We stayed overnight in Idstein and ate at La Fotoria. The pizza was delicious and the staff was very friendly. We would love to come back when we are in Idstein.

Great pizza and great cannolis.

Great service, great food and a great atmosphere. The wine was great, ended with a good dessert selection. Definitely a great time.

We were there twice. Once four, another time six. Every time everyone at the table was thrilled with the food. The price is on the higher end, but it's definitely worth it.

It's bad that we can't prepare a salad well anymore (full of mayonnaise, burnt onions, dry chicken) so it's an insult to put something like that on your plate. Service is good. But not worth the visit. 👎

The pizza dough is tasty even though there isn't much toppings. The order was taken quickly and the food was delivered quickly. The service was quite unpleasant and toxic. We didn't feel like ordering dessert and coffee anymore, we wanted to leave as quickly as possible. The restaurant itself is nice.

The outdoor restaurant is simple and clear, The order was taken quickly by the staff, but we were denied dishes because we were only a little hungry (children's meals), rarely experienced something like that The staff also came across as very snooty. The food tastes great and the price is justified for a pizza.

Although we only entered the restaurant after 21⁰⁰ as the "last guests" and only ordered a little, we were warmly welcomed and the salad and pizza were served quickly. We'd love to come back.

It's nice to sit outside, the food leaves a lot to be desired. The salad was tired, the mango was rock hard, but it was a real shame that the pasta didn't use a good tomato sauce. Still, a place where you can eat, and the standard dishes are fairly priced

We were at La Fattoria yesterday. We enjoyed our meal very much in the romantic ambience of the restaurant. We had delicious bruschetta's as a starter and super tasty pasta dishes. We were very impressed with the food and the friendly service.

Easily reachable by telephone and a short-term reservation was also possible. The ambience of the restaurant, which was at most half full when we visited, is a bit dated. The service was friendly, but sometimes took a long time. At some points I felt like maintaining contact with regulars was a priority, which I don't think should be the case. I have gotten the starter (antipasti plate) for the price, around 15 euros, more refined and also more aromatic in other Italian restaurants. The main course (two kinds of fish) was good to very good in terms of cooking, but the taste was not a revelation for the price asked, especially since I had bones in the fish fillet. Some of the potatoes were not yet cooked. In short: I've gotten something comparable for significantly cheaper, or with significantly more taste and sophistication for a comparable price. The dessert forgave me a bit. The wine with the meal was also ok. The prices on the wine list are still reasonable. In my opinion, you want to be in the upper third when it comes to wine, while the food is more in the lower and middle price segment. The portions could have been a little larger. All in all, it was probably my first and last visit. Even if you have little competition locally, you should still keep the quality high. For me personally, this doesn't seem to be entirely successful here.

Delicious Italian cuisine, good portions and friendly service. If the weather is good you can also sit outside in the pedestrian zone.

Definitely a good restaurant. But we just wanted to eat pizza after an event. This was obviously not desired and was expressed without words. It's a shame, if pizza is below their standard, maybe it shouldn't be on the menu?

I was invited here as part of a celebration. I like pasta al dente. However, my Spaghetti alla Trapanese was still VERY hearty and tasteless. Unfortunately, very thick spaghetti is used in the kitchen here. Mixed starter platter contained fridge-cold tomatoes - also very tasteless. During our stay, the boss sat at a guest table almost continuously, the junior should curb his arrogance and now a general recommendation from me: Don't argue with guests!

We were there for a birthday and felt very welcome. Thank you for the warm hospitality, the great food. We will come back.

Very nice Italian restaurant in the middle of the city. Very extensive map. Our order was taken quickly. Drinks came immediately and food (pizza and pasta) was also served quite quickly. Quite good in terms of taste and appearance. Overall service could be a bit more hospitable. Price is completely ok for the service provided.

Actually a nice restaurant with a great ambience. On our first visit we were treated excellently by the senior manager. First-class food..great service! Our last visit was beyond bad. After 1.5 hours of waiting (neighbouring tables that had arrived after us had already eaten) we asked in a friendly manner and were fobbed off by the junior manager in a very arrogant and arrogant manner with the answer: "The food is ready when it is ready"! The resulting discussion resulted in a more than bad meal being served 10 minutes later... No more requests for drinks etc... We should have left the restaurant beforehand... IT'S A PATH FOR THE 60KM TRAVEL.

Eigentlich ein schönes Restaurant mit tollem Ambiente. Bei unserem ersten Besuch wurden wir vom Seniorchef hervorragend bewirtet.Erstklassiges Essen..toller Service! Unser letzter Besuch war mehr als schlecht. Nach 1,5 Stunden Wartezeit (Nachbartische die nach uns gekommen waren , haben schon gegessen) haben wir freundlich nachgefragt und wurden vom Juniorchef sehr überheblich arrogant abgespeist mit der Antwort "Das Essen ist fertig wenn es fertig ist"! Die daraus resultierende Diskussion hatte zur Folge, das 10 Minuten später ein mehr als schlechtes Essen aufgetischt wurde..... Keine Getränkeanfragen mehr etc... Wir hätten vorher das Lokal verlassen sollen.. SCHADE FÜR DIE 60KM ANREISE.

Nie wieder! Erst mal lange warten,bis mal eine Speisekarte gebracht wurde,dann 4x nachfragen,ob wir bezahlen können. Sehr unfreundliche Antwort und dann handschriftliche Rechnung(geht gar nicht!!!!) mit 20% Aufschlag! Als Entschuldigung: es ist Stadtfest,wir können froh sein,bedient zu werden.

Italienisches Ambiente, sizilianisch angehauchte Speisen. Ich hatte hausgemachte Busiate (sizilianische Spiralnudeln), geschmacklich außergewöhnlich und lecker, aber die Konsistenz der Pasta war nicht gut, noch etwas zu fest.

Nous nous y sommes arrêtés par hasard, ce fut une belle découverte. Nous avons bien mangé et le personnel était très sympa. Je recommande le duo de poisson et la pizza à la truffe 😉

Uns wurde nach kurzer Wartezeit ein Tisch im Innenbereich zugewiesen. Schönes Ambiente. Professioneller Service. Das Essen hat uns gut geschmeckt.

Wir durften heute ein 5 Sterne Essen genießen. Auf unsere Wünsche, Speisen zu mischen, wurde wie selbstverständlich eingegangen. Wir erhielten zudem eine 'Weingeschmacksprobe" von Weinen, von der der Chef annahm, sie könnten uns schmecken und am Ende gab es noch einen Überraschungsdegistif... B esser aufgehoben kann man sich als Gast kaum fühlen! Das Essen war sehr ansprechend angerichtet und lecker. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend!

Das La Fattoria wird den nach außen kommunizierten Erwartungen leider nicht gerecht! Die Speisekarte ruft Preise auf, für die ich insgesamt ein besseres Paket an Ambiente, Freundlichkeit und Qualität erwarte. Die Plastiktische werden dem nicht gerecht, die leicht unmotiviert-arrogant wirkende Art der Servicekraft ebenfalls nicht. Und das Essen war lecker - aber für das Gesamtpaket einfach zu teuer.

Es war fantastisch. Wir sind auf der Durchreise hier gelandet. Der Service war top und das Essen hervorragend. Es war toll so eine gute Gastronomie, wiedermal erleben zu dürfen. Dem Team alles Gute.

Wir kamen aus Niedersachsen gegen 15.00 beim La Fattoria an, ohne zu wissen, dass dort die Mittagspause anstand. Wir bekamen ohne Umschweife die Karte gereicht und durften bestellen. Auf Meeresfrüchte, Pizza und Pasta fiel die Wahl. Pizza Dahlin mit perfektem Boden und einem Geschmack zum Abheben. Pasta mit Tomatensoße und Basilikum. Unsere Tochter hätte fast den Teller abgeleckt. Die Calamaretti waren super zart und geschmacklich perfekt. Aber das ist ja Alles Geschmackssache. Speisekarte hat einen guten Umfang und preislich in einem vernünftigen Rahmen. Service sehr gut und extrem aufmerksam. Es waren auch viele italienische Gäste dabei, was meiner Meinung nach immer von der Qualität und Authentizität eines Restaurants zeugt. Wenn wir Idstein noch einmal besuchen, werden wir bestimmt wieder dort einkehren.

This Italian restaurant is the real deal, as evidenced by the Italian owner. We sat outside but the decor inside looked lovely and the service was excellent. We enjoyed the pasta dishes and octopus. The fettuccine with mushrooms seemed a bit light on the mushroom but the noodles were cooked al dente; to perfection. The tomato sauce with the octopus and potatoes was excellent.

Das war mal nichts Die Essen waren mittelmässig. Die hausgemachte Limonade war äusserst sauer. Das Lammragout zu den Nudeln faserig. Auch der Nachtisch (Olivenöleis) konnte es nicht rausreißen. Dafür war der Preis eher zu hoch. Keine Ahnung wo die guten Bewertungen herkommen.

Sympathisches italienisches Ristorante, mit ebenso sympathischem Inhaber. Vitello Tonnato und Mozzarella Buffala schmeckte ausgezeichnet.

Die Antipasti nur aus besten Zutaten. Der Büffelmozarella ein Genuss. Die Oberginenscheiben schmackhaft gegrillt und das Vitello tonnato typisch italienisch lecker.

Wunderbares Restaurant in bester Lage. Die Speisen sind erstklassig. Sehr gute, schnelle, freundliche und professionelle Bedienung. Man fühlt sich hier richtig wohl und kann einfach nur genießen.

Sehr leckeres italienisches Essen, sehr authentisch, es gibt auch regionale Spezialitäten, die man sonst so nicht bekommt. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und sehr freundlich.

Klassisch italienisches Restaurant. Sehr netter Familienbetrieb. Das Essen war vorzüglich und originell. Die Roulade gefüllt mit Feige und Cranberries! Ausgefallen und gut auch das Olivenöl Eis mit Salbei und Salzkristallen. ! Der Koch versteht sein Handwerk und liebt sein Handwerk!

Ein schöner gelungener Abend Das Essen war top man kann der Bedienung einfach nur großes Lob geben. Dazu noch danke 🤩 an die Mama im Hause Ihre herzliche Art ist unvergleichbar!
