TOP restaurant with a large selection of food and drinks. They give it their all and special mention should be made of them. the shop does not close at 8 p.m. as is usual in the region. You really feel like a guest and can still order food at 9 p.m.!! And for!! At the end, the 5 of us were even invited to have some ice cream on the house. Thank you!!!!,!!!!!!!:!!:,?,

Absolutely annoying when you walk past you are constantly being harassed to eat an ice cream (at least two euros a little ball) if you have children you can't get rid of these guys at all. There are no prices for ice cream sundaes and drinks anywhere, an absolute rip-off club as you can read here in other reviews. I know the island paradise from previous visits, a good tenant hasn't really been there yet, but these Italians now... underground, they want to get filthy rich in a year. There are a lot of good restaurants on Strandstrasse and they are much cheaper. You should avoid the island paradise...

The atmosphere there is very nice and the food tastes good too, BUT The service didn't work at all. We ordered drinks several times and never got them. The day before, they also offered us a teramisu for €45, which we accepted. They then wanted to take the part from us for €65 and voluntarily went down €10, which we still thought was cheeky that we were being lied to and cheated like that. The teramisu would have cost even less than €55 for 4 people, which only made the whole thing even more fraudulent. The staff also doesn't deal well with criticism. When we told the waiter that you get a 180g portion for a main course, it was just sad for a full-grown man. We were then shouted at as we walked THIS RESTAURANT IS NOT RECOMMENDED

Cheaply made Italian restaurant by wannabe Italians at completely overpriced prices. Unfortunately, the ambition there is greater than the talent. Also annoying are the persistent attempts to guide guests into the restaurant and bring them all to the upper floor, even though they want to sit outside. Never again…

We ate here as a couple and the food was wonderful, the service was really exceptional. Very nice staff, prices are appropriate for the location and quality 👍🏾 We reserved a table for Monday. Really recommended 👌🏾

I recently visited the island paradise in Baabe with my family and unfortunately our experience was disappointing. On the way to the beach we were spoken to by the staff, which was meant to be friendly, but in this case seemed rather intrusive. The pizzas we ordered were a big disappointment. They were more reminiscent of tomato sauce on dough than a real pizza. The price-performance ratio is not right here at all. That's probably why there are a lot fewer guests here than at the other restaurants where there are almost no seats left. Even if you want a 0.3 liter Coke to take with you to the beach: for €4.80 you're better off using the restaurants in the immediate vicinity, as a 0.5 liter Coke costs just €2.50 here. Overall, I cannot recommend the restaurant. There are much better alternatives in the area. We will definitely continue to use other restaurants in the future.

We stayed here twice this year during our vacation in Baabe! Since 2017 we have only come once every year and have never been here before - and we really regret that! The “recruiters” made us a little skeptical at first, but the surprise that followed was great! On the first evening the kids had carbonara with real pancetta, salami pizza and my husband and I also had pizza. I had one from the second page of the pizza menu, filled with grilled zucchini, spicy salami, incredibly aromatic tomatoes and mozzarella, covered with lots of crispy fresh rocket 👍 The house rosé wasn't that cheap, but delicious! On the second evening there was bruschetta, the kids had another salami pizza, Aglio Oglio, the beef onglet for my husband and the fish plate for me! The pizzas were always really great, the meat was tender and the sauce was excellent and the fish was also tender, juicy, the pike perch was translucent and the vegetables were super tasty! I uploaded a lot of photos at the same time, just take a look. We also had desserts, including the Baumkuchen with whiskey ice cream and that was phenomenal! The house cocktail Pinkerton is also highly recommended, you have to guess what's in it, it's a little game from the service staff - who we found to be very friendly and attentive. The decoration in the restaurant matches the overall style, the view is wonderful, especially at dusk! There is a slight deduction in the B grade for the ambience for the entrance and checkout area, as there is still some potential for development. For us, some of the reviews given here are incomprehensible. We were there with two children (6 and 12), twice in a row and didn't have a single bad experience 🤷‍♀️

Disaster!!! Stay away from this store!!! I had dinner there with my family and we ordered zander fillet twice and the fish plate once. We received a mini portion, which is just outrageous for the price. In addition, the fish had no taste and was dry. The side dish consisted of 5 small potato wedges and 3 mini vegetable wedges that were additionally drowned in oil and had apparently been sitting there for days. My sister had stomach cramps from eating all evening... There are also no prices on the drinks menu. Danger! Ask urgently. We were offered a special drink (it was just a small orange juice with sparkling wine) for which we paid €13. When we expressed our displeasure about the food, we were written to and insulted...

We can't help but rave about this incredibly awesome restaurant. Everything went wonderfully for us. The atmosphere was good, the food was really delicious (especially the tiramisu is to die for) and the cocktails were also very tasty. Of course, it may not be the cheapest restaurant here, but the overall impression makes up for everything and is definitely worth spending an evening here and enjoying the view of the beautiful beach with good music and delicious cocktails and dishes! Another positive point was that the boss and staff did their best to make everything happen to our complete satisfaction. You can keep it up! We will be back! And thank you.

Never experienced anything so bad. The food was so bad, the staff was endlessly unfriendly and there was no one there.

Just bad!!!! We waited an hour for our food, unfortunately the wait wasn't worth it. Zander fillet for €26.50 was dry and unseasoned. There were also rosemary potatoes without rosemary and fatty vegetables. Fish plate for €36.00 (see picture) was outrageous and tasted a disaster. Half not touched!!! Pizza and rump steak were ok. The manager responded to our criticism with shouting and threats. P.S. Be careful, there are two “Italians” outside trying to lure guests into the restaurant! A good restaurant doesn't need that ;)

We were in the island paradise again. We were very positively surprised! The service was sensational, the food was very good. 👍🏼 There's no need to talk about the view, all of these old GDR objects have this very specific charm with the glass front. To get to the point, go in and test it, you'll be amazed! 😎👍🏼

We stopped in spontaneously and got a table upstairs even without a reservation. The view is fantastic. At the beginning the waiter presented an aperitif, which unfortunately I didn't fully understand. There were no prices on the menu either. We then ordered pizza. After a wait that was a little too long for us, the pizza arrived. Unfortunately our child's pizza was wrong. However, this was sorted out quickly and courteously. Pizza tasted excellent. The prices are a bit expensive but acceptable for the quality of the food.

We were there on August 15, 2023. The location right by the sea, there's nothing to say about it. The food was great, especially the medallions...cheeky (positive) and creative. The service was also great (because we were told directly that new employees are being trained, it's clear that maybe not everything is in place yet, that's what they're in training for). When we are back in Baabe, we will definitely come back. Keep it up.

I've been visiting the restaurant for two weeks, I'm sure it's the most beautiful restaurant in the Baltic Sea resort, everything is fresh and clean and the service was especially wonderful. In the end I don't have any words to tell, from Munich🇩🇪🇲🇦.

The food was tasty, but also priced at a higher level. The view was probably priced in. The cost of the drinks was also in the upper range of what was reasonable. The guests' wishes were fulfilled immediately. However, the service seems slightly intrusive. The toilets were so-so. You should at least offer paper towels or a handheld air dryer. The panoramic view and the architecture of the building are unsurpassable. For fire protection, the building has an external staircase as a second structural escape and rescue route. There is a big plus for that.

Nice location, great view, but that's about it. Way too loud and 4 waiters just running back and forth without a plan. Completely overpriced for the perfectly normal food. Never again. Cleanliness is limited. Started weak and slowed down a lot.

Here is the original review: We ate sea buckthorn ice cream here on our walk in the evening. As already noted in the other reviews, it is rather difficult to get the waiter's attention...at least we got an ice cream that made up for the wait in terms of taste. We are passionate ice cream eaters and this ice cream was some of the best we have ever tasted. However, the price (€1.50/ball) and the corresponding size of the portion are a bit outrageous. The ball is the absolute minimum size, the ice cream spoon is even wiped all around so that you never end up with more than the small contents of the ice cream spoon. I've never experienced anything like that anywhere. Incredibly stingy.

The staff is super warm and open, they radiate a warmth that you know from Italy.

We were there on Friday for my birthday. We still know the building where it was empty and wanted to get an impression of what has become of it!! It turned out very nice, but the rest doesn't work at all!! We ate two sundaes 🍨 and drank two non-alcoholic COCKTAILS 🍸. And when the bill came for €51.20, the day was over. Ice cream sundae €14.80 and the non-alcoholic cocktail €10.80!! There are no prices mentioned in the cocktail menu and not for the ice cream sundaes either, if you ask you don't get an answer!! Unlikable and completely overpriced!!

Wonderful, we made reservations for our birthday dinner, received a particularly beautifully decorated table and congratulations from all the employees. The food was excellent and the service excellent, attentive, quick and with warm friendliness. We will be back.

We have known the island paradise since 2017. You don't actually need the many fake reviews from 4 days ago (and with original photos)... In summary: just put a lot of effort into the service and it will work. The pizza tastes super delicious. The current 3.7 stars also reflect the eventful history. The first 2 years everything was great (lunch & dinner). Then the operator changed & closed & Corona and the quality went downhill. We avoided the island paradise for the time being. We weren't put off by the many bad reviews recently because we knew that the view was great. So we reserved a table and hoped that at least the pizza would still taste good. Drinks and pizza came quickly and pizza tasted very good. Although there wasn't much going on, the service was a bit chaotic. At first very attentive, then a little careless. The coordination between the waiters is sometimes not right. But it didn't bother us much. As I said, we only had pizza and it was really tasty. Typically Italian. We can't judge the rest of the dishes. The only drawback to the panoramic view: when it's very warm, it's really hot at the top. However, the lack of sun protection is probably due to monument protection.

Really! I absolutely cannot understand some of the bad reviews. Of course, "cheap" is different, but hey - if you want to eat cheaply, you should just order something from Lieferando to take home to your dark living room! We were guests in the panoramic restaurant yesterday evening and received a very friendly welcome! All wishes were taken into account (even our son's somewhat unusual wishes). The view is breathtaking, the food was simply delicious (we all had pizza - the tomato sauce has its own seasoning, it seems to me - incredibly good!), the waiters were very accommodating and child-friendly (our little one was seated as soon as she took her seat). We brought a booster seat without asking! Very attentive!), everything was clean. The non-alcoholic cocktails were a bit too sweet for me, but that's just a matter of taste. By the way: someone here writes negatively about the Hawaiian pizza with peaches: anyone who can read has a clear advantage ;) . Apart from the fact that the menu mentions a special Hawaiian pizza, it clearly states under the name what the toppings are for that pizza. If you want the classic ham with pineapple, you just have to order the other pizza “Tropical”! ;) So open your eyes. In short - anyone who has to complain like some of the previous speakers have probably had a bad day or should take action on their own behavior, because how it echoes into the forest.... :) We would like to come again!

First the pleasant things: the view of the Baltic Sea from the pavilion is great. But that was it... The pictures of the restaurant from the website do not match the current situation. There are no tablecloths and the table decorations were completely missing when we visited the restaurant. The aperitif that was kindly talked to us was fruity, but it wasn't a Pinkerton, which was later shown on the bill. The food - gnocchi and porcini mushroom risotto - was mediocre. The gnocchi was soft on the outside and quite firm on the inside and the porcini mushroom risotto consisted of undercooked rice without the usual creamy consistency filled with (apparently) chicken stock. At least the porcini mushrooms tasted like mushrooms and had a bit of a bite to them. Before ordering, we recommend taking a look at the drinks menu or at least asking about the prices - especially for the drinks. The so-called Pinkerton was charged at 12.80 euros per piece, which we find almost borderline rip-off... We probably won't be making a second visit to this restaurant.

I celebrated a wonderful birthday here. The food and drinks were terrific, served with love. The highlight was the birthday cake baked especially for me, which was served with serenades and sparklers. The restaurant is highly recommended.

Italian restaurant in an exciting architectural monument from 1965, which is absolutely worth seeing. The service is extremely courteous and friendly. The food was very good, the view over the sea from the huge window front is unique. We would love to come back.

We were a group where we couldn't/were not all allowed to order at the same time or the 6 children were given priority. I had a risotto that was purple (no idea where the purple comes from) which was drowned in cheap white wine. It tasted so much like white wine that you would have been drunk if you ate it. I sent it back and canceled the rest of our order (pizza and dry spaghetti). We waited for over 1.5 hours and asked twice about the dry spaghetti for our baby (2 years). We then bought pizza 200 meters away at a good price and was super tasty and enjoyed it in the hotel. The waiters were unprofessional, rude and only moderately fluent in German. Communication was difficult, orders were “forgotten” or simply ignored. Glasses were cleared away when they were empty but no one asked if we wanted more. The restaurant has so much potential thanks to its direct location on the beach with the right operators and good cuisine and service. We won't come back as long as the same operators run the place!!! Another thing to note: 2 tables with 5 people each stood up because they weren't served. So we weren't the only ones dissatisfied.

We were a large group and had 5 tables. The reservation was made 1/2 year in advance. The orders were very hesitant. 1-2 tables got the main course, the others hadn't even placed their orders yet. The waitress didn't know which table the order was placed at. One had the impression that the restaurant had only been open since yesterday and everything had yet to settle in. My husband had zander fillet for 26.00 euros, which you could look for on the plate as well as the side dish (4 small pieces of potato wedges). There is something positive, my spaghetti carbonara was great. We waited about 20-30 minutes for drinks to be reordered and pointed this out to the waitress. But if you realize that you are overwhelmed with so many guests, it is the wrong way to take it out on the guests. Nevertheless, I wish you good luck for the future. Doris Leermann

Our annual trip with our Störti group promised some highlights again this time, including a visit to the Inselparadis restaurant. After a wonderful day, we agreed to meet for dinner at 6 p.m. in the Panorama Restaurant. The first impression, which was very elegant, led us to hope for delicious food. However, the distribution of the drinks ordered was a bit chaotic; unfortunately the waiters didn't know who ordered what. The starter came very quickly and was ok, but not outstanding. An hour passed before we could order the main course. Many other guests who came much later had already had their food. After 1.45 hours our food finally arrived, or rather what they called it. I had a fish soup that unfortunately you couldn't eat, it was totally salty, without fish there were only a few mussels, probably from a can, nothing else to be found, the totally salty broth was more like washing up water. I reported it to the waiter, he took the soup back and after another 1/4 hour brought me the same soup in another container. I found that unbelievable, I asked him to taste it, he refused. I said I couldn't eat it, he told me to take it off the bill. I also noticed that things weren't going well at all the tables, but that has already been described here and I don't want to repeat it. We waited another 45 minutes to be able to pay. The payment was the next chaos, endless discussions, no understanding, insults and of course the fish soup was on the bill. It's a shame such a great restaurant with an incredible view of the Baltic Sea is in such incompetent hands. So we left the restaurant hungry and in a very bad mood. I'm still looking forward to my next visit to the Baltic Sea, but definitely not in this restaurant. Unfortunately I can't recommend it.

I have never experienced a visit to a restaurant like this. We pre-booked a table for 4 people a week before our visit. On June 29th We then went to the restaurant at 7 p.m. and were first forced to hang up our clothes. We then learned that our table had to be prepared first. When we arrived at the table we waited about 20 minutes so we could get the cards. Our order for drinks was taken after a while and at some point they arrived. Instead of ordering the food straight away, we had to wait at least 15 minutes. The order was 2x tomato soup, 1x bruscetta and 2x spaghetti aglio e olio. Nothing elaborate, but we waited again. The next table was then informed that the spaghetti had run out. When we got our food, we could hardly believe our eyes. Apparently a small amount of spaghetti was found, which was then shared between two adults. Not even a child would get enough of it. The plates were then cleared away very quickly. When we asked for the bill we were asked whether it was cash or card. We decided to pay in cash. And wait again... After another 15 minutes of waiting, we got up and wanted to go downstairs to pay with EC. We were hoping that this would go faster. Now the waitress finally responded. We were almost yelled at as to why we just went downstairs. At least the payment worked then. Conclusion - we have been to this restaurant several times and have always received good service. But this time NOTHING worked. It is absolutely no longer recommended. Even the view through dirty window panes couldn't make up for the unfriendliness and overly expensive food. Very unfortunate

We all know it... a beautiful day on the Baltic Sea with friends and family and then everyone hungry in a restaurant that I had reserved for our group six months in advance. We were there with 20 adults and 8 children. Unfortunately, this size of the group was too big of a challenge for the staff! Some of the food came to the table lukewarm/cold. However, I ate it anyway because I was very hungry. Only one person was satisfied with the taste. It ranged from a lack of salt on the fries to far too much salt on the fish soup (in which you searched for the fish in vain). A risotto that definitely didn't live up to its name was still soaked in cheap wine that you would probably have to detoxify afterwards... The Wiener Schnitzel was also borderline bad. He also only ate my husband's Frutti di Mare pizza out of pure hunger. Unfortunately, the entire pizza was full of water and soggy in the middle, probably from the frozen Frutti di Mare. It actually ranged from noodles that were too hard to soft, a portion of pike perch for €27, which was smaller than my son's portion of fish fingers with fries for €12.50!?! When we first expressed criticism, the response was immediately very unprofessional. After one of our group only got salt and pepper after 15 minutes (also only because I got up to get it myself) his spaghetti carbonara was cold, he gave it back and politely asked for a new portion, which was not a problem at first, But then the waiter came back and said the plate was still warm enough for him and whether he would like to try it again... he politely said no and a new portion came 30 minutes later. It was lukewarm again...but we ate it anyway out of hunger. I could go on about everything that went wrong with the meal, but I'm assuming that the people themselves are doing the same. There was another bit of chaos when paying because the table numbers didn't work. We were supposed to pay for food that was returned or didn't even reach our table because some of the group had simply had enough after 2 hours. Including a little mouse who just wanted to eat spaghetti bianco, even that didn't happen... Unfortunately, we hardly have any photos of the food. When we refused to pay for these meals, we were threatened with the police... perhaps they should have actually done so. We have never experienced anything like this in over 10 years with such a large group!! The boss and boss were unfriendly, insulting and simply the highest form of unprofessionalism. I was insulted in Italian. However, I would also like to mention positive things: The view from the restaurant is sensational! This is really really beautiful! We were warmly welcomed by a very nice waiter, who is the bar manager at this location. He later presented himself as really helpful and competent! He was really super nice and tried to mediate between hungry and dissatisfied guests and unreasonable managers! When we praised him to the boss, they also reacted very offended. I really hope he doesn't have any disadvantages because he came to help us. But also positive feedback on the food. My pasta was super tasty, a bit aldente, but very, very tasty. Unfortunately, I was the only one who enjoyed it. In summary, I would like to say that I have never been so disappointed after visiting a restaurant. All we can say is that it's a shame that such a great location is run by such kind of people! So Samy, if you're reading this, we were really excited about you! You are a super nice and warm person! I hope you don't have any trouble from us! If that were the case, I know that many restaurateurs on the island would fight for such a great employee! You reacted really well, communicated well and tried to defuse the whole situation! I hope they appreciate you!

We have never eaten such bad pizza, Hawaiian pizza with peach! Pizza Rustica was not recognizable as such. Pizza pepperoni was just terrible and greasy! 🤮 When you pay, the tip will be kept straight away! ☹️

We spent 2 weeks on vacation in Baabe and ate with you often. We would like to say thank you again for everything. Great food, great facility and of course super nice employees. Will definitely recommend you!!!!! We will probably see each other again . GlG Maik and Silke

We actually wanted to stay there for a coffee, but since my wife first asked about the toilet, we were immediately shown the door because there were public toilets 100m away. We will definitely avoid this location in the future if things like this happen.

Nice location but long waiting times and excessive prices

Coffee and “cake with cream” (a lemon cake and a red wine cake) for €21.20! Cake was very dry, at least 3 days old, the cream was runny. At least the coffee was ok. And I waited for over half an hour... without words. The only "good thing" was the view...

An extremely cozy restaurant with a sea view on the island of Rügen. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

2x 2 scoops in the waffle for 2 euros per scoop is expensive, but if the ice cream tastes good, that's okay. It actually tasted good, but it wasn't any better than in ice cream parlors with a scoop price of €1.50 For street sales, however, it is absolutely necessary that the balls are pressed firmly into the waffle so that they do not fall out at the first touch, as happened with my partner. It is also an advantage if the seller knows the language and understands it. I couldn't see this or a certain basic organization here today, because he didn't have any napkins or the second waffle ready, even though I had explained to him beforehand that I wanted two waffles :( I then offered him to order in English. He then said that he knew German...nope, he didn't 😀

Discovered by chance. Unique atmosphere, nice and courteous waiter. The boss is always trying hard and asks the guests if everything is okay or if they need anything. Pizza and gnocci with cheese filling were incredibly tasty. Price performance is absolutely okay because the food is cooked with fresh ingredients. The next day we were there again to drink cocktails in this extraordinary atmosphere (Pinacolada & DetectivePinkerton), also great and again super nice staff. Definitely on the list again for the next vacation.

Extremely expensive. Small portions that taste very mediocre. The pizza is actually the exception, it tastes good and is big enough (and expensive). You can tell that it doesn't just come out of the freezer. The staff is very friendly and direct. The view is fantastic.
