We took the liberty of ordering two pizzas. After a while two people sat down at the next table. After we waited about three quarters of an hour for the food we ordered, at least the couple next to us got their ordered food. Coincidentally, you had ordered the same pizzas. Hopefully you enjoyed it. For three quarters of an hour, no one from the service staff was there, perhaps. to offer a typical island beer from the Krombacher brewery. We then ended our visit here without further ado. I'll leave the bouncer's very daring words uncommented here, but maybe. He should finish his muesli bar first. Maybe it was just stupid, but the service and professionalism are somehow different. We won't be coming back and can't recommend the restaurant in any way.

The food was very tasty but unfortunately we weren't full despite the starter because the portions were quite small. Unfortunately the service was unfriendly. We were left standing at the entrance without being greeted even though there were three employees there. Then our drink order was forgotten and attempts to draw the staff's attention to us again so that we could get the drinks failed. Overall we were disappointed with our visit.

A beautiful restaurant in Baabe that has it all. Incredibly delicious food, very friendly and understandable staff, there is also parking. Even if the prices are a little steeper than elsewhere, it is definitely worth paying a visit to Del Mare. Thin and tasty pizzas, homemade fries, perfectly fried meat. Without exception, every dish is a taste explosion and has something special. My insider tip: The Italian starter platter. An unforgettable restaurant that I enjoy visiting.

I can only confirm the reviews of many other visitors. Even without a reservation, I was given the opportunity to have dinner if I could make it there in 60 minutes. So that the guests who had reserved can also get their table. The staff was very friendly, the kitchen was quick and the food was simply delicious. Again any time!

Absolutely great, tastefully decorated restaurant. In addition, the food tastes fabulous. We ate the best pizza of our lives there!!!! On top of that, the waiters live and love their job! Everyone is super friendly and, above all, loves children. Our little daughter was given an exquisite tour of the kitchen so that we could eat in peace. All the employees were super nice to her. You should only give the minimum number of stars, otherwise the restaurant will be overcrowded. It's still easy to get in after 8 p.m. It's simply worth it.

We ate here on vacation based on a recommendation and everything was just right. The food was very good, the prices were reasonable, the service was first class, especially since we were there with 2 small children (4 & 2 years).

We took pizza with us, it was super tasty and typically Italian... the crowds and later the closing of the entrance spoke for themselves, so you're happy to wait 25 minutes. For the pizza! 🙈🤤

Update June 2024 After 3 years again in Baabe and in Del Mare. Still excellent. Friendly and competent service, very tasty food and good wine. It was my birthday, I was served a serenade and a small cake. I found that very nice and thoughtful 😊. We then made reservations for another dinner! June 2021 We really liked it, the service was very accommodating. The parpadelle with prawns and the pasta fresce with seafood were delicious. Small wine list, but very good Sicilian, you should try it. We can recommend this restaurant!

We were very satisfied. Food (pizza, sea bream, salmon, antipasti plate) was very tasty. Unfortunately there was no big salad. Unfortunately, a special order for the salad was not possible. We would like to have more choice when it comes to beer selection. Addendum 2024: We eat at Del Mare regularly every year. We were there three times this holiday. Unfortunately it wasn't so great twice. One time the noodles were cold and one time they were also without salt. And today the fillet strips were fried through. But the service was good. Overall the quality is actually good but varies too much. We should work on it.

It was my first visit, without a reservation. The friendly staff was still able to offer me a table. So I was able to enjoy a delicious pizza, even if only for a short time. Next time with a reservation so I can stay longer.

Absolutely nothing to complain about neither the food, the friendly service nor the impressive ambience. This restaurant is a MUST for everyone.

So the service is very nice throughout, that much in advance, but the portion of lasagna I had was actually a children's portion, even though it tasted good. I then ate a bit of my wife's pizza, which was quite large but the toppings were extremely sparing. Overall, it was unfortunately pretty average, but it couldn't be described as a failure. But it seems to have become a trend on the island that, despite the significantly increased prices in the catering industry, portions tend to be shrunk.

It's all ok. Nice service, pleasant atmosphere. The food really good. A large selection of Italian meat and fish dishes. Plus lots of pizzas and pasta dishes. Good selection of drinks. Reservations are mandatory, otherwise there will be long waiting times. The prices are within the usual local range. All in all highly recommended.

The best address for us as a family with two teenagers for years. Mediterranean food at its best! The boss and the team are also great! It's just a shame that we can't get the "Del Mare" to move to our hometown ;-)

A great team. Always friendly and the food was 1 a. We will definitely come back on our next stay in Rügen. Unfortunately, without a reservation you rarely have a chance of getting a table. Luckily we had reservations. The only thing that bothered us personally was the TV broadcast of the European Football Championship. But that's just a matter of taste.

Delicious. Great cognac sauce for the spaghetti al gamberetti. The tomato sauce with the mussels also tastes great. Nice atmosphere. For dessert, another 6ft upwards. Creme bruuelle tastes so purple. Clear deductions in the B grade. It is permitted to smoke thick cigars in the winter garden. It smelled so bad and we had to eat. The tattooed young woodpecker enjoyed his cigar at everyone's expense.

The restaurant has a great selection of dishes. The service is very friendly . We were thrilled with the food. It's been a long time since I've had such a tender steak, and the lasagna tastes perfect. Great location in Baabe, we will definitely be back👍

The pizza was very tasty, the restaurant is nicely decorated. The service was friendly, but not well trained, so the first person's plates were cleared away while others were still eating. The prices are quite high.

We have been coming to Baabe every year since 2012. Our first and last evening is the "Del Mare" must. The table reservation is made from home. We appreciate the cozy atmosphere. We are happy to accept the prices. But today we were totally disappointed. Waiting over an hour for a pizza that didn't correspond at all to a restaurant of this format. Questions about this were answered arrogantly and condescendingly by “our” cellar Ahmet Mahmutogullari. When he paid he got even more soggy..... DEL Mare, unfortunately never again thanks to this service😥😥😥

That may have been the entire portion of pasta that day. The taste was okay, but I wonder if they really made so little or if they just ran out of noodles. I'm not sure if I want to go there again. The noodles you see in the picture were all there!!! Answer to you: What else should I honestly write? I wrote down my own impressions, what's not honest about that? Also, that was two years ago, does that mean it was correct then? It's nice to hear that something has improved!

Very nice service, luckily we got a table without a reservation. But it's better to make a reservation as it was really full and some people were turned away. The food came quickly and was very tasty. The portions are OK. We can make a recommendation.

A really great restaurant if it can be a little more refined. The paprika cream soup was a dream because it harmonized wonderfully with the goat cheese praline. The foccacia was also nice and fluffy. The Pizza Caprese has achieved the title of best pizza of my life. The dough was fluffy and crispy at the same time and the buffalo mozzarella was very creamy. I'm looking forward to being there again soon to try the pasta there.

A fantastic restaurant, I've never eaten so well!!!! It was sooooo delicious. I was in Baabe with my colleague for a few days and we were here three times. Reservations are necessary as word has spread about the good food and the lovely ambience. The first time we sat outside on the terrace, as everything inside was fully booked (who is surprised...). Thank God we DIDN'T go, because then we really would have missed something. The lush floral arrangements are also beautiful. The employees are all nice and friendly. We wanted to adopt the chef, but the waitress wouldn't let him out... In short... we were completely satisfied, would love to come back and hope to find other good restaurants too, because we will always compare with this one and it will be hard to top. All the best to the entire workforce, you can tell that they enjoy their work!!

I've been coming there for more than 14 years now when I'm on vacation in Rügen. It is now really recommended to reserve a few days in advance, especially in the season. My absolute favorite restaurant. There's a lot of love involved, whether in the kitchen, the service staff or even in the café. We come back to you anytime and again.

Unfortunately we had to sit outside, but that's what happens without a reservation - heat sources made it bearable. Doesn't spoil the overall impression - the food was excellent! Looks, taste, quality a smooth 1*. We would love to come back (with reservation)! Here, class absolutely trumps the mass processing that we are now unfortunately used to.

We were pleasantly surprised. From the outside it looked like a "normal Italian" but the interior had a really great ambience. The service was great and the food was good too. Better to book a table in advance.
