Ristorante "Del Mare" in Baabe

The waitress had an eye for the children, but hardly showed up - despite there being few guests Unfortunately the bruschetta was from the day before and the landlord didn't respond to criticism in a professional manner. The rest of the food was very good and without exception fresh. My pizza was excellent. Advantage: the restaurant is at least open at lunchtime.

We give it 4.4 stars. Even if you always have to bring some time with you, children should not be ignored. The service employee even responded to the child's wave and was with us without further ado. Delicious thirst quenchers, a slightly dry pizza and children who were happy. A delicious ice cream at the end and the children will want to come back. You should reserve your place in advance.

We come to Baabe at least twice a year and always make reservations at Del Mare well in advance. The food is delicious and the female service is very friendly. On our last visit, some tables had a greeting from the kitchen, others didn't. The starter variation was always beautifully presented - not this time. The salami shown on the menu was completely missing. Nevertheless, everything was delicious. Today we ordered 3 pizzas to pick up. Everything was finished on time. When I wanted to pre-order a table, the waiter first went to the order book, then asked me to call better with a “nudge” towards the door. I like the restaurant, but the service has definitely gone down considerably. It's a shame, because the taste is still good. I hope they just weren't such good days.

This Italian restaurant is an absolute insider tip! The food was fantastic – fresh, authentic and prepared with a lot of love. The pasta and pizza were on point, and the desserts were to die for. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was extremely warm and professional. We had a wonderful evening and can only recommend the restaurant!

Cozze Gorgonzola, first of all a first-class fish soup. At the next table there was steak with prawns and goose liver tortellini. Everything at its best. Fresh herbs, vegetables fresh and crunchy. Very fine but great details everywhere. Absolutely recommended.

My favorite restaurant on Rügen. Number 1 spot at the top of the list. Quality of the food (amazing! Kitchen team: Hats off!!!) Competent service: no complaining when it comes to special requests, even during busy times. Ambiance is right. The restaurant teams make the atmosphere a unique experience. Team is flawless from A to Z. My advice: eat there once in your life. Risk: They will come back. We wish you continued success and recommend this place of taste explosions with a clear conscience.

Pizza Prosciutto Di Parma (€16.90) was very tasty and quite large. €4.70 for a large Diet Coke (0.4 l) is also okay. Very nice decor, pleasantly chilled music.

The two of us were in the restaurant at the weekend and were thrilled by the delicious food and the friendly service. My recommendation: the pasta straight from the Parmesan loaf! Unfortunately there was a bit of a drag because the door to the outside was open to serve the guests there. Therefore a star deduction for the ambience. Otherwise, clear recommendation and we would be happy to come back!

The food is very good and the service is also quite good, but sometimes a bit overwhelmed because the shop is always full. The ambience is very nice, but the heaters don't warm properly. I almost froze to death, thank God I had 2 blankets

I was there with my two children and just managed to get a table outside. The children's pizza with ham was very sweet and tasted delicious. According to my daughter, the children's pasta with tomato sauce wasn't that tasty and she got a stomach ache in the evening. I don't know whether that came from the noodles. The mussels in gorgonzola sauce were great, even if not all of the mussels were open. There was a little too little bread for all the sauce. My Hugo was very sweet and unfortunately very small. There is a great aquarium inside, which my kids in particular found really exciting. Price-performance is definitely right.

I can only confirm the reviews of many other visitors. Even without a reservation, I was given the opportunity to have dinner if I could make it there in 60 minutes. So that the guests who had reserved can also get their table. The staff was very friendly, the kitchen was quick and the food was simply delicious. There are heaters and blankets on the terrace for cooler evenings. Gladly again at any time!

Really great restaurant! Again and again!

First of all, music is always a matter of taste. Personally, the music in the bar was far too hectic for me, I had the feeling that it spread to the whole atmosphere. My pizza tasted really good, but only lukewarm. Unfortunately I didn't complain about this straight away, my mistake. There are more pleasant places in Baabe for me.

Every time we are in Baabe, Restaurante del Mare is a must. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is very modern and cozy and the service cannot be beaten in terms of hospitality. Pizza inedible We have never eaten such a lousy pizza!! And this at a terrible price: €19 a pizza. Writing the menu in Italian doesn't help either. Probably in the hope that the average German holidaymaker doesn't understand this!!!!

Just a bad wannabe Italian who thinks he understands Italian cuisine. There is a Tunisian in the restaurant. This food has nothing to do with Italian cuisine. The portions are small but very expensive. The service is arrogant. Never again!!!

They have a barrier in front of the door, so I had to wait about 10 minutes until someone came out and said what can I do for you? I had to wait another 10 minutes even though the restaurant was half empty!! I would rather go somewhere else where the people are more hospitable. There are more than enough Italian restaurants!!

The Italian restaurant is undoubtedly the best we have experienced so far. The canneloni al forno were outstanding – the best we have ever tasted. Unfortunately we failed to make a reservation in time, so we could only pick up the food. We will definitely reserve in advance on our next vacation. A visit is definitely recommended!

As a starter we had a delicious tartare. However, the mussels in white wine were bitter and inedible. According to the waitress, the turmeric was responsible for this. But for me that doesn't belong in a white wine sauce. As a replacement we got tasteless mussels in water sauce. The pasta with vongole as a second dish was at least well seasoned, but cooked too long for my taste. The Lugana was pleasant, as were the rolls as a side dish with the meal. There is no risk of recurrence for the restaurant. The service is top, the kitchen could be improved.

When we are in Baabe we like to go to Del Mare. This includes booking a table. Delicious food and not a long wait (the food was there within 15 minutes).

It was my husband's 50th birthday! I made a reservation by phone and said he was turning 50. After the meal there was happy birthday music and a really beautiful and very tasty cake with a fountain. Cozy atmosphere with good/friendly service and delicious food

The restaurant tries to appear “upscale” and the approach to this is there. In high season you actually have to reserve a few days in advance, or you can arrive in the evening from 8:30 p.m. The restaurant is secured by access control in the form of a red ribbon, which is then opened for each guest. Rump steak: very good! Even if it wasn't medium but rather well done. The meat quality was okay, not excellent. Shrimp: great taste and nice and big - a bit too much fennel. Large salad with shrimps: rather small portion with only five small shrimps. Doesn't fill you up. Shrimp Carpaccio: good combination, very little for the hefty price. Chanterelle cream soup: a very liquid affair and when I asked that it could also contain a few chanterelles in one piece for the look, I was told in a relatively unfriendly manner that this was a cream soup. Fillet steak: Came as a surf & turf combo. Very good, even if the meat was not medium/rare but rather “done”. Wines: The whites and reds were all good and unfortunately all too warm. A white wine cannot taste as good at 20°. Be sure to let it cool or return it. General tip: Order olive oil and salt right at the beginning. Unfortunately, the waitress doesn't come by the table that often and it doesn't work without good olive oil. I often missed a little more salt. Of course, the impression depends on the operation. In September 2024 there were three nice girls in service. Two of them like to smile often. We had luck with one of these two nice ones on the first evening and the opposite on the second and third evenings. Do you know that feeling when you feel like you have to justify a wish? That's why we didn't make our fourth reservation and are opposite the other southerner. Nevertheless: Have fun and enjoyable moments in Del Mare and Buon Appetito!

Because of the many good reviews, I tried to get a seat this evening without a reservation. It was made possible! The food was very good. The only thing I was missing was some garlic in the foccatia. The price-performance ratio is right. The service is very friendly and helpful. Top!

We took the liberty of ordering two pizzas. After a while two people sat down at the next table. After we waited about three quarters of an hour for the food we ordered, at least the couple next to us got their ordered food. Coincidentally, you had ordered the same pizzas. Hopefully you enjoyed it. For three quarters of an hour, no one from the service staff was there, perhaps. to offer a typical island beer from the Krombacher brewery. We then ended our visit here without further ado. I'll leave the bouncer's very daring words uncommented here, but maybe. He should finish his muesli bar first. Maybe it was just stupid, but the service and professionalism are somehow different. We won't be coming back and can't recommend the restaurant in any way.

The food was very tasty but unfortunately we weren't full despite the starter because the portions were quite small. Unfortunately the service was unfriendly. We were left standing at the entrance without being greeted even though there were three employees there. Then our drink order was forgotten and attempts to draw the staff's attention to us again so that we could get the drinks failed. Overall we were disappointed with our visit.

A beautiful restaurant in Baabe that has it all. Incredibly delicious food, very friendly and understandable staff, there is also parking. Even if the prices are a little steeper than elsewhere, it is definitely worth paying a visit to Del Mare. Thin and tasty pizzas, homemade fries, perfectly fried meat. Without exception, every dish is a taste explosion and has something special. My insider tip: The Italian starter platter. An unforgettable restaurant that I enjoy visiting.
