Whether pasta or pizza, everything was delicious. We were there two evenings in a row and would come back anytime. First evening inside, very nice atmosphere. Second evening outside, beautiful view. (Thanks again to the manager 😀)

We were able to pamper ourselves here on two evenings. Excited both times. Pizza 1a, pasta delicious, the starters aromatic and tasty. The view from the terrace is a highlight. We will come again.

A really great Italian restaurant. The service is good, the food tastes excellent and Angelo the owner is a restaurateur through and through. We had two lovely evenings and would love to come back.

The terrace offers a great view of Staatsbad Brückenau. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite convince us. Both the tuna salad and the spaghetti aglio e olio were only mediocre in terms of both the way they were prepared and the taste.

The view, the food, and especially the above-average friendly and warm hospitality of Angelo (the boss :)) but of course also of all his employees!!!! We found the visit very nice. The pizza was delicious, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was also appealing. The highlight for us was the tiramisu. Large portion, very tasty and beautifully presented. We cannot confirm the bad comments and would recommend it.

We were there as a family with a total of 14 people. One more than originally reserved. That wasn't a problem. Space would be created quickly. The reception was friendly and relaxed. The atmosphere was a bit upscale for us. The table is beautifully set. Served by the very friendly boss himself, even small requests for changes were no problem. First the drinks came, then starters for those who had them, then the main course. Everything was quick and smooth. The main order was pizza, but there was also pasta. The service was always very friendly. Everyone enjoyed it very much. The food looked and tasted great. Taking leftover pizza with you was no problem. Whether young or old, everyone really enjoyed it. Next time we will go to the terrace.😉 We found the prices to be reasonable. For us it was more than just a pizzeria. There is free parking directly at the restaurant. For those who want to walk a bit, we recommend parking at the Kursaal and strolling through the castle park and enjoying the great facility. Of course you can also do it after dinner. The current planting was a feast for the eyes and the scent of the hyacinths was almost enveloping.

A wonderful Italian restaurant with authentic flair and lovingly prepared dishes. Pasta and pizza were perfectly cooked. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and attentive service. The atmosphere is cozy and invites you to linger. I will definitely come back – absolute recommendation!

We were a group of 20 people. Without exception, everyone was very satisfied with the quality, quantity and service. You also immediately notice that the boss has everything under control and goes about his work with a lot of passion and empathy! Highly recommended and would love to come back soon!

We had the pleasure of dining at this charming restaurant, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The premises are immaculately clean, reflecting the team's attention to detail. The staff are incredibly welcoming and kind, making our visit even more enjoyable. The room service deserves a special mention: fast, efficient and always with a smile. As for the cuisine, we opted for pizza calzones which were absolutely delicious! Every bite was a treat, proof of the quality of the ingredients and the chef's know-how. Being French, we are delighted to discover a place like this where we know that we will always be well received and well fed. Each time we visit this region, we are happy to return to this restaurant. A real gem!

It is the best restaurant in Bad Bruckenau. The food is very good and the pizza too. We came from Spain for work and we went there for lunch all 5 days because everything was perfect and the service was very professional. Thank you very much for everything.

So I can't understand the many bad comments about the service. I was a single guest and was greeted warmly by the old gentleman and shown to a happy table Card service was always there on time, always friendly (I don't need a hug and kisses here, kisses there, which many people seem to miss.) I ordered a grilled dryaged steak I was expecting a charcoal steak and got a double iron steak. I didn't notice any of the intense taste of the dryaged, but when the dryaged was way too short... The meat was crispy on the point / sides, medium rare, well seasoned, and I didn't notice any dry aging The fried potatoes were ok, but too oily The salad was colorful and crunchy... Conclusion if you go to an Italian restaurant you should eat traditional Italian Roman! The atmosphere is more geared towards spa visitors, I didn't find it particularly special, it was ok A bit more upscale than normal restaurants Just like the prices, I found 5 euros for 0.4 cola to be quite hearty. Prices for food are ok if everything is right The menu didn't blow my mind Starter soups, small meal pizza, seafood, only beef and veal, salad menu All in all, it was a health resort meal, and the seasoning was quite sparse or not at all. I thought 50 euros for food and then drinking was a bit too high! I missed the greeting from the kitchen to bridge the waiting time, and just say goodbye as you are used to at Italians The fact that you have to pay for a visa is no longer appropriate.

We stayed at the Dorin Hotel with friends and booked a table at the Castellon Belvedere restaurant, the staff was very friendly and the food was very tasty, we will come back

Very tasty food and pleasant service.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Wir haben lange schon nicht mehr so gut italienisch gegessen. Die Minestrone war groß mit sehr viel Gemüse und sehr gehaltvoll. Die Hauptspeisen (Schwarze Nudel mit Calamari, Shrimps und Burrrata sowie Trüffelravioli) waren hervorragend und reichlich. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war auch sehr gut.

Every year in March, we girls go to Bad Brückenau for a wellness vacation. The evening meal at a lovely restaurant is the goal of the itinerary. We feel very comfortable. Great food with superb service. Thanks to the chef and his team. Katja, Betti, Bine, and Sonja.

We received such a friendly welcome and the service is very attentive. Our meals were excellent - we had the Spaghetti Carbonara, which was classically prepared and seasoned to perfection. You have a wonderful view over the spa gardens. We were there with our dog and a small child - it wasn't a problem and a suitable place was specially chosen for us. Every restaurant should be this attentive and friendly! Thank you very much, we will definitely come back!

Bad service! We just wanted to order a coffee and a tiramisu but were told to leave because it's a "restaurant". We have never experienced such rude treatment! In good restaurants every guest is valued, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. Not recommended!

A lovely experience: you sit down at a spotlessly clean, brightly white table, the napkins are made of fabric and also snow-white. Unused glasses are upside down, as they should be. Food and drinks are authentically Italian, not just panna cotta for dessert. A taste dream, not just visually, see picture. Can be expanded: no greetings from the kitchen, even for those who order antipasti, primi and secondi (you could understand this if you're munching on pizza at lunchtime); Service was quick and friendly, but a (re)order of water somehow went missing. Annoying: you have to ask for oil and vinegar. Strange: no white or pizza bread for the starter (rocket salad). Sad: instead of stylish salt and pepper mills, only simple shakers. Despite the shortcomings, the Ristorante Castello Belvedere gets five stars from me - for the top food. These are organizational inadequacies that the owner can remedy quickly and easily. Next time I visit I'll see if anything has changed.

Unfortunately my wife and I were very disappointed this evening. The location is great! But that was it. A 0.4 liter cola was sold on the menu for €5. We ordered two and received 0.33 l twice. I mentioned it to customer service and they told me twice that they would take care of it straight away. After about half an hour it was mentioned that these drinks would be charged at €4 each. Unfortunately this only happened with one drink. Then the wrong pizza was served. My wife then ate alone because they had to make my pizza again. The tuna on the pizza was very greasy and oily. Had a slightly metallic taste. Unfortunately we were very disappointed.

Eat like in Italy. Price performance a little higher.

I really wanted to try tiramisu. And I didn’t like the presentation or taste at all. I want to try other dishes next time. But I don’t recommend trying dessert there. The waitress was not friendly, we waited a long time for them to come to us.

As a guest in Bad Brückenau and chose this Italian restaurant for dinner because it was within walking distance of the Dorint Hotel and, according to the pictures, it had a nice, more upscale atmosphere. Suitable for a special occasion. In short: The food was really good (calzone, bruschetta parma, amatriciana, saltimbocca romana). The ambience is also quite elegant, unfortunately there was no pleasant background music, so you had to listen to the staff's loud discussions in Italian instead. At 9 p.m. there was only one other table occupied with guests. Pricing is okay, but not entirely coherent (0.3 liter Campari Orange €7, 0.33 liter Diet Coke €5). Unfortunately, the service was appalling and (as can be seen in some other reviews) doesn't fit into the overall picture at all. A very cool welcome, when you asked about a cloakroom, your coats weren't taken away (certainly not what we expected, but it would have fit in there so well). When we ordered food, it was acknowledged without comment - everything without a friendly word and with a grim expression. Unfortunately no bread with olive oil or anything similar in advance. The drinks and food came quickly. Unfortunately, there was no bon appetit or anything like that, you had to pour yourself drinks. But no one came over during the meal, so we got up ourselves to look for staff to order another drink. The appetizers were also cleared away without comment. After the main course there was no question about dessert or coffee, instead there were loud discussions again in the entrance area. We then decided to leave the ristorante. You then had to go to the counter to pay by card, as there would be no WiFi in the guest room (repeater? - somehow no longer up to date). Unfortunately you can't deduct tips, otherwise we would have. I can absolutely understand why many guests don't go there a second time and that's a shame because in my opinion it's just the service. The food and ambience are really good, so you could easily have a much better average rating.

Super great service. We ate there twice in a row. The first time for my wife's birthday. We enjoyed it so much that we ate there again the next day.

The food and drink is far too expensive for the size, a small portion of pasta costs €14 and a 0.75 water bottle costs €8. These are just 2 examples. I was there for the first time and also the last time.

I went to this restaurant during a weekend with my family... I highly recommend this property for everything, from the cuisine to the service and finally the location (beautiful) thank you for everything...... When I'm in the area again I will certainly return

After a year in this restaurant again, but this time alone. The food and ambience are still good. ....until the plate is cleared, the service is also: attentive, friendly, fast. Afterwards: the dessert was praised to all the groups of tables around me and asked if it could be another espresso. Unfortunately, this service was not available for me as an individual. After several attempts on my part to get one of the two servants to notice me failed, I lost the desire for dessert. Thank God I was able to place the order for an espresso. It's a shame, the evening started well, but ended in annoyance at the ignorance towards an individual customer. By the way, the restaurant was only a quarter full.

The food was good. Great ambience and view of the state baths. Unfortunately the pizza wasn't quite crispy and there was too much cheese for my taste. The scallopines were very good with delicious grilled vegetables.

Long waiting time, even though there were no other guests in the restaurant. In the next room there was a closed group of around 15 people, with “normal” guests left out.

We ate quite well but: - The wine ordered was never what it was supposed to be - We left the grappa (no one was interested) - When the wine and water came, they simply placed it on the table (we then served ourselves) - It was cleared away without asking whether everything was good or whether we had any further wishes - Even when paying, not a single word about the visit. - When it comes to the ambience, we would say: the owner fits perfectly into this building. A restaurant with style belongs here. As I said, the food was good, but especially the service wasn't.

I would give even more stars if it were possible. The food, we had a wonderful stone oven pizza, was simply delicious. Plus a delicious wine. The crowning glory was the outstanding, friendly owner, Angelo, who served us excellently and provided a warm and unforgettable stay. We'll definitely be back.

Wir waren in den letzten Jahren hin und wieder dort essen... Quallität und Service waren schon immer mittelmäßig, durch die abgelegene Lage des Hotels Dorint, hat man leider wenig Optionen. Dieser Besuch ,der von extrem langer Wartezeit ,unmotiviertem Personal und einem Chef mit Hang zur Agressivität geprägt war, hat uns veranlasst dieses Lokal nicht mehr zu besuchen. Meine Frau wurde nachdem ich das Lokal aus anderen Gründen vorzeitig verlassen habe , vor allen anderen Gästen vom Geschäftsführer beschimft und beleidigt . Diese Art und Weise , hat mit Gastfreundschaft und Service am Kunden nichts zu tun. Dieses Restaurant hätte in anderer Umgebung mit mehr Konkurrenz und ohne die ausgesprochen gute Lage , keine Überlebenschance. Wer meint sich darauf ausruhen zu können , wird in Zukunft ohne uns auskommen müssen ....

Although the restaurant is in a nice area with a great view of the garden, the food fell short of expectations. For our taste the flavors were not good (too much salt, too much butter, not olive oil but oil...). Also, the service took too long for the type of food (pasta) (more than 1 hour between starter and main course). All in all, the price-quality ratio was not good.

We visited the restaurant on our vacation and were really looking forward to the visit, it should be a successful conclusion. We waited almost 1.5 hours for our main course, there was no apology from the staff, anyway the staff was very unfriendly and cold. We also didn't get any bread with the main course, but all the other tables did. The tagliatelle were still a little firm and there were still a lot of bones in the salmon. Unfortunately our experience with the restaurant was not good, which is a shame as the reviews otherwise seem to indicate that this is not the case.

Neben zwei völlig geschmacksneutralen Pizzen, war unser Highlight der Tisch mit Aussicht! Leider auf die Herrentoilette, deren Tür permanent offen stand - und auf Personal, dass besagte Toilette verließ, ohne sich die Hände zu waschen. Nie wieder…!!!

As a former employee, don't leave tips because the owner Angelo Valenzano pockets them all to pay illegal employees who don't have legal contracts. pre-cooked food, bullying during service by the owners, there is no staff that speaks German because they don't pay enough to afford qualified staff (1000-1200€ for 12 hours of work), that explains exactly why a Place that has more than 150 seats does not have at least 4-5 waiters. Cleanliness 0 humanity below zero. Very high prices for the quality of the goods you buy.

A bit overwhelmed. In a time-honored building with a postcard view of the spa gardens from the terrace, your expectations may be too high. When I entered and asked for a table for one person, the route to the table was briefly described to me and I was supposed to take the menu with me straight away. The menu is structured in a classic Italian way (antipasti, primo piatto, secondo piatto, pizza, dolce. It is noticeable that the daily recommendations are significantly more expensive than à la carte. After about 15 minutes and my query, my order is taken. The incorrectly delivered water will be corrected. The Pinot Grigio smells fine, but in the mouth the difference to acidified, alcoholic water is marginal. The salad was accidentally delivered without bread. I wouldn't have recognized the oil in the vinegar-and-oil table setting as olive oil in a blind test. The mixed salad is beautifully prepared and tasty. 40 minutes after ordering (despite only 30 percent table occupancy), the Primo Piatto, Spaghetti Alio e Olio, arrives, even at the neighboring table. The dish is good, a little oily, but within limits. I forego a Secondo Piatto. The evening cost me 33 euros.

Essen ok, Service Katastrophe. Ewig aufs Essen gewartet, waren nicht die einzigen. Das Personal wurde mehrfach gefragt wann das Essen denn käme. Hatten den Tisch um 19 Uhr und um 20:40 Uhr kam das Hauptgericht. Am Ende habe ich aus Anstand sogar noch 5,-€ Trinkgeld gegeben, wenn’s mir gefällt, gebe ich mehr. Die 5,-€ wurden Kommentarlos (vom Chef) ins Portmonee gesteckt, ohne sich zu bedanken. Absolut keine Empfehlung!!!

Wo soll man da anfangen? Evtl. am Ende eines denkwürdigen Abends: wir waren mit bei den letzten Gästen (warum weiter unten), und mussten mit ansehen, wie der Chef auf die Toilette ging. Die Tür der Herrentoilette stand immer offen und im Gastraum hatte man daher immer freie Sicht auf das Geschehen. Passend zum Verlauf des Abends durften wir Zeuge werden, wie der Chef eines Gastrobetriebes nach dem Urinieren ohne Händewaschen wieder an die Arbeit ging und munter weiter arbeitete. Hygiene ist wohl in Italien anders bewertet… Davor hatten wir Pizza, die eher einfallslos war und definitiv nicht zu unseren kulinarischen Highlights gehört. Man könnte sagen: selber Schuld, hättet euch ja aus der Speisekarte etwas anderes aussuchen können. Stimmt, und das haben wir tatsächlich auch. Nur hat uns der besagte Chef (der mit dem Hygieneproblem) erst bei der Bestellung gesagt, dass unsere Wahl nicht verfügbar ist. Hätte er auch sagen können als er uns die Speisekarte gegeben hat, hat er aber nicht. Da hatten wir allerdings schon über 30 Minuten auf unsere Getränke gewartet die wir bei der Übergabe der Speisekarte bestellt hatten. Zwischen der Vorspeise (Salat, der bei aller Kritik das alleinige Highlight des Abends war) und der besagten Pizza, hatten wir ausreichend Zeit (wiederum 30 Minuten) uns an dem Service zu erfreuen: der Versuch ein weiteres Bier zu bestellen, scheiterte an der Bedienung, die weder der deutschen, noch der englischen Sprache mächtig war. Was hier nach einem emotionalen Verriss klingt, entspricht 1:1 unseren Erfahrungen und die positiven Bewertungen lassen hoffen, dass andere Gäste bessere Erfahrungen machen dürfen (sofern sich der Chef dann die Finger wäscht nach dem Pieseln).

Ambiente ist sehr schön, Service bemüht aber überlastet; 2. Glas Wein kam nach dem Hauptgang, Rechnung dauerte ebenfalls lange - bitte mehr Personal. Pizza war gut, scaloppine waren lauwarm
