Starting with a wonderful bruscetta, the pasta that followed tasted extremely delicate. The courteous service in combination with the pleasant ambience leave me no choice but five stars.

The last reaches of Napoli are in Dresden ❤️ A charming ristorante, attentive service, the Eein well chilled and the truffle pasta !! A poem!! This restaurant alone is worth the trip to Dresden!

Great food and especially our waitress Sophie was super attentive. Is absolutely recommended. We didn't make a reservation and the waiting time was bridged with an aperitif. Just ask nicely and anything is possible.

Delicious pasta nicely served. Unfortunately, the tables are quite small for two, which is annoying when you can't put anything down; But that doesn't stop me from going back there. The homemade noodles are great.

Went here with a large group of 2 children (primary school and kindergarten) with a reservation during peak rush hour. Service was extremely friendly right from the start, communication was absolutely rapid with the glowing box on the table. Good wine, fair prices. The food is praised beyond praise for good reason, but the service is even better. In the end, both children fell in love with various service staff and were sent off with a lollipop and doggy bag, which they then snacked on at home. A great experience and probably the best restaurant in Dresden city center.

If you want to eat pasta, great restaurant. Service was excellent, we had to wait because we didn't have a reservation, and we got a delicious aperitif. Unfortunately there was no currywurst, but there was an excellent starter plate and great noodles. The veneer didn't convince the carpenter in me that it was real wood, but the wine served on this table was outstanding! Overall, a very fine, recommended Italian restaurant

Customer is king The food was outstanding and the service is simply amazing. I've never experienced anything like this in my life. The fact that I only pay €17 for a complete dish is simply unbelievable. I can really recommend it to everyone! Other restaurateurs could learn a lesson from this. Just great!

The Mama Mia restaurant in Dresden really surprised us positively. The noodles were very tasty and tasted authentic. The service was friendly and quick, we felt we were in good hands. Much ado about nothing... Of course, with number 1 on Tripadvisor and many excellent reviews, you are excited and go into a potentially authentic Italian evening with corresponding expectations. Short conclusion: Apart from the friendly and warm service, the restaurant is as far away from an authentic 'Italian' as Rome is from Dresden. The kitchen also seems to have forgotten Mom's secret pasta recipe, advertised on boards at the entrance, in the face of online fame. How this restaurant could even get into a top ten ranking is a mystery. Saturday evening: The entrance with its pretty floral bouquet should be the last positive sensory explosion next to the excellent 'Toscana IGT - Villa Antinori'. Once inside, the tables are squeezed into every little corner to maximize profits and loud Italian pop music from the loudspeakers installed everywhere helps to avoid unnecessary conversation. No matter what, the table next door listens with interest to every shouted sentence. Fortunately, we were able to exchange the space at the brightly lit refrigerator next to the entrance for a table for two in the gallery with the snide remark that it was loud and hectic everywhere. Food and drink menus arrived promptly, and the food and drinks were taken just in time after around 15 minutes. There was nothing to complain about about the drink service. The service or the kitchen failed to order a portion of 'Grana' pieces with the wine, even after two explanations. First came grated cheese and then a soft cheese. The bruschetta 'La Tradizione' came out a little crispy, quite bland and, contrary to what was ordered, heaped with parmesan. What can I say, it was almost 9pm and we were hungry! The table next door was there before us and still had nothing. Lucky. Unfortunately, neither the royally jagged 'Pappardelle Regina MammaMia' with strips of beef and bland tomato sauce, the house specialty, was available or could be distinguished from very good supermarket pasta, nor was the 'Spaghetti Mare Nero', shaken cold with spices and olive oil in baking paper. What's that supposed to mean? It was all solid in terms of taste, but for around €20 for a portion of pasta there was nothing special. So the only advice left for the owners is to think about their beginnings, create more space, look for mom's secret recipes and rethink the continuous sound system. Unfortunately, it's 'much ado about nothing...'! There are three stars for the friendly service, good wine and reasonable food.

Delicious homemade Italian dishes in Dresden. The best lasagna outside Italy. Fresh pasta dishes but no pizza. If you are a pizza lover search elsewhere.

We were warmly welcomed. The service was good and attentive. Unfortunately, we expected more from the food. The pasta dishes are rather boring and taste nothing special. I know a better restaurant there. However, the presentation was very appealing. All in all average.

The food is delicious, and there’s no need to make a reservation. The staff were a bit slow with the billing—I asked to pay before the table next to me, but they were served first. Was it because I’m a foreigner? Other than that, everything was fine, and the wine was great.

It is a very popular destination in Dresden. They have amazing variety of pasta and the portions are extremely big. Bruschetta was nice but the bread was not ideal. Make sure that you make reservation since it is quite crowded. Prices are acceptable.

Ristorante Mamma Mia is really an excellent Italian restaurant and dinner there is a must on every trip to Dresden. The prices aren't a bargain, but you'll never be disappointed when it comes to food. The only criticism is the noise and the very tight seating in the restaurant.

The waiters were cute and the atmosphere was fine, but the pasta, its flavors and ingredients were done really bad. It tasted like something you could accidentally make at your own house/eat at a fast food place…

There is homemade pasta here, not pizza. It was delicious and we were served nicely. Toilet on the upper floor, so perhaps not necessarily suitable for wheelchairs.

We were looking for an authentic Italian restaurant around dresden and saw the raving reviews of this place. Although we made a last-minute booking and it was still pending confirmation, the waitor was quick on his feet to think and help us find an in-between slot/table. We enjoyed our pastas and ravioli. The Queen of the beef with pasta was really tender and delicious. Also enjoyed that each table had a help-yourself-to-a-variety-of-sauces set-up. P.s try the olive oil with garlic. The services from the servers were all great and helpful. They were polite and friendly!

Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant yesterday was a disappointment. The atmosphere was simple and seemed rather poor. The ambience doesn't match the prices on the menu at all. Perhaps the owner wanted to create a feeling of romantic Italian tradition, but the impression was more of a "poor wanderer" who saved money everywhere - especially on the toilet. The service also left a lot to be desired. Our food was served but they forgot to bring us cutlery. The cleanliness of the place was also questionable. The pasta may have been homemade, but the sauces tasted like pre-made products. The wine we ordered was of questionable quality. All in all: a waste of time and money.

The pasta is really delicious. There is a lot of pasta. It was nice that there was a kids menu, and there was a lot of pasta on the kids menu. The second floor was a little hot. There was a small lamp on the table, so it was really comfortable. So I was satisfied because the service was really fast. I intend to visit again.

A pasta restaurant with the feel of a modern local restaurant in Dresden. The quality of the raw noodles is comparable to that of the pasta I tasted in Florence and Rome, Italy. From 11:00 to 15:00, you can eat salad-like antipasti, pasta, beer or wine, and a glass of soft drink for 13 or 17 euros depending on the type of pasta. I highly recommend the truffle cream tagliatelle with nuts and basil.

Telephone reservation for Friday evening failed because no one answered the phone. When asked in person on site, the online reservation was abruptly referred to. Online request Friday evening 10.30 p.m., confirmation received on Saturday at 5.30 p.m. Unfortunately, the antipasti plate only contained sausage and cheese, and no trace of the other items on the menu. Vitello served too thick with sauce for my taste. For 2x starters, 1x pasta, 1 dessert and a few drinks we lost €100. I'm happy to pay, but there are still a few things missing here. Tables too narrow, too warm and overall very loud, but staff were super friendly and very attentive. My companion thought it was great, I don't need it again.

I stopped by spontaneously around 3:20 p.m. and was warmly welcomed. The homemade tomato soup was served on an Italian board. See photo. Plus the olive bread with a very good tasting olive oil. Price performance is fair. The tea is from Althaus! For dessert, pistachio cream tiramisu in a cup is a fantastic finale. The espresso makes the short trip to Italy 🇮🇹 complete. I would love to come back with my husband or friends. Of course only with reservation, because everything here is fully booked from 7 p.m. Thanks

Very good food, waiter is called via button on the table, which doesn't always work well. On the evening we were there there were two birthday parties there and Happy Birthday was played loudly twice, preventing any further conversation. Really annoying.
