Unfortunately, we were only able to visit the restaurant more often while on vacation; otherwise, it would be our regular. The food, no matter what, is consistently excellent. Everything is fresh and prepared with love. Customer requests are also catered to. The owner and the staff are super friendly and very attentive. Others could learn a thing or two from their experience. We can only recommend this restaurant without reservation. We will definitely be back on our next vacation. An absolute highlight! Friendly service and a warm atmosphere. The menu offers a fantastic selection of classic Italian dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. I'd particularly like to highlight the pasta and crispy pizza – a dream! The wine list is also excellently matched and perfectly rounds off the experience. Another highlight is the beautiful terrace: From there, you can enjoy a fantastic view, which makes dining a very special experience – perfect for romantic evenings or relaxing with friends. The service is attentive, warm, and always there with a smile.

We had our meal on a Thursday evening. We were hoping for a good Italian restaurant based on other reviews, but the service was very overwhelmed, leading to long waits between courses. The food wasn't bad, the pizza was good, but the pasta was half-cold in some places, and the pasta was a bit undercooked. Overall, it was okay, but not recommended.

The food is incredibly good! I had entrecôte with truffles, and I've never eaten such good meat in my life, and I often go out for good meals. It was tender and full of truffles, with an incredibly delicious truffle dressing, gravy, and I don't know what to make of it. I enjoyed every single bite. If I had been here on the first day of my stay, I would have come back every day. Also worth mentioning is the great view and the genuinely friendly chef.

Great restaurant and service. We were greeted very warmly and immediately shown to a table, after which we were given the menu. About 3-5 minutes later, the appetizers were ready to eat. The main course also came relatively quickly. The waiter enjoyed his job. I really enjoyed the food here. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed it. Even though I was there alone, without a reservation, and in an outfit that didn't match the very appealing ambiance, I was greeted warmly and even got a good table in the fairly busy restaurant. The food (manzo carpaccio and a prosciutto pizza) was excellent, as was the Pinot Grigio by the glass. It wasn't cheap, but in my opinion, it was worth every penny. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop by and try something more challenging from the menu—the "basics" certainly give me high hopes.

It's actually a very nice restaurant, and the food at the surrounding tables looked delicious. However, we only wanted a glass of wine, which the owner obviously took offense to. We would have gladly left quickly afterward if they hadn't kept us waiting forever for the bill. Hospitality isn't what it's all about.

Beautiful location and great service

The ambience was top-notch, the view of the spa was exquisite, the host was extremely friendly, the interior was charming, the outdoor area was inviting, especially in good weather, the food was a delight and, above all, authentic Italian, and the price/performance ratio was excellent.

The restaurant is simply fun. The selection of dishes is fantastic, especially the seasonal offerings. Even children will find something great to eat here, and the staff is friendly and accommodating to requests. We've been here several times and will definitely be back. 👍🏻

Den Italiener kenne ich schon seit Jahren. Herrliche Aussicht auf den Kurgarten. Der Inhaber gibt sich nur mit Gästen ab, die viel konsumieren. Ein Hauch von Arroganz umgibt ihn. Spaghetti waren durchschnittlich. Für eine Hand voll Nudeln zu teuer.

Disastrous service, excessive demands, and unfriendliness... doesn't do justice to this beautiful place. Not worth recommending—especially not for a larger group!

A beautifully located restaurant with a fantastic view of the Wandelhalle and the striking buildings in the spa gardens. The service was friendly and attentive. We had various pasta dishes and were very satisfied. The portions were quite large and very tasty.

The food was really delicious, but one portion of pasta wasn't enough for me (I'm not known for eating a lot, and I still didn't feel completely full). Everyone was very friendly, and the food came quickly.

I would eat at Ristorante Castello Belvedere again. We enjoyed the food. The staff was very attentive. We had two pizzas and a starter salad. The salad was beautifully presented, but I've had better ones in terms of taste. But the salad came with delicious bread. The pizzas were even better for it. Hence 5 stars.

We actually visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Bad Brückenau because we were so impressed the first time. The owner, Angelo, was very welcoming and we left almost as "friends" after our second visit. The food is excellent, and the view from the terrace is (according to a local at the next table) the most beautiful in the entire region. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Bad Brückenau.

We were able to pamper ourselves here on two evenings. Excited both times. Pizza 1a, pasta delicious, the starters aromatic and tasty. The view from the terrace is a highlight. We will come again.

A really great Italian restaurant. The service is good, the food tastes excellent and Angelo the owner is a restaurateur through and through. We had two lovely evenings and would love to come back.

The terrace offers a great view of Staatsbad Brückenau. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite convince us. Both the tuna salad and the spaghetti aglio e olio were only mediocre in terms of both the way they were prepared and the taste.

We were there today with the whole family and everyone enjoyed it 100%... The view, the food, and especially the above-average friendly and warm hospitality of Angelo (the boss :)) but of course also of all his employees!!!! The food was really top notch, be it the pizza, the Black Angus or lamb shank and of course much more… We always enjoy coming back and hope to see you again ;) Greetings Max

We found the visit very nice. The pizza was delicious, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was also appealing. The highlight for us was the tiramisu. Large portion, very tasty and beautifully presented. We cannot confirm the bad comments and would recommend it.

We were there as a family with a total of 14 people. One more than originally reserved. That wasn't a problem. Space would be created quickly. The reception was friendly and relaxed. The atmosphere was a bit upscale for us. The table is beautifully set. Served by the very friendly boss himself, even small requests for changes were no problem. First the drinks came, then starters for those who had them, then the main course. Everything was quick and smooth. The main order was pizza, but there was also pasta. The service was always very friendly. Everyone enjoyed it very much. The food looked and tasted great. Taking leftover pizza with you was no problem. Whether young or old, everyone really enjoyed it. Next time we will go to the terrace.😉 We found the prices to be reasonable. For us it was more than just a pizzeria. There is free parking directly at the restaurant. For those who want to walk a bit, we recommend parking at the Kursaal and strolling through the castle park and enjoying the great facility. Of course you can also do it after dinner. The current planting was a feast for the eyes and the scent of the hyacinths was almost enveloping.

We were a group of 20 people. Without exception, everyone was very satisfied with the quality, quantity and service. You also immediately notice that the boss has everything under control and goes about his work with a lot of passion and empathy! Highly recommended and would love to come back soon!

We had the pleasure of dining at this charming restaurant, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The premises are immaculately clean, reflecting the team's attention to detail. The staff are incredibly welcoming and kind, making our visit even more enjoyable. The room service deserves a special mention: fast, efficient and always with a smile. As for the cuisine, we opted for pizza calzones which were absolutely delicious! Every bite was a treat, proof of the quality of the ingredients and the chef's know-how. Being French, we are delighted to discover a place like this where we know that we will always be well received and well fed. Each time we visit this region, we are happy to return to this restaurant. A real gem!

It is the best restaurant in Bad Bruckenau. The food is very good and the pizza too. We came from Spain for work and we went there for lunch all 5 days because everything was perfect and the service was very professional. Thank you very much for everything.

So I can't understand the many bad comments about the service. I was a single guest and was greeted warmly by the old gentleman and shown to a happy table Card service was always there on time, always friendly (I don't need a hug and kisses here, kisses there, which many people seem to miss.) I ordered a grilled dryaged steak I was expecting a charcoal steak and got a double iron steak. I didn't notice any of the intense taste of the dryaged, but when the dryaged was way too short... The meat was crispy on the point / sides, medium rare, well seasoned, and I didn't notice any dry aging The fried potatoes were ok, but too oily The salad was colorful and crunchy... Conclusion if you go to an Italian restaurant you should eat traditional Italian Roman! The atmosphere is more geared towards spa visitors, I didn't find it particularly special, it was ok A bit more upscale than normal restaurants Just like the prices, I found 5 euros for 0.4 cola to be quite hearty. Prices for food are ok if everything is right The menu didn't blow my mind Starter soups, small meal pizza, seafood, only beef and veal, salad menu All in all, it was a health resort meal, and the seasoning was quite sparse or not at all. I thought 50 euros for food and then drinking was a bit too high! I missed the greeting from the kitchen to bridge the waiting time, and just say goodbye as you are used to at Italians The fact that you have to pay for a visa is no longer appropriate.

Very tasty food and pleasant service.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Wir haben lange schon nicht mehr so gut italienisch gegessen. Die Minestrone war groß mit sehr viel Gemüse und sehr gehaltvoll. Die Hauptspeisen (Schwarze Nudel mit Calamari, Shrimps und Burrrata sowie Trüffelravioli) waren hervorragend und reichlich. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war auch sehr gut.

Every year in March, we girls go to Bad Brückenau for a wellness vacation. The evening meal at a lovely restaurant is the goal of the itinerary. We feel very comfortable. Great food with superb service. Thanks to the chef and his team. Katja, Betti, Bine, and Sonja.

We received such a friendly welcome and the service is very attentive. Our meals were excellent - we had the Spaghetti Carbonara, which was classically prepared and seasoned to perfection. You have a wonderful view over the spa gardens. We were there with our dog and a small child - it wasn't a problem and a suitable place was specially chosen for us. Every restaurant should be this attentive and friendly! Thank you very much, we will definitely come back!

Bad service! We just wanted to order a coffee and a tiramisu but were told to leave because it's a "restaurant". We have never experienced such rude treatment! In good restaurants every guest is valued, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. Not recommended!

A lovely experience: you sit down at a spotlessly clean, brightly white table, the napkins are made of fabric and also snow-white. Unused glasses are upside down, as they should be. Food and drinks are authentically Italian, not just panna cotta for dessert. A taste dream, not just visually, see picture. Can be expanded: no greetings from the kitchen, even for those who order antipasti, primi and secondi (you could understand this if you're munching on pizza at lunchtime); Service was quick and friendly, but a (re)order of water somehow went missing. Annoying: you have to ask for oil and vinegar. Strange: no white or pizza bread for the starter (rocket salad). Sad: instead of stylish salt and pepper mills, only simple shakers. Despite the shortcomings, the Ristorante Castello Belvedere gets five stars from me - for the top food. These are organizational inadequacies that the owner can remedy quickly and easily. Next time I visit I'll see if anything has changed.

Unfortunately my wife and I were very disappointed this evening. The location is great! But that was it. A 0.4 liter cola was sold on the menu for €5. We ordered two and received 0.33 l twice. I mentioned it to customer service and they told me twice that they would take care of it straight away. After about half an hour it was mentioned that these drinks would be charged at €4 each. Unfortunately this only happened with one drink. Then the wrong pizza was served. My wife then ate alone because they had to make my pizza again. The tuna on the pizza was very greasy and oily. Had a slightly metallic taste. Unfortunately we were very disappointed.

Eat like in Italy. Price performance a little higher.

I really wanted to try tiramisu. And I didn’t like the presentation or taste at all. I want to try other dishes next time. But I don’t recommend trying dessert there. The waitress was not friendly, we waited a long time for them to come to us.

As a guest in Bad Brückenau and chose this Italian restaurant for dinner because it was within walking distance of the Dorint Hotel and, according to the pictures, it had a nice, more upscale atmosphere. Suitable for a special occasion. In short: The food was really good (calzone, bruschetta parma, amatriciana, saltimbocca romana). The ambience is also quite elegant, unfortunately there was no pleasant background music, so you had to listen to the staff's loud discussions in Italian instead. At 9 p.m. there was only one other table occupied with guests. Pricing is okay, but not entirely coherent (0.3 liter Campari Orange €7, 0.33 liter Diet Coke €5). Unfortunately, the service was appalling and (as can be seen in some other reviews) doesn't fit into the overall picture at all. A very cool welcome, when you asked about a cloakroom, your coats weren't taken away (certainly not what we expected, but it would have fit in there so well). When we ordered food, it was acknowledged without comment - everything without a friendly word and with a grim expression. Unfortunately no bread with olive oil or anything similar in advance. The drinks and food came quickly. Unfortunately, there was no bon appetit or anything like that, you had to pour yourself drinks. But no one came over during the meal, so we got up ourselves to look for staff to order another drink. The appetizers were also cleared away without comment. After the main course there was no question about dessert or coffee, instead there were loud discussions again in the entrance area. We then decided to leave the ristorante. You then had to go to the counter to pay by card, as there would be no WiFi in the guest room (repeater? - somehow no longer up to date). Unfortunately you can't deduct tips, otherwise we would have. I can absolutely understand why many guests don't go there a second time and that's a shame because in my opinion it's just the service. The food and ambience are really good, so you could easily have a much better average rating.

The food and drink is far too expensive for the size, a small portion of pasta costs €14 and a 0.75 water bottle costs €8. These are just 2 examples. I was there for the first time and also the last time.

After a year in this restaurant again, but this time alone. The food and ambience are still good. ....until the plate is cleared, the service is also: attentive, friendly, fast. Afterwards: the dessert was praised to all the groups of tables around me and asked if it could be another espresso. Unfortunately, this service was not available for me as an individual. After several attempts on my part to get one of the two servants to notice me failed, I lost the desire for dessert. Thank God I was able to place the order for an espresso. It's a shame, the evening started well, but ended in annoyance at the ignorance towards an individual customer. By the way, the restaurant was only a quarter full.

The food was good. Great ambience and view of the state baths. Unfortunately the pizza wasn't quite crispy and there was too much cheese for my taste. The scallopines were very good with delicious grilled vegetables.
