Café M. Restaurant in Bad Brückenau

The pizza there is extremely delicious, and the other dishes looked good too. During service, the manager even took the time to check an ingredient in the kitchen for citric acid because one of our guests at the table had an intolerance. And that was despite the restaurant being full and busy. Not everyone does that! The prices are moderate, and the ambiance, especially in the dining room, is pleasant. Great place.

We were greeted very unfriendly, or rather not greeted at all. We wanted to reserve a table for the evening, but then we changed our minds because we felt we would be a nuisance.

Strange gentleman who is serving and/or the boss? When we asked about a menu, we were told that there was nothing on it, without any further explanation. Later, while the music was blaring from the big JBL boom box, he absentmindedly scattered cushions on the surrounding chairs. We ordered a beer and a tea. Thankfully, that's possible without a card. When we asked for the bill, there was no response, not even eye contact. After two minutes and puzzled glances at the table, I asked again, to which I was told that he was two meters away from me and had heard it the first time. I replied that I had missed some kind of response the first time... the nice lady who came later to pay, on the other hand, was very friendly. I still wouldn't go there again. It's just a strange, unfriendly atmosphere. Later, while we were hiking, we went to eat at the Hexenhäuschen, two kilometers away. Everything was great there.

We were there at lunch to reserve a table, and the welcome was very warm. We arrived on time in the evening. The waitress had a very grim expression and slapped five menus down on the table for 11 of us. We ordered; the menu said venison, which was wild boar. The roulades came without red cabbage, so we had to ask for it. There was a hair in my food. When I complained, I received no apology, just an annoyed look and the accusation that I had put it in myself. The waitress was very rude, no smile, nothing. Completely out of character. Card payments aren't accepted, and the portions were very small; the men were all still hungry. Not recommended!

Absolutely inappropriate! Yesterday, the two of us wanted to go out to dinner around 8 p.m. The lady of the house treated us rudely. Not a "good afternoon," but "what...". When we asked about dinner, she replied, "No kitchen" (it was open until 11 p.m., but it wasn't even 8 p.m.!). Simply rude and unable to formulate complete sentences. I recommend staying well away from this place.

Café M is the best thing that could have happened to me during rehab. In the evenings after the treatments, I loved going back to Café M for a Kreuzberg beer to end the day. The manager and the staff are super friendly, and the beer garden is simply wonderful for relaxing and offering the opportunity to chat with others. On my treatment-free afternoons, I also go to Café M for a cappuccino and a delicious piece of cake or tart. I was surprised that I didn't pay more in a spa town than I would in our small town. On the weekend when my wife visited me, there was no question for us: we only go to Café M for lunch. The beef roulade and the venison roast are a dream. Better than at "Mother's." The pizza, for a quick snack, is just as good as at an Italian restaurant. I'm thrilled! If I ever go on a health cure again, I'll go back to Bad Brückenau just because of Café M.

Hello We visited my husband in rehab yesterday, and he came with us to the cafe. It looks cozy, the service was nice. But the cake wasn't homemade; he had a Black Forest cake, and my husband had a pistachio poppy seed cake. All the slices looked the same. That's why the cake only gets 2*, and the price for the cake, which unfortunately isn't homemade, is €4.20 per slice, which is extortionate. I also come from a spa town, but there's a baker in our town who still makes all the cakes himself, and a slice of Black Forest cake costs €2.50, and it tastes great, too.

Unfortunately, our visit to Kaffee M was disappointing. The manager, who also served, seemed unfriendly and unaccommodating. Even when ordering, individual requests were barely accommodated – instead, they tried to force-feed us a pre-prepared, mediocre dish. The pizza was obviously homemade, but the dough was very reminiscent of cheap, mass-produced food – not a recommendation in terms of taste. Overall, the dish seemed carelessly prepared and, accordingly, tasted poor. If you're intolerant to certain ingredients, you're out of luck: instead of being flexible, you had no choice but to laboriously pick out what you couldn't eat. Overall, a rather mediocre to poor experience, one we wouldn't want to repeat.

No card payments accepted. No milk alternatives offered.

It's ok for a little hunger in between meals. However, you should bring some time. After ordering, it takes an unusually long time for the food to be on the table. Card payment is not possible at all. In itself an absurdity in 2025.

The service is quite nice, although you had to wait a little longer. Pizza was a bit oversalted. Nevertheless, we thought it was nice there.

Were received very coldly, didn't really feel welcome. We were also immediately informed that we were allowed to sit at the free table, but that other guests would certainly be seated there. Unfortunately, card payment is not possible either.

If you are in Bad Brückenau and want a good pizza or antipasti, you should definitely go here and not to the Belvedere. Thank you for the delicious food, especially the roast with dumplings and red cabbage. And the fantastic pizza and bruschetta. You can taste it is homemade and cooked with love.

If you are looking for a cozy restaurant with flair and charm, you have come to the right place. The restaurant is very nice and furnished with love, the hosts are warm and very accommodating. The food is very good, if you like game dishes you have to eat here. In short Café M is highly recommended.

The hospitality was top and the food was very tasty. We had a good selection from the daily menu and were able to end our evening well after a relaxing spa day. I can definitely recommend it! :)

The service was subpar. I have never experienced such listless and unfriendly service. In addition, she was probably not able to take my order correctly and instead of admitting the mistake, she preferred to blame it on the customer. Never again!

Super good cappuccino with heart! Enjoyed the best pistachio poppy seed cake on recommendation! Price performance is appropriate! I'll be back on Wednesday to enjoy the game dishes 🐗 🦌!

I wanted to get some lunch or snack but the waitress informed me very rudely that no food before 5:45pm. I hen asking for cake she said to check out the counter - did not even offer to tell me. Rude and not worth it given the view is not good either.

Discovered it by chance during a short break and we were amazed by the friendly atmosphere and ambience. The price-performance ratio is also right and we would be happy to come back.

I was there on Saturday June 29th, 2024 and was pretty disappointed. I used to be a regular there because I lived in the state spa. Was always positive. But now I'm horrified, the landlady is cold and reserved. Apparently overwhelmed with 4 guests. I wanted to eat something after she brought me my drink... a cigarette was more important, then at some point she brought me the menu and made me understand that there was only pizza left. Another cigarette was smoked and I was completely ignored. Then I put my money for the drink under my glass and left. It's a real shame, but for me this place and its landlady have become disenchanted. I'm sad 😢 We used to be really good friends

Very tasty food! We had beef roulade and roast wild boar, each with dumplings and red cabbage. It tasted excellent! Unfortunately, only cash payment is possible. But otherwise an absolute recommendation!

A really incredibly cozy little restaurant (Cafe/Bar) which, in addition to excellent food at absolutely reasonable prices, is more than distinguished by the really great and attentive service from the owners. The “M” can only be warmly RECOMMENDED!

Just awesome. Cozy atmosphere with a fireplace. Service is extremely friendly and keeps eye contact if you have any further requests. The food is rustic but still beautifully and lovingly prepared. We had the antipasti plate, sauerbraten and the porcini mushroom tagliatelle. Super tasty, antipasti even outstanding for me.

Ambiance is nice, but the cake is rather average.

Riktigt trevlig restaurang med mycket trevlig och proffsig personal. Maten var mycket god och gjord med stor kärlek. Rekommenderar varmt ett besök här och jag återkommer om jag är i närheten det garanterar jag! Värt att veta är att restaurangen enbart tar kontanter.

Wir haben spontan einen Platz bekommen. Bedienung war zu uns sehr freundlich. Leider war das Highlight Klosterbier alle und der Hirschbraten war Wildschweinbraten. Essen hat uns geschmeckt. Wände und Decke sehr grau.

Wir waren heute im Café M und es war einfach wundervoll. Der Kuchen sehr lecker, der Milchschaum auf dem Cappuccino spitze und die Bedienung super freundlich , nahm sich die Zeit für ein sehr persönliches Gespräch. Danke dafür ! Eine Oase im Grünen! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Um 13.50 Uhr war die Küche bereits für die aufwendigeren Tageskartengerichte geschlossen. Als Auswahl blieben Pizzen. Die waren zwar gut, aber trotzdem war es alles in allem recht unbefriedigend.

Das Personal war freundlich und schnell, das Ambiente schön und ruhig. Die Pizza war gut und günstig.

Uriges, schönes kleines Café, Bar, und Disco. Mit Herzblut von den Inhabern betrieben und liebevoll eingerichtet ( ich hätte immer noch gern zwei Wandlampen 😉 ) Die Pizza ist super lecker und die Preise absolut angemessen. Ich komme sehr gern wieder.

Gemütliches uriges Restaurant/Kaffee. Hier erlebt man Hausmannskost sowie selbst gemachte Pizzen. Auch leckerer Kuchen ist im Angebot, hier sind alle zu empfehlen. Das nette und aufmerksame Wirtspaar vermittelt etwas Heimisches! Danke für den gelungenen Aufenthalt.

Sehr schön zu essen was ich nur anmerken muss Mann solle nicht so an der Tür sitzen weil es da doch mal wie Hecht Suppe zieht aber an an sich Service war recht zügig zur Stelle und die Qualität hat dem auch entsprochen.

Das Essen im Café M war sehr lecker. Teilweise war die Bedienung auch reserviert, dennoch zu jeder Zeit freundlich. Wir haben für mehrere Getränke, einen Kuche und Zwei Pizzen (+ Vorspeise) weniger als 50€ bezahlt, was mehr als in Ordnung ist - auch das Ambiente mit Ofen ist sehr schön. Sollten wir wieder in Bad Brückenau sein, werden wir das Café M definitiv noch einmal besuchen!
