Zeker de moeite waard om er eentje te gaan eten. Piazza's zijn enorm en lekker! Vitello tonato is er ook aan te raden! Is er gewoon gezellig en lekker.

On Monday (12/8) we arrived there by chance. Very busy, but we were offered a lovely spot even without a reservation. When I looked at the chairs, they immediately presented me with a normal chair without many words. This is what I call top-notch service. Heavier people also like to sit on a terrace without having to sit uncomfortably in armchairs that are often too small. The pizzas (call them UFO) were very tasty at 45cm and my maccheroncini pesto with pine nuts was exactly as it should be. If we ever travel to Wuppertal or the surrounding area again, we will definitely go back. Highly recommended where the customer is king. More than 5 stars for us

Seit ein paar Monaten gibt es hier glutenfreie Pasta, die stehen nicht auf der Karte, aber alle Nudelgerichte sind mit glutenfreien Nudeln möglich. Sehr sehr lecker und ich weiß das dort auf Kontamination geachtet wird, da ich einen der Manager kenne. Ich habe Zöliakie und habe es jedesmal super vertragen! Sehr zu empfehlen.

Everything was great actually, pizza tasted good. But 3!!! Euro surcharge for vegan cheese is an absolute disgrace!!

Large restaurant in the Elberfelder Fuzo. Huge pizzas, impossible to do alone. Very tasty but way too much. Great friendly service even though it was busy. Unfortunately very loud when full and very warm air despite the doors being open.

Extremely nice staff. The environment is difficult, you are constantly approached by beggars, even while eating. Pizza was extremely large and didn't fit on the plate. It was also black in some places.

One of the best shops in Wuppertal. Huge pizzas, friendly service and everything tastes great. Even though it's a chain, L'Osteria doesn't disappoint. The salsiccia picante in particular is terrific and the tiramisu also tastes good. The drinks are creative and good and of course you earn money from them. But it works and we always have a great evening here. By the way, there is water for dogs if you ask. Very sympathic.

L'Osteria offers a high level of convenience food in the Italian style, but there's nothing to say against that because the quality is excellent. The service, however, leaves a lot to be desired. It's Saturday afternoon, the restaurant is maybe 1/4 full and you still can't get to the table within 15 minutes. The order was placed by me and my companion and the drinks we ordered were “forgotten”. When we were kindly told that food was coming, we were assured that it would certainly come immediately... No wonder if you quickly go to the bar and order it again... The fact that you then suddenly adjust the volume of the music to a level that makes conversation very difficult, allows the really good food to slide into the background... A pity....

Lækker mad, hvor vi alle blev rigeligt mætte. Okay priser. Vi fik både gode pizzaer, risotto, salat og lasagne. Flink personale. Eneste minus var den lidt høje og ikke så hyggelige musik.

We really enjoy eating at L'Osteria (we've also eaten at L'Osteria in various cities) and I can say Wuppertal is in the top two. Staff/service is simply top notch. In terms of taste, it's really one of the top two, only the one in Bochum (RuhrPark) would taste a bit better.

Yes, you can actually order large pizzas half and half, but when we order salsiccia we don't mean pepperoni pizza!!! To clear up the misunderstanding, we told the waiter that they had made a mistake and brought us a pepperoni pizza. But the answer was: “No, that's not a mistake, for us Salsiccia is ....” 🙁🙁

There were many guests there. That's probably why we had to wait so long for the food. All (9) had enjoyed their meal except 1. After explaining what was wrong (way too much vinegar on the salad), he was able to choose something else from the menu at no additional cost.

A simple pizzeria where the giant pizza can even be ordered in half if a second person orders the other half, other toppings are also possible. The furnishings are typical of Osterias. The restaurant is located in the pedestrian zone.

We stopped by for lunch on Saturday and sat outside. It was about 2pm so past the rush, but still busy enough. It took 15 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us and to take our order. We were beyond ready to order food but she would only take our drink orders and insisted on leaving a specials menu with us before she took our food order. Another 15 minutes, no drinks, have to flag her down to order food and one more drink from the specials menu. She is very nice but clearly not suited for the job. They seem to use that bizarre German way of only letting 1 or 2 people take orders and having tons of food and drink runners and table bussers who seem much more competent than the actual waiters but can't actually take orders. Madness and extremely inefficient. Special drink comes 15 minutes later but only after us noticing a runner wandering around with it having no clue which table it belongs to and flagging him down. Pizza and pasta finally come after another 20 minutes but the salad (which doesn't need to be cooked) does not. After 10 minutes of waiting and finally seeing an employee to flag down we ask about the salad and it comes a few minutes later. Food was delicious as usual but the service and lack of competence and coordination made for a poor experience overall. Some training and customer service skills sorely needed. I don't know if people sitting inside fared better but on a sunny day the outside service needs to be prioritised. Very disappointing.

The atmosphere at L’Osteria is really appealing. The restaurant is stylishly furnished and offers a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, which made my visit very pleasant. The menu offers a wide range of Italian dishes, in particular the pizzas are huge and very tasty. The pasta was also fresh and tasty. L’Osteria Wuppertal Elberfeld is definitely worth a visit if you are looking for high quality Italian cuisine in a beautiful setting. The positive aspects such as the friendly staff and the delicious food outweigh the negative aspects. I will certainly come back!

Unfortunately not everything that is offered on the menu is there. Of course it can always happen, but 1 star less is OK. The service ? The service was horrible. We got our table after that we were completely forgotten at the table. There were empty tables yet we didn’t get any service, even people after us got service before us. Our waiter was rude as well and just tossed the knives ans forks on the table and gave rude comments under the breath. The pasta was also overcooked and the food arrived at way too long timeintervals.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food because we didn't get that far. We actually sat at a table that wasn't tidy for half an hour, even though several waiters saw us. We paid attention twice to see if we could get a card or if the table was being cleared. A waitress from the other side kindly cleared the table for us. The waiter who was responsible for our side hardly paid any attention to us. We didn't feel welcome as guests and left. It's a shame, we were really happy...

Miserable service, you wait forever for service.

We were there with a larger group. The friendly welcome and the very nice service were above average positive. I would come back at any time.
