Former Russian restaurant? It's a shame that you have to hide your identity. Food was delicious, beer so-so, friendly staff, ambience was too loud for me personally. Highly recommended if you like Russian cuisine. It cannot be clarified whether the Kiev schnitzel was actually a Moscow schnitzel. Good luck with the new concept. Maybe the time will come again when you don't have to be ashamed of your origins.

**Fantastic restaurant with outstanding service!** We went to the Biermännchen Restaurant for lunch today and are absolutely thrilled. The food was excellent, delicious and very tasteful. But what really made this lunch memorable for us was the excellent service. The guys were incredibly friendly, attentive and always available without seeming intrusive. They were charming and professional and even took the time to listen to my father who really wanted to get rid of Old Russian Camels :). We felt really welcome.

The food was very good, extensive cuisine, including unusual dishes from Eastern Europe. We'll be back.

Former Russian restaurant. It's probably no longer called that, but the menu still says so. Very tasty and originally prepared. The service was extremely friendly and took care of everything. Unfortunately, a meal with mushrooms was a bit cold and had to be warmed up, hence one star less. If you're interested in originality and appreciate Russian cuisine, this is the place for you. 👍

We were at Skaska today. We thought. Why is it called the Beer Man now? Food & Drinks? It's so common and more reminiscent of Ballermann. Service was very friendly, food was delicious as always. But somehow something is missing. Map partially changed, no longer typically Russian. Also Greek, German, etc. It's a shame, unnecessary and therefore unfortunately dispensable.

We became aware of this restaurant through “My Local, Your Local” and are thrilled with it. It is very cozy and traditionally furnished. There is a good selection of original Russian dishes at a fair price. We had the blinis stuffed with minced meat as a starter and the pelmeni as a main course. We particularly liked the fact that you can choose between different ways of preparing the pelmeni (boiled or fried) and the filling and topping (e.g. garlic or chili paste). At the end there was a schnapps on the house. The staff was really very friendly and concerned about our well-being. When we are in Leipzig again, we will definitely come by again.

So I was really skeptical when it came to going to a Russian restaurant, but I'm absolutely thrilled. The food was incredibly tasty, we ordered way too much but we just couldn't resist. The service is really great, very friendly and what I don't want to ignore is that each of us got four free vodka. At the end there is of course the price and for four people who ordered for 6 the costs are completely okay. Conclusion, we are very happy to come back.

Das Skaska ist ein einzigartiger Ort, um in die osteuropäische Küche eintauchen zu können. Sowohl die Auswahl an Speisen, als auch die Qualität des Essen sind hervorragend. Möchte man herzhaft und deftig essen gehen, so ist das Skaska die beste Wahl. Auch für Vegetarier und Veganer gibt es eine Vielzahl an Angeboten und mehrere Kindergerichte stehen zur Auswahl. Besonders erwähnenswert ist jedoch der Service, denn unser Kellner war nicht nur überaus freundlich, sondern auch sehr zuvorkommend. Alles in Allem eine super Erfahrung. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

In diesem Jahr waren wir für unser familiäres Weihnachtsessen im Skaska. Wie immer waren alle Speisen frisch, sehr schmackhaft und pünktlich für alle fertig. Meiner 15jährigen Nichte fielen besonders die smarten Jungs von der Bedienung auf 😏 Der Service und die Freundlichkeit im Skaska suchen ihresgleichen hier in der Umgebung! I was here for dinner with some friends. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were warmly greeted and shown to a free table. The menu really has a large selection of different types of food. However, I can't judge whether these were typical Russian dishes or not. However, the original Russian beer on tap was my personal highlight. It tasted excellent! The ambience is okay and simply furnished. Everything was very clean. We enjoyed the food. Only one of my friends had anything to complain about. But that was probably more of a personal expectation that wasn't completely fulfilled. I'd like to come back when I get the chance and try out the rest of the menu.
