assistance to escort us there. After this "information," the waitress simply turned around and attended to other guests, leaving us alone and in the lurch. This was far from what we expected from hospitable or solution-oriented service. Because we didn't feel welcome and the needs of a guest with limited mobility were ignored, we left the restaurant and went elsewhere for dinner. The particularly bitter part: On our way home, about two hours later, we saw that the table supposedly reserved from 5 p.m. was not occupied by any guests until this later time. The alleged reservation was obviously just a pretext. As the managing director of a company, I wonder how someone can lose their regular customers like this. I regularly travel to Dresden on business and have always enjoyed the pasta here. However, after this experience, which shows that people with severe disabilities are not valued here, I will refrain from going there. Accessibility and hospitality are clearly not a priority here. A complete failure of service and a disastrous signal to people with disabilities.

Its our favorite restaurant to go to because the food tastes amazing there. They make birthdays so special with birthday gift, staff singing happy birthday, light work etc so we always chose this restaurant for a private family gathering at birthdays.

The pasta is truly excellent. The service team ensures a pleasant experience.

Loooooong waiting on a Thursday evening! Waited at the entrance for 5mins, although the waiters kept passing by to clean the table outside and they even said “Entschuldigung“, nobody wanted to offer us a seat. After that we need to wait for the menu for long time again… Waiters were friendly, but sorry it really took too long. Food was bad as well. Sauce was good, but pasta sticked together and not well cooked. Very disappointing experience.

We were here for dinner on a Tuesday evening. We had a reservation for 6:30 p.m., but arrived at 6 p.m. First, they spent a long time looking for our reservation, and then we were repeatedly reminded that we had to leave promptly at 8 p.m. We thought two hours should be plenty for dinner... The food selection was generally unexciting. Drinks and appetizers arrived within a reasonable time. A mini portion of boring bread was served with them. Not bread plates, but a small bowl of olive oil. After the appetizer, the long wait began. Tables with larger groups that had arrived after us, some of whom hadn't even reserved, had finished their main courses before we got them. The waiter came to the table once and said it would take another 2-3 minutes. In total, we waited about 45 minutes. The pasta was okay, but really nothing more. The truffle pasta was far from good. Salt and pepper weren't refilled at the table. The dishes are served in a small pan with three bowls on the side. Arugula, Parmesan cheese, and an Italian pastry. All in all, it's rather average. You get the feeling that they're trying to squeeze in a lot of guests in a short amount of time. You also seem to get a welcome gift if you like the Instagram page and watch a promotional video, which you're repeatedly and persistently reminded of when making your online reservation. That probably explains some of the positive reviews. The seating in the restaurant is very close together, making it very noisy. The prices are quite high, but inappropriate for the quality of the service and food. We wouldn't come again.

Tried best seller pastas and tomato soup and it tasted really good, their tomato soup is the best. Prices are on the little higher side otherwise recommended.
