Ristorante la Gondola in Leipzig

A great restaurant with a wonderful menu. Currently an extra pumpkin and truffle menu. There were six of us and we tried it out. Everyone was also extremely satisfied with the desserts in the form of panna cotta, tiramisu and limoncello ice cream. The restaurant was quite empty for a Saturday evening. Incomprehensible on my part. Also a big thank you to the lovely service staff who always had a smile on their faces! We'll be back!

Top restaurant Family atmosphere and top Italian food

Pizza itself was OK, but very unpleasant on the phone. If you want to order pizza like Spinach & Feta, you get the cheeky question “if you are serious because you are a real Italian”. So far it's been an OK pizza to pick up, but if you don't want it, you won't get any orders.

Disappointing. Waited 30 minutes for the card to arrive. 90 minutes until the food came. 2 of 8 dishes were too cold. Only 2 of 8 dishes were tasty. No response to complaints. Too bad. Things used to be better. The owner's reaction uses incorrect information. We had reserved in good time. The terrace was only half occupied. No response to our complaints. The reaction with incorrect information was very disappointing.

A great experience... The service is super friendly and the food is delicious. We sat outside right by the water and at the end enjoyed a gondola ride...

Yesterday we were at Ristorante la Gondola with 15 people for my husband's birthday. Everything was great! Fast and very friendly service, food came very quickly despite another big celebration and then there was a small musical performance. There is a large menu and everyone enjoyed it. Everyone was enthusiastic and really enjoyed the evening. Thanks!

Great atmosphere right on the river, not to pay! The food tastes great and I highly recommend the antipasti and insalata di polpo as a starter. Service very very nice. So I can only recommend one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Leipzig that still offers Italian things. We'd love to come back.

Top restaurant. We came as a group of 5 on Sunday at 6 p.m. and despite the house being full, the waiters handled everything brilliantly and we didn't even have to wait 10 minutes to be able to order. The food was also fantastic and we really can't understand the negative comments here. If you're looking for a good Italian in Leipzig, you've come to the right place 👌🏻

A few days ago we had dinner at La Gondola for the fourth time! The restaurant has a beautiful terrace right on the water. We ate fish and I have to say it tasted very good. Finally, 2 tiramisu and 2 panacota rounded off the evening. It was a successful evening

Unfortunately very disappointing restaurant. The ambience has potential but overall is getting old. The food was mediocre at best, and the pizza in particular is not recommended. The waiting time is extreme at over two hours and one looked in vain for a “small greeting from the kitchen” such as bread with oil or olives to tide things over. The service was extremely unfriendly, as a guest you don't feel welcome but rather taken advantage of. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant, there are much better restaurants in Leipzig.

1-2 better beers - of course at a correspondingly higher price - would be good for the good quality of the food. Otherwise a good restaurant, the five of us paid just over 100 euros. That's decent now - other places are easily busier. TOP! Covered outdoor seating right by the water ensures a great atmosphere.

To put it briefly, anyone who likes Italian cuisine is in the best place here in any situation. We would love to come back 👍👍👍

A very tasty Italian restaurant 🍕 right on the canal, you can sit and enjoy one of the beautiful outdoor seating areas! The inside is also very modern and beautifully furnished! Sanitary facilities are clean and elegant. Service is super nice and the food tastes great! Always worth a visit. 60m There is a parking garage away where you should always get a space despite the location.

The new terrace is a wonderful place to sit outside with a view over the canal. The ravioli al porcini were delicious. Friendly staff. Gladly again!

The club is more than unprofessional. We placed an order via Lieferando, which was simply canceled after more than 60 minutes, even though the delivery could be tracked via the map up to that point. That's an absolute disgrace. If you had been able to get in touch or at least reach the establishment by phone, it would have been a different matter. But presenting the customer with a fait accompli is absurd. No recommendation!

Very average food. Almost even below average. A good pizza should be the minimum. Also no frozen goods for this price. Scores with very nice service and ambience. But food should be the most important thing for a restaurant and therefore only 2 stars

The food was wonderful, we had a 3-course menu, which impressed us completely! The salmon was juicy and tender, the vegetables crunchy and aromatic! Many thanks to the chef and especially to the wonderful service, which was extremely friendly and accommodating! We'd love to come back!

The bruschetta was fresh and very tasty. Personally, the spaghetti marinara was a little overcooked for me, but the sauce itself was excellent and delicious. The tiramisu at the end was a fresh and successful end to a very nice Sunday lunch. The service was very courteous and friendly. So I'd love to come back.

I ordered a tiramisu: in the menu 6.50 in the bill 8 euros 1:30 hours waited for the food 🥴 really abnormal .vitello tonnato 14.50 in such foil .Vito was better .2 pizza, tiramisu, vitello tonnato 46.50

You would think that Italians would know how to make pizza. Unfortunately not in this restaurant. Pasta is also not the chef's forte. All in all, a waste of money

5+ Sterne Super essen in Service toller Fisch & feinste Getränke

Ich habe noch nie so gute Ravioli ai porcini gegessen. Das Ambiente ist auch im November sehr schön und die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, besonders die junge Dame. Mein Mann ist gehbehindert und wir durften ausnahmsweise im Innenhof parken, für den man uns den Absperrpfosten aufschloss. Vielen Dank dafür, es war ein gelungener Abend!

My wife and I ate here in late October 2023. At night it was a little hard to find, but it was well worth it. The food, price, and hospitality of the owners created a nice night for us. All of our courses were very tasty. As we left, the owners mentioned the gondola rides they offer. We scheduled a ride for two days later, which was a great way to see part of Leipzig. Even on a cool day in October, it was beautiful, calm, and comfortable. I highly recommend the restaurant and, if you have time, a gondola ride. Thanks for showing us such a nice time.

Heute zu Gast im schönen Leipzig und dann in so einem tollen geführten Restaurant zu Gast gewesen. Leider kann man nur 5 Sterne verteilen.. Absolut empfehlenswert, besonders Vito (Chefkoch) seine gegrillte Fischplatte mit Rosmarin Kartoffeln. Der Service ist super nett und zuvorkommend. Einfach nur ein gelungener Ausflug. Immer wieder gerne!!!

Wir reisen mit unserem Besuch aus Californien dort hin um etwas schönes bieten zu können. Venediggondel und danach italienisch zu Speisen. Es war alles sehr schön. Wir saßen draußen direkt an der weißen Elster. Dann kam die Rechnung. Wir bezahlten. Zu Hause stellten wir fest das die Godelfahrt 98 Euro zuzüglich 19% MWSt. berechnet wurde. Auf der Website stehen nur die 98,00 Euro. Das finden wir nicht in Ordnung. Leider dadurch keine Weiterempfehlung. Schade..

Ein wirklich einzigstes Restaurant mit Blick auf „Klein Venedig“. Das Ambiente im Restaurant ist schön, der Außenbereich ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Die Bestuhlung ist sehr bequem, sodass man gut im Außenbereich sitzen kann. Die Speisekarte ist nicht zu umfangreich, biete aber alles was das Herz begehrt. Zum Erlebnis wird der Abend Dank des freundlichen Serviceteams und Dank des Chefs. Ein echter Sizilianer mit dem Herz am rechten Fleck. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und hatten einen schönen Abend.

Wunderschöner Freisitz am Wasser. Ich fand das Ambiente ganz toll. Ich habe die Pasta mit Pfifferlingen (Saisonkarte) gegessen. Es war lecker, reichlich und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Wir waren im Rahmen eines Teamdinners zum Abendessen dort. Gemütliches Ambiente, wirklich freundlicher Service und das Essen hat auch toll geschmeckt. Absolut empfehlenswert! :)

Am Samstag mittag problemlos ein Tisch am Wasser bekommen. Freundliches Personal. Essen kommt zügig. Alle Speisen und Vorspeisen haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für den Standort wirklich top. Ich kann nichts negatives finden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
