Unfortunately, we can't give a good recession. What should be highlighted is the service, the service at the table and even special requests were well implemented. Small deduction: The glass of wine we ordered was forgotten. The starter from the daily menu was ok. There were 3 variations of bruschetta. The quantity was just right and delicious. The main course, however, was a disaster! Also from the daily menu there should be gnocchi with truffle filling with walnuts, apricot jam and rocket (it could also have been spinach), all in a cream sauce. Plus strips of beef fillet, which we replaced with prawns. The prawns were very good, but the gnocchi came in a creamy mush that overwhelmed everything in terms of taste. In any case, you couldn't taste any of the truffle. It's really a shame and for the price of 24.90 euros it's clearly too expensive. Ambiance is ok, but very loud and busy. We'll definitely come back to Emden, but Da Sergio won't see us again (no matter where).

Unfortunately, people with walking difficulties cannot access the restaurant. Because there is no possibility for people with wheelchairs or walkers to get into the restaurant. Unfortunately there are only stairs. For a restaurant with such high standards, this is shameful.

Top in all respects. Nice team Modern atmosphere You immediately feel comfortable And what is of course not unimportant, the food was first class. Starter, main course and dessert were finger-licking. Only disadvantage: The food was eaten too quickly because it was so good. Nice selection of drinks, my Hefeweizen and my mistress's wine were of course optimally chilled and poured into the glass. 😆 Children's menu available. Our little one was treated warmly. If Emden wasn't so ugly, we would definitely come back. Kind regards to the team.

Disappointing! Inspired by the positive reviews, we ate at da Sergio. Reserved online and even had it confirmed again by phone, but in the end we got there and, contrary to our express wishes and confirmation, were seated in the darkest corner for the table we wanted, even though we wanted to celebrate a special occasion. Our table simply wasn't reserved, we were told we were unlucky. In addition to this unsympathetic place, there were dirty cutlery and the plates didn't have the ingredients that were on the menu, half of the vegetables etc. were missing, instead you found things that weren't on the menu. Taste is a matter of opinion, but 100 cloves of garlic are no substitute for a lack of seasoning, simply put together carelessly. Unfortunately, the dessert also flopped, one even tasted as if an ingredient had gone sour or was simply no longer edible. Two of our guests actually had “problems” after eating. In my opinion you shouldn't confuse the 5 star location with the quality of the food, because that definitely seems to depend on the day or the chef! We won't be coming back to eat, except for a bottled drink in the outdoor area in the summer, because it's worth a visit. It's a shame Sergio, we had hoped for more.

We were there with a group of 24 people. The table was reserved for a long time, unfortunately two seats were missing. Due to the size of the group, the food had already been ordered at lunchtime and after an hour of waiting, the food would be served. Here too, 3 dishes were missing, which were added after 45 minutes! Drinks were ordered at our request; in my opinion, the service team was completely overwhelmed. 5 people from our group had to leave after eating, the "guests" who remained at the table were asked to clear the table so that the next group could sit there. I'm still at a loss for words. The food was great, but the surroundings weren't good at all. Too bad

We stayed at “Da Sergio” based on a recommendation, but we don’t recommend it ourselves. First of all: the location is very nice and seems really impressive at the beginning. The service was also difficult at the beginning. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 2 hours for our food. This was also rather average, at least according to our taste. The portions are also quite manageable. Without bread, which we only received upon request, we would have left the store hungry. Thanks to our own many years of service experience, we always understand that not everything always runs smoothly. However, we also know that there are ways to still satisfy our guests. However, we didn't see any serious effort on the part of the restaurant. Quite the opposite: only after we asked about the food did the restaurant manager come to us. Unfortunately without apology and without taking us seriously. Even worse, he promised us reparation, which we never received. No apology, no discount, no nothing. All we were allowed to see was how the service staff were treated quite rudely. We won't be visiting the store again.

Exquisite anchovies, a perfect Scaloppina al Gorgonzola and a wonderful crema di fragola: pure enjoyment in a wonderful ambience with very attentive staff. An all-round successful evening with excellent food in a charming atmosphere.

With a new host and unfortunately the same name, this once great restaurant is no longer recognizable. Food, friendliness and service with so much room for improvement that we, as former regular customers, would definitely NOT COME BACK AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE

The attempt to present something special to the outside world with a mixture of "big world ambience" turns into a mediocre snack bar at the latest with the service and the food. It's just that you get food faster and relatively more for your money in a snack bar.

Was very disappointed with my Carpaccio de Tonno today. You could look for the tuna with a magnifying glass, but there was a lot of rocket, tomatoes and radishes on the plate that weren't mentioned on the menu.

Too much around it, sirloin steak is not a fillet, as a top restaurateur should know if you want it.

Very good food and great ambience. Despite a very short-term reservation, we still got a table. Bruschetta and beef tartare were ordered as starters, and we were also offered plates to share. Both tasted excellent. For the main course we had the penne avocado with chicken and the tortelloni with minced beef. Both portions were more than sufficient, visually appealing and really tasty. As a dessert, the ice cream with Oreo and mascarpone caught our eye, which was also excellent in terms of taste and appearance. Here, too, we were offered cutlery to share. Our drinks were Cola Zero and passion fruit mango soda. The waitress came at regular intervals to ask if everything was OK or if something was still missing. The service was neither intrusive nor too little!

Unfortunately we were misled by the previous reviews to eat there. Very dingy restaurant, unfortunately the food was less than average, there was a wine list but apparently almost no wines left, as according to the waiter there will be a new menu next week!!!! The floor under every table was very, very dirty, and to top it off there was a staple in the food. Reason they get fresh mushrooms every day and it was because of the basket, where can you get fresh mushrooms on a Sunday???, a meal wasn't charged but the overall impression was very worrying.

We were there for the first time yesterday. Very nice atmosphere. Great outdoor terrace. Had the starter board (for two), the seafood pan and chicken, everything tasted very good. The Pesca Limo is also recommended!!! Very nice and attentive staff too! When we are in Emden again, we will eat there again.

A great atmosphere in the middle of an old warehouse with a view of the water. However, if you expect an average Italian, you have to be careful. There is e.g. B. no pizza or the usual pasta. The dishes on the menu sound tempting and were also very tasty. My Italian burger was very good. The service is quick, friendly and communicative, and also gives recommendations if you are at a loss.

Yesterday we visited the Restaurant da Sergio in Emden for the first time. We were immediately enchanted by the wonderful ambience. The menu was relatively clear, but in our opinion this speaks more for rather than against the location. The selected dishes far exceeded our expectations! They were seasoned and prepared with love, no run-of-the-mill spices were used. And otherwise? What surprised us the most were the employees! They were consistently friendly, competent and attentive to a degree that - hand on heart - we have never experienced before. On top of that, you could feel that everyone really enjoyed their work. A delight from start to finish.

A nice welcome and we got a nice table. At the beginning there was a free drink. We had noodles with beef. It tasted very good, thank you.

I had the pleasure of dining at Da Sergio in Emden recently and I have nothing but positive things to say. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a leisurely dinner. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive without being intrusive. What was particularly impressive was the excellent advice on the wine selection, which went perfectly with our dishes. The food itself was simply outstanding. Every dish was freshly prepared and tasted to the point. The pizza had a wonderfully crispy base and rich toppings, while the pasta was al dente and served with a delicious sauce. I can highly recommend Da Sergio and am already looking forward to my next visit!

This restaurant thrives on the exceptional ambience and the very friendly service. You can overlook the fact that my meat was fried quite dry. We had a very relaxing evening. In summer you can also sit here in the fresh air. I would like to thank you for the good hospitality.

Location representative. Ambience very appealing. Service friendly. Dishes (salads, bowls which were too small) were not put together as declared on the menu (1/3 of the dish was ginger). Dressing, rice, salad and cucumber not flavorful enough for this price range. Strumpets present in the dish, no-go. Tiramisu very tasty and prepared with very good ingredients.

We tried Sergios because we always enjoyed visiting Sergio in the Delft Hotel. Now Castos… Food was okay but nothing more..: We prefer Castos as the location is too remote and very quiet for us. But that is a matter of taste and just our opinion.

Very tasty dishes (braised Iberico pork cheeks, homemade ravioli and a starter platter)! The service staff…..an obviously well-coordinated team, were super friendly, attentive and quick! It's not cheap but inexpensive. It's worth a visit.

The service is very professional! Friendly but not fake. The location is very specially decorated and furnished. Despite a lot of gold and glitter, I find it very cozy and you discover something new and special in every corner. The food is the star here! Very thoughtfully composed dishes of high quality. The organic salmon and the Fassona fillet made us very happy! ;)

A very tasty meal in a beautiful ambience, which was wonderfully rounded off by the excellent service. The starter was bruschetta and the main course was the Italian Burger / Casarecce Avocado. And in the end a bill that was more than reasonable, not to say very cheap, for what was on offer!

The food and everything is just great, it all fits together and there's also the perfect ambience. What's a bit stupid is the parking facilities but that's why I won't deduct any points because the rest was just great We can only recommend coming back

"da Sergio" da hammer, no I'm not exaggerating. You would like to have such a great Italian on your doorstep. A great and very friendly staff accompanied me. Be sure to make a reservation because it is really well attended and well known. A great menu awaits every taste here and I can say that it tasted exceptionally good. Hallo war mit meiner Frau da zum Jahrestag und ich muss ehrlich gestehen das Ambiente ist natürlich schon etwas außergewöhnlich, zu dem der Service von dem lieben Nino der sein Handwerk echt versteht (Fisch filetieren am Tisch) war das Essen aus der Küche natürlich ebenfalls ein leckes köstliches Kunstwerk das ganze wird durch den Flair und Scham des Teams zu einem Abenteuer was man nicht so schnell vergisst Wir kommen gern wieder

Unfassbar leckeres Essen, herausragender Service und tolles Ambiente. Das Personal ist positiv hervorzuheben und verdient ein besonderes Lob. Ein Besuch ist absolut zu empfehlen!

Wir haben heute hier zu Mittag gegessen. Vom Ambiente waren wir etwas überrascht, fast überfordert da es ziemlich "mächtig" ist. Was auch mächtig war, war der Geruch der uns beim eintreten in das Lokal, fast wieder zum verlassen veranlasst hat. Es hat sehr nach Küche, in der Hauptsache nach verbrauchtem Fritttierfett, gerochen. Wir hatten zum Mittagstisch den Burger mit frittierten Pommes-Chips, die so geschmeckt haben wie es gerochen hat im Lokal. Die Burger sahen erstklassig aus, allerdings waren die Fleisch Paddys unterschiedlich vom Gargrad, einer war perfekt rosa der andere komplett durchgegart. Schade. Nach dem wir das Lokal verlassen hatten, hatten wir noch ein Andenken an das Lokal. Unsere Kleidung hat nach verbrauchtem Fett gerochen. Die frittierten Pommes-Chips machen uns noch heute Abend "viel Spaß". Ambiente hui, Geruch pfui. (Wir hatten das Personal wegen des Geruchs angesprochen, nach Auskunft des Personals ist ein besserer "Dunstabzug" aufgrund von Denkmalschutz nicht möglich)

Perfektes Gastroerlebnis! Hervorragendes Essen im stimmigen Ambiente. Besonders erwähnenswert ist der freundliche und aufmerksame Service. Danke für den rundum gelungenen Abend!

Wir haben bei da Sergio unsere Weihnachtsfeier gefeiert. Wir können nur sagen, es hat uns sehr sehr gut gefallen. Total zuvorkommendes Personal, Essen war der absolute Hammer und das Ambiente natürlich erste Klasse!!! Ist echt empfehlenswert, wir kommen gerne wieder!!!!

Wohl das tollste Restaurant in Emden, wenn es um neue italienische Küche geht - mit ostfriesischen Einflüssen („Deichlamm“). Sehr schönes/stylisches Ambiente, tolles Essen und ein gutes Preis-Leidtungs-Verhältnis. Etwas wenig vegetarisches auf der Karte, aber der Service macht so ziemlich alles möglich. Liegt etwas abseits, aber der (kurze) Weg lohnt sich. Allein der Bick aufs Wasser und der tolle alte Zollspeicher…

Ab und an bin ich hier als Gast. Letztes mal Sonntag. Ich muss sagen ein mega Laden. Uns wurden mehrere Plätze zur Wahl gezeigt. Der Typ an der Bar, einfach Hammer. Telefon zwischen Ohr und Schulter, uns plaziert und nebenbei macht er getränke. Stellte sich später raus, das er für unseren Bereich auch noch zuständig war. Total zuvorkommender Service. Professionell und vorallem kein Trinkgeld geschleime. Der liebt seinen Job. Der zweite ältere Herr auch sehr sympathisch, lebt seinen Beruf. Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker. Für uns war es ein Erlebnis hier zu sein. Das ist Gastronomie so wie man sie sich wünscht. Danke an Mike und Nino für die schönen 3 Stunden. Wir kommen wieder

Kam alleine und mir wurden drei Möglichkeiten am Eingang zum Sitzen zugewiesen. Das Essen war hervorragend vom Geschmack, das ist ja auch mit das wichtigste bei einem Restaurantbesuch.Service unterschiedlich, die männlichen Bedienungen eher trocken und teilnahmslos, die weibliche Bedienung sehr kundenorientiert, man fühlte sich wirklich als Gast, sehr freundlich. Das neue Restaurant (ich kenne den Vorgänger) könnte auch in Dubai stehen. Mir fehlte aber das gewisse Flair, das typische italienische, eher eine nüchterne und kuehle Atmosphäre. Der neue Standort ist für mich keine Verbesserung, im direkten Vergleich zum "alten Restaurant". Gehört ja einer Inhaberfamilie, somit: der nächste Besuch ist wieder dort.
