It felt like sitting in a living room in Italy. We loved it so much, and the service was incredibly good. It was so warm and cozy! 😍

The burrata appetizer, the tiramisu, the pasta rimanse, and the pasta with truffle sauce were all cooked to perfection. The atmosphere in the restaurant is reminiscent of small, family-run Italian restaurants, where a relative or neighbor might just drop by. Simply wonderful.

I was quite disappointed with my visit to this Italian restaurant. The food was okay, but average at best – nothing special. What was truly shocking, however, was that a cockroach crawled across the table during my visit. That's completely unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the hygiene. Furthermore, there was no wine selection whatsoever, which is really unusual for an Italian restaurant. The menu was only available electronically (via QR code), which isn't for everyone, and payment was only accepted in cash – also inconvenient. Overall, I would not recommend it.

Very cute shop, attentive and friendly service. I had the Bistecca di manzo alla Toskana. At first glance, the price seemed very attractive, but the quality was simply poor. I haven't had so much fiber and fat on or in a piece of meat 🥩 in a very long time, and it was incredibly flabby for being ordered "medium". Nevertheless, I would go again, but next time I would try the pasta 🍝.

Delicious pasta, all with fresh vegetables, perfectly seasoned, and we had bruschetta as a starter! Warm and friendly service. A tiny trattoria in the heart of St. Pauli, excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back! 😇

For 10 years, Andrea and her family have delighted me with their varied antipasti platters and pasta dishes. Whether it's lunch or dinner, the atmosphere is always special and intimate! Whether it's a children's cappuccino or salmon in saffron sauce, it's always great. It's the smallest and most charming restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine. We've even customized menus for large groups for special events at a great price.

A small, unassuming restaurant. We just wanted a quick bite to eat before the train ride and were treated to a beautifully presented bruschetta starter, delicious pasta, and a small dessert to finish, all at a remarkably reasonable price. I've rarely had such good pasta. The restaurant only accepts cash, and the Edeka supermarket a few meters away has an ATM, so the trip is definitely worth it.

I highly recommend this trattoria 🥰 We received a warm welcome and the food was fantastic!!!!!!! It's a shame we were only in Hamburg for a short time; I would eat there again anytime. Once again, a big thank you to the owners for the great food and the pleasant stay.

Spectacular food and service at this Italian-run restaurant. I don't know if the owner served us, but it seemed that way to me, and I must say she treated us brilliantly. We went there several times during our stay in Hamburg, and everything we tried was delicious, including the desserts and coffee. Very good value. I'll return every time I return to the city. Everything was very small, and the menu was manageable. However, what the four of us ordered was of the highest quality and tasted truly fantastic. The service was very friendly, and the price was simply unbeatable. However, I would always reserve a table in advance.

We went to this restaurant for dinner because it was not far from our hotel. We generally liked the advertised menu. It was a real surprise. A plate of fish with giant tomato is exquisite. A real goodness. A generous portion and presented very well also in the arrangement. Delicate and at the same time tasty taste. Fresh giant fish enriched with other fish such as crustaceans and similar. A real goodness. I took a simpler dish with mozzarella, tomato, salad etc. This too, in its simplicity, is very good. The restaurant is run by a family of Apulian origin who moved to Hamburg many years ago. Friendly and helpful. The girl who served us was kind and smiling. The really good cook is the father. The place is not very large but despite not being very demanding it is welcoming and makes you feel "at home". We will stay in Hamburg for a few more days and have already decided to return. I haven't eaten fish this good in years. Compliments!

I live around the corner and have now used lunchtime as it is otherwise very fully booked, especially if you are looking at short notice. I thought it was great, authentic, I really enjoyed the pasta ala Bolognese, the ristrettos were as short as German patience and therefore excellent. The Negroni at the end of the lunch encouraged me to enjoy bella vita in Hamburg's midday sun at the beginning of March. Go, it's more than worth it. Thank you.

Great Italian restaurant with a very good lunch menu (starter, main course, dessert). Every dish so far has been great and the service is always friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, this year we found ourselves standing in front of the closed door a few times during regular opening hours.

The first time I was there with my family, we were enchanted by the intimate and welcoming atmosphere, a true refuge from the chaos of the city. During a subsequent trip with friends, we couldn't resist the temptation to return to Alberto, the heart and soul of the restaurant. Its cuisine, inspired by the Apulian tradition, is an explosion of authentic and genuine flavours, prepared with top quality ingredients. Every dish he served us was a true work of art, made with skill and a lot of love for cooking. Alberto not only delighted us with his delicacies, but welcomed us with a warm smile and rare kindness, making us feel at home. The restaurant, although small, is carefully furnished and also offers pleasant tables outside, perfect for enjoying a quiet evening. Trattoria 500 is undoubtedly a place that I recommend to anyone who wants to taste real Italian cuisine in Hamburg. Apulia in the middle of Hamburg I have been a guest at Trattoria 500 for more than ten years now, and after just a few visits it became my second living room. The always delicious food and the family atmosphere in the small restaurant on Paul-Rosen-Straße, which is mainly visited by neighbors from the district, contributed to this. Responsible for the authentic overall experience in the trattoria is the lovely host family from Bari with dad Alberto in the kitchen, daughter Philomena and (until recently) son Christiano in the service, supported by Philomena's husband Michelangelo and various other employees in service and kitchen. Thank you all very much for the many wonderful hours at Trattoria 500!

Super nice and rustic Italian on St.Pauli! Always happy again!

There were two of us here and we had great food. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a small restaurant in a small Italian village. However, it is a very small restaurant and that bothered me a bit. I was there a few years ago, but we decided differently back then, and there weren't that many tables "squeezed in" there back then. The menu is given to you using a QR code, which on the one hand I think is pretty cool, but on the other hand it doesn't really fit with the ambience. In addition, people will then have their cell phones in their hands even more. The selection on the menu isn't particularly large, which is a shame, but understandable given the small size of the restaurant and the resulting small kitchen. What bothered me the most and what I always find very suspicious is the fact that you CANNOT pay by card. We had to go to an ATM again and withdraw cash, which was a bit annoying. Even a Billo kiosk in a subway station accepts cards for small amounts, so why not this restaurant?! When I think of something like that, I always think of money laundering and stuff like that...

Very friendly and authentic service. The menu changes regularly and the antipasti and our main courses were very good. Recommendation to reserve as the restaurant is relatively small (you can also sit outside in summer).

Whoever doesn't want to travel to Italy to try authentic Italian food has to come here. The food is very good. Italian family business with a lot of love in everything they do. They have the best waitress in the world. Extra tip, the potato tiramisu.

For lunch or dinner... you eat in Italy. The family of the small trattoria - dad, daughter, son - recognize you on your second visit and greet you as if you had been here for a long time. Needless to say, the cooking here is truly Italian. A visit is always fun, we'll be back.

Parmesan is life and this restaurant understands that. First, however, we had to wait 5-10 minutes in the pouring rain despite having a reservation, even though we had been told that re-setting the table would not be a problem for us. The truffle pasta was rich in different types of mushrooms, but a bit watery. The gnocchi in tomato sauce had little taste of its own, but the meat dish was very convincing. Drinks are convincing and the atmosphere is always exuberant. Thank you very much for the free Francelico bottle!!!🥰

Very nice, small restaurant with a small, fine menu. Top pasta dishes. Our antipasti platter offered everything from starters! Service nice and accommodating. Reservations are highly recommended as there are only about 30 seats in the restaurant. Thanks for the evening!
