Great place with very friendly staff. If you like authentic Italian food, you should stop by.

We ate there yesterday. The service was super friendly and very attentive. The food was amazing; we had tortellini and pizza. It was truly delicious, and the portions were huge. It definitely won't be our last time.

This used to be my favorite pizzeria. The emphasis is on WAS. When the new owners took over, the pizza was still the same, but gradually the quality declined. All the good ingredients were replaced with cheap ones. One example is the Calabrese salami, which used to be nice and spicy and tasty, but now it's just some cheap salami on it. See for yourself... I'm not going there anymore.

The restaurant was quiet (we were there during the week). The service was friendly. We had to wait an unusually long time for our food. The tomato soup and pasta dish arrived at the same time. The food was okay.

We ordered food and picked it up. We paid €7.50 for pizza rolls that were rock hard. The funghi pizza (mushrooms from a can) cost €11.50! It's just terrible, and I wouldn't recommend it! Absolutely outrageous...

Always a hit, top location on the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path, we have never been disappointed here and always enjoy returning.

We went to the theater performance and ordered pizza and pasta. My husband wanted to swap salami for spicy salami. 2 euros were charged for this. The pasta with spinach and salmon were okay, just not enough salmon and not enough sauce.

I had tortellini today! Super delicious and very large! They make the tortellini exactly how you want it. Really great! The pizza is gigantic! And you can choose what you want in the pizza rolls. We got them filled with cheese. Super delicious! The service was super friendly. Many thanks to the waitress and the chef! We'll be happy to come back.

There were two of us and we were given a table in the gallery. When I asked if we could sit downstairs (all but one table were free), we were told that wasn't possible because there were only four-person tables, and the two-person tables upstairs. We then said that it was too cold for us upstairs because there was no heating, and that it must be possible for two people to sit at a four-person table. We were told that he would have to set the entire table again afterward, not me! That was it for us!

Unfortunately, the wrong delivery was made for the second time in a row. The first time there was a wrong salad, which was reluctantly delivered. This time a dressing was forgotten. When we pointed this out, the answer was sauce is sauce... Mistakes can happen, but dealing with them is pretty bad here. The food itself tastes quite boring, e.g. For example, in the salad with chicken, the chicken has zero roasted flavors, and salt and pepper don't seem to be known either. Probably won't order there again.

In good and bad times We have been regular customers at La Rucola for a long time. We have had a change of ownership and Corona. So far we have always been satisfied. After today, that will be over. We ordered schnitzel with fries and salad, 2 Fanta, 2 alko. Free pilsner and a salad extra. There are no fries. Fryer broken. Bad luck. Instead of Pils there is wheat. Ok, it can happen. The side salad doesn't come at all. Neither does the second Fanta. But everything is included on the invoice. I pay everything, but then explain to the waitress how dissatisfied I am today. She points out that everyone can have a bad day and we don't have to come back if we don't like it. It's a shame what Corona couldn't do, the service did it in 5 minutes.

Absolutely no longer recommended!!! We pre-ordered 2 pizzas and two salads for pickup. For the salads we have cocktail dressing and yogurt dressing. Unfortunately, the cocktail dressing was bad, lumpy and tasted very, very sour. We went back and complained about the salad. When we pointed out that the dressing wasn't good, the first thing we pointed out was that the dressing was made fresh two days a day. We pointed out that you could try it (we had the dressing and salad with us). This was denied. We were then offered whether we wanted a new salad. I usually take this for granted. Logically, the pizzas got cold in the meantime while we were waiting for the salad. The apology was relatively reluctant. Compensation for hassle, effort and time would have been nice. But this didn't exist either. I won't eat here anymore!

Although the employee has 41 years of experience... (own statement) The order was received promptly and correctly. What was ordered was repeated. When the food was brought to the table we noticed the mistake. We received two pizzas even though we only ordered one pizza and one carpaccio with parmesan and rocket. They apologized for that and made it good with an espresso ;<) Unfortunately the carpaccio was without rocket. Unfortunately the meat was also frozen. Without a cruet at the table and without flavoring on the plate. What experience can bring.

I was actually disappointed this time. The food was ok, I've had better there under the previous owner. The service was not good, there was hardly any request for drinks. There was only one waiter who somehow took care of everything. The rest of the family just stood around and chatted. Unfortunately it is no longer recommended and it was the last time I was there. Sorry!

Espresso für 3,20€!!! wollte nur einen Absacker trinken nach einem guten Mahl im Hotel Ruhrbrücke, zu Essen kann ich nichts sagen, doch auch da scheinen die Preise hoch gegriffen.

Das La Rucola ist ein kleines Restaurant .Wenn das Wetter es zulässt , sitze ich lieber draussen.Preis Leistung ist super.Egal ob die Pizzen oder auch die Nudelgerichte , total lecker.Nur zu empfehlen.Das Personal ist sehr freundlich .Wir gehen immer wieder gerne hin

Essen kaum gewürzt und schon kalt als wir es mitgenommen haben. Aioli und Kreuterbutter sowie die Brötchen sehr zu empfehlen. Salat auch sehr lecker. Pizza wirklich kaum belegt. Service ist mittelmäßig

Glatte 5 von 5 ... Das Essen, in meinem Fall, Spagetti Bolognese war super lecker und reichhaltig. Ambiente und Bedienung sehr sehr nett. Gerne werde ich dieses Lokal erneut besuchen. Zumal Preis und Leistung wirklich gut sind.

Seitdem neue Besitzer drin sind, hat es rapide nachgelassen. Keine Organisation, Tische werden nicht abgeräumt, bis überhaupt jemand kommt um die Bestellung auf zu nehmen braucht es schon 30 min. Bis dann das Essen kommt, noch einmal eine Stunde. Unterirdisch, hier geh nicht mehr hin.

Es ist ein neuer Betreiber in dem Restaurant, das Restaurant ist nun schöner gestaltet die Pizza aber schmeckt nicht mehr. Da bekomme ich eine bessere Pizza bei der Döner-Bude am Bahnhof. Schade......wir waren jahrelang treue Gäste dort aber das hat sich nun erledigt.

Wir waren jetzt 2 mal da und haben uns einmal das Essen nach Hause liefern lassen...Fazit beim ersten Mal, super lecker Pizza und Salat.. beim 2. wurde es geliefert, die Pizza wabelig und kein bisschen lecker, das ganze landete im Müll...beim letzten mal gab es Steak, super teuer, nicht schmackhaft und super zäh. Bedienung sehr nett, deshalb auch 2 Sterne

Ich muss meine Bewertung leider nach unten korrigieren!!! Das Personal ist freundlich....aber - hat der Besitzer gewechselt? Die überbackenen Nudeln hatten null Geschmack, die Tomatensuppe war sonst echt lecker, aber diesmal geschmacklich eine Nullnummer! Früher gab es bei den Nudelgerichten/ Suppen Pizzabrötchen dazu, heute werden sie extra berechnet. Wir werden es vielleicht nochmal versuchen...und hoffen, dass es nur ein Ausrutscher war.

Ich hatte eine Pizza bestellt und gesagt, dass kein Knoblauch darin sein darf, auch nicht in der Sauce, weil ich allergisch bin. Schon nach einer Stunde nach dem Essen hatte ich starke Magenbeschwerden und man sagte mir, dass mein Atem nach Knoblauch riecht. Ich bin sehr verärgert, wie man Hinweise auf Allergie/Unverträglichkeit so ignorieren kann, ich hatte noch Stunden später schwer Probleme mit dem Magen. Auch wenn die Servicekraft sehr nett schien, war sie offenbar ignorant und sehr überfordert...
