Es war super lecker! Die Servicekräfte haben einen super Job gemacht! ☺️

Wir waren um 21h im Il Cavallo Aufgrund des warmen schönen Sommerabends noch sehr ausgebucht. Wunderschönes Ambiente mit Traumhaften Blick auf den Chiemsee. Wir wollten nur noch eine Kleinigkeit essen. Der Vorspeisenteller war üppig, dennoch etwas lieblos im Vergleich vor 6 Wochen. Auch der Sommersalat mit Melone (2 riesige Scheiben) oben drauf, da ist noch Luft nach oben ! Service war top:-)

Alles war ausgezeichnet, das Essen kam schnell, die Angestellten waren freundlich zu den Kunden und das Essen war gut.

Das beste Restaurant weit und breit. Die Vorspeisen waren fast schon zu viel. Es könnte etwas mehr Personal geben, aber es ist das Geld auf jeden Fall wert. Reservieren Sie unbedingt vorher, da alle Tische schnell ausgebucht sind.

Ein traumhafter Frühlingsabend auf der Terrasse bei perfektem Service und hervorragenden Essen.

Der Pizzaboden finden wir zu weich und der Pizzarand kennen wir von Ihren Kollegen krosser und größer. Die Salat und die Kalbslegen waren Spitze. Der Wein ebenso ausgezeichnet.

WOW!! Das war die wahrscheinlich beste Pizza die ich seit langem gegessen habe! Das Personal ist total freundlich und der Ausbilck auf den Chiemsee wunderschön!! Am besten reservieren, es ist schon ordentlich was los. Also kann ich wirklich nur empfehlen. 10/10

Sehr zu empfehlen, kamen ohne Reservierung, wurden freundlich empfangen. Bei ausgezeichnetem Service und Essen verbrachten wir eine schöne Zeit, das tolle Ambiente der Reithalle macht den Besuch zu einem kleinen Erlebnis. Dankeschön weiter so.....

Essen gut! Service richtig schlecht. Essen kam nicht gleichzeitig. Keine Entschuldigung. Zum Salat kein Essig/ Öl/ Salz/ Pfeffer. Wurde blöd angeredet, als ich meine Pizza nachsalzen wollte. Keine Nachfrage, keine Beachtung! Hätten gerne noch Nachtisch und Kaffee bestellt, war nicht möglich. Wir wurden an die Bar gesetzt, dabei waren die ganze Zeit noch Tische frei. Dabei machen sie auf gehobenes Restaurant! Weiß noch nicht , ob wir wiederkommen werden. Sehr schade!

Super Essen und toller Service! Wirklich ein gelungener Abend

Es war wie immer sehr gutes Essen und das Personal sehr höflich und kompetent. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir gehen gerne ins Cavallo, das Essen ist hervorragend, die Baby Calamare liebe ich und dazu einen schönen Chardonnay....im Sommer hat dieser 0,25... 6 Euro gekostet und jetzt ein paar Monate später 0,2.... 11 Euro!!!! Also daß ist schon eine heftige Preiserhöhung. Ich habe dann noch auf der Website geschaut, da steht er noch mit dem alten Preis.

Sehr gutes Angebot, Essen sehr lecker. Gute Portion, schönes Ambiente. Alles gut, Bedienung ausgezeichnet. Kommen gerne wieder .

Ich fands lecker und die Kellner waren sehr zuvorkommend. Preislich im oberen Bereich, aber für besondere Anlässe empfehlenswert!

Essen im Innenraum… erinnert an die Tennishallen Restaurants… laut und kein Stück „ Bella Italia… Vorspeisen Teller Standard aber auch nicht mehr Salat ertränkt in fertig Sauce Fisch für 29 Euro trocken und fad Das olio et pane mit einem Öl das auch als Sonnenblumenöl raffiniert hätte durchgehen können… geschmacklos Die Krönung war die carbonara: trocken die Nudeln ohne Salz überhaupt kein Gewürz ( normalerweise Muskat) ein Berg voll Nudeln Sahne lastig Ei…. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns dieses Gericht erlassen und die Minderwertigkeit des Öls bestätigt ! Weit weit weit weg von einem italienischen Restaurant mit Genuss Garantie!!! Sehr sehr enttäuschend

Wir waren total enttäuscht. Schon lange haben wir nicht mehr sooooo schlecht gegessen. Und das in einem voll besetzten, lauten und ungemütlichen Ambiente. Der Saibling war völlig trocken und geschmacklos und das zugehörige Risotto pampig verkocht. Einziger Lichtblick war der höfliche und freundliche Kellner. Trotdem, wir werden definitiv nicht wiederkommen. Liebes Gut Ising, das ist wirklich nicht Ihrem sonstigen Standard entsprechend und dringend renovierungs- und überarbeitungsbedürftig.

Today, several of us were there for an event. Unfortunately, we were ignored by the staff behind the counter for 20 minutes while we stood at the counter, not even looked at or greeted, before we could place an order. When we asked after 10 minutes who we could place an order with, we were told to go to the back of the line. That's where we were, because no one had been in front of us, and instead of serving us, they continued to stack freshly washed glasses or served and paid other guests who had come to the counter in the meantime. Thanks to the clock next to the kitchen door, we knew how long we'd been waiting without having to look at our own watches. A gentleman behind us had specifically asked the waiter about a food order because the kitchen was about to close and was also sent to the line behind us. Even the employee at the pizza oven was told to finish, clean up, etc., before even looking at us. By the time it was our turn, and the gentleman after us, the kitchen was unfortunately closed, and ordering food was no longer possible. Then, while our drinks were being prepared, two people were gossiping about the annoying customers right in front of us. I've rarely seen anything like that!!! If stacking glasses and ignoring guests is more important than taking care of customers in a queue, something is wrong!

Ein wunderschöner Abend mit herrlichem Blick auf den Chiemsee beim Sonnenuntergang – die Location ist wirklich traumhaft! Leider wurde der Aufenthalt etwas getrübt, da mehrere Gäste ihre Hunde frei herumlaufen ließen. Besonders unangenehm, wenn der eigene Hund angeleint brav unter dem Tisch liegt und andere Vierbeiner ungehemmt herumschnüffeln – teilweise sogar in die offene Pizza-Bäckerei laufen. Schade, dass das Personal hier nicht eingeschritten ist, obwohl der freilaufende Hund offenbar bekannt war. Sonst war es wirklich ein schöner Besuch – wir würden uns wünschen, dass in Zukunft auf so etwas besser geachtet wird. Dann kommen wir gerne wieder!

Wie immer super schön tolles Ambiente und meistens voll deswegen immer Reservierung

The restaurant is attached to a 4-star hotel. This requires a reservation. We made a reservation in the restaurant in the fireplace room and it was confirmed twice. The lady who greeted us didn't care, which would have convinced us; she had enough to do outside, so she sat us outside. About 100 flies greeted us, and after 5 minutes the shady spot we wanted was completely in the sun. After 10 minutes she came back and asked for our name. Completely disorganized and stressed, she left. In the meantime, a queue of guests had formed; by hand, 27 people were waiting to be seated. The food, one salad had arugula in it, the stems of which were about 12 cm long, was absolutely inedible, and two forks were missing. The waitress who served us, a man, was very courteous and competent. Nevertheless, this restaurant is abysmal and not worthy of a 4-star hotel.

It was very nice, but the website said it was open, but when we got there, no one was there. The cookies were delicious, though!

The food was excellent, but the waiter was unfortunately quite unmotivated. We were able to sit in the garden, and the atmosphere was great.

Zum Geburtstag meines meines Mannes war der Tisch schön aufgedeckt und auch die Begrüßung sehr nett. Insgesamt eine sehr laute Geräuschkulisse und auch ein eher hektischer Ablauf. Nach der Bestellung kamen innerhalb 5 Minuten 2 Pizzen, die anderen 4 Gäste mussten warten. Auf Babycalamari, 2x gebratener Wolfsbarsch und Lachsnudeln. Man konnte dazu etwas bestellen, was wir auch taten. 3 gemischte Salate (eher ungenießbar und nicht frisch). Der Fisch sehr gut, die lachsnudeln und Pizzen gut. Nicht darauf hingewiesen wurden, dass 3 kleine gemischte Salate je mit 8 Euro zu buche schlugen. Das geht gar nicht. Schade für den schönen Ausblick.

We had dinner at Il Cavallo this evening. I ordered spaghetti carbonara and was absolutely dissatisfied. The bacon was soft and flabby, simply disgusting. The arugula salad was also anything but recommendable and had a rather unpleasant aftertaste. The waitress responded to my complaint with, "Then it will be better next time." Absolutely not recommended!!!

We had pizza, the staff was very friendly, and even though the place was full, we didn't have to wait long for our food. We go there often.

Very friendly staff, absolutely delicious food. Bruschetta, salad, and pizza were absolutely top-notch. Plus, the magnificent view over Lake Chiemsee toward the Alps. Update 09.08.25: Everything is still absolutely top-notch.

Es ist ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Leider haben sie uns im Durchgang platziert und neben dem Weinkühle, was sehr warm und hektisch war, aber das Essen ist super lecker und wir werden gerne wieder hin gehen

Restaurant located on a former farm. In summer, it offers a fantastic view of Lake Chiemsee, something you wouldn't expect from the outside. Very close to nature, with plenty of seating on the terrace. Reservations are recommended. The food and drinks are very good, and the pizzas are especially recommended.

Awesome location. The food is delicious, but not exactly traditional. I still can't believe a pizzeria doesn't have lasagna.

Food: Average Service: Below Average Lake View: Very Nice

Unfortunately, the quality of the food and service have declined significantly. The pizza was quite good, but the pasta (there were three different dishes) was very tasteless and overcooked. Drinks were forgotten several times, and the appetizer was only served after the main course. Plates weren't cleared, and even after asking twice, no dessert menu was brought. We simply looked at the menu online. We've never experienced anything like that before! When we wanted to order something, the waitress was so overwhelmed that she asked us what we should do. We then specifically asked another waiter if they were understaffed, so we might have understood, but he denied it and said they were fully staffed. This kind of service is truly incomprehensible to me and shouldn't be seen in a good restaurant. Very disappointing!

A truly highly recommended restaurant with a beautiful view of Lake Chiemsee. The pizzas are, in my opinion, among the best around. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to listen. Highly recommended.

A beautiful restaurant, especially on a warm summer evening when you can sit outside and enjoy the view of Lake Chiemsee. Delicious food at reasonable prices. The service is also very friendly, prompt, and competent (when it comes to questions about the wine, etc.). We spent a very relaxed and unforgettable evening here.

Ideal for horse lovers, the price is honestly okay, I would have expected more because horses are actually quite expensive, but for two people between 40 and 60€ for normal food and drinks, it's really okay.

Had a great time in il Cavallo. The waiters / bartenders and chefs were all so sweet and welcoming. The food was so good that i forgot to take a picture before eating. Very authentic and delicious Italian food.

Such a great view of Lake Chiemsee from the restaurant terrace. Food was A1 and the service was top. From the inside you can even admire riders training. It's just a very nice location.

The waiter Petrer was rude to us.

Peter wasn't at all peaceful with us, we wanted to order something and he immediately said "Do you pay together or separately" unless we said something...

Very unpleasant experience. We waited 45 minutes for our food. The restaurant manager was rude and arrogant. We ended up having to eat our food cold. Reordered drinks were not served. Never again.

Both pasta and pizza were exceptionally tasty. We were still sitting inside because it was a bit cool outside, but the window had a wonderful view of the sunset over Lake Chiemsee. The terrace is definitely a destination for the summer.

We had reserved a table outside on the terrace for Saturday. If the weather is nice, it's better to reserve a table. When we arrived, 3 tables were reserved and were in the shade. The extremely polite service immediately allowed us to set the table in the sun, brought high chairs for the children and, as I heard, picked up the drinks first. Advice was excellent! First we ate an Italian starter, which was beautifully presented to the eye. Tastes wonderful! For the main course we chose 4 different pizzas and shared them, one of which tasted better than the other. Italian flair on the plate! The very attentive service recommended a Lugana white wine with our meal. The price-performance ratio is well maintained, but is immediately recommended for imitation. We were very refreshed and even took some pizza home with us. At the very end there was an Italian espresso. The view of Lake Chiemsee gave the adults a wonderful view. The children watched the show jumping training and were entertained for a while. We'll be back! It was simply a completely successful stay at the Cavallo.

The food was delicious. The price-performance ratio was good. The server was friendly. Now, in winter, the walk to the restroom isn't particularly pleasant—it's extremely cold.

Quality of the food was rather low, hardly seasoned, the cook confused the oil with the vinegar in the bruscetta. The flour from the pizza dough was more like the consistency of semolina, the wine was too warm, the tiramisu was not edible, it was just sweet and had no taste Taste. There were a lot of guests with dogs in the restaurant and the little ones were constantly barking, so it was quite loud. There are many dishes to choose from, including some vegetarian and vegan. The restaurant was always full and you can't get a table without a reservation. The restaurant has around 100 seats. On one side you can look into the riding arena. There are other places in the area that try harder and have better quality.

Super Service, tolles Essen, schönes Ambiente Immer wieder gerne

Unfortunately, during my last visit here, the wine glasses on the table were heavily covered with water stains. The order was taken quickly and the pizzas came quickly. Unfortunately, my pizza with mortadella and pistachios was disappointing - there was just way too much mortadella on it. The ambience was nice as usual.

Wir hatten bezüglich eines gemütlichen Abendessen reserviert. Grund: Der Geburtstag meines Mannes. Das Lokal direkt am Ufer des Chiemsee einfach erstklassig, ebenso der Empfang. Ein gedeckter Geburtstagstisch, romantischer Kerzenschein und ein stimmungsvoller Ausblick in Richtung See. Mit was wir nicht rechneten, waren die Gäste des Lokals. Uns gegenüber ein lange Tafel, ca. 15 Frauen. Es war uns leider nicht möglich, ein Gespräch zu führen. Der blanke Hüttengaudi, eine ohrenbetäubende Lautstärke, Schreien und Lachen, welches das gesamte Lokal dominierte. Auch ein Tischwechsel brachte nicht viel. Wir sind buchstäblich aus dem Lokal geflohen. Da nützte auch der Service nichts und die Zubereitung der Speisen. Sehr, sehr schade, dass unser Abend diesen Ausgang nahm.

Direkt neben der Reithalle, so ein Zwitterlokal zwischen Edelitaliener und Reiterstüberl. Sehr netter und schneller Service. Nur wir haben beide jetzt Magenflausen nach dem Essen ☹️ Und ob das Mozarella auf meiner Pizza Diavolo war, ich weiß nicht. Denke es war ein Versuch, Schade.

Es war wirklich ein sehr schöner Abend bei euch. Das Essen war hervorragend. Wir waren die letzten Gäste, dass sollte was heißen. Bis zum nächsten Mal.

Very nice property, the pizzeria in the riding hall with a great view of Lake Chiemsee is definitely worth a visit! You can feel the hospitality right from the reception, and the impression continues with the service. A great menu and good food absolutely round off the visit. We'd love to come back!

We had dinner here with colleagues and were rather disappointed. The service, wine and food are "okay" but not really good. There are many better alternatives within a 10km radius.

Nice ambience on the terrace, average food and miserable service. The terrace is really nice in the evening. Unfortunately, we were placed very far away (even though we had explicitly stated our wish when making the reservation). The request for one of the nicer tables that was still available was denied on the grounds that service was not possible there. A little later, however, other guests were placed exactly there. To order. It took a lot of time to even place the order for the food. We had all finished our first drink by then. After another long wait, the wrong main courses were served instead of the starters ordered. Another 15 minutes later, the food we actually ordered arrived - but it was the main course. The appetizer was completely forgotten by the mushy and then annoyed waitress, who seemed to speak German far too poorly (or simply didn't want to), as well as another drink order. Nevertheless, both appeared on the bill later! This was now brought by the apparently more experienced older blonde waitress. However, she was no more polite or motivated. A word of apology or regret for the evening's many mistakes? None.
