After trying Saxon cuisine, I was looking for something different. And I found it: an absolutely authentic Italian restaurant with excellent appetizers. The carpaccio was a dream, as was the tomato salad. The pizza is one of the best I've had in years – kudos to the pizza chef. Pair that with an Italian beer, and you'll feel like you're sitting in a restaurant somewhere in Tuscany/Maremma. GRAZIE MILLE

We always enjoy coming back! We've taken pizza home several times and this time we went there with guests to eat. It's super family-friendly; our son was immediately offered a high chair, and later they even brought him a toy. Although the place is small and always busy in the evenings, the atmosphere is pleasant and not too noisy. The food is super fresh, varied, and delicious. Our guests enjoyed the fish with potato wedges, we enjoyed pizza (super delicious) and lasagna, as well as a great antipasti platter for everyone. The Aperol glasses were well-filled. My colleagues always want to order there when we meet because the pizza is very large, well-topped, delicious, and fresh :)

First of all, I have to say that the waiters were very friendly and made a lot of effort. However, there were too many things that bothered me yesterday. One by one: 1. If changes to the food are simply not possible (lasagna with salmon and spinach), you have to assume it's a ready-made meal; otherwise, you could simply leave out the spinach when preparing it ;) 2. If you order spaghetti aglio olio and even tell the waiter to add lots of garlic! He nods and then there's ZERO garlic, not even a slice or a scrap or anything like that, so it's pasta in oil and not aglio o olio... thanks for nothing. 3. The live music itself was very nice, but so loud that you couldn't hear anything, neither the staff nor the people at the table -> a shame, well-intentioned, badly executed. 4. The restrooms were broken and unfortunately not exactly clean, which of course can happen at some point, but at these prices, there's potential for improvement. 5. This is more of a personal matter, but no less important: When the waiter serves the food smells so much like an ashtray that I almost lose my appetite. Either chewing gum or good perfume, but that's very unpleasant for the guest! Unfortunately, charm doesn't help in that case. All in all, it was a nice little restaurant with a lot of charm and huge potential, but it seems to be slowly becoming oblivious to its business or simply no longer the restaurant that consistently had 5 stars a year ago. I would like to emphasize, however, that the staff was very friendly!

Based on other reviews, I made a reservation just to be safe. That might not have been necessary (Sunday evening). The pizzas were sublime, that's the point, but otherwise, the service was rushed, we weren't always understood (and that's okay, just be friendly instead of irritated), and we had to wait a long time for someone to finally bring the bill. We might have wanted something afterward, but we weren't asked. They were clearly convinced of the quality of their food, because an "enjoy your meal" or "is everything to your liking" wasn't an option. Too bad. But the pizzas tasted good: a perfectly thin crust, plenty of toppings (not too much!), and flavorful fish (tuna/anchovies).

Classic lasagne is not tasty at all

You're simply a guest in the family. Great food. The fish/pasta/pizza are simply delicious. The tiramisu is the best. It's homemade, like everything else, and delicious. We'd love to go back. We were there Sunday evening after seeing the State Operetta.

We often have dinner here before going to the State Operetta. The quality is consistently very good. The service is absolutely top-notch and very pleasant. The fresh grilled sea bass is absolutely fantastic, as is the antipasta plate; I've rarely had such a good one. Three stars for the ambiance, as the tables are very close together and you can overhear the conversation at the next table if they're not chirping.

This is our fourth visit to Grazie Mille. We stop here whenever we're in the area for a theater visit. It's always a lovely place. While the restaurant is relatively small and the seating is limited, the excellent service and delicious, freshly prepared food make up for it. The prices are very reasonable and by no means overpriced. We'd be happy to come back.

Excellent pizzas, very good wine

Mh, first of all we didn't have a reservation and yet we got a reserved place that was reserved for a later time. The ambience is ala Italia, the rooms are used to the maximum, except for the last space. For food, unfortunately the gratinated noodles were served with just too much oil that the stomach had to tolerate. My pizza was very tasty and really big, but it was also processed with a little too much oil. The hosts are very accommodating and didn't charge us for the noodles.

After 3 days of vacation we finally found an Italian restaurant that didn't just have the name. Too bad I discovered it on the last day. Fabulous seafood spaghetti highly recommended. Thanks again for the wonderful evening spent in the name of true Italianness.

Very friendly service with excellent food

Price-performance fits here. Food was also tasty. It's just that the tables were all a bit close together. The toilets weren't very clean either.

Five of us ate there on a Saturday in April 2025. The shop is cozy, but quite narrow. The food was fantastic, although I paid a whopping €30 for the sea bass instead of €21.80 as it said on the menu. Unfortunately I only saw that afterwards, when we were already out. The point is deducted for that. Service was also great, so I fully recommend it!

I discovered the pizzaria spontaneously on Google Maps and when we arrived all the tables were occupied. It was a great atmosphere with Italian music. I liked the pizza so much that I briefly thought I was on Lake Garda in Italy. A great family restaurant.

Ambience really great. You have the feeling of sitting in a trattoria somewhere in Italy. Unfortunately I have to deduct two stars for the service. The food didn't come at the same time and we sat with empty glasses for a really long time. We were simply ignored and had to draw attention to ourselves to order. The food wasn't exceptional, just ok. The oil bottle was stuck together and the salt was completely missing.

Four of us had dinner at Grazie Mille. Since it seems to be busy even during the week, a reservation is advantageous. We were served quickly and friendly. The dishes we had were well presented and were fresh. We all enjoyed it. The restaurant doesn't have too many seats. It looks cozy and clean. Price-performance ratio is balanced.

The restaurant is very popular, the food is also very tasty. But it was a little too cramped for me at the table for two and only a few centimeters away from the neighbors. Therefore a star deduction. Staff is very friendly (but also very young). The food came super quickly.

Real Italian restaurant in Dresden

Excellent dishes, real Italian cuisine, expert and very friendly staff, will definitely return!

The food actually looked pretty good, but everything was extremely salty. I had tomato soup, which I unfortunately couldn't finish after a few spoonfuls, and bruschetta, which was just about edible. Probably a slip-up that unfortunately affected us.

We had reserved a table for two people and were able to sit down at a small table on time. The distance to the next table is approx. 30cm. It's very tight, every conversation is "public"! The landlord and his wife do a great job in service, but the same cannot be said about the chef. We chose bruscetta with truffle cream as a starter and were very disappointed. The bread was not toasted, but warm on the outside and cold on the inside. Not fluffy ciabatta but rather boring white bread. The truffle cream was a brown mass with a strange, almost repulsive taste. No truffle at all, just a taste that is somewhat rancid. The pizzas were ok, although both clearly needed additional salt - average, usable quality. We first considered a fish dish, but then we noticed from the table next door that their salmon was dry-fried and that the side dishes, despite improvements, were still not served warm! Therefore, the safer choice is pizza.

We had reserved the table long in advance. When we had to change the timing again at short notice, it went smoothly. Unfortunately, the tables are very, very close together, so you are forced to listen to the conversation at the next table. Not very pleasant! The service (all family members) is very nice. The food comes quickly, the pizza is large, but also expensive. We were not at all satisfied with the quality of the starter (bruschetta with truffle cream). The bread was rock hard and dense, warm on the outside and cold on the inside. This was definitely not fresh, airy, crusty Italian bread! The truffle cream smelled very much like truffles, but tasted artificial and strange - just not like truffles! A pizza had to be salted because it tasted very bland, the pizza anchovies with gorgonzola tasted pleasantly spicy due to the ingredients. By the way: The people at the table next door left their food and left the restaurant angry because the potatoes were cold and the fish was cold and dry - despite the request to warm everything up again. MY TIP: Only eat pizza here!
