Ristorante Gargano in Rödermark

We've been coming to Gargano for years and are always delighted. The food is fabulous and the service is very attentive without being intrusive. Gargano is also a great place for family celebrations. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

I go there quite often; the food is very tasty, and the price-performance ratio is good. We've also celebrated family events there, and everyone was happy. The staff is friendly. I can highly recommend it.

We visited Gargano for the first time, after other family members had already been there. The waiter gave us a somewhat reserved welcome and showed us to our table. Immediately after ordering, we received a complimentary aioli, chopped tomatoes, olives, and white bread. That was already delicious. The main courses arrived after a short wait and were tasty, especially considering they were a special offer in November. The value for money was excellent. For dessert, we ordered tiramisu, which was also very good. From our perspective, the evening was a success; if I may offer some friendly criticism: a slightly friendlier demeanor from the two male servers would cost nothing but would be more appreciated by the guests. There is ample parking directly at the restaurant. We will gladly recommend Gargano and wouldn't rule out future visits.

Terrible place. I had the unfortunate chance to meet the owner, who pushed me and snatched my phone out of my hand. After confirming beforehand that they accept card payments, I ordered and ate an €8 pizza. When I went to pay, I was suddenly told they only accept EC cards, so of course I offered to pay via PayPal or instant bank transfer, which my bank provides, since I only had a digital card, but the waiter told me to wait. Then the owner came out, took my phone without asking, and told me to "go get the money so I can get my phone back." I was shocked and disgusted. When he refused to give my phone back, I had to take it from him — and that’s when he pushed me out of the restaurant. I brought the cash back, even though I honestly should have called the police. Oh, and the pizza? Tasted like a frozen supermarket one. Avoid this place at all costs!

I was here last night with my girlfriend and tried a new pizza, the seafood pizza. I absolutely loved it! Great toppings. Baked in the new oven, it's a dream! I highly recommend it! 🥳🎉🎊

The pizza was a crispy flatbread with something on it...it had little to do with an Italian pizza (the texture of the dough was like a cheap pre-made pizza)...oh well, never mind...Gargano in Rödelheim has been an Italian restaurant since 1976...now it's "just" an Italian restaurant under a Turkish owner...take a look at the imprint...authorized representative: Mustafa Karatas. (And any kebab shop can make a better pizza than what was delivered here)

We were here for lunch with a salad starter, main course (penne pesto) and dessert (pannacotta). A greeting from the kitchen was served in advance: homemade pizza bread with dip and olives. For the price (€11.50) it was a really fair offer, the portion of pasta was so generous that I only managed half of it and had another meal in the evening. Everything tasted great, it was served very quickly and the service was very friendly. In the end we even got an Averna on the house. What more could you want? Rating highly recommended.

Der Besuch bei dem "Ristorante Gargano" im späten Sommer 2024 war sehr enttäuschend. Die Bestellung wurde vergessen, der Servicemitarbeiter des Restaurants stelle es so dar, dass sie keinen Anruf erhalten hätten. Auch der Nachweis unseres Anrufes veranlasste den Servicemitarbeiter zu keinem Einlenken oder einer Entschuldigung. Als Gäste verbleibt das Gefühl, nicht willkommen zu sein. Was durch die Meldung bei Google als "diffamierend" und die derzeitige Zugriffsbeschränkung auf den ehemaligen Post nur weiter verstärkt wird. Ursprüngliche Bewertung auf Google, mit Ergänzung in Klammern: "Als Gastgeber (ist das Ristorante Gargano) nicht weiter zu empfehlen. Sehr unschöne Erfahrung."

The food tastes very good and the service is also good. The mussels tasted very good, unfortunately there was little or no mussel meat in the mussels. Sometimes there was nothing in the shell. It's a shame, the taste was good. I wouldn't order the mussels again, I was pretty disappointed. Unfortunately, the waiter didn't ask me after the meal if everything was OK; I would have liked to have told him straight away. Still, I can recommend the food, just not mussels.

Nie wieder. Die Pizza sah aus und hat geschmeckt wie eine TK Pizza auf die man noch ein paar Zutaten gelegt hat. Die Salate die ich am Nachbartich gesehen habe wurden in Öl ertränkt.

I have never eaten as badly in my life as I did in Gargano. And I'm already over 50. The three slices of dry bread came with some cream cheese and a few small pieces of tomato. The cream of broccoli soup was so spicy that I couldn't eat it all and it was also slightly salty. The side salad was dry. After all, vinegar and oil were added. I only got salt and pepper when asked. The Cordon Bleu was definitely frozen food from some cheap discount store. You could see that. And smell. The cheese was totally rancid. All I could really do was try it. Even the fries were inedible. How anyone can go so wrong with fries is a mystery to me. I would have had to pay extra for ketchup. The waitress was not only taciturn, but also obviously not keen on work. All that was missing was for him to throw the plate on the table. I had almost all of the food returned and ordered the bill straight away. That guy didn't care what I said about my food. He obviously didn't care. He still cashed in completely. So overall an absolute catastrophe. And that's what I'll tell everyone I know.

It's good that there is also a lunch menu on Saturday. The food is served quickly. It is cheap. However, the taste leaves a lot to be desired. The acoustics are bad. You are forced to increase your own volume. You can easily follow the conversations four tables away.

Hello, it's certainly nice that this business has been around for 40 years. I ate there and would say the standard of the food is rather modest. Lots of finished goods. The way the food is prepared looks like grandma from the 70s and the ambience comes from a time when plastic plants were still great.

This was the nastiest lasagna, if you can call it that, that I have ever been served. Instead of pasta sheets surrounded by fluffy bolognaise, there were cut pasta squares of about 2 x 2 cm that were glued together. There was no sign of Bechamel. Looked like I had eaten it before. Never again!

Opinion from 15 people Service: normal Bread: from the day before, crumbly Salad: no salt, pepper, dressing, just a little sunflower oil, roughly chopped €10.50 Pasta: Miracoli has more flavor, pasta was hard, looked and tasted like it had been warmed up, 4 cheese sauce was just cream. Miserable Pizza: OK Meat dishes: OK, side dish 4 croquettes or fries handful. Oh well. Drinks: Drinks are expensive, glass of bottled cola costs €4, I expect a glass bottle for that. Local: cozy No recommendation from me, then I prefer McDonald's, then at least I know that nothing better awaits me. Anyone who judges the food to be excellent only eats canned food at home. Too bad about the money...

Service: normal Brot: vom Vortag, mürbe Salat: kein Salz, Pfeffer, Dressing, nur bisschen Sonnenblumenöl, grob geschnitten 10,50€ Pasta: Miracoli hat mehr Geschmack, Pasta hart, sah und schmeckte aus wie aufgewärmt, 4Käsessoße war einfach nur Sahne. Miserabel Pizza: OK Fleischgerichte: OK, Beilage 4 Kroketten oder Pommes Handvoll. Naja. Getränke: Drinks teuer, Glas Cola abgefüllt 4€, dafür erwarte ich eine Glasflasche. Lokal: gemütlich Von mir keine empfehlung, dann lieber mcdonald, dann weiß ich wenigstens das mich nichts besseres erwartet. Wer das Essen als Hervorragend beurteilt, der isst daheim nur Dosenfutter. Schade ums Geld…

Es ist ein sehr gemütliches Lokal mit sehr familiären Flaire. Super kinderfreundlich auch wenn diese mal über die Stränge schlagen wird nicht gemeckert sondern versucht beispielsweise mit einem Eis zu beruhigen. Geschmacklich war es definitiv kein 0-8-15 die Speisen hatten ihren eigenen Akzent.

Waren spontan hier für ein geschäftliches Mittagessen und wurden sehr überrascht. Die Tortellini mit Kürbis waren ausgezeichnet!

Klassischer Italiener, Chef Luca immer freundlich und aufmerksam zum Gast. Pizza Pasta, Steak und Schnitzel prima. Die zahlreichen anderen Gerichte sind teils zu kompliziert für die Küche. Es ist dennoch wichtig das Breidert diesen Italiener behält, damit es nicht ausstirbt. Geht hin!

Fantastica cucina italiana! Nach unserem gestrigen ersten Besuch sind wir begeistert von den köstlichen Speisen und dem wirklich sehr aufmerksamen und freundlichen Service. Wir kommen wieder. Grazie mille!

Waren schon häufiger im Gargano. Lecker und normales Preisniveau. Mittagstisch von Montag bis einschließlich Samstag. Hier kann man nichts falsch machen. Service etwas sachlich, aber aufmerksam. Sowohl Pizza als auch die Pasta sehr lecker. Gibt aber auch Schnitzel, Fisch etc. Klare Empfehlung.

Waren jetzt einige Male im Gargano. Es gibt von Montag bis einschließlich Samstag einen Mittagstisch (drei Gerichte zur Auswahl) zwischen 8,90 Euro und 10,90 Euro. Hier ist eine Suppe oder Salat und ein Nachtisch dabei. Daneben gibt es eine Vielzahl an Gerichten von Pizza bis Fisch. Uns hat es immer geschmeckt und preislich in Ordnung. Einmal war der Service etwas zäh, die anderen Male war es gut. Wir werden wiederkommen. Solide gut.

Das Essen ist gut, die Bedienung auf zack und sehr aufmerksam.

Last time I was there a kids football team was in and it was hell. Good job I've been before and liked it . Service could be a bit better . It's not that they are not friendly but if you are asked for a drink by someone at the table don't just say 'ok' but ask the rest of the table if anyone else needs something more. You make money and we all get drinks and happy drunk . Simple things like that we're missing but easily solvable.

Essen hervorragend, Service herzlich und sehr kinderlieb! Wir sind gerne vor Ort und genießen das Ambiente, holen aber auch gerne Speisen, um es uns dann bei einem guten Essen zu Hause gemütlich zu machen. Wir freuen uns schon sehr auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

2mal falsch abgerechnet - das kann kein Zufall sein. Beim ersten Mal wird der Wein höher in Rechnung gestellt, als die Karte ausweist. Das kann ein Versehen sein! Beim zweiten Mal der gleiche Fehler und "versehentlich" den Nachtisch vergessen, das vorhandene WLAN verneint und ein verbindliches Kellnerwort unterdrückt, das sollte nicht unerwähnt bleiben. Vermutungen, dass ich als Gast dieses Verhalten provoziert habe, kann ich getrost abweisen.

Hergekommen sind wir wegen des Mittagstisch, gegessen haben wir dann etwas aus der Empfehlungskarte. Nicht ganz billig, jedoch war das Essen von der Qualität und dem Geschmack absolut sein Geld wert. Wir kommen sicher bald mal wieder.

Sehr schmackhafte Speisen. Ob Fisch, Fleisch, Pizza oder Nudelgerichte alles super lecker. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die Spaghetti aus dem Parmesan-Laib mit Trüffel (gibt's auch ohne (;-)). Sehr aufmerksames Servicepersonal! Spezielle Wünsche werden gern erfüllt.

Davvero eccellente, bel ristorante raffinato. Difficilmente all'estero si mangia così bene in un ristorante italiano, tanto da fare invidia a tanti ristoranti in Italia. Prodotti di qualità ed ottimo servizio. Servizio ottimo e grande gentilezza e disponibilità da parte del personale e del gestore. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Buona lista di vini. Neanche da dire che lo consiglio vivamente.

Seit der Neueröffnung durch Pepe sind wir jeden Mittwoch im Gargano zu Mittag. Diesmal habe ich ein Rib Eye Steak gegessen. Wir sind alle immer wieder von der konstanten Qualität und den angenehmen Preisen begeistert. Mach weiter so Pepe! Unbedingt die frisch zubereiteten Vorspeisen-Suppen probieren.

Nicht weit von der S-Bahn Station der Linie 1. Wenn ich vom Airport nach Hause komme von einer Reise suche ich dieses Lokal eigentlich sehr oft auf. EDera Wirt ist sehr freundlich und die Speisen, besonders Fisch sind super. Bin jetzt schon öftres da gewesen und wurde nie enttäuscht
