A great restaurant with incredibly delicious pizza! A particularly nice feature is that you can order your pizza in half, so you don't have to commit to just one. Our server, Tabea, was super friendly. We'd definitely come back. I'm deducting one star for the ambiance because the open-plan design makes it quite noisy.

I used to enjoy going there. My husband and I were there without a reservation and asked if there was a table for two. We were seated at a small table, but I wanted to sit by the window, not in the middle. The server came, and I asked if we could sit by the window. It was fine; the table was free, and she even checked with a colleague. After we ordered, the woman who had greeted us came back and said, "No, you can't sit here." The table was reserved, and I couldn't even explain that her colleague had escorted us there. We canceled our order and left. Never again.

We've been coming here for years and have eaten at least 50 times, if not more. The staff is usually very courteous, and we feel comfortable here. Today, however, things went disastrously wrong. The restaurant was about 70-80% empty on Saturday afternoon. We stood at the entrance for several minutes, waiting to be shown to our table (unfortunately, you have to wait). It took several minutes while the two employees paced back and forth aimlessly in slow motion. Meanwhile, two more groups had joined the queue behind us. The employees didn't even notice; they continued, for example, sorting drinks at the counter. We and the groups behind us became increasingly impatient, and we started talking about what was going on. I then went to one of the employees and, smiling, asked if we could also be shown to our table. The employee replied that I had just arrived and should wait. I responded that we had been waiting for several minutes, just like the other customers. The employee contradicted me again, implicitly accusing me of lying. I then asked if he wanted to discuss it or assign us seats. He said we could discuss it. I replied that I didn't want to discuss it, but rather take a seat, and asked if that was now possible. The employee said that wasn't possible. At that point, we and the two other waiting groups were so outraged that everyone left. Throughout the entire "conversation," the employee had an aggressive demeanor, wide-open eyes, and a downturned mouth. After many years as regular customers, this was probably our last visit. It's especially sad for the owner when employees drive away regular customers and countless new ones with such behavior. We then went to 60 Seconds to Napoli and were very satisfied.

I would like management to pay more attention to their service staff and explain the principles of good service to them again. This applies particularly to the waitress with tattooed arms and a robust build, whose name I unfortunately don't know as she isn't wearing a name tag.

Unfortunately, they didn't have any cheese on site, but we gladly accepted the wait due to the very friendly service.

Some pizzas (e.g., the prosciutto) aren't really recommended, but some pasta dishes are exceptionally good. The service is attentive, and the atmosphere is quite alright for a chain restaurant.

Service here is a complete gamble... 2 out of 3 visits were truly abysmal, unplanned and slow, then again friendly, quick and attentive... But the food was okay every time and the prices were fine for me.

One of the best places to eat in Wuppertal-Eberfeld. Large pizzas, perfect for one or two people, and a wide variety of pasta dishes, especially the carbonara. High-quality ingredients, with options for vegetarians and vegans. A super pleasant atmosphere, sometimes crowded, but always quick and friendly from all the waiters and cooks behind the bar. It's always a great choice.

I love coming here. The filled ravioli with spinach are especially amazing! And it's great to have a chat here :)

L'Osteria is a restaurant chain with amazingly large pizzas at reasonable prices. The pasta, red wine, and coffee are also above average. They place a strong emphasis on being family-friendly.

Beautiful restaurant, delicious food, and even a little pizza corner for the kids. The service staff was very friendly. Our wonderful server made it a perfect evening.

Losteria lives up to its name: LOST. Orders are placed at 12 PM and picked up at 1 PM (for takeout). It's unacceptable that you order one pizza and three pasta portions, which are finally ready at 12:15 PM (pizza) and 1 PM (pasta)!!! Then you ask what's going on and why you can't get everything at the same time, and you get the answer: "Yeah, we're sorry, but the pasta has to be cooked first, and it only takes 10 minutes!" It took an hour! Then you finally get your cold food (by which time the pizza was already cold and eaten). Nonsense!!! To top it off: The pasta portion was about half the size you'd normally get in a restaurant??? How is that even possible? And then the pasta was overcooked, so those 10 minutes actually turned into 60 minutes of uncooked and cold food. Thanks for that!!! I'm never going there again.

We visited L'Osteria with a group of 25 people. At other branches, we've experienced service issues even with just four people, but the Wuppertal branch handled the service for 25 people exceptionally well. The staff were friendly, attentive, courteous, and even efficient (but not rushed). They anticipated every need from their guests' faces. As a result, glasses were never left empty; whenever someone wanted another drink, it was promptly served – something that's often lacking in the restaurant industry. On top of that, the food was of outstanding quality and completely satisfied our hunger. The Wuppertal branch more than made up for some of the disappointments we'd experienced at other locations!

The pizzas are, of course, the highlight of this chain. We also generally enjoy the other dishes. On some days, when all the tables are occupied, it can be quite hectic and quite loud. We also often pick up food and take it home.

I like the ambiance and the aroma of Italian cuisine. The pizza, pasta, appetizers, and some desserts are delicious. I don't really like the salads here, but I haven't ordered them in years. The staff is always attentive. I like the atmosphere of the restaurant and always enjoy coming back 🙃

There are a total of 160 L'Osteria restaurants in nine European countries. I'm not usually a fan of chains, living more by the motto: "Friends don't let friends go to Starbucks." But L'Osteria impresses with reasonable prices, extremely friendly and attentive staff, and excellent quality. The pizzas are huge (many go home with a doggy bag under their arm), and the salads are fresh. I had the INSALATA GALLINACCI (wild herb salad, roasted chanterelle mushrooms, cipolle borettane, pomegranate, and lemon vinaigrette) last weekend and was so blown away that I can't wait to eat this delicacy again soon. My only minor criticism: The music is usually a bit too overpowering for me, but hey! I'm not exactly lowering the average age, so it's OK.

L'Osteria is an absolute insider tip! The food is delicious and authentic Italian, the service is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I recommend it to anyone looking for good Italian cuisine.
