There is always wonderfully delicious food here! Class! We've been going here for years! For me, the best pizza in Germany is here!

The food is cooked with love. The food and service leave nothing to be desired. The chef cooks himself and even accommodates special requests. He takes the time to ask his guests questions. We celebrated a birthday here, and everyone was very satisfied. The food was delicious, and everyone (despite the different dishes (fish, meat, and vegetarian) had their meals on the table at the same time, so we could eat together. Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious tiramisu for dessert, espresso, and delicious drinks. An all-round successful evening. Highly recommended. A big thank you to the truly outstanding chef and owner of the restaurant; he truly puts his heart and soul into his guests' well-being! Uncomfortable atmosphere, dingy, the bowling alley freezing cold because it wasn't heated, despite a reservation. Cobwebs everywhere, dried plant leaves on the floor, the table still dirty from the previous guest, etc. The staff weren't familiar with bowling alleys and suggested we look it up on YouTube if we weren't sure how to get around. We ordered a latte macchiato, but it simply wasn't brought. When we asked, they said that frothing the milk wouldn't work. The salad was slapped carelessly onto the plate; delicious, fresh, and crispy is something else entirely. There wasn't even any bread or pizza rolls to accompany the antipasti and salad; only upon request were a few small pieces of toasted baguette brought. The other dishes, like calzone and schnitzel with mushroom sauce, were neither visually nor tastefully impressive. Attention to detail is lacking in all areas. (Service, ambiance, food) We didn't feel at all comfortable and definitely won't be coming back. There are plenty of snack bars in Cronenberg with better food, better ambiance, and better service. Definitely not recommended!

This story is based on a true event, and all characters are real. On the way home, we wanted to grab a bite to eat, so I made a last-minute reservation at Ristorante Fiorello in Cronenberg. Why not try a solid, neighborhood Italian restaurant? Incidentally, this restaurant, located in the former traditional building "Zum Alten Köhler" (The Old Charcoal Burner), has been around for over 10 years and was awarded the "Golden W" in the "Service with Heart" category by anonymous restaurant critics from the Wuppertal Rundschau newspaper in 2023. The ambiance is, of course, a matter of taste. It feels more like a country inn from the 1970s, and only the red and white checkered tablecloths seem to be meant to evoke a touch of Italian flair. We found the rather bright lighting somewhat distracting and not particularly cozy. From the menu, which had a fittingly old-school look, we chose the Penne all'Arrabbiata and a custom-made pizza with vegetables and Gorgonzola. I asked for some garlic oil in a separate dish, and the friendly waiter assured me that this would be perfectly possible, just like at the next table. A short time later, the waiter reappeared and informed me that the owner wouldn't serve garlic oil for just one person and that he would add the garlic to the pizza beforehand. I replied that I don't like baked garlic and would prefer to control the amount myself. No, my polite request fell on deaf ears. The owner had explicitly stated that this was only possible for multiple guests and that it would taste fine. It was actually the perfect time to get up and leave, but my partner had been looking forward to a nice, spicy arrabbiata, so I resigned myself to my fate. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and, as requested, quite spicy. Unfortunately, I can only describe the pizza as below average. I can't recall ever having a pizza so smothered in cheese, and the vegetables, which were somewhat watery in places, could have used a bit more seasoning. It was a shame, really, because the dough was well-made and the crispy-fluffy crust was lovely. However, I wasn't in the mood for another discussion and didn't complain. Hunger, as we all know, makes you eat almost anything. Soon after, the owner appeared in the dining room, greeted a regular couple with a handshake, and asked if they were satisfied. The woman asked for garlic oil, and promptly, someone rushed into the kitchen and returned immediately with a small bowl for her. At that point, I was expecting someone from a hidden camera show to arrive at our table, but it was just the owner, who also seriously asked us if we were satisfied. After a brief moment of speechlessness, I naturally expressed my displeasure. The man seemed caught out, mumbled something about a misunderstanding, turned around, and sent the waiter to apologize politely—a classic scapegoat scenario. The waiter, who was clearly trying his best, couldn't have made up such a ridiculous story, and the two requests for a separate dish couldn't have been misleading. You have to be a fan of oversized garlic under and amidst the generous layer of cheese. It's a shame I wasn't allowed to decide for myself. It's advisable for non-regulars to steer clear of this inhospitable establishment. Unless, of course, you're into nostalgic time travel, dusty decorations from bygone days, and pizzas plastered with cheese. Then this is the place for you. We'll pass on another "service with heart" experience. Who likes feeling like a second-class guest?! I much prefer writing reviews about great restaurant visits, dedicated restaurateurs with high standards, and authentic cuisine. It can be simple, as long as it's good. Card payments aren't accepted, and an Italian with any self-respect wouldn't just offer discount-quality house wine. Modern gastronomy is something else entirely.

The atmosphere is a bit rustic... Cleanliness - very good... We were here for the first time today and ordered pizza calzone and schnitzel with paprika sauce - and it tasted sensational! Both dishes were super tasty and so large that I unfortunately had to leave out the homemade tiramisu as dessert... No "room" for it... I can say one thing with certainty - we were here for the first time, but definitely not the last... The next dates are already being planned...

Very tasty food and the service is equipped with a very nice sense of humor gladly again

The food is not only inexpensive, it also tastes absolutely delicious :) I simply love the food. The service is excellent; the chef even comes over and asks if you enjoyed your meal—simply wonderful.

We bowl here every 4 weeks. The food has remained consistently good, the service has changed often and is currently in good hands again.

I've lived in the area for years now and have walked past this restaurant thousands of times. It was more of a coincidence that I was there with friends, and what can I say. Absolute insider tip! The cuisine is outstanding, the cooking here is fresh with very good ingredients. For example, schnitzels are pounded, pizza dough still tastes like real pizza and the noodles were always al dente. The service staff is super friendly, the boss himself comes to the table and inquires about the guests' well-being. Be sure to reserve a table in advance, as the shop is surprisingly often fully booked. If you're craving authentic Italian cuisine, you should definitely stop by here!

We stayed here with a group of 14 people after a sports tournament. The food was delicious and inexpensive and the service was great. The golden W is truly deserved. Thank you!

The food there is really very good and always freshly prepared. The atmosphere is more home-style. The boss very friendly. There is always a daily menu and the normal menu. As I said, I've never fallen for it, everything was very good.

è il re dei cuochi ! Er ist der König unter den Köchen! Ambiente schlicht, aber kultiviert, ruhig und gemütlich. Der wiederholte Besuch bringt mich dazu zu ergänzen: Man fühlt sich auch wohl hier, weil man sich auf die Sauberkeit einfach verlassen kann. Der Chef kocht selbst und findet nach Möglichkeit dennoch Zeit für ein Wort mit dem Gast. Mehreres a la Carte gleichzeitig bereitet, und doch ist jedes Gericht mit ganzem Herzen gemacht. Jägerschnitzel (es sind 2!) und Gorgonzola- Pizza mit gegrillter Paprika u. Rucola schmeckten uns ausgezeichnet. Ein Sonderwunsch wurde gerne und mit Sinn und Verstand erfüllt. Die sehr nette und kompetente Bedienung an diesem Abend konnte mit Gespür, Humor und Souveränität überzeugen.

Gut bürgerliches Restaurant, das einen Besuch lohnt. Frisch zubereitete Speisen, gut gezapftes Bier, rustikales gepflegtes Ambiente. Ich werde wieder kommen !

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant und sehr sauber. Hier gibt es die beste Pizza im Dorf ganz ehrlich wer sie noch nicht gegessen hat müsse dies echt nachholen Wir haben vor 1 Woche den 5 ten Geburtstag von meinem Sohn in der Kegelbahn gefeiert. Alle Wünsche wurden sofort umgesetzt . Eine super freundliche gutaussehende Bedienung die echtes Fachwissen besitzt Ebenso der Chef persönlich mit typisch italienischen Humor . Hier feiern wir aufjedenfall noch einmal.

Vorsicht! Die Schnitzel können süchtig machen: Zart, saftig und auf den Punkt, in crosser Panade. Dazu vorher die ausgezeichnete Zwiebelsuppe, leicht mit Käse überbacken. Ein echter Genuss!

Herr Fiorello ist ein toller Gastgeber. Sehr leckere Nudelgerichte und die besten Schnitzel in Cronenberg.

Gute Parkmöglichkeiten, reichliche Auswahl an Geschäften

Ich war hier zu einer Geburtstagsfeier eingeladen. Es war sehr schön

Ich war mit Kollegen zur Weihnachtsfeier hier und wir waren alle enttäuscht. Die Kellnerin war sehr laut und unterbrach auch einfach Gespräche sehr unfreundlich. Ich bekam 2 mal eine Flasche Cola an den Kopf beim über den Tisch reichen und meiner Kollegin hat sie Pommes in den Nacken gekippt beim servieren. Das Essen war leider auch ein Reinfall, recht teuer aber schlechte Qualität. Der Salat war aus der Tüte, das Dressing aus der Flasche und die "Bratkartoffeln" waren ölige erwärmte Kartoffelscheiben ohne Gewürze. Schade denn im letzten Jahr war es super, frisch und lecker.

Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung sehr sehr nett kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Altes Restaurant, interior ebenfalls. Küche ist nicht besonders. Mayonnaise war abgelaufen. Leider kein Ersatz. Rechnung war falsch. Bedienung sehr bemüht und nett. Sonst leider nicht zufriedenstellend.

Hallo Leute! Das Restaurant sieht nicht sehr einladend von außen aber drinnen ist sie gemütlich und das Essen mit selbst gemachten soaucen und anderen leckeren Gerichten ist ein Feuerwerk für den Gaumen
