Der Service empfanden wir ein wenig von oben herab. Pizzaboden war gut, der Belag allerdings eher geschmacklos. Der Salat war in Ordnung.

Das Osteressen bei Gaetano war wirklich ausgezeichnet! Eine gemütliche und familiäre Atmosphäre, perfekt, um einen besonderen Tag zu feiern. Das Essen war hervorragend: liebevoll angerichtete Gerichte, authentische Aromen und großzügige Portionen. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich, immer mit einem Lächeln. Ein großes Kompliment an das gesamte Team, das dieses Osterfest noch schöner gemacht hat. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Das Essen war sehr gut, kaum zu toppen. Leider war es ziemlich schwierig mit den stumpfen Messern zu schneiden und man sitzt lange auf dem trockenen, wenn man nicht nach Getränken fragt. Wir waren mit unserer Freundesgruppe im Da Gaetano und hatten einen richtig schönen Abend! Einige hatten die Pizza „Da Gaetano“, andere die Pizza „Chef“, dazu gab’s eine Tagliata di Manzo und ein Entrecôte Steak. Ein Kollege hatte sogar Trüffelnudeln aus dem Parmesan-Laib richtig stark! Alle Gerichte waren Mega, da gab’s wirklich nichts auszusetzen. Die Weinflasche hat das ganze abgerundet, beraten wurden wir auch von Angelo der bei unserem Geschmack direkt ins Schwarze getroffen hat. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ich war wirklich begeistert von diesem italienischen Restaurant! Die Pizza war einfach hervorragend – knuspriger Boden, frische Zutaten und perfekt gewürzt. Auch die anderen Gerichte waren unglaublich lecker und mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Man merkt sofort die hohe Qualität der Zutaten. Der Service war ebenso ausgezeichnet: sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Das Personal hat uns herzlich empfangen und dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohlfühlen. Wir haben heute 2 Party-Pizzen zum Abholen bestellt, weil wir mit den üblichen Lieferdiensten oft nicht zufrieden sind – und wurden absolut positiv überrascht. Die Pizza war richtig lecker und geschmacklich top. Besonders die Thunfischpizza mit Knoblauchöl obendrauf hat uns begeistert: nicht zu käselastig wie bei vielen Lieferdiensten und auch überhaupt nicht fettig oder überölt. Sehr ausgewogen und richtig gut im Geschmack. Die Größe der Pizza ist mehr als ausreichend – wirklich überragend. Außerdem war der Kontakt am Telefon sehr freundlich, was den guten Eindruck noch abgerundet hat. Für eine Abholbestellung absolut empfehlenswert – wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wir fahren immer von Reutlingen her um hier Pizza abzuholen, da es für uns einfach die beste Pizza in Reutlingen und Umgebung ist. Einen extra Stern würde es geben, wenn eine Lieferung möglich wäre

Hervorragendes Erlebnis hier gehabt! Die Speisen waren vorzüglich und die Wartezeiten kurz. Der service war exzellent! Lag vielleicht auch daran das man sich gefreut hat das man auf Italienisch bestellt hat. Die Salate sind gut und auch gut gemischt, der Meeresfrüchte Salat war eine Wucht. Auch die anderen Speisen von pizza über Nudeln usw, waren alle sehr sehr gut und geschmacklich top. Man sollte aber die immense große der pizza beachten! Mit einem keinen Hunger sollte man sich das vielleicht überlegen. Ambiente und Auswahl der Weine war ebenso hervorragend wie der Rest.

Stand November 2025: Das Essen ist Top der Rest war leider (zum ersten mal) ein Flop! Wir waren hier schon öfters essen und waren bisher mit dem Service auch sehr zufrieden, aber das es auch anders geht mussten wir leider auch erleben! Wir hatten "das Pech" zeitgleich mit 2 größeren italienischen Geburtstagen gleichzeitig Gast zu sein und zwischen beiden unseren Tisch zu haben. Es war nicht nur unfassbar laut sondern wir mussten auf unser Essen über 1 Stunde für die Hauptspeise warten (Pizza und Pasta). Die erste Gesellschaft war vor uns im Restaurant und hat natürlich vor uns das Essen bekommen, die zweite kam 1/2 Stunde nach uns und hat z.T. vor uns das Essen bekommen (nicht die Vorspeise, sondern auch die Hauptspeise). Beide Gesellschaften wurden rundum "betüddelt", hier wurde gefragt ob alles passt, was noch gewünscht wird usw. - bei uns nicht 1x und das kenne ich hier eigentlich anders. Wir wurden quasi nicht beachtet, kamen uns irgendwie 2.klassig vor, die Bedienungen haben uns den Rücken zugedreht und um auf uns aufmerksam zu machen, wenn wir noch was wollten war mit viel Geduld verbunden. Wir haben hier mit 5 Personen gut Geld liegen gelassen aber der Fokus liegt hier offensichtlich wo anders ... wir sind sehr enttäuscht und werden dann eben nicht mehr so schnell hier vorstellig werden, schade!

Wow, das Essen war wirklich weltklasse – frisch, voller Geschmack und perfekt zubereitet. Auch der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das gemütliche Ambiente rundet den Besuch perfekt ab. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Warum war ich nicht schon früher da 😄

Ristorante Da Gaetano is a very decent Italian restaurant, not just the food, but also the spirit. First, all their dishes are served with good portion, but all very well decorated, taking Vintello Tonnato fo example, the portion is almost double to the average, while it's not just the tuna sauce over the veal, but with slices of carrots, half-dried tomato, 🌿 herb, and olive oil, just amazing. As to my main dish, Pacchero Amatriciana, one of the best Spaghetti I've ever had, the tomato 🍅 sauce is perfectly cooked with pork cheeks, with lots of cherry tomatoes, the Penne never tasted so good.

Nine of us ate here, and we were all impressed by the super delicious pizza and pasta! The pizzas were huge, and we couldn't finish them all. The atmosphere was great, too, and the service was friendly, but a bit forgetful. We would gladly come back anytime ☺️

"Pizza Hawaii with Pretensions – Between Humility and Self-Image" During a visit to Pfullingen, this "Ristorante" was highly recommended to me. Expectations were high. What I found was solid cuisine, without any exceptional highlights, but not disappointing either. Overall, an enjoyable experience, generously deserving of three stars. Ristorante Da Gaetano offers a wide range of Italian classics, such as Vitello Tonnato, Carpaccio, Burrata, Saltimbocca, Tagliatelle al Tartufo – all present. However, Pizza Hawaii is also on the menu. I didn't order it, but its very presence raises questions! A slice of canned pineapple on leavened dough, culinaryally somewhere between a children's birthday party and a company cafeteria. Where I come from, the person responsible for such a creation would probably have been chased out of town... and not with torches, but with pizza peels. If you're offering truffle pasta, perhaps it's best to avoid these excursions into the Germanic 1980s. It gives the impression of not taking oneself too seriously—or of underestimating the audience. A glance at the menu also reveals some linguistic oddities. Spelling errors, a jumbled mix of German and Italian, and a lack of attention to wording. A lofty claim with literary depth? None. The presentation remains inconsistent. The Saltimbocca alla Romana was well executed: tender veal, aromatic sage, clean presentation. For my taste, it was a bit too salty—not a disaster, but avoidable at these prices. The Scaloppine alla Milanese were served with pasta that was pleasantly al dente, congratulations. Taste-wise, they were solid; visually, however, they were more like a Wiener schnitzel than the Milanese model. The breading was peeling off the meat in some places—a small mistake, but forgivable. Another interesting fact: the menu features "Penne alla Bolognese"—a classic for German palates, of course. But in Bologna, this dish is simply called Ragù alla Bolognese, traditionally served with tagliatelle. The term "Bolognese" on the menu is therefore more of a concession to German tastes than an expression of authentic cuisine. That's fine, as long as you don't expect too much. The service was friendly, but at times too intrusive. We were interrupted several times—less would have been better. A genuine smile, one that doesn't seem forced even after ten hours of work, would complete the image of high class and prestige, making the overall experience more pleasant. The ambiance is simple, the conservatory bright and functional. There's no grand display, but no offensive charm either. It's a safe bet, without leaving a lasting impression. For a completely successful evening, expect to spend around 60-70 euros per person. Prices you'd expect in New York, Rio, Tokyo, or Paris, rather than in a small Swabian village like Pfullingen. The wine list goes further: prices are in part higher than those in Paris's 7th arrondissement. And anyone who's lived there for several months knows that's a statement, especially in tranquil Swabia. Conclusion: A restaurant with ambition, solid cuisine, and committed service, teetering between pretension and everydayness. Combining Hawaiian pizza and truffle pasta on a menu invites interpretation, and perhaps a smile. Rather small restaurant - perhaps order in advance for special occasions. Great dishes on the menu, really great in terms of taste too. Pizzas are only available in one size (too big for many). The price is more in the upper segment from 20 - 40 euros, but really very good. Recommendation offers 2 pizza sizes.

Our friends were there before us. In half an hour they only got the menu. Nobody asked if they would like to order something to drink. How can a pizzeria not have a standard Pizza Margherita? The answer I got was really rude: "Senior only has what's on the menu," said the unfriendly old gentleman. Had to wait over an hour for 4 pizzas. I won't recommend it! My first and last visit. In Pfullingen there is another Italian that is much friendlier and has more choice!

Family-run restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine 🇮🇹. My pizza Tonno was exceptionally good and the size of a wheel cart. There was also local beer 🍻 and wheat from the Berg brewery. The price/performance is right. The waitresses were all very friendly and attentive. Keep it up! 🫶

We ordered two pizzas to pick up yesterday. The “Senorita” on the phone left a strange impression and the question of whether we paid with card or cash was new to me. I've never been asked that question before. When we arrived at the restaurant, there was a lady sitting just to the left of the entrance who didn't think it was necessary to say hello or turn down her cell phone. When she ran into the kitchen I realized it was the same lady from the phone call. Unfortunately, my first impression was only confirmed. It's not enough to just deliver a decent pizza. Service is crucial.

They are simply delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Every bite is a delight! The selection of different pizzas is large and there is something for every taste. The pasta dishes and salad are also highly recommended. And don't forget: the homemade desserts are an absolute highlight! I can only warmly recommend Pizzeria da Gaetano. In general, the food here is really good, but unfortunately the pizza is always cooled down by the time you pick it up. Even if you're there after 20 minutes, even though the food shouldn't be ready until after 30 minutes. If you then say something about it and other guests might notice it, you will get a muzzle in the form of a bottle of vino from an arrogant-looking employee. Even when we visited the restaurant and ate it, the pizza wasn't hot when it came straight from the kitchen to the table. If you order a Coke that comes in a bottle and say you don't need a glass, you have to take it. Again the arrogant-looking employee with the justification “we are a local”.

Salad needs improvement. Dressing was just balsamic cream. Vinegar and oil were not available at the table. Calzone was too mushy as the filling was only in the middle. The pasta dish was a very large portion. The winter garden is very nice, but the other places outside the winter garden are much less beautiful. Placed very close together.

The Italian restaurant is a real treat! The food is exceptionally delicious and authentic. Every bite was a culinary journey to Italy. Wir waren der erste mal im Ristorante Da Gaetano und wurden sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend begrüßt. Die Speisekarte lässt keine Wünsche offen, die Auswahl ist toll. Dazu gab es eine sehr gute Weinempfehlung. Wir hatten Vitello Tonnato und Burrata als Vorspeise, als Hauptgericht Kürbisrisotto - alles hervorragend zubereitet und auf schönem Porzellan serviert. Der Service war den ganzen Abend über freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das war sicher nicht der letzte Besuch 👍

Spontan einen Tisch bekommen um Wintergarten, fast wie draußen. Es gibt einen Innenbereich, Außenbereich im Wintergarten und eine kleine Terrasse. Essen ist sehr frisch und lecker, für die Pizzen sind sie bekannt. Sehr lecker, freundlich und normale Preise.
