TOP restaurant with a large selection of food and drinks. It is particularly worth mentioning that the restaurant does not close at 8 p.m., as is usual in the region. You really feel like a guest and can still order a menu at 9 p.m. Good wine selection and modern atmosphere. We've been here several times for dinner or just to drink coffee. The view of the sea from above is gigantic. At the end there was a real Italian ice cream on the house for our entire family of 5 people...

We had dinner in this restaurant this evening to round off our vacation. 2 adults and 1 child. As an aperitif we got a drink that was very tasty but outrageously expensive at 12.80. But we only found out about this when we paid at the end. If we didn't like it, we wouldn't have been charged for it. The cocktail menu wasn't priced out. The menu contained very expensive items for adults but nothing for children. Upon request, we received the pizza menu, but not a children's menu like the one displayed in the display case outside. Despite everything, a beautiful restaurant right by the sea with a view of the Baltic Sea. Unfortunately it's closing soon.....With these prices I'm not surprised.

The food was very tasty, the service was quick and friendly. We had a seat right by the window with a view of the sea. The portions could be larger for the price. The prices on the menu need to be revised. The card said €36, but it cost €42.

In addition to the delicious food, there is Müther's successful architecture! And the view of the sea... All in all, a very special experience. And finally, the delicious ice cream. Wonderful!

A great local experience, very nice first line of the sea.

A wonderful location with a great view of the Baltic Sea. Then comes the BUT...lukewarm food, spoiled ingredient, missing ingredient, the waiter asked us to show him where this ingredient was on the menu, completely overpriced salad. It was simply leaf salad with shrimps, to be exact 5 mini shrimps for 19.80 euros. A waiter wore a down jacket the entire time. I was wondering if he had cold food... Price-performance ratio is not even close here.

We were here for the first time this year. Even our children were totally thrilled. The food is a pleasure. We often eat out at home and I have to say that the taste is simply unbelievably good. The service is top! The view is great. Thank you for the amazing time with you

When you read the prices, you expect fine dining! None! Blackened olives and barely any anchovies in my salty penne puttanesca! €10.50 for a bottle of water (1 liter). Way too expensive for this average quality. The service was ok. The view was great. Still not recommended!

Ordered two of the same drinks were served in different glasses. Answer: just had no equals The wrong food was served several times at neighboring tables, conclusion: no system for serving! Service does not work effectively!

We had a spontaneous meal there last night. We got a table straight away and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Ordering drinks took a little longer. The food tasted just a bit bland. Price performance doesn't work. Negatively very cool and you get cold easily. Too darkly lit for me personally. The sanitary facilities were very negative. Very dirty broken, no toilet paper and no paper towels. Both for women and for men.

Complete disappointment, you sit very well, have a wonderful view of the Baltic Sea, then your view is clouded by kitchen smoke. Fast friendly service! Nice welcome and jacket collection, then brought to the table. We particularly enjoyed eating in peace on the upper floor. Payment is then made below. The nice ambience crowns the evening. We'll be back!

If you really want to eat delicious fish and drink something for a lot of expensive money, in a loud canteen atmosphere and cold train station air, and also want to enjoy the wonderful view of the Baltic Sea through dirty windows and have your child sit in a disgustingly dirty high chair and have their diaper changed on the drafty toilet floor If you want to, then this restaurant is your first choice!

A restaurant with a very nice view, very slow service and cold pike-perch fillet with lots of bones. For the price quoted, I expect at least sufficient quality in the service and in the kitchen. The drink order took half an hour to arrive and the food arrived after 90 minutes. There were five of us, and three pike-perch fillets were already served cold and with very few side dishes. What I also mean by a fillet is almost bone-free meat... Not recommended in terms of price/performance.

The ambience was okay. But the “strawberry sundae” was really the crowning glory. There wasn't a strawberry in that sundae. I've never experienced it before. For us, this is called mixed ice cream with cream and costs around €6.50 not 12 or 13 € Once and never again!!!!!

We had to wait there because the boss at the checkout had to take private photos first. This place didn't convince me

During the day there is an “entertainer” in front of the restaurant who is supposed to lure passing holidaymakers into the shop. Pretty annoying in the long run if you walk past the promenade several times. Once a person who was well known to the employees there was even asked loudly why he didn't want ice cream now. When we read the Google reviews, we were glad we didn't set foot in the store. In addition, all the positive reviews here on Google Maps are noticeable. Predominantly foreign names give a full five stars, while apparently German names (and therefore also the actual holidaymakers in the region) are critical. Are positive comments being bought here? The suspicion is obvious.

Taking down reviews that only tell true stories is also slander

Basically the only good thing was the taste of my food. The ambience? That of a rescue tower from GDR times. Prices are higher due to the location (right on the beach). A greeting from the kitchen? None. It can't be the case that there are no flush fittings and no towels in the women's toilet (according to my wife). For men, the towel dispenser is completely missing. That was my first and last visit?

The only thing that was good about our visit was the pizza with fresh ingredients and the view of the Baltic Sea. Otherwise, excessive drink prices annoyed Keller who thought they had to sing along loudly with the music being way too loud. Food prices are generally too high.

Waited an hour for food (pasta). Then ask. Been forgotten. Suddenly there after 4 minutes. Lukewarm. Tiny portion. Lofty description on the card. But it really gave the impression of finished goods. Totally overpriced drinks. Staff tries hard but seems overwhelmed. All in all, the worst thing I've experienced in years. The view is of course a dream. But I can't recommend eating or drinking.

The ambience: brilliant. The staff: very friendly. The food: overpriced, little, not good. Absolutely unreasonable for the prices (0.25l beer for €5.30, Spaghetti Aglio e Olio for €13.80). Criticism was completely rejected. Not recommended.

5.80 for a dry piece of cake... the same for a cup of coffee.. . 3 tables occupied and a long wait. An impudence. Pure rip-off. That doesn't make up for the view either

High prices, poor performance. Ordered 0.5 beer - 0.4 delivered. After making a comment, the waiter brought another 0.25ml extra. Bruschetta: narrow slices of a 0815 Kaufland baguette - felt burnt in the toaster. The main course only came after ages. 3 out of 4 meals were lukewarm to cold. Things weren't going any better at the next tables. Sometimes the man eats everything until the woman gets something to eat... The staff is completely overwhelmed.

Absolutely recommended restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious, not only does it have the tastiest pizza on the island, but also delicious and perfectly prepared cocktails. A big compliment to the service staff – everyone was very friendly, attentive and helpful. The location of the restaurant is simply unbeatable, right by the sea with a fantastic view. An unforgettable experience not to be missed!

We were there with a group and had registered in advance. The view was amazing! Unfortunately the food was a flop. We waited two hours until all the dishes (pizzas) were there. Some of them were still muddy. We weren't asked if we would like anything else to drink. Sometimes we were asked three times what we had ordered again. There wasn't even an espresso as an apology. We were rudely told that it was normal to wait two hours for pizza until the boss arrived. In the end the bill wasn't right either and they wanted to charge us more than we had eaten. Definitely not recommended.

First I'll try to see the positive: Great ambience! The waiters are extremely friendly and the prices are incredibly expensive, I don't think that's justified. We asked by phone 6 hours in advance whether we could accommodate 19 guests at once: “Obviously no problem.” We're happy when it works out at such short notice. But that you then wait 2 hours for the food, which is quite intense (and then not everyone gets their food at the same time: sad.). 3 people ordered pizza with tuna, two of which were undercooked (the dough was soggy); The person whose dough with tuna was done sat up in the evening... and everything came out again. And thank God, the other person with unfinished pizza, who had only tried it to some extent, had his body react with his heart racing, his lips were slightly swollen and his throat was also swollen. The end comes with the bill, one cocktail and one bruschetta were overcharged. Advertised in-house aperitifs were billed as cocktails and there were no prices on the cocktail menu. All in all, it's run by people who have no idea, based on the principle that we won't see the people again. In the end, some people had items added to their invoice that they hadn't even ordered, just to get their incorrect bookings paid for. An outrage!!!

Where do I start.. I'll start with the good, the view is nice, the staff is nice.. Now the bad... We were there with 19 people, we waited 2 1/2 hours for the food, 15 of us had already eaten while 4 hadn't even had the food yet... you get a whole 10 Gnioccis if you order them, which won't fill you up, but at least They were delicious, but that was it. There was only one cook there and when making a reservation you could have said that there were too many of us for one cook. And to top it off, the last pizza wasn't even cooked. In addition, you are offered an alcoholic drink directly, "the best of the house" without mentioning a price (€12.90). The alcohol menu also has no prices on it. Short version we will not come here again

The food wasn't that good at all, at least when we asked we didn't have to pay for the salad. The ambience is not bad, at least the view of the Baltic Sea is great, but the rest, well, you could do a lot more with it.

Even just before the end of the day, the staff are in a good mood, extremely friendly and courteous, and the atmosphere in the Ulrich Müther Building is something very special, and the view rivals the delicious food and drinks. Lots of reasons to enjoy coming here and pampering your guests for many years to come.

The food tasted very good, both the pasta and the squid rings. The staff is super nice and friendly and we were invited to a "tour" of the island paradise in the afternoon without any obligation. The old building is a listed building and gave us a lot of fun as a big disco back in the early 80s.

The view, the food & the service was just perfect. Eating out there completely rounded off my birthday. I've never had such good pizza anywhere.

Plaice on Mediterranean vegetables was the best plaice I have ever eaten. Service is super nice. You feel warmly welcome. The view of the sea is free. The building is architecturally interesting because there is only one supporting column in the middle of the building.

Absolutely annoying when you walk past you are constantly being harassed to eat an ice cream (at least two euros a little ball) if you have children you can't get rid of these guys at all. There are no prices for ice cream sundaes and drinks anywhere, an absolute rip-off club as you can read here in other reviews. I know the island paradise from previous visits, a good tenant hasn't really been there yet, but these Italians now... underground, they want to get filthy rich in a year. There are a lot of good restaurants on Strandstrasse and they are much cheaper. You should avoid the island paradise...

Cheaply made Italian restaurant by wannabe Italians at completely overpriced prices. Unfortunately, the ambition there is greater than the talent. Also annoying are the persistent attempts to guide guests into the restaurant and bring them all to the upper floor, even though they want to sit outside. Never again…

Beautiful view of the Baltic Sea, but the quality and prices differ too much...

I recently visited the island paradise in Baabe with my family and unfortunately our experience was disappointing. On the way to the beach we were spoken to by the staff, which was meant to be friendly, but in this case seemed rather intrusive. The pizzas we ordered were a big disappointment. They were more reminiscent of tomato sauce on dough than a real pizza. The price-performance ratio is not right here at all. That's probably why there are a lot fewer guests here than at the other restaurants where there are almost no seats left. Even if you want a 0.3 liter Coke to take with you to the beach: for €4.80 you're better off using the restaurants in the immediate vicinity, as a 0.5 liter Coke costs just €2.50 here. Overall, I cannot recommend the restaurant. There are much better alternatives in the area. We will definitely continue to use other restaurants in the future.

We stayed here twice this year during our vacation in Baabe! Since 2017 we have only come once every year and have never been here before - and we really regret that! The “recruiters” made us a little skeptical at first, but the surprise that followed was great! On the first evening the kids had carbonara with real pancetta, salami pizza and my husband and I also had pizza. I had one from the second page of the pizza menu, filled with grilled zucchini, spicy salami, incredibly aromatic tomatoes and mozzarella, covered with lots of crispy fresh rocket 👍 The house rosé wasn't that cheap, but delicious! On the second evening there was bruschetta, the kids had another salami pizza, Aglio Oglio, the beef onglet for my husband and the fish plate for me! The pizzas were always really great, the meat was tender and the sauce was excellent and the fish was also tender, juicy, the pike perch was translucent and the vegetables were super tasty! I uploaded a lot of photos at the same time, just take a look. We also had desserts, including the Baumkuchen with whiskey ice cream and that was phenomenal! The house cocktail Pinkerton is also highly recommended, you have to guess what's in it, it's a little game from the service staff - who we found to be very friendly and attentive. The decoration in the restaurant matches the overall style, the view is wonderful, especially at dusk! There is a slight deduction in the B grade for the ambience for the entrance and checkout area, as there is still some potential for development. For us, some of the reviews given here are incomprehensible. We were there with two children (6 and 12), twice in a row and didn't have a single bad experience 🤷‍♀️

Disaster!!! Stay away from this store!!! I had dinner there with my family and we ordered zander fillet twice and the fish plate once. We received a mini portion, which is just outrageous for the price. In addition, the fish had no taste and was dry. The side dish consisted of 5 small potato wedges and 3 mini vegetable wedges that were additionally drowned in oil and had apparently been sitting there for days. My sister had stomach cramps from eating all evening... There are also no prices on the drinks menu. Danger! Ask urgently. We were offered a special drink (it was just a small orange juice with sparkling wine) for which we paid €13. When we expressed our displeasure about the food, we were written to and insulted...
