Great Italian restaurant! Warm, hospitable, courteous, and attentive. A thoroughly enjoyable day after our children's exciting first day of school. Highly recommended. The salt mbocca is a dream! The pasta is to die for. The kids even loved the homemade children's pizza with specially shaped bunny ears. It's definitely worth a visit again!

Hello, I'd like to give this 0 stars, but unfortunately I can't. The staff was very bad. You travel a long way and are treated very poorly. Everyone else who came after you was first, and we were given extra attention. You don't have to put up with that. I'll never go there again.

The following situation: We weren't that hungry, so I asked for a children's pizza. The server told me he wouldn't be able to get it through. I understand, so I ordered bruschetta and a local wine. My husband ordered pasta with a beer. The next table served fish, which was apparently very good. The next table was informed about the desserts, but we weren't. I ordered a tiramisu and another local wine anyway. The next table wanted to pay and was immediately asked if they would like a grappa or something similar. We wanted to pay, but the cashier only took a short time. We put the tip on the table because the server apparently didn't have time for us. I didn't feel welcome as a guest and wanted to clarify this personally. But personal criticism isn't appropriate there. The manager said I was having a bad day and the server felt personally attacked. It's a shame, but that's not hospitality to me.

We spontaneously stopped by for lunch. The lunch menu offered a variety of delicious dishes, from inexpensive classics (like a lasagna) to more refined options. The senior manager was very friendly, and the service was generally good. We had a pleasant (outdoor) meal. Drinks (including espresso) were a bit more upscale for a quick lunch break—but a great escape! Highly recommended!

The interior is quite tasteful, although Google Maps apparently shows one of the interior images too bare, which is why the post was initially blocked. The owner plays a bit of the Italian boss who runs the place, but he's not unfriendly.

A lovely and cozy Italian restaurant in the old town, run by a friendly Sicilian family. Very good and tasty dishes, with friendly and prompt service. The prices are relatively high (e.g., an espresso costs €3), but overall, they're reasonable. A free shot of schnapps is included at the end of your meal.

Excellent restaurant with tasty dishes. Not cheap and for the price you pay, there could have been a little more asparagus and a little more shrimp in our pastas. Service is great! Nice suggestion from the waiter to serve a delicious Grappa with my espresso and after paying we received an Amara from the owner.

We have been regular guests in the beautiful restaurant Fattoria in Idstein in the pedestrian zone since 2013. We have held many beautiful larger and smaller celebrations there and even when we have visitors from outside, we go to our beloved Fattoria. We are now friends with the Montana family who own it and can only recommend the beautiful restaurant with its good, varied food and good service. Even in the summer months you can sit and dine outside. We have already booked a few fixed dates in the new year 2025 and, depending on our mood, we often spontaneously go out to eat in “our Fattoria”. Brigitte and Hartmut

It's bad that we can't prepare a salad well anymore (full of mayonnaise, burnt onions, dry chicken) so it's an insult to put something like that on your plate. Service is good. But not worth the visit. 👎

We were at La Fattoria yesterday. We enjoyed our meal very much in the romantic ambience of the restaurant. We had delicious bruschetta's as a starter and super tasty pasta dishes. We were very impressed with the food and the friendly service.

Easily reachable by telephone and a short-term reservation was also possible. The ambience of the restaurant, which was at most half full when we visited, is a bit dated. The service was friendly, but sometimes took a long time. At some points I felt like maintaining contact with regulars was a priority, which I don't think should be the case. I have gotten the starter (antipasti plate) for the price, around 15 euros, more refined and also more aromatic in other Italian restaurants. The main course (two kinds of fish) was good to very good in terms of cooking, but the taste was not a revelation for the price asked, especially since I had bones in the fish fillet. Some of the potatoes were not yet cooked. In short: I've gotten something comparable for significantly cheaper, or with significantly more taste and sophistication for a comparable price. The dessert forgave me a bit. The wine with the meal was also ok. The prices on the wine list are still reasonable. In my opinion, you want to be in the upper third when it comes to wine, while the food is more in the lower and middle price segment. The portions could have been a little larger. All in all, it was probably my first and last visit. Even if you have little competition locally, you should still keep the quality high. For me personally, this doesn't seem to be entirely successful here.

I was invited here as part of a celebration. I like pasta al dente. However, my Spaghetti alla Trapanese was still VERY hearty and tasteless. Unfortunately, very thick spaghetti is used in the kitchen here. Mixed starter platter contained fridge-cold tomatoes - also very tasteless. During our stay, the boss sat at a guest table almost continuously, the junior should curb his arrogance and now a general recommendation from me: Don't argue with guests!

We were there for a birthday and felt very welcome. Thank you for the warm hospitality, the great food. We will come back.

Actually a nice restaurant with a great ambience. On our first visit we were treated excellently by the senior manager. First-class food..great service! Our last visit was beyond bad. After 1.5 hours of waiting (neighbouring tables that had arrived after us had already eaten) we asked in a friendly manner and were fobbed off by the junior manager in a very arrogant and arrogant manner with the answer: "The food is ready when it is ready"! The resulting discussion resulted in a more than bad meal being served 10 minutes later... No more requests for drinks etc... We should have left the restaurant beforehand... IT'S A PATH FOR THE 60KM TRAVEL.

Nach 1,5 Stunden Wartezeit (Nachbartische die nach uns gekommen waren , haben schon gegessen) haben wir freundlich nachgefragt und wurden vom Juniorchef sehr überheblich arrogant abgespeist mit der Antwort "Das Essen ist fertig wenn es fertig ist"! Die daraus resultierende Diskussion hatte zur Folge, das 10 Minuten später ein mehr als schlechtes Essen aufgetischt wurde..... Keine Getränkeanfragen mehr etc... Wir hätten vorher das Lokal verlassen sollen.. SCHADE FÜR DIE 60KM ANREISE.

Italienisches Ambiente, sizilianisch angehauchte Speisen. Ich hatte hausgemachte Busiate (sizilianische Spiralnudeln), geschmacklich außergewöhnlich und lecker, aber die Konsistenz der Pasta war nicht gut, noch etwas zu fest.

Nous nous y sommes arrêtés par hasard, ce fut une belle découverte. Nous avons bien mangé et le personnel était très sympa. Je recommande le duo de poisson et la pizza à la truffe 😉
