It is a family owned restaurant and that’s why you seem to get almost home cooked meal feeling. The food is savoury and served in generous portions. The service is friendly, attentive and prompt, without anyone hovering over your head. The location is on a calmer street with plenty of street parking available. Can be reserved for large groups, birthday parties or any other occasion. Honest home made Italian food.

Super friendly staff, my food was absolutely delicious and the teramisu is gigantic. I can only recommend the restaurant. There is no parking...you should reserve a table.

The family-run restaurant is simply wonderful. You are warmly welcomed. As soon as you enter you feel a little closer to Italy. Silvio, the chef, creates incredibly tasty Italian dishes that you don't find at every Italian restaurant. Completely satisfied!

You don't find them that often anymore - Italian restaurants run by Italian families. But the Capitano is such a pearl. Small restaurant with a menu that is not overly crowded but offers some very good dishes in the standard categories of pasta, pizza, meat, fish and dessert. My lasagna was terrific, my wife's penne was also great and everything I saw at the neighboring tables was also great. For dessert, pistachio tiramisu - I didn't know that either, but it's also very tasty. The staff was very friendly and approachable without being intrusive. We had special requests to get a vegetarian dish and that went without a problem. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality. The ambience is that of a "typical" Italian, so it's more rustic than fancy. We were there Friday evening and it was full. I think it makes sense to reserve.

The food is very tasty and the service is extremely warm and very friendly. You immediately feel comfortable. The fish was particularly tasty and cooked to perfection: wonderfully crispy on the outside, beautifully tender on the inside. The prices are probably on the higher end, but the quality justifies it. Would go again

In the heart of Reinickendorf there is an absolute insider tip in Berlin. The Italian kitchen is also run by real Italians and is a real family business. As far as my taste is concerned, the food is outstanding and I like this family atmosphere - everyone from young to old gets involved. Try to eat there at least once a month.

Good food doesn't come cheap, but you can also overdo it. The bruschetta and salad were really good but I found it all a bit too expensive. The service at the table was friendly, but I found that paying with the lecture that cash was better was very tiring. For me, the store will remain the exception as we have equivalent quality and better cheaper items in the area.

The pizza & pasta transports you to Italy directly! It is unbelievably tasty. My go to place for the perfect handmade tiramisu! Never have I ever tasted a better tiramisu. The staff is super friendly! I would 10/10 recommend visiting here.

We had reserved a table because we ate there on Mother's Day. It took quite a long time until we received the menus. After ordering the drinks, it took a while for them to arrive, but that was okay. The restaurant was very busy and I could only see 2 wait staff, which is very little for the size of the restaurant. The food was very tasty. As an appatizer you get bread and then good olive oil is drizzled on a small plate plus salt and pepper. The olive oil is then taken back with you. There was no balsamic vinegar.

Wir kommen schon seit einigen Jahren immer wieder gerne her. Nicht nur das wir mit dem Essen über alles zufrieden sind, gefällt uns auch die ganze familiäre Atmosphäre. Der beste Italiener für meinen verwöhnten Gaumen. Der Familienbetrieb besticht durch die tollen Gerichte in der Karte und auch die wechselnde Wochenkarte lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es wird viel Wert auf Qualität der Waren gelegt. Wer Wert auf gutes Essen legt, ist hier genau richtig. Die Familie ist sehr herzlich, man fühlt sich immer willkommen. Sehr zu empfehlen... einfach nur lecker.

Wir hatten für ein romantisches Abendessen reserviert und ein liebevoll geschmückter Tisch erwartete uns. Von der netten Begrüßung bis zu den Speisen und Getränken war alles perfekt. Im Capitano kann man sich wunderbar unterhalten, die Balance zwischen Versorgung und Nachfrage hat absolute Profiqualität und ist immer mit einem Lächeln für den Gast verfügbar, aber niemals aufdringlich. Traumhaft schönes Essen alles wird Hausgemacht selbst das Brot die Leute sind sehr nett und umsichtig wir würden gerne wieder hingehen nur leider sind uns über 30 Kilometer zu viel. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist mehr als gut 👍 ich hab leider keine Fotos gemacht hab mein Handy vergessen l

Ein schönes kleines italienisches Restaurant am Rande des Märkischen Viertels. Das Essen (Pizza) hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Kurz gesagt "Wir waren begeistert " Obwohl wir schon sehr lange in der Gegend wohnen, waren wir dort zum ersten Mal. Die Tischreservierung war problemlos. Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind sehr beschränkt in der ganzen Gegend. Habe mich auf dem Grundstück auf einen freien Platz gestellt, war kein Problem. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und der zugewiesene Tisch war für 2 Personen gut geeignet. In der übersichtlichen Speisekarte war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Der italienischen Inhaber Familie merkt man durch die freundliche und sehr aufmerksame Bedienung an wie wichtig ihnen ihre Gäste sind. Gegessen hat meine Frau Bandnudeln mit Filetspitzen(sie war begeistert) und ich eine Pizza (die Beste die ich seit langem gegessen habe)an der alles gestimmt hat. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder und ich werde nochmal berichten.

Wir waren zu viert und hatten alle unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellt. Es war alles sehr gut! Wir waren sehr zufrieden! Die Bedienung war nett und es gab auch noch ein Schnäpperken zum Abschied.

Toller Familien betrieb Sohn und Mutter …. Die Leidenschaft des Chef Koch Silvio in der Küche mit wechselnden Spezialitäten und immer einer neuen Idee auch bei dem Dessert und bei Events … die Bedienung liebevoll und herzlich !!

Das Restaurant ist nur zu empfehlen!!! Hervorragender Service und das Essen fantastisch. Alle Gerichte werden frisch zubereitet, was man auch schmeckt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Sehr gute Lasagne, obwohl sie nicht auf der Karte stand. Service etwas langsam, ab ok und sehr freundlich. Preis - Leistung voll in Ordnung. Gern wieder.

Ein traditioneller Italiener mit sehr leckeren Speisen und Getränken. Seit vielen Jahren mein Lieblings Italiener. Alles frisch gekocht, Sonderwünsche werden erfüllt, sofern umsetzbar. Das Foccacia ist ein Muss. Das beste weit und breit. Die Pizzen allesamt lecker. Bin immer wieder gerne dort und alle, die mit mir dort essen waren, waren begeistert und sind wiedergekommen. Eine Top Empfehlung.

Gemütliche kleine Ristorante. Herrlich sympatische, italienische Bedienung und vor allem das Essen. Super lecker, wie in Italien, was keine Selbstverständlichkeit in Deutschland ist. Viele machen die Pizzen und Pasta viel zu "deutsch". Hier nicht. Wir waren jahrlang nicht mehr da, werden aber wieder öfter kommen. Als i-Tüpfelchen: Es gibt Birra Moretti vom Faß, mein Lieblingsbier aus Italien.

Ich bin immer gern da, schöne Atmosphäre, sehr nette Bedienung und wirklich gutes, italienisches Essen. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Da es keine Kinderkarte gibt, haben wir diesmal für unsere jüngere Tochter eine kleine Portion bestellt, wie es in der Karte angeboten wird. Dass die Lasagne (nach Augenschein etwa die halbe Portion) dann 11,90 kostet, die normale dagegen 12,50, fand ich nicht angemessen. Das sollte man bei der Preisgestaltung überdenken. Nachtrag: die netten Jungs vom Capitano haben noch mal angerufen – da wir ein Gericht hatten, das nicht auf der Karte stand, ging es auf der Rechnung etwas durcheinander. Die Kinder-Lasagne war eigentlich ein anderes Gericht. Ich nehme die Kritik zurück und gebe noch den fünften Stern.

Ein großartiges Restaurant mit sehr netter Bedienung und ausgezeichnetem Essen. Besonders das Schokotörtchen muss nach jedem Essen sein! 🥰

Super gute Pizza - eine der besten, wenn nicht sogar die beste, die wir jemals gegessen haben. Schöne gemütliche Einrichtung und netter Service. Preislich nicht die günstigsten aber absolut im Rahmen.
