Yes, very much so! You sit right on the banks of the Rhine, slightly elevated – with a fantastic view of the water, the opposite bank, and the mountains. And the best part: the pizza was super good and delicious – served by very friendly staff! I wish I could eat at a place like this every holiday evening!

The restaurant was recommended to me. Unfortunately, the food and service that evening were disastrous. Not only was there a large screw in my meal, without even an apology, but I was also ripped off with the bill.

Beautiful terrace with a view of Stolzensfels Castle and the Rhine. Unfortunately, that was the only positive thing. When we arrived, the staff were busy eating, which is perfectly fine. However, it's not entirely acceptable when you want to order and are told that the staff are busy eating. If you say so in a friendly manner, it's legitimate, but if you say so in an annoyed manner, it's not. A real shame. The cake was a bit old, and the ice cream was nothing special. A real shame for a location in this location that offers so much opportunity and potential.

Okay, first, the location: Right on the Rhine with a great view of the water. It definitely has potential! Service: A little more enthusiasm would be an advantage in this industry. Food: Unfortunately, the cake we ordered was a bit old and very dry. CONCLUSION: You can do it, but you don't have to. It has incredible potential. You just need to invest some love and money.

Impossible! I arrive at the outdoor terrace with my family at 2:45 p.m., two tables are occupied and guests are eating. Which was my plan. Even though we were seen, no one came to our table. It can happen. After more than 10 minutes, I went inside and asked to be served. They agreed. A short while later, the waitress appeared and said, "We're closed now; the Rhine will be on fire this evening," and disappeared again. Customer service and courtesy? Apparently, they're not concepts here. What a shame.

I can only review the outdoor terrace, as I didn't eat in the restaurant. Unfortunately, one gets the impression that the sole objective here is to maximize profits. The furnishings, equipment, and maintenance of the outdoor area are mediocre to poor. The only advantage is the location directly on the Rhine. I had an ice cream. In short: you can skip that... What a shame.

We were there, and the service was very rude and irritable from the start. The food was practically "thrown" in our faces, and ordering dessert and paying the bill took a long time. We never received the bill, so we had to take the waiter's word for it. The waiter was taking a smoke break next to us and was loudly complaining about people. It was probably a bad day, but it still screams unprofessionalism. The food was okay, especially for the price, and the drinks were unfortunately lukewarm; we wouldn't visit the restaurant again. The view is excellent, but the restaurant needs a lot more work on its appearance and hygiene/cleanliness. Frank Rosin is needed here.

A culinary delight with a stunning view! The Rheinkrone in Lahnstein is a true gem! You'll receive a warm welcome as soon as you enter – and the view of the Rhine Valley is simply breathtaking. But what really impresses is the cuisine: The antipasti platter was a poem! Lovingly prepared, perfectly grilled vegetables, the finest salmon, tender Parma ham, fresh arugula, and wonderfully aged cheese – every bite was a delight. Add a glass of Aperol Spritz, and the day is perfect. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding, and you can tell the passion for cooking is evident here. The service was also attentive and friendly, without being intrusive. A place where you feel completely at home – whether for a romantic dinner, a family outing, or simply to treat yourself. We'll definitely be back!

A bit hidden, but overall, there's nothing to complain about. We had Jägerschnitzel, Zigeunerschnitzel, all with fries and salad from the buffet, as well as a pizza. The price/performance ratio is perfectly fine. The staff is attentive and friendly.

Definitely worth it. The food is delicious and the ambiance is also very nice. If you enjoy sitting on the Rhine and watching the ships while enjoying a good meal or simply a glass of wine, you'll love this place. There are several paths nearby where you can take lovely walks.

Beautiful terrace in the summer with a view of the Rhine and Koblenz Stolzenfels, as well as Stolzenfels Castle. Good food. There was a small but delicious welcome from the kitchen. Both the food (pizza and salad) were highly recommended. The cucumber and tomatoes were a bit oversized, though. But everything tasted great. The service was super friendly and helpful. We were treated to a small nightcap before leaving. We'd be happy to come back.

The food wasn't good for any of us (five people). For example, the salad had chicken strips. The chicken was from the day before, the salad was barely seasoned, and the pasta was bland. The tables wobbled, which wasn't a problem, but the table chocks were kicked across the terrace instead of being bent down and picked up.

Unfortunately, not anymore!! We always enjoyed going there; the service was quick and friendly, and the food was good. The restrooms were incredibly dirty, we had to wait a terribly long time for drinks and orders, and we had reserved a table and had to change after 2.5 hours even though we hadn't finished eating. The outdoor terrace is also unfortunately very unkempt, which is a shame, because it's such a beautiful location... All in all, no longer recommended.

Never had such a bad meal as there. The spaghetti with olives and sun-dried tomatoes was pasta in vegetable broth. More like soup than sauce. Horrible. Served with lettuce leaves and watermelon on top. The pizza, in my opinion, was frozen pizza. Far too hard. Definitely not homemade, and the bruschetta was partly burnt and too crispy. The beer was delicious and the view of the Rhine is very beautiful. They kindly gave us a free coffee after complaining.

And everything was great during our visit. And very authentic. And I would say the food is better than it seems from the outside. It was the first time, but not the last.

I was visiting Koblenz with my family and spontaneously decided to go out for dinner. There was a table available, so I made a reservation. About the food: The food wasn't tasty; it had way too much salt. The salad also seemed older, and where we made our own salad, we were greeted by what felt like 1,000 flies. In short, not recommended.

Beautifully situated with terrace on the Rhine. Delicious food, large portions and tasty. As a surprise we got bread with 3 types of butter and 2 brunettes as an amuse. Starter frutti di mare, 3 people could have eaten from it. Melon with ham was also tasty and plenty. Main course steak with shrimps and mushrooms in white wine sauce. There is a salad bar included but we hardly used it given the abundance of food. Very good price/quality.

We were here for dinner on May 27, 2025. I had penne al forno, which is pasta baked with cheese. However, only 1/4 of the surface was baked. Overall, everything here was lacking in love: ambience, service, and food. The cucumbers and tomatoes in the salad were no longer fresh. We would go somewhere else next time.

It was a real shame that I didn't see the asparagus menu until I was paying. The pizza and beer were delicious.

I had a cream of asparagus soup and a rump steak with asparagus and hollandaise sauce. My wife had pork medallions (unseasoned with strange taste), also with asparagus and hollandaise sauce. The “asparagus cream soup” was rather watery, i.e. without cream, but with lots of “fatty eyes”. The hollandaise sauce had the consistency and taste of a packet soup from a well-known manufacturer that had already been extended three times. The atmosphere in the restaurant had the charm of days gone by. All in all, my conclusion is: The customer is a tourist and won't be coming back anyway.

We were there in January, very inconspicuous from the outside, very nice inside. The service was very friendly and attentive. We highly recommended Calamari alla Griglia and Tagliatelle Rheinkrone.

Ich war zum Mittagstisch und hatte als Hauptgericht Spagetti mit Thunfisch. Ich hatte schon nicht alles aufgegessen , weil viel zu viel Öl auf dem Teller schwamm. Ich war noch nicht zu Hause, da wurde mir schon übel. Dummerweise musste ich auch noch 2 Stunden mit dem Auto fahren. Die Autofahrt war echt eine Strapaze. Nachdem ich mich in über mehrere Stunden erbrochen hatte, ging es mir etwas besser. Ich darf nur nicht an dieses Essen denken…….Ich war echt 2 Tage krank! Ich frage mich auch, wie man für 12 Euro gutes frisches Essen mit Salatbar, Suppe, Hauptgericht, Nachtisch und noch ein Getränk auf Kosten des Hauses gewinnbringend anbieten kann ?!? Wäre nicht etwas teurer für bessere Qualität das bessere Angebot? Den 2. Punkt habe ich nur vergeben, weil das Restaurant sehr sauber war, die Tische waren sehr nett gedeckt und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Im Sommer kann man sehr schön ein Bier auf der Terrasse trinken, Essen werde ich mit Sicherheit dort nicht mehr!

We happened to be there for lunch on New Year's Eve. Super delicious, huge portions (I had the rump steak), very fast, friendly service, reasonable prices... and the view over the Rhine! We'll be back!

As excited as we were when we first ordered, we are just as disappointed now, side salad and vegetables were completely missing, my (so-called) large salad was so-so, the sauce actually only tasted like water, after I seasoned it with my own from home it tasted good too, and actually the meat and sauce were ok too, but the highlight was to claim (even though) I knew full well that instead of €40, I had given €45 to claim that I only had €40 Given that I didn't want to cause a riot in the restaurant, I left, so very, very disappointing, even though it was very good and tasty the first time

I read good and bad reviews, but I wanted to take a look myself. My experiences were positive! The atmosphere and location were great, on the Rhein and a well-stocked terrace and restaurant (if it were really bad, there would be no guests, I think). The service was excellent, smooth and customer-friendly. We enjoyed delicious bruchettas with our beers, then we enjoyed a delicious carpaccio and pasta while enjoying delicious red and white wine. Yes, it is true that the restaurant is somewhat dated and needs some renovation here and there, but it does not alter the fact that I spent a wonderful afternoon/evening there with good food and drinks.

We had reserved a table for 9 people at short notice. It was busy but we were constantly put behind. We hadn't had any drinks yet but we had already eaten the greetings from the kitchen. We waited over an hour for our food. Only one of nine meals arrived after about 20 minutes (spaghetti bolognese, which we had ordered twice). The person was already finished long before the rest of us got ours. The next table had already been reoccupied and the food was ready again. The reason given by the waitress: Pizza is quick and is therefore preferred and the kitchen is poorly staffed. We couldn't order drinks a second time and the food wasn't very special either. We weren't told that if you had meat dishes you could get salad from the salad bar. When we asked, we were allowed to do so, but there was no more salad because it wasn't refilled. Then one of our meals was forgotten. There was a problem with the EC device when paying and despite proof from online banking, I had to pay a second time (the boss requested this). He was then satisfied with a copy of the receipt from his device. There were plenty of excuses, but not even an apology for the long wait. Otherwise you probably get a schnapps after your meal, but that wasn't offered to us either. It's a shame but because of the terrible service we'll never go there again. Since it's nice to sit outside with a view of the Rhine and the prices are reasonable, it's a well-intentioned 2 stars.

War zuerst wegen 2 negativen Bewertungen skeptisch. Bin aber total positiv überrascht. Bedienung freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Super schöne Terasse direkt am Rhein. Essen und Wein top, günstig. Obendrauf noch kostenlos Bruschetta und Brötchen mit verschiedenen Aufstrichen. Kein 5 Sterne Speiserestaurant - aber das muss es auch nicht immer sein. Volle 5 Sterne aus meiner Sicht!

The last time we were there was 25 years ago and we said back then that this would be the last time. We got over ourselves again and went there because of the situation. They won't see us again for 25 years. We ate pasta dishes, absolutely not recommended, bad to inedible.

I had also been there before and ordered a rum steak because I wanted it medium rare but it was totally dry, so I ordered a new steak and it was totally raw. I was there in 2013 and the food was always very good. Maybe it was who changed pitches, a shame because the location is just beautiful

Beautiful location on the Rhine. However, the restaurant and terrace are not clean and require a lot of maintenance. Carpaccio with raw mushrooms, strange combination and not tasty. The gypsy sauce on the schnitzel is very salty, a second schnitzel was with the same salty sauce. So we won't eat here anymore.

Wir wurden von der Bedienung mit dem Hinweis empfangen, sie komme in einer Viertelstunde wieder, weil der Koch am Essen sei. Meine Frage, ob wir jetzt wenigstens etwas zu Trinken bestellen dürfen, wurde mit einem unwilligen Gesicht quittiert. Freundlicherweise bekamen wir die Getränke dann doch. Das Essen ( 2 Pizzen) war nicht gut. Es hat einfach nicht geschmeckt. Wir haben sie jeweils nur zur Hälfte gegessen. Ein so schöner Ort hat ein besseres Restaurant verdient. Wir werden nicht mehr hingehen.

As always great. I've been there several times and have always been very satisfied Today on May 18th, 2024 we ate there again as part of a birthday party. I ordered rump steak with asparagus and potatoes. Everything arrived on time and was beautifully prepared. At first glance everything was fine. The steak was crispy and fried, but not seasoned and very tough to eat. The asparagus tasted watery and was very fibrous, so I couldn't eat it but could only suck it out. This is exactly what 2 other people in our group also discovered. Asparagus and steak are apparently not the highlights of the kitchen.

Ate here tonight, bruschetta and pizza. Rarely have I had such a delicious bruschetta. The pizza is a dream and can only be recommended. The service was very attentive and super friendly. The great view of the Rhine completes the overall picture. An absolute recommendation. 5*++

So, I'm really disappointed. It was always delicious when ordering and have now been there to eat there. The dips already had a skin, the rolls were just hard. The salad was nothing special, the main course was not edible. It tasted terrible. Never again
