Ristorante Dantom in Bonn

A small but excellent restaurant that I visited for the first time, and I also invited friends over for dinner; there were ten of us. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was very friendly. Besides Eritrean/African specialties, they also offer a wide selection of Italian dishes. I would gladly go there again.

The simple interior is deceptive – we weren't expecting anything special. But the food was not only delicious, but also seasoned with a touch of coziness and warmth. A friendly man took our order, and a woman with a warm smile prepared the food. The prices are very reasonable – definitely worth a visit for lunch!

The food was outstanding! A colorful selection of different sauces and vegetables - authentic in taste, spicy and lovingly prepared. I particularly enjoyed the okra ragout, which was nicely seasoned. The side dishes such as the vegetables and spinach were also very aromatic. You can tell that people cook with a lot of heart here. Absolutely recommended

Don't expecte to get absolutly reall ethiopian food like enjira, but this restaurant is better than the one i tied in frankfurt.

Teff is probably the most important ingredient in Ethiopian cuisine. Communal eating is typical, where dishes are shared on an injera. Ethiopia's fasting traditions also encourage a wide range of vegan and vegetarian options. Another cultural highlight is the traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony.

A rare opportunity for coffee lovers made from their own roasted beans. Moreover, the grains are supplied from Eritrea. The cuisine is also wonderful - a mix of national Eritrean and Italian dishes. The presence of Italian dishes is no coincidence - Eritrea was under the Italian sphere of influence for many years, and Italian cuisine not only took root, but was also supplemented with local additions. Recommended definitely try. The pleasant, friendly atmosphere and colorful decoration of the hall in the national style are conducive to a good time. There is an outdoor area, and the tables in the hall are quite spacious.

Very tasty food. The pizza is delicious. We tried "Dantom pizza". Delicious. Large. One is enough for two. We also tried coffee. Coffee is from Eritrea. Really delicious!!! The staff is very friendly. The interior is very cool! I highly recommend this restaurant and will come back.

Absolutely authentic and extremely good food.

We happened upon it, sat down and ordered a plate + beef Signi FitFit + 1L of cola. This was served with sour flat bread. It was really tasty, :) And not too spicy, but that's what it says if it is spicy. A lot more people should go.

We love ordering food here. The meat is very tender, the sauces are really well seasoned and the flatbread tastes great with it! Unfortunately we have never been to the restaurant but from the outside it looks super authentic inside!

There were four of us there and we had an unforgettable evening. Father in service, daughter at the bar and mom in the kitchen. We would be greeted so warmly. We don't have to talk about the food. It was was perfect. Soooo delicious and the first restaurant where we had to have it packed. We keep coming back.

Wenn es uns wieder einmal nach Bonn verschlagen sollte, werden wir auf jeden Fall auch hier wieder diese tolle eritreische und äthiopischen Küche genießen! Viel viel Fett. Gehört u.U. So, aber ich denke man könnte das ein wenig verändern. Geschmacklich gut, aber das Rind war etwas zäh. Entweder schlechte Qualität, zu durch gegrillt oder zu kurz gekocht. Würde ich wieder bestellen ja. Für 5 Sterne fehlt aber wenig.

Ich hatte die vegetarische Platte. Sehr, sehr lecker und viel Essen.

Definitiv eine wahre Empfehlung von mir. Ich bin begeistert, wie lecker das Essen ist. Da ich Vegetarier bin hab ich wirklich selten so eine vielfältige Auswahl. Die vegetarische Platte ist wirklich das absolute Maximum, was man essen kann. man bekommt einen Einblick in etwa 4-5 Gerichte. Hier komme ich sehr gerne wieder hin, wenn ich in der Nähe bin.

Obwohl ich schon länger in der Nachbarschaft des Dantom wohne, habe ich es erst vor kurzem das erste Mal getestet. Und kurz darauf direkt noch einmal! Das Essen ist wirklich etwas anderes als all das "Einerlei", das man in vielen anderen Läden findet. Das Injera-Brot, das ähnlich Sauerteig schmeckt, liebe ich! Aber auch Signi, Tsebhi Dinish und die vegetarische Platte sind toll! Da wir beide Male bestellt haben, kann ich zu den Besitzern und dem Laden selbst noch nicht viel sagen, aber ein Besuch wird bald nachgeholt!

Es gibt sehr leckere Essen im Dantom - ein weltoffener Familienbetrieb!

Ich bin sehr angetan vom Dantom Restaurant. Hier bestelle ich häufig Burger und Pommes. Die 180 Gramm Beef Burger sind frisch und saftig. Sehr lecker. Das Gleiche gilt für die Pommes. Der Service ist angenehm und freundlich. Demnächst werde ich auch die eritreische Küche probieren. WEITER SO, auch wenn ihr momentan durch den Lockdown sicherlich eine Durststrecke durchlebt. UPDATE: Salat, Pasta, Pizza auch alles top, vor allem auch da immer FRISCH.
