Ristorante Da Daniele am Klosterpark in Göttingen

Today we ate beef steak at Daniele's (No. 60 and 61) it was super delicious😋 Thank you very much 👏 👏

My husband ordered a pizza and he was quite happy about it. However, my food was not so good. I didn’t like lagsana and asked to change to spaghetti but the waiter refused. They were not flexible for customers. We also ordered a mix-mushrooms dish as starter but it was totally disappointing. Only a few slices of different types mushrooms and it costs more than 12€, so expensive. The taste was not so good, neither. Overall, I don’t want to come again but my husband is happy about the pizza flavor so we give 3 stars overall. The tiramisu is super expensive (9€) so I didn’t try.

Very good pizza 🍕 especially the pizza dough! Pizza rolls and lasagna!!! Sometimes the waiting time is longer but what can you stand for a top meal!!!! And you always feel welcome 🤗 Service is very nice, of course when it's very busy some of the attention is a bit lost, but even these people only have 2 hands 🙌 and a head! And you can tell it's a family business, which is certainly reflected in the warmth of the heart that greets you when you enter the store! So thank you very much 🙏 🤩

The ambience in the restaurant is really great – stylish and inviting. The taste of the dishes was absolutely convincing, every bite was a pleasure! Unfortunately, the portions were too small overall, and the side dishes in particular could have been more generous. Unfortunately, in the end we didn't really get full, which is a bit disappointing given the high prices. All in all a nice evening, but for the price-performance ratio more filling would be desirable."

Price performance is right here. And very friendly! Italian, authentic feel-good atmosphere. Great. We'll be back!

Amazingly delicious (on request) GLUTEN-FREE pizza! Super tasty, dough purchased from Italy tastes absolutely authentic and is in no way inferior to a normal pizza. I am very happy and happy to have discovered this restaurant. Absolute added value for people with gluten intolerance in Göttingen - thank you!

I really liked it. There were 9 of us there and we didn't have to wait long for the food, even though it was very full. The service was very nice. We'll be back!

I have rarely eaten Italian cuisine so good. The ravioli with pistachio pesto and the pistachio tiramisu were divine. The blackhead dishes also looked great.

An Italian restaurant that deserves to be called that. That alone is almost a rarity. On top of that, for me, it's more upscale Italian cuisine. Of course, that doesn't always have to be the case, but it's a big win, especially for Weende. The only aspects I don't like are the interior and especially the exterior design. For me, the “trend” of working sterilely in shades of gray and replacing garden culture with “comfortable” stone is in stark contrast to truly Italian dolce vita. But what isn't can still happen and maybe we can hope to soon feel like we're in Veneto in the outdoor area! I really hope that Daniel will be a long-term part of Weende and can develop and develop.

Unfortunately, the lack of staff made the task of providing food and drinks somewhat more difficult and took time. After about 1-1.5 hours we had our food. This was really very good. Overall, everything was very nicely decorated, clean and pleasant.

We specifically visited the restaurant on the recommendation of two different business partners from Kassel. What was striking was the very well-kept atmosphere In our opinion, the price-performance ratio could be improved a bit, but basically good...

Delicious Italian dishes in the upper price segment... The dishes on offer are of very high quality. Please be sure to reserve a seat, the restaurant is very full on Saturdays and you will be politely asked to vacate your seat after 1.5 hours... The service is on point and very nice.

You don't go to an Italian restaurant to eat citizens. Otherwise, considering all the expenses, the prices are still acceptable. Always happy to have nothing to complain about during any of our visits.

Top restaurant with great food 🥘

Unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. Pasta for €20, which was very little, and a burger for €23, which wasn't filled with enough toppings, don't justify such prices in my opinion. We also had to wait a long time and the waitresses were neither attentive nor really friendly. Unfortunately our starter was also forgotten. All in all very disappointing, I would have preferred to spend my money differently.

Really delicious gluten-free pizza. Is highly recommended. I think it's a bit of a shame that it can't be delivered, but it's absolutely understandable.

Everything we ate was soooo delicious. We ordered Quattro Formaggi pizza and Lasagna. The dough of pizza was perfect and cheeses they use were extraordinarily delicious. And the final applause is for pistachio tiramisu. Definitely mind-blowing!

We were there with a large group and the chairs were far too narrow, so we really sat shoulder to shoulder... The portions were very small (spaghetti carbonara), especially since it costs ~18€. The carbonara was very tasty, but really little. The service was okay, only sometimes a bit unfriendly or you had the feeling of being a nuisance, which I see as critical for a slightly better Italian. I wouldn't go there again.

A very nice, modern restaurant. The food, bruschetta and antipasti with pizza bread, tasted fantastic and was also very visually appealing. The service was friendly and there was also a highlight for the birthday child. We immediately booked a table for our next dinner together.

Great ambience, great service, great portion size too. I would have liked the pizza rolls with my pasta to be warm, but unfortunately they were completely cold. They could also tolerate salt, but unfortunately they didn't taste like anything. The pizza dough would also tolerate salt and would therefore have a little more taste. The newly opened restaurant is very good in terms of service and food. “Da Daniele” has been around for a long time at the Lockhalle location and now, with the same quality, at the Klosterpark. The atmosphere at the new location is more modern and brighter. The acoustics would be significantly improved and are now very pleasant even with a full house. Unfortunately the original location is no longer Da Daniele... The new location is now the only one.

The best pizza outside of Italy!

I ordered 2 pizzas there to pick up. Once the Quattro Formaggi. My girlfriend liked it. I can agree with that. But the Margherita was really amazing in terms of taste. This pizza is one of the top 3 in Göttingen, without question! Absolute recommendation. The pizza dough is also excellent! I just think the prices are a bit high these days, but inflation... The atmosphere there seemed quite nice, very bright, more modern than cozy..

I can only recommend the restaurant. It was very busy during our visit. Pizza was very good. And when pizza dough tastes good even without toppings. That speaks for the pizza. The Carlzone was somewhat one-sidedly filled. But good anyway. Unfortunately, we were not informed that there were other dishes on the clipboard. There are worse things, now we know. There was a bag of gummy bears for me... I still have to drive 👍😃 Price performance is right here.

Four of us friends ate here on Valentine's Day. The restaurant was stylishly decorated with heart balloons on every chair. The food was really delicious and each woman received a rose when she said goodbye. Everyone was excited.

It was our first time at Da Daniele and we really liked it. Nicely and modernly furnished, you can eat very tasty pizza and other Italian dishes here in the former "Café Ritter" - a long time ago. We will come back in any case.

Wir waren zu einer Familienfeier dort. Kannten Da Daniele bis dato noch nicht und waren mehr wie begeistert. Eine sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung, aufmerksames und freundliches Personal und das Essen - vor allem die Antipasti - fantastisch. Nur zu empfehlen, ist mit Sicherheit nicht unser letzter Besuch.

The lovely staff personel arranged a surprise birthday cake for my wife as per my request but they made the small ice cream cake with fireworks candle on it far lovelier than what I expected. Da Daniele offers the best Italian dishes you could get in Germany! Wonderful service, lovely Italian personel from Sicily, really kind and polite. Amazing pizza with original material from Italy. The carbonara is very special and recommended.

Essen gut. Allerdings kam mein Carpaccio doch etwas "schlicht" daher.Nur Fleisch mit etwas Parmesan, sonst nichts. Und sonst wird Pizzabrot dazu gereicht. Hier nur wenige kleine Pizza Brötchen. Das sollte vielleicht etwas aufgewertet werden, denn man steht mit diesem Gericht leicht hungrig auf. Sagen wir so, bin Carpacciofan und hatte schon andere Varianten. Sonst gab es nichts zu beanstanden. Schönes Lokal, nette Bedienung.

Mega lecker, nettes Personal ist halt ein einfacher Imbiss mit ein paar Tischen. Kommen immer wieder.

Immer wieder sehr schön. Familiäre Atmosphäre und ein schönes Lokal. Beim Essen merkt man das der Chef selbst am Herd steht. Parkplätze vor der Tür. Angemesse Preise.

Nach zahlreichen Besuchen, möchte ich meine Erfahrungen mit dem wahrscheinlich besten italienischen Restaurant in Göttingen teilen. Die Pasta, war bisher stets herausragend. Sie war perfekt al dente und die Sauce war immer frisch und unglaublich geschmackvoll. Aber auch die selbstgemachte Pizza ist immer ein kulinarisches Highlight. Der knusprige Rand und die frischen Beläge machen sie immer zu einem wahren Genuss. Auf keinen Fall sollte man auf das Dessert verzichten, denn das ist ein wahres Geschmackserlebnis und wird immer sehr aufwendig präsentiert. Das Personal ist immer absolut freundlich und zuvorkommend. Entsprechend toll ist der Service. Dieses Restaurant ist definitiv einen Besuch wert, wenn Sie authentische italienische Küche in einer gemütlichen Atmosphäre suchen.

Super lecker, klasse Service und tolles Ambiente. Ob Pizza oder Nudelgericht einfach lecker und der wichtigsten Zutat. Man schmeckt das die Speisen mit Liebe zubereitet werden. Macht weiter so!👍 Der einzige Nachteil ist das es oft recht gut besucht ist. Also am besten reservieren 😉

Geschmacklich mehr als positiv überrascht gewesen. Eine Wendung von 180 Grad im Vergleich zum Lokal am Bahnhof seinerseits. Hier kommen wir definitiv wieder :-)
