We came here on a whim. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to get a table for the two of us without a reservation. The food was delicious and of very high quality. We had the pasta with avocado and the gnocchi. Both were completely homemade.

We came here spontaneously, and getting a table for two wasn't a problem. The tables are very close together, so you have to be lucky with your neighbors. The pasta was delicious and seemed to be homemade. With bread and aioli as a starter and a drink each, the two of us paid just over €60, but we would definitely come back. Thanks for a lovely and delicious evening! 😊

The owner seemed very annoyed. The place was very chaotic. The staff were constantly running around. It was all very unpleasant. Then they made the wrong order, so we couldn't even eat together. Never again!!

We were just there and everything was perfect 😀 The mixed salad was very fresh and beautifully presented with a perfect balsamic dressing. The spaghetti Bolognese and spaghetti scampi were also delicious, and the vegetarian pizza with lots of fresh vegetables was fantastic! The place is cozy, and the service is extremely friendly and attentive. The lunch menu is great; the pizza and spaghetti Bolognese are both €9.50. The value for money is absolutely spot on. Well, the restrooms could use a makeover, but I don't eat down there anyway. We're so glad we found this restaurant! We'd gladly come back anytime; highly recommended!

Great restaurant in the Portuguese Quarter! Located on a side street, it's a more relaxed place to sit outside in the summer. The pizza is simply the best in the neighborhood, and the lovely team around Vanja and Carlo puts a lot of effort into the other dishes as well. I love coming here and enjoy being with you. Super delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere.

Amazing pizza, I've been really impressed for the first time in a long time! We stopped by spontaneously and got a takeaway pizza, as it wasn't quite clear how long we could stay with a baby. We still enjoyed the pizza there from the box, no problem at all. And the little one got a cucumber and carrot to suck on on the house. Everyone was super nice. When we're back in Hamburg, we'll definitely be there for dinner.

We ordered the daily special of seafood with tomato sauce and tagliatelle, and the pasta with shrimp and fiery tomato sauce. Both dishes were truly delicious and perfectly seasoned. Both of us eat very well, but the food was bordering on over-salted. Service was very fast. However, the manager seemed to have little enthusiasm for his job that day. Card payments were only accepted with a grumble, as cash would probably be better for business... The restrooms are a bit of an insult. They definitely need a complete renovation!

I went there specifically because of the many positive reviews and was shocked to discover that the pasta was completely tasteless. Even if I tried to recreate it in the kitchen, I would never be able to achieve it that way. With a lot of extra Parmesan and salt, it tasted tolerable. Apart from that, the order took a good 35 minutes to prepare. The pizza was a pleasant surprise. Otherwise, it was very loud, the tables were very small, and the waitresses weren't interested in anything and even forgot the cheese. What a shame.

Despite being much early, we were warmly welcomed and seated. We had a mixed starter plate and spaghetti with truffle and cream sauce. Everything was delicious. Excellent and friendly service. Excellent value for money. The ambiance was also pleasant. Located in the Portuguese Quarter, a 3.6-minute walk from the harbor.

A very cozy place to enjoy a glass or two of wine in the afternoon. The lunch menu is quite appealing, and the dishes are quite well prepared.

The food was really, really delicious – by far the best pasta I've ever eaten. The fish and vegetables were also perfect. The food arrived super quickly, and the waiters were more than just friendly. But (!) two stars deducted! We were asked in advance if we wanted bread. We said yes. A nicely arranged plate with bread, olives, and aioli (which was also very tasty, by the way) arrived, but we were also charged €10 for it. I found that extremely annoying and cheeky. They assume it's a courtesy of the house and not an exorbitant €10. That was disappointing.

We're at a loss as to where the good reviews come from: the service was mediocre at best; the food was rather low-standard in terms of quality, taste, and appearance, but the price was far too high.

We stumbled upon this "Italian" restaurant because it was Saturday night and there weren't many choices. We saw a free table and swooped in. In my opinion, there aren't any real Italians (not in the dining room, for sure, but probably not in the kitchen either). We ordered two fillets (the rump was finished!), cooked and served in a rather banal manner (overcooked, to boot, they didn't even ask us how well they were cooked) with two vegetables on the side (over €35 for 200g) and a half liter of house red wine (€18!). The meat was good, but unfortunately, in our four days in Hamburg, it was the worst value dinner we've had. The pizzas looked good, but the selection is very limited (there's not even a Margherita, for example...) and the prices are quite high.

We went there twice for lunch. We had good pizza and excellent service, and received free bread with garlic cream. In the evening, there was no bread, and the dishes were about €10 more expensive! The service in the evening was not recommended; they even asked for a tip when paying by card. I usually tip in cash after paying with a card. Other tables received a free shot, but we didn't. It's a shame to be so disappointed after two good visits.

Pasta with chanterelles and green asparagus in a wine sauce was okay (not much flavor, felt like there was no wine). Service was often sluggish, rarely friendly, but reasonably fast. There are plenty of alternatives.

I wouldn't go there again. The waiters weren't friendly at all and wore very long expressions. The food was average, but way too expensive. The atmosphere was quite nice. We wouldn't recommend it.

The food was soooo delicious!!! So were the owners. If it weren't so far away, we'd definitely eat there more often.

Special requests were addressed promptly and with advice, and drink preferences were regularly checked. The food arrived promptly and was delicious and of high quality, from the appetizer to the main course and dessert. A fantastic experience and highly recommended!

Overall, everything is okay, but nothing outstanding. The restaurant is located in a very nice neighborhood, which naturally also means a good atmosphere. The quality of the octopus, sea bream, and salmon tartare is okay. However, the preparation is a bit simple and lacks any special seasoning. If you like it plain, it's okay. Price-wise, it's certainly no longer an insider tip. The octopus is around €35, the tartare €15, and pizzas start at €14. Overall, everything is okay, but no longer a 4.7, as might have been justified a few years ago.

To all vegans: despite vegan options on the menu, neither the waiters nor the chef seem to have any idea what that means (unfortunately, this isn't the first restaurant). Despite clearly stating that my dish should be vegan and specifically asking the waiter, I ended up with cheese on my spaghetti again. For these prices, one should expect more background information. A request to restaurant management: please educate your staff that vegan options must be absolutely free of animal ingredients (no exceptions!), or alternatively, remove your options from the menu. List it as a vegetarian option, and everything will be fine. Thank you very much!

The pizza was very thin and mediocre in flavor. The salad was small. The fact that you don't get bread with butter, for example, beforehand, but have to order it separately... The service was okay, but they were also glad we didn't hold up the table any longer. Everything was more functional than cordial. We won't go there again. I've received four defamation complaints within 12 months. I've challenged them each time and won. Most recently, twice within 10 days. Google can't seem to answer why.

Food top, service pushy and overwhelmed

I wanted to reserve a table. First, I tried using the contact form on the website: no response! Then, two days later, I sent an email: no response! Yesterday, I tried by phone. They asked me to call again at 9:00 PM. The first attempt was at 9:10 PM: no one answered. After that, I tried every 15 minutes until 10:00 PM: no response!

I liked the atmosphere and the outside seating. The pizza was good but 18€ was a little steep. I know they can basically charge what they want in the area cause it’s very touristic but still. The waiter seemed a little unfriendly at first not looking at us and talking very harsh. He warmed up a little after a while. Anyways prob a good Italian option between all the Portuguese restaurants!

Tourist trap!! Very very poor quality food. We had pizza, prawns and pasta carbonara. Pizza was soggy, pasta was just with oil and not creamy - no taste, prawns only tasted of alcohol since they needed to make a fire show. And it was not even cheap. Service was alright, but not good.

Dinner was excellent. We sat outside at tables, there was plenty of space. The appetizers, octopus and salmon, were delicious, and the quantity was also pleasing. Pleasant and helpful waiters recommended dishes according to our request and preferences.

Basically a good Italian but with some flaws. Even without a reservation, you can easily get a table, whether inside or outside in the beautiful atmosphere. The bruschetta was forgotten, didn't come fresh and the food took a long time. The many good reviews are because you get free limoncello in exchange for 5 star reviews... a shame
