The lasagne is a failure, tastes like cheap pizza cheese with a loveless sauce and is simply not recommended. Pizza is delicious

Bei den hohen Preisen hatte ich besseres erwartet. Die Pizza Catarina war als sehr scharf ausgezeichnet. Die Schärfe sollte durch Nduja (scharfe Paprikawurst aus Kalabrien) kommen. Leider war Nduja nur in homöopathischer Dosierung verwendet, war wohl zu teuer im Enkauf. In anderen Lokalen waren die Pizzen mit Nduja wesentlich schärfer (und preiswerter).

On our first visit the service was a disaster. Since everyone has a bad day, we decided to give the store a second chance, but this time too we were extremely disappointed with the service. The orders were taken in a confused manner and we only received the requested plates for our starter after 10 minutes. The starter was now cold. The main courses came at different times which is annoying but still acceptable. We then received the bill with a 15-20 minute delay and we were charged for dessert that we hadn't ordered. We asked for a new invoice which was again incorrect. When we were able to work with the boss to settle the correct drinks and food, he gave us change, which wasn't enough. At first he hesitated then he gave it to us because we looked at him very puzzled. The food is good, but the service is poor. The table arrangement was also very narrow, so that you were almost sitting on your neighbor's lap. The delivery service is said to be quite good. At least something.

Obwohl anfangs wenig, später außer uns gar nichts mehr los war, kam in den 2 Stunden während unseres Aufenthaltes niemand vorbei, um neue Getränke anzubieten. Hatten den Eindruck, dass man darauf wartet, dass wir dann auch gehen (ca. 19.30-21.30). Pizza hatte unten „sehr viel Röstaroma“, teils nicht essbar. Außerdem war die Bedienung schusselig, so dass es zu einer Überschwemmung am Tisch kam. In einem guten Restaurant erwarte ich dann, dass Ersatzgetränke aufs Haus gehen… war leider nicht der Fall.Es wurde alles berechnet. Außerdem finde ich es sehr dreist von Seiten der Bedienung, beim Kassieren ein Trinkgeld vorzuschlagen, mit der Begründung, das ginge mit dem EC-Cash-Gerät einfacher per Zusatztaste! Frech! Wer Trinkgeld will, sollte Service bieten. Ohne mich in Zukunft.

Culinary cuisine and a great ambience in the middle of the city. All dishes were excellently arranged - the eye eats with us :-) the service was super friendly, the boss personally also recommended the house that wasn't on the menu. It's just a shame that they didn't ask for more drinks because our table was very thirsty. So the empty glasses stood for three quarters of an hour :-/

Ordered food 4 hours ago. No delivery and no information about delivery time. After 3 calls, the employees become unfriendly and simply hang up. Update: the whole problem came from incorrect information from Lieferando. We went straight to the restaurant 2 days later and picked up our undelivered order. The boss personally apologized to us. Therefore the matter is fine for us and we would order there again.

We have ordered several times now and have been very pleased each time. The tortellini panna were the best I have ever eaten and extremely filling. My friend is very enthusiastic about the cannelloni. It doesn't look like much at first glance, but it fills you up well. The pizza (salami) is also highly recommended! The dough is the perfect thickness and the edge is nice and fluffy and soft. will order here more often

Ordered pizza for the first time even though we only live 2 minutes away... The pickup went very well and the pizza was very good and tasty.... Only the salad didn't have any dressing or there was just a splash of balsamic vinegar... We'll definitely order again

The best Italian in Erlangen. Just ask Cesare (the boss, you'll recognize him 😉) what you should eat. He will tell you. And you will enjoy it.

Once and never again!😡 The pizza arrived cold and with hard cheese, tasted like it was 3 days old!!! Our request for Tabasco and garlic was simply ignored😤 The edge is soggy and tomato sauce was saved, but there was an excess of DRY cheese. Not recommended (at least not for ordering).

"Taliatelli tartifo" and "Lasagna" we had lunch with a friend. It was tasty and quick to prepare. Unfortunately, the good impressions faded when we witnessed a loud altercation between a boss and an employee.

Were there as a couple. Food very mixed. Pizza not recommended. The topping of my tuna pizza was very watery and so was the pizza base. When a complaint was made, a new pizza was provided, but it wasn't any better. Very disappointing!

Good food, boss complied with the request to pay VERY late,,, took care of another table first. bad crowd in the restaurant, they interfere in other conversations 👎. won't go there again,,,,,,🤷

I have been coming to the Golden Hecht for many years and have always been satisfied with the quality of the food and the service. Highly recommended Italian restaurant.

We ordered pizzas and lasagna. The pizzas were okay, but we had the impression that the restaurant sold different/better pizzas. The lasagna just wasn't good. The “béchamel sauce” was no longer a sauce but rather large solid sour lumps. There was hardly any meat in the Bolognese sauce, and it wasn't particularly tasty either. We won't be ordering from there anymore.

Beautifully decorated restaurant, with a good layout, so the ambience is really pleasant! We got a nice spot for three quite spontaneously and late on Sunday evening, which was really perfect. The service was super friendly and I even got tips for my next trip to Napoli 😄 The food was absolutely fantastic and we can absolutely recommend the whole season menu at this time (August 2024). I was particularly impressed by the Neapolitan fried appetizer 😍 I can also recommend the homemade aperitivo, which is very refreshing, and the open Chardonnay. We will absolutely come back when we visit our friend in Erlangen!

Stayed at Cesare Erlangen today. So I love it, Italian cuisine at its finest, had salmon pasta with asparagus. And the boss of the house is a true Italian, with heart and commitment to his restaurant. In Erlangen I will only feast there 😁😁 many greetings from a happy guest

I ordered 8 pizzas and only 6 were delivered I had already paid via Paypal, otherwise I would have forgone the subsequent delivery When the delivery was made after 1 hour, I had to pay for the pizzas again After a long discussion over the phone with Lieferando Booten, I received my 2 pizzas Bad service was no excuse, I had to justify myself

Unfortunately, our experiences were mostly negative, typical classics were over-salted, sauce tasted the same in all dishes, and noodles were soft. Toilets were not lockable. We were disappointed.

There were 6 of us here for our daughter's birthday. Had previously reserved a table in a corner online. It also worked very well. Very friendly service; However, we forgot to order soup from the kitchen twice. The service lady immediately apologized and otherwise the food was excellent. Rather high price level but reasonable. The ambience could be renewed a bit. Doesn't have the feel of a sophisticated Italian restaurant. By the way: The best place to park is in the Fuchsenwiesen. Theater square is almost always full.

Ordered three pizzas, it took a very long time... We were very happy, then came the big disappointment... The pizzas were topped with champions that were black and brown and smelled very disgusting!
